Most people use the words "I AM" as if they're simply describing themselves.
"I am broke." "I am lonely." "I am stuck."
But what if I told you that every time you speak those two words, you're not making a statement, you're issuing a divine command?
Your words are not labels. They are decrees. They are the creative power of the universe flowing through your lips. And whether you know it or not, reality must obey.
I am Abdullah. For decades in New York City, men of power, doctors, lawyers, bankers, men who built empires, sought me out in my modest room on West 72nd Street. Not because I had credentials. Not because I promised them easy answers. But because they felt something when they entered my presence.
They felt authority.
And that authority did not come from me trying to be wise. It came from me being wisdom itself. My consciousness created the evidence. My "I AM" spoke before my words ever did.
Most people think "I AM" statements are affirmations, positive self-talk to boost confidence. But they are not affirmations. They are invocations. You are calling upon the only creative power that exists in this universe: the name of God itself.
And when you speak as "I AM," you're not asking. You're not hoping. You're not wishing.
You are commanding reality to conform.
By the end of this teaching, you will understand why your inner speech has failed you. Why you've been speaking curses instead of blessings. And most importantly, how to use the most powerful two words in existence to bend everything, circumstances, people, time itself, to your will.
But I must warn you: Once you truly grasp this, you cannot unknow it. You cannot return to speaking carelessly. Because you will realize that every "I AM" that leaves your lips is God speaking.
Let me tell you something that will disturb you.
Every day, from morning until night, you are speaking. But most of you are not speaking as God. You are speaking to God. And there is a catastrophic difference.
Listen to how people pray: "God, please help me." "I hope things get better." "Maybe if I work hard enough..." "When will I finally have enough money?"
This is the language of beggars. This is petition. This is asking permission from an external power to give you what you desire.
But scripture tells us plainly: "I AM the Lord thy God. Thou shalt have no other gods before me."
There is no external God to petition. There is only the "I AM" within you. And that "I AM" is the creative force itself.
Most people carry on inner conversations all day long that are drenched in lack, limitation, and fear. They don't even realize they're doing it.
"I can't afford that." "I'm always broke." "Nobody ever appreciates me." "Why does this always happen to me?" "I'm so unlucky."
Every sentence is a declaration of lack. Every word is a testimony to limitation. Their inner speech is creating their prison.
Your inner conversations are not idle thoughts. They are creative forces. They are constantly shaping, molding, crystallizing your world.
Most people fail not because they don't visualize. Not because they don't meditate. Not because they don't follow techniques.
They fail because their inner speech contradicts everything they claim to desire.
They say "I am wealthy" in their morning affirmations. But then they spend all day saying "I can't afford it." "Money is tight." "I'm always broke."
Which statement do you think carries more weight? The one you mechanically repeated for 60 seconds? Or the hundreds of times throughout the day when you spoke from your actual consciousness?
Your inner speech reveals your dwelling place. Your habitual "I AM" statements show where you truly live.
If you want to know what you've been declaring inwardly, simply look at your world. Your world is your inner conversations made visible. Every circumstance, every relationship, every condition in your life is the crystallized form of your habitual inner speech.
The broke man stays broke because his inner speech constantly declares: "I don't have enough." "This is too expensive." "I'll never get ahead."
The lonely person stays lonely because their inner speech repeats: "Nobody loves me." "I'm always alone." "People always leave."
The stuck person stays stuck because they tell themselves: "I can't change." "This is just how my life is." "Nothing ever works for me."
These are not observations. These are creative decrees.
Every time you say "I am" followed by a condition you don't desire, you are commanding that condition to remain. You are using the most powerful creative force in existence to perpetuate your own suffering.
But the reverse is also true.
When you change your inner speech, when you begin to declare only what you desire to experience, reality must conform.
This is not positive thinking. This is not wishful affirmation. This is the fundamental law by which all creation occurs.
Let me teach you something that most will never grasp.
There are two ways to speak to reality. One is the way of the beggar. The other is the way of the king.
The beggar says: "I want to be wealthy." "I need love." "I wish I could be healthy." "I hope things get better."
These are petitions. They are requests. They acknowledge separation between you and your desire. Every time you say "I want," you are confessing "I don't have." Every time you say "I need," you are declaring "I lack."
These words may seem innocent. But they are creative forces. And they are creating more wanting, more needing, more wishing, more hoping.
Because the universe does not give you what you want. It gives you what you are.
If you are someone who wants wealth, you remain wanting. If you are someone who needs love, you remain needing. If you are someone who wishes for health, you remain wishing.
But the king speaks differently.
The king says: "I am wealthy." "I am loved." "I am healthy." "I am blessed."
These are not requests. These are declarations. These are commands. These are statements of ownership, of possession, of being.
Let me show you something from scripture that will illuminate this completely.
In the book of Joel, it is written: "Let the weak man say, I am strong."
Do you see the instruction? It does not say, "Let the weak man hope to become strong." It does not say, "Let the weak man ask God for strength." It says: "Let the weak man say, I am strong."
This is not lying. This is not denial. This is calling things that are not as though they were. This is speaking with the name of God.
Because God's name is not some distant external title. God's name is "I AM."
When Moses asked the burning bush, "Who shall I say sent me?" the answer was clear: "Tell them I AM has sent you."
Not "I will be." Not "I might become." But "I AM."
This is present tense. This is now. This is the eternal present where all creation occurs.
Most people pray incorrectly. They say, "In the name of Jesus, please give me strength." This is calling upon the name. This is external petition.
But the law works differently. You must call with the name.
You must say: "I am strong."
When you speak with God's name, you speak as God. And when you speak as God, reality has no choice but to conform to your word.
Let me give you an example that proves this principle completely.
There was a man who wanted a building in New York City. A magnificent building that was far beyond what he could afford. He had no money. He had no credit. He had no logical path to ownership.
But this man understood the principle I'm teaching you.
Every day as he walked past that building, he imagined seeing a sign with his own name on it. And as he read that imagined sign in his mind, his inner speech automatically repeated: "This is my building. I am the owner of this building."
He could not read an imagined sign without speaking it inwardly. And so day after day, week after week, his inner speech declared his ownership.
He never petitioned. He never begged. He never said "I hope I can get this building someday."
He simply declared: "It is mine."
Two years later, the building's owners failed. A stranger approached him out of nowhere and offered to finance the purchase. He bought that building for fifty thousand dollars using another man's money.
Years later, he sold it for eight hundred forty thousand dollars.
This is what happens when you speak with authority instead of petition. This is what happens when you declare "I am" instead of "I want."
Your assumption creates your reality. But assumption must be spoken, felt, and dwelled in. It must become your inner conversation.
Let me share with you something from my own teachings, something that transforms this from concept into practice.
Within you, there is a secret place. A sanctuary. The inner chamber where you commune with the Father, which is simply your own consciousness, your own "I AM."
From this secret place, you speak your "I AM" out into the world.
This is not complicated. This is not mystical mumbo-jumbo. This is practical instruction.
You go within. You close your eyes. You shut out the external noise, the evidence of your senses, the testimony of your circumstances.
And in that quiet place, you fill your lungs with breath, with life itself, and you speak from the consciousness of the one who already has it:
"I am healthy." "I am wealthy." "I am joyous." "I am happy."
But here is what most people miss: You are not trying to convince yourself. You are not repeating empty words. You are communing with the Father within, acknowledging what already is in consciousness.
Because in that secret place, you realize: I am whatever "I AM" is. You and "I AM" are one.
There is no separation. There is no distance between you and the creative power. You are that power.
And when this truth floods through you, when you truly feel the oneness, a thrilling, joyous feeling overtakes you. You realize you are a son of the Most High. You realize you were born to have dominion. You realize all things are placed under your feet.
This is not arrogance. This is recognition of your true nature.
You are supreme. Your mind is supreme. Your consciousness is supreme.
What are these deep growths of weeds that have choked your life? These limiting beliefs? These patterns of lack? These inner conversations of poverty and limitation?
They are nothing. They have no power except what you gave them by repeatedly declaring them with your "I AM."
But the moment you enter that secret place and speak your true "I AM," those weeds begin to shrivel. Those chains begin to break. Those limitations begin to dissolve.
Because you are not the person drowning in circumstances. You are the one who controls all circumstances.
Your body is not at the mercy of disease. Your body is a palace. It is supreme. It glows with new strength when you declare: "I am healthy."
Your finances are not at the mercy of the economy. Your treasury is open when you declare: "I am wealthy."
Your relationships are not at the mercy of others' choices. Love flows to you when you declare: "I am loved."
This is the "I AM" process. This is how you step into the consciousness of the one who already has everything.
And from that consciousness, your inner speech changes. Your outer words change. Your actions change. Your entire world changes.
Because consciousness creates reality. Always. Without exception.
Now we come to the heart of this teaching. The part that changes everything if you truly grasp it.
At every moment of every day, you are talking. You are carrying on inner conversations. You cannot stop them even if you try.
When you see someone, you are inwardly commenting on them. When something happens, you are inwardly reacting to it. When you think of your desires, you are inwardly speaking about them.
These inner conversations are not idle chatter. They are creative forces. They are God speaking through you. And they are crystallizing into your manifested world.
Your whole vast world is this inner conversation pushed out. If you want to know what you have been saying inwardly, look at your world. Your world reflects your inner speech perfectly.
The broke man does not become wealthy because morning, noon, and night his inner speech says: "I can't afford it." "Money is so hard to make." "I never have enough." "Why is this always happening to me?"
Every inner statement is a declaration. Every inner conversation is a creative act. And those words spoken in the silence of consciousness have ten times more power than words spoken aloud.
Research has shown, though I knew this long before any research, that when you say something, it has ten times the influence over you compared to when you merely think it.
But here is what is even more important: When you say something negative, it has forty to seventy times greater impact than saying something positive.
This is why your curses manifest faster than your blessings. This is why your fears materialize more quickly than your desires.
Every time you say "I am broke," you are cursing yourself with tremendous power. Every time you say "I am unloved," you are casting a spell of isolation. Every time you say "I am stuck," you are building a prison.
But the reverse is also true.
When you declare "I am wealthy," you are blessing yourself. When you declare "I am loved," you are opening the floodgates of affection. When you declare "I am free," you are breaking every chain.
This is why scripture warns us: "Death and life are in the power of the tongue."
Your tongue, your speech, both inner and outer, is either building your kingdom or burning it down. There is no neutral ground.
Most people are unconscious of their inner conversations. They let them run on autopilot, repeating the same destructive patterns they learned in childhood, the same limiting beliefs they absorbed from others, the same fearful thoughts they've entertained for years.
And then they wonder why their lives never change.
They are using the greatest creative power in the universe, the power of "I AM", to repeatedly declare lack, limitation, fear, and separation.
But you now have the key to change everything.
Starting today, you must become aware of your inner speech. You must catch yourself when you begin to say "I am" followed by anything you do not desire.
When you catch yourself saying "I am broke," stop immediately. Do not let that declaration complete. Instead, speak from your secret place: "I am wealthy."
When you catch yourself saying "I am alone," interrupt that pattern instantly. Replace it with: "I am loved."
When you catch yourself saying "I am powerless," redirect immediately: "I am supreme."
This is not lying. This is not denial of facts. This is choosing which reality you will create.
The facts of the 3D world are simply the delayed manifestation of your old inner speech. They have no power to continue unless you keep speaking them into existence.
But the moment you change your inner conversation, you begin creating a new world.
The man who wanted the building did not change his outer circumstances first. He changed his inner speech first. Day after day, he inwardly declared "This is my building" until that assumption hardened into fact.
The woman who wanted to marry a specific man did not change his engagement first. She changed her inner conversation first. She stopped saying "He's with someone else" and started declaring "I am his wife" until reality conformed.
Every master of this law understood the same truth: You do not change your outer world directly. You change your inner speech, and the outer world must follow.
Your inner conversations are either keeping you in bondage or setting you free. There is no middle ground.
Choose them wisely. Because they are literally creating your tomorrow.
And here is something most people never realize: You can change your inner speech right now. This very moment. You don't need to wait for circumstances to improve. You don't need permission. You don't need anything external.
You simply enter your secret place, commune with the "I AM" within, and speak from the consciousness of already having what you desire.
And as you persist in that new inner speech, as you make it your habitual conversation, your outer world must conform.
This is law. This is how creation works. This is the only power that exists.
Let me give you the ultimate simplicity of this teaching.
Out of all the words in the English language, all the vocabulary you could use, all the ways you could express yourself, there is one word that matters more than all others combined.
That word is: AM.
Not "was." Not "will be." Not "might become."
But AM.
Present tense. Immediate. Now.
Most people live their entire lives in the wrong tense.
They say: "I will be wealthy someday." "I was happy before." "I might become successful if I work hard enough."
These are not creative statements. These are statements of separation, of delay, of doubt.
But when you say "I am," you collapse all time into the present moment. You declare that you possess your desire now, in consciousness, which is the only place that truly exists.
Everything you want exists right now in consciousness. The wealth exists. The love exists. The health exists. The success exists.
The only question is: What are you saying you am?
Because whatever follows those two words becomes your reality.
If you say "I am struggling," you create struggle. If you say "I am trying," you create effort. If you say "I am becoming," you create process without end.
But if you say: "I am wealthy" - you create wealth. "I am loved" - you create love. "I am successful" - you create success.
This is the secret hidden in plain sight throughout all scripture. This is the name of God revealed to Moses. This is the creative word by which all things were made.
In the beginning was the Word. And the Word was "I AM."
When you understand this, when you truly grasp that every time you say "I AM" you are speaking with the voice of the Creator, your relationship with language changes forever.
You stop speaking carelessly. You stop complaining. You stop declaring lack.
Instead, you speak as one having authority. You command your reality. You decree your world into existence.
This is not manipulation. This is not forcing. This is simply using the law correctly.
And when you use it correctly, when you consistently speak from your "I am," reality has no choice but to bend.
Not because you are powerful.
But because I AM is all power.
Listen to what scripture says again: "Let the weak man say, I am strong."
It does not say the weak man should visualize strength. It does not say he should feel strong. It says he should say "I am strong."
Because saying it creates it. Speaking it makes it so. Declaring it brings it into being.
This is the creative power. This is the law. This is how God creates.
And you are not separate from God. You are God expressing as an individual. Your "I AM" is God's "I AM" localized as you.
So when you speak "I am," you are speaking with all the creative power of the universe behind your words.
Use this power wisely. Use it consciously. Use it with the reverence it deserves.
Because your "I AM" is creating your world whether you realize it or not.
So what have you learned today?
You have learned that you are not at the mercy of circumstances. You are the creator of circumstances.
You have learned that you are not a beggar asking for God's favor. You are God expressing in human form.
You have learned that your inner speech is not casual thought. It is creative command.
You have learned that when you speak as "I AM," you are invoking the only power that exists in this universe.
Most people go through life never realizing they hold this power. They speak unconsciously. They declare lack without awareness. They curse themselves with every "I am not" that passes through their consciousness.
But you now know better.
The question is: What will you do with this knowledge?
Will you return to your old patterns, speaking powerlessly, declaring limitation, perpetuating lack?
Or will you enter your secret place, commune with the Father within, and speak your true "I AM" with authority?
The choice is yours. But know this: The universe is listening. Every moment. Every word. Every inner conversation.
And whatever you say you am, you become.
This is not theory. This is not philosophy. This is law.
The man who declared "This is my building" became the owner of the building.
The people who have mastered this law did not do so by hoping or wishing. They did so by consistently speaking from the consciousness of already having what they desired.
They changed their inner speech. And their world changed.
You can do the same. Starting today. Starting this moment.
Simply become aware of what you are saying after "I am." And if it is not what you desire, change it immediately.
Let me leave you with this final truth.
You are not learning something new today. You are remembering something ancient.
You are remembering that you are not separate from the creative power. You are the creative power.
You are remembering that your words are not descriptions. They are decrees.
You are remembering that when you say "I AM," you are speaking the name of God.
This is why I had authority when Neville came to me. This is why successful men sought me out. Not because I knew more information than they did. But because my consciousness was that of one who knows.
I was not trying to be authoritative. I was authoritative.
My identity created the evidence of students seeking me.
And this is what you must understand: Your identity creates your evidence. Not the other way around.
Use this power wisely. Use it consciously. Use it with the reverence it deserves.
Because your "I AM" is creating your world whether you realize it or not.
The only question is: What world will you create?
I am Abdullah. And I have shown you the key to the kingdom.
Now go. Enter your secret place. And speak your true "I AM."
Everything else will bend to your will.
