Speaker:

do a deep dive into sexual health and performance and how

Speaker:

it affects men of all ages and backgrounds. So let's get

Speaker:

started, and be sure to visit my website at

Speaker:

Speaker:

resources from the show. See you on the inside.

Speaker:

Hello there, Modern Man. I'm Dr Anne Truong, sexual health

Speaker:

medical doctor. What if I can tell you that you can do 10,000

Speaker:

Kegel exercises that will improve your erection, the

Speaker:

intensity of your orgasm, your prostate, how you urinate and

Speaker:

your ejaculation without having to do a lot of work? Stay tuned

Speaker:

to the end and find out exactly what that is.

Speaker:

Well, I'm always searching for the greatest innovation, the

Speaker:

greatest technology, the latest technology that is available for

Speaker:

sexual health. So going to multiple conferences and talking

Speaker:

to companies through is a technology called high intensity

Speaker:

frequency electromagnetic field treatment, which is essentially

Speaker:

a large magnet that can send signal to your muscles, which

Speaker:

then contract your muscles or make it like exercises without

Speaker:

you really having to do it. Now, how good is that? What if you

Speaker:

can sit in a chair, and essentially that chair will do

Speaker:

the contraction for you without you having to do it? So usually

Speaker:

Kegel, you will have to do the contraction and hold the

Speaker:

contraction for five seconds or 10 seconds, and then relax it

Speaker:

right? And you would do a repetition of 20 times or so,

Speaker:

two to three times a day. That takes time. Of course, you can

Speaker:

use it, do it discreetly. But what if you can sit in a chair

Speaker:

for about 25 minutes, and that chair, as I show in this

Speaker:

picture, can actually do the contraction for you. Not only is

Speaker:

it just 20 or so, but 10,000 contractions in about 25

Speaker:

minutes. And you can just sit in a chair, look on your phone,

Speaker:

read a nice book, or just listen to music, and it does the

Speaker:

contraction for you. This is the latest technology we have here,

Speaker:

you can just sit like that and enjoy it does not hurt. It is

Speaker:

non invasive, drug free, and it takes only five minutes. You

Speaker:

just sit there, right this. And this could also be done for

Speaker:

women as well too. Women can also enjoy the benefit of Kegel

Speaker:

as much as men. Now, how good is that? Well, you even just sit

Speaker:

and have the machine do 10,000 contractions without you having

Speaker:

to do it, and you only need to do it once a week for six weeks,

Speaker:

or you can do it twice a week for three weeks. Some people may

Speaker:

need 12 sessions, but those are just depending upon how you

Speaker:

respond. Now, Kegel, like I said before, non-invasive, no drug,

Speaker:

no injection, and can be performed discreetly.

Speaker:

What are the benefit of doing Kegel exercises, which is

Speaker:

essentially you're contracting the muscle that you see in the

Speaker:

picture, where I have that white arrow? So you said the muscle

Speaker:

for men, that is called the ischiocavernosis, which is in

Speaker:

the green, that you can see these two little muscles that

Speaker:

comes up on the side that's in the green, and then the

Speaker:

bulbospongiosis or the bulbocavernosis, which is in the

Speaker:

red. Which goes from the pelvic muscles all the way up to the

Speaker:

base of the penis, and then the ischiocavernosis kind of comes

Speaker:

in like a triangle. They're small muscles, but powerful

Speaker:

muscles. They're located just above the anus to your scrotal

Speaker:

area. They're small but powerful and often neglected because you

Speaker:

don't do the exercise, or you don't know how to do it, or if

Speaker:

you just don't know that it's there and why you need to do it.

Speaker:

But if somebody tells you that if you can do Kegel and it will

Speaker:

improve your urination, your prostate, your erection, your

Speaker:

orgasm and your ejaculation, you will probably pay attention.

Speaker:

Well, I also put the picture of the woman in there too, where

Speaker:

you can see where the red area is surrounding the labia and

Speaker:

then the green area, very similar to the men. Women can

Speaker:

enjoy all the same benefits as well. Though women don't have a

Speaker:

prostate gland, but it can certainly they can enjoy all the

Speaker:

benefit of urinary as well with intensity of orgasm and also

Speaker:

even ejaculation. Because these muscles are kind of like the

Speaker:

sling that holds up your internal organs, like your

Speaker:

intestine, your bladder, and for men the prostate, and for women

Speaker:

the uterus as well. They hold it like a sling. When your pelvic

Speaker:

muscle get weak, it's sat down, and then the bladder starts to

Speaker:

sat down, so is the uterus. So for women, it's called uterine

Speaker:

prolapse or bladder prolapse as well. And for men, you start to

Speaker:

notice a frequency of urination when you urinate a lot more than

Speaker:

often, and you don't empty the bladder as much. So it's a sling

Speaker:

and if it's weak it will side more. So you know the anatomy,

Speaker:

and when you sit on the chair, you want to position it so that

Speaker:

the magnet is right, kind of like where above the anus, into

Speaker:

the scrotal area and for women it's just all around the labial

Speaker:

What are the benefits of doing Kegel? Number one, it improves

Speaker:

area.

Speaker:

urinary control of your bladder. It reduces urinary incontinence,

Speaker:

especially after prostate surgery, so so important. It

Speaker:

decreases frequency of nighttime urination, or frequency of going

Speaker:

to the bathroom at night, which is called nocturia. Oftentimes,

Speaker:

men with prostate issue will need to go to the bathroom at

Speaker:

least three four times at night. And not only it's that, it's

Speaker:

also interrupting with your sleep or make you fatigue the

Speaker:

next day. It will also affect your testosterone production as

Speaker:

well. It also improves the ability to stop the urine flow

Speaker:

easier because the muscles are stronger so you can start and

Speaker:

stop your urine flow. So therefore you may have a more

Speaker:

powerful stream, and it reduces dribbling after urination. So a

Speaker:

lot of urinary benefits, and this is for both men and women.

Speaker:

Number two, it improves stronger erection, and also it will

Speaker:

improve better ejaculation control, and also reduce

Speaker:

premature ejaculatiom, and also improve the intensity of your

Speaker:

orgasm. Now, win, win, win erection ejaculation, reduce

Speaker:

premature ejaculation and increase orgasm intensity.

Speaker:

Because, believe it or not, those two tiny but powerful

Speaker:

muscles are responsible for all of this. When is the last time

Speaker:

that you actually exercise those muscles, if you didn't know

Speaker:

about Kegel, right?

Speaker:

The number three benefit is that it improves your prostate

Speaker:

health, because it potentially improves the symptoms that you

Speaker:

have with enlarged prostate. Enlarged prostate usually is you

Speaker:

go to your bathroom at night to urinate frequently, often two to

Speaker:

four times. And then you have reduced urine stream, which

Speaker:

means when you urinate, your urine stream is not as strong,

Speaker:

you dribble and then you have to go often, like half an hour ago,

Speaker:

an hour ago, you got to go again. And then you also have

Speaker:

decreased ejaculation as wellas decreased intensity of your

Speaker:

orgasm as welll. And it's so powerful, because it can

Speaker:

actually rehab your urine symptoms as well as your sexual

Speaker:

function after prostate surgery. And this is so much needed,

Speaker:

because we know how prostate surgery can really affect your

Speaker:

quality of life. Again, win, win, win.

Speaker:

Number four, it helps you control your fecal incontinent

Speaker:

or, you know, when you do number two, you can control it a lot

Speaker:

better as well. Again, those muscles work as a sling, which

Speaker:

you know, if a sling over time will side right? It's going to

Speaker:

be less weak. But what if you strengthen those muscle it can

Speaker:

hold up all your internal organs again, and by doing that, you're

Speaker:

able to control your bowel or number two movement.

Speaker:

Number five, it just helps with overall pelvic health, because,

Speaker:

again, the stronger your pelvic muscles are, the better support

Speaker:

the internal organs, such as the bladder and the intestine. For

Speaker:

men, the prostate and for women, is the uterus, the bladder, and

Speaker:

intestine. And it can relieve your overactive bladder symptom

Speaker:

too. Overactive bladder meaning that you just need to go to

Speaker:

bathroom frequently and sometimes there may be some

Speaker:

burning as well. Especially in women that are in menopause, you

Speaker:

have lubrication changes would then predispose them to have

Speaker:

more frequent urinary tract infection, as well as vaginal

Speaker:

dryness, which then lead to discomfort with intercourse.

Speaker:

So having said that, I hope that you understand the benefits of

Speaker:

how powerful these small but powerful muscles and how

Speaker:

important it is for your bladder function, your bowel function,

Speaker:

your sexual function, which is often neglected and ignored

Speaker:

until you actually know something about it. So I'm

Speaker:

hoping from this episode that you can get some actionable item

Speaker:

on how to strengthen the pelvic muscle and do Kegel. Now this

Speaker:

high chair can do 10,000 contraction for you through

Speaker:

electromagnetic energy. But you can do it yourself if you don't

Speaker:

have access to the chair, but the chair does it for you, and

Speaker:

we have that available in our office. So check out our office

Speaker:

in Virginia if you like to try this chair. What I like to

Speaker:

mention is that you can actually do this without the chair. You

Speaker:

can just, you know, do the contraction of the two pelvic

Speaker:

muscles. You can bring your hand down and feel down there, and

Speaker:

just, you contract it and hold it for about five seconds and

Speaker:

then release it for five seconds and do about 20 repetition about

Speaker:

two to three times a day. And you can do it while you're

Speaker:

driving, washing the dishes, or when you're at the stop sign.

Speaker:

You can do it when you're watching TV. You want to start

Speaker:

with first lying down and then doing sitting up and doing

Speaker:

standing. And you can even add it with doing pelvic tilt, where

Speaker:

you lift up your buttocks while both your feet are on the ground

Speaker:

as well. Check out the video that I talked about doing these

Speaker:

exercises. Check out the chair, check out the office, and just

Speaker:

know how important Kegel is, and so check it out. Also, check out

Speaker:

our Modern Man Club, it's a discreet and safe space and

Speaker:

community where men with ED and even prostate problem support

Speaker:
