Speaker A

And after more than 20 years, and now actually this one.

Speaker A

850 episodes.

Speaker A

WWRADO has never been just a podcast.

Speaker A

It really is more about community and conversation and a shared adventure.

Speaker A

And today, I get to share part of this adventure with someone who's been part of the story since almost the very beginning.

Speaker A

She's not just a friend.

Speaker A

She's family.

Speaker A

She's traveled the world with us, sailed almost all of the seven seas with us, and survived countless recordings with me.

Speaker A

She is the Dory to my Marlin, the Vanellope to my Ralph, the She Hulk to my Daredevil, and, yes, the Ras to my Mike Wazowski.

Speaker A

Even if she's always watching, I just have a feeling that she is.

Speaker A

She is my trusted travel buddy, dream enabler, and official partner in magic.

Speaker A

She is Becky Menken from Mei and Mouse Fan Travel.

Speaker B

I really love the Dream Enabler one.

Speaker B

I might have to hold onto that.

Speaker B

Wait, this is 850.

Speaker A

It's 850.

Speaker B

How did that happen?

Speaker A

I mean, technically, it's more than I.

Speaker A

Like, I've published more than a thousand episodes.

Speaker A

If you look at your podcast feed, it's like 1100 episodes because there's newscasts and stuff like that in there, but numerically, canonically, canonically, it is 850.

Speaker A

So this.

Speaker B

Congratulations.

Speaker B

That's.

Speaker B

That says a lot.

Speaker B

Either it says a lot or it says you're old.

Speaker B

One or the other.

Speaker B

But.

Speaker B

Or that we've been around a long time doing.

Speaker A

And it was so important to me to have you on this, like, somewhat milestone number.

Speaker A

And you're like, you're old.

Speaker B

I said we.

Speaker B

Because, like you said, I've kind of been around since almost the beginning.

Speaker B

But, yeah, it's been a wild ride and it's been a lot of fun with so much more to come.

Speaker A

Yeah, there is a lot.

Speaker A

And look, you know, we talk all about making the most of your time and your vacation and your memories, and I don't recommend things lightly on the show, but you and your agents and advisors and Mouse Van Travel has not just helped me and my family, but literally thousands of our friends in this community plan their vacations with the utmost care and expertise and personal attention and that little something extra.

Speaker A

So, thank you.

Speaker A

Thank you for you for what you do for me and my immediate family and My extended family and for being part of a good portion of these 850plus episodes and lots and lots of memories.

Speaker B

My pleasure.

Speaker B

And well, and lots of chicken tenders and lots of food and lots of whatever we have indulged in over time.

Speaker B

Doing research, obviously it's research.

Speaker A

I, I, it's probably in an unhealthy way.

Speaker A

I dream about the chicken tenders on the Disney Cruise Line.

Speaker B

No, we are going to do a blind taste test of chicken tenders where we're going to get it from room service and from the deck 11 and we're going to bring them to you.

Speaker B

We're going to see if you can tell the difference.

Speaker A

Every part of that sentence makes me happy.

Speaker A

All right, but today, listen, we got to get, we're going to dive into your, our friend who's sitting here at whatever table this is with us.

Speaker A

We're going to maybe share some stories, maybe we're going to laugh a little bit.

Speaker A

We're going to hopefully help you learn something new and hopefully make your next Disney adventure even more magical.

Speaker A

So get comfy, get ready, and let's jump into this email segment together.

Speaker B

The box is pretty much overflowing, right?

Speaker A

Huh?

Speaker B

The box has been overflowing.

Speaker B

It's been a while.

Speaker A

Listen, we've been answering emails together for these 18 plus years and I didn't tell you this in advance, but we're gonna try something new this week.

Speaker B

No.

Speaker B

No, it's too early in the morning for that.

Speaker A

So funny.

Speaker A

When we first got on, she's like, it's way too early and my mic's not working.

Speaker A

I don't like my camera and the lighting is weird.

Speaker A

I'm like, listen, stop making excuses.

Speaker B

It's because something much more horrific is on its way.

Speaker B

Got it.

Speaker A

I like how you sort of put the disclaimer at the very beginning no matter what is about to happen.

Speaker A

Look, I am.

Speaker A

Sincerely GR that so many of you.

Speaker A

And your memories and background information and so much great detail in the emails that you send and I read like 20 plus years later, I still am the only person that has ever and will ever read every single email, Facebook message, DM letter that comes in it, like anything myself.

Speaker A

But I also know, and I appreciate so much of what you share, but I also know that I have, and I did a rough count, about 7 million emails to get to in the inbox and I try to read them all in their entirety.

Speaker A

Let's just say that in 18 years, I've never gotten to inbox zero in listener emails.

Speaker A

So what I did was something different, a little bit different this morning.

Speaker A

And I went.

Speaker A

I normally don't go.

Speaker A

So normally what I do, Becky, is I literally just crack open the inbox and I will scan, like, subject lines or the first line, and I'll just read it and whatever happens, happens.

Speaker A

And I think it's.

Speaker A

It not only makes it more authentic and real, and it just.

Speaker A

It helps her show, you know, what we know or don't know.

Speaker A

But, you know, it's not like we sit there and do a lot of research for it.

Speaker A

But this time what I did is.

Speaker B

I went to job, didn't it?

Speaker B

You, like, threw AI at it and said, here, give me the one with all the food.

Speaker A

And.

Speaker A

Yeah, well, most of them are bad.

Speaker A

No, what I did was I went through them and I just pulled out the relevant questions because sometimes I'll get.

Speaker A

And I'm grateful for do not stop.

Speaker A

Like, 17 paragraphs of backstories.

Speaker A

And.

Speaker A

And sometimes they are very wonderful and they are very moving and they're very humbling.

Speaker A

And I would be almost embarrassed to read some on the air, but some of them I actually saved because they mean that much to me.

Speaker A

But I just pulled out the relevant questions to get to the heart or really the answer that the listener and hopefully you.

Speaker A

Because I think if one person has a question, other people have it as well, are looking for.

Speaker A

So we're going to try something a little bit different.

Speaker A

We've done lightning rounds in the past, but this time I've just gone in, I've extracted the question itself so we can get to the heart of the matter and see how many we might be able to get to in this second.

Speaker A

So.

Speaker B

Okay, good luck with that.

Speaker B

Let's see how that goes.

Speaker A

Because I think in the past, I sometimes.

Speaker A

We sometimes spend half the time just reading the questions, which.

Speaker A

Which, again, I love and appreciate, but we're going to try something new this time and see how well it works, or if it is an absolute dumpster fire.

Speaker A

And I never.

Speaker A

The episode never sees the light of day, which I've only done once before in all 20 years, I've only recorded one.

Speaker A

No, I take that back.

Speaker A

I only recorded an episode and a half that I've never actually aired.

Speaker A

And maybe one day I'll share those stories.

Speaker B

That's an interesting story.

Speaker A

Maybe it is.

Speaker A

All right, we're going to try it.

Speaker A

Buckle up.

Speaker A

Let's get into it.

Speaker A

The first question comes from Emma Caldwell, who basically says, should I choose?

Speaker A

She.

Speaker A

Emma wrote a lot about our.

Speaker A

The stuff that we've shared on the podcast about the Disney Destiny and social and what she's seen.

Speaker A

And she said look, should I choose the new Disney Destiny or one of the classic ships for her first cruise she didn't give a lot of context who she is, who she's going with anybody else.

Speaker A

So there's not contextually a lot I can use to help answer that.

Speaker A

But just as a general like if you get asked that question, Becky, and I'm sure that you do you choose the Destiny because it's the brightest, shiniest new object in the fleet or do you choose one of the classic or Dream class ships?

Speaker B

There are so many factors around that though because you have budget.

Speaker B

Because of course the new shining object also comes with a new ship smell price, how many days do you want to be away?

Speaker B

If you want to do a seven night vacation, it's not going to be the Destiny because that's fours and fives.

Speaker B

Do you want to leave from Port Canaveral?

Speaker B

That's not gonna help you there because you wouldn't be the Destiny.

Speaker B

Cause that's Fort Lauderdale even though you can take Brightline down.

Speaker B

So there's gotta be a lot of qualifications in there to actually make what I love the Brightline I know allows you to get a lot of stuff done.

Speaker B

I do the same thing.

Speaker B

Crack the laptop out and you have two and a half hours of nothing but email chunking bliss.

Speaker B

But I think it's a really interesting question because I love every single version of Disney Cruise.

Speaker B

I love the classic ships.

Speaker B

I really love the fantasy.

Speaker B

I'm not a fan of the Wish, but I think that's because of the theming isn't exactly to me and a three and four day I think is too short for all the things to see and do on that ship.

Speaker B

I do adore the Destiny.

Speaker B

So part of it comes down to again all those qualifying questions.

Speaker B

What.

Speaker B

What do you want from your vacation?

Speaker B

Where do you want to go from?

Speaker B

What is your budget and what type of theme do you love?

Speaker B

Because that, that Heroes and villains is something very unique when you do a comparison to the other ships.

Speaker B

So it's hard to say yes or no.

Speaker B

It's more of a pros and cons and let you decide between the different ships that are available to you.

Speaker A

And I thought the same thing.

Speaker A

Right.

Speaker A

Because there are so many factors you have to take into consideration and we've talked about, you know, some ideas for, for something we want to do in terms of comparing and contrasting the ships.

Speaker A

But all things being equal.

Speaker A

Right.

Speaker A

Let's just Say just ship versus ship versus ship, especially for a first time cruiser, do you think starting with the Destiny because its newest might be best or starting with because again, like you, I can also make the same argument.

Speaker A

Like I love the classic ships for different reasons.

Speaker A

I love the Dream class ships for different reasons.

Speaker A

I love the art deco design of the Dream and the magic and the nouveau of the wonder and the fantasy in different spaces, in different places.

Speaker B

Or the intimacy considerations.

Speaker A

There's theme considerations, there's entertainment considerations to take into it.

Speaker B

But exactly like the, the intimacy of the, of the small ships, of the classic ships, not having 4,000, 5,000 people hanging out with you, each one of them has its own pros and cons.

Speaker B

So if you're a big Disney fan though, and it's your very first cruise, I could make an argument for the Destiny because it does have so many of the stories that we know and love around every corner when you're walking around the ship.

Speaker B

So I could definitely make an argument for that.

Speaker A

So to do like point counterpoint, I could also make an argument to do the magic or the wonder because.

Speaker A

They are smaller, right?

Speaker A

They're less sort of potentially overwhelming.

Speaker A

You do, I think, I think it's sort of a natural progression and graduation even to instead of going from the latest, greatest, biggest, best, highest technology, et cetera, starting off with something like the magic or wonder, getting acclimated to the Disney Cruise Line experience the service, the food, the rotational dining, et cetera, and then almost sort of stepping your way up then, all right, let's see what a Dream Class ship is like versus the magic and then moving on to the Wish class ship.

Speaker A

And, and I think that's where you have the more nuanced conversation like okay, if you're going to take a Wish class ship cruise, is the Wish, is the Treasure, is the Destiny more in line with you and your family or you and your friends or you by yourself?

Speaker A

What you want from the experience?

Speaker A

Do you want the Princess Fairy tale?

Speaker A

Do you want the Parks nostalgia?

Speaker A

Do you want the heroes and villains?

Speaker A

That's where you can sort of dovetail a little bit tighter.

Speaker A

Exactly.

Speaker A

The type of experience that you have, especially having cruised on other ships that don't have such specific ship specific theming to each one.

Speaker B

That's true.

Speaker B

And I gotta say, between the wish treasure in Destiny that is so important to know is that each one of them tells a different story.

Speaker B

So even the choice between those three is not just by class, it's by the theme that you want to experience.

Speaker B

But I have a better idea.

Speaker B

Just contact one of my advisors at MouseFan Travel.

Speaker B

We can sit and go through all of these questions that we're talking about and see which one is to be the best fit.

Speaker B

But I'm with you.

Speaker B

I could argue it any way for any of the three types of ships.

Speaker A

Or just do back to back to back.

Speaker A

Do all three different classes of ships and then you can decide which one is right.

Speaker B

Yeah, that works too.

Speaker A

Right.

Speaker A

I think all is always the best answer.

Speaker A

If you instead of having one after another, we're moving on, we're going to move on quickly because again, the whole point was to go faster.

Speaker A

Right.

Speaker A

Maya Torres said she was talking about nostalgia and the sense of losing things as different experience and attractions come and go and change.

Speaker A

And sometimes we lose some of our personal favorites.

Speaker A

Understanding why.

Speaker A

But her question basically is, what is one thing Becky, you think Disney should bring back immediately?

Speaker A

Now, she was talking at first about attractions, but she also sort of mentioned movies and things like that.

Speaker A

So you can maybe interpret this question as broadly as you like.

Speaker A

What is one thing that Disney should bring back immediately?

Speaker B

There's one thing that snaps into my brain the minute you said that.

Speaker B

Osborne lights.

Speaker B

I want Osborne Lights back more than anything because I think that what's so special about being at Disneyland or Disney World is during the holidays.

Speaker B

It's my favorite time to be there because everything is brighter and lighter and the music is going and it brings you into that holiday spirit.

Speaker B

Spirit.

Speaker B

But ever since Osborne Lights went away, it hasn't been as shiny as it used to be.

Speaker B

Having that tradition of going down that street and watching the lights and hearing the music, that was so much of Christmas to me.

Speaker B

And ever since Osborne Lights went away, I've never found another attraction or place to go in Disney World or in Disneyland that gave me that elevated feel of Christmas that I used to get from Osborne Lights.

Speaker B

So please figure out a way build, build a set, do whatever you need to do, but bring back Osborne Lights.

Speaker B

That was easy for me.

Speaker A

That's a great answer.

Speaker A

Especially, you know, as we're recording this on December 3rd.

Speaker A

It is, it is incredibly timely and I love the parks during.

Speaker A

All the parks are special during the holidays, but there was something special about the Osborne Lights and that it was not a hard ticketed event and anybody could go and.

Speaker A

Yeah, and it was a great.

Speaker A

You know, you talk about places that just feel more special and community driven and magical.

Speaker A

Like there was something special about being in Disney's Hollywood MDM studios during the OSMO lights.

Speaker A

Trying to find the black cat.

Speaker A

And just seeing how year over year it was the same, but always a little bit different.

Speaker A

And the music and the nostalgia.

Speaker A

That is a great, great, great answer, which I'm gonna have a really tough time trying to equal or beat out.

Speaker A

But.

Speaker A

But.

Speaker A

That made me think of something else.

Speaker A

Not just in Hollywood studios, but around the parks.

Speaker A

Bring back.

Speaker A

Taking off my glasses for effect.

Speaker A

Bring back the streetmosphere character.

Speaker B

Oh, yes.

Speaker A

Bring back the citizens of Hollywood.

Speaker A

Bring back the citizens of Main street, usa.

Speaker A

There is something, you know, without going down the, you know, the COVID road that we lost and things have come back.

Speaker A

Some things are better, some things are different.

Speaker A

But I think one of the things that is still this gaping hole for those that have had the opportunity to experience and meet and sometimes get to know those characters over the years, there's a little piece of the soul of the parks that is missing.

Speaker A

Keeping in mind, too, that they are real people that lost their jobs.

Speaker A

And that is definitely part of the equation for me as well.

Speaker A

But there was something about the spontaneity and the energy and the heart and the personal interactions that you could have with them.

Speaker A

You didn't need to know anything about them.

Speaker A

You didn't know any sort of backstory.

Speaker A

But I think it was just this wonderful additional layer.

Speaker A

We talk about surprise and delight moments all the time.

Speaker A

And as I'm thinking about some of the moments that I've had over the years with them, that very much is the heart of a piece of the heart of Disney that I would love to see come back.

Speaker B

That is such a great answer.

Speaker B

I totally agree with you.

Speaker B

That used to be the fun thing about hanging out when you first walked into the studios is you never knew who you were gonna find running around.

Speaker B

And you could actually have those engagements, those interactions, those relationship builds with that park because you got to know the citizens and yeah, I think that's a wonderful answer.

Speaker B

And I bring them both back.

Speaker B

Can we do that today, please?

Speaker A

I remember God was her name.

Speaker A

It was like Dorman Nesmond instead of Norma Desmond on Hollywood Studios and the fire chief and the suffragette sisters on Main Street.

Speaker A

Yeah, would love to.

Speaker A

Love to see them come back.

Speaker B

Me too.

Speaker A

Connor Ellison says.

Speaker A

So we were.

Speaker A

He was talking about this past week show.

Speaker A

I talked about some of the overlooked dining experiences in the parks and resorts, and he was talking about other things around the parks that he felt are underrated, underappreciated.

Speaker A

So his question was basically, what is one Disney experience?

Speaker A

I'm assuming he means in Walt Disney.

Speaker A

World that you think is criminally underrated?

Speaker A

Oh, yeah.

Speaker A

It's not as easy.

Speaker A

Like, first I'm like, oh, this is simple.

Speaker A

I'm like, wait, this is not maybe as simple as it is.

Speaker A

And I can't.

Speaker A

I'm giving you time to think.

Speaker A

I can't use some of the dining experiences because that was show 849.

Speaker A

And I think some of those are maybe criminally as a stretch, but are very much like I think Pepe.

Speaker A

I've.

Speaker A

I never hear anybody talk about Pepe in Disney Springs.

Speaker A

So much so that I was.

Speaker A

I might even go to Disney Springs to do the live show tonight just so I can go to Pepe.

Speaker B

That is such a great question.

Speaker B

Because you know when you.

Speaker B

When you get into the park, you always have that one that you're going to rope drop and run to as fast as you can to try to.

Speaker B

To make sure to get in line as quickly as you can.

Speaker B

But there are attractions and experiences that you don't get that opportunity to do because you're too busy standing in line for the.

Speaker B

The E ticket attractions.

Speaker B

The first one that came to my mind, and this isn't the best answer.

Speaker B

I think there's a better answer.

Speaker B

But the first one that came to my mind was the train is being underrated just because you run past it to get to where you're going.

Speaker B

But that feel of being on the train going around Magic Kingdom makes you kind of appreciate the different lands.

Speaker B

Cause you get to see it from there and you get to relax a little bit.

Speaker B

So that's the first thing that hit my brain.

Speaker B

But I think that there's another answer.

Speaker B

But I can't.

Speaker B

I don't know what it is yet.

Speaker B

What?

Speaker A

I thought that too, because I was like, it sets the tone for your day at Magic Kingdom.

Speaker A

And it's the narration and it's the views and it's the pacing of that attraction and the connection to Walt that I love so much.

Speaker A

And I'm like.

Speaker A

But then I'm like, well, how over underrated is it?

Speaker A

Like, sometimes you'll go.

Speaker A

And there is a line at the Main street station for it.

Speaker A

So then as I was quickly sort of bouncing around in my mind going from park to park and trying to hit quickly the resorts, one of the things that stood out, and I think now is a wonderful time of year to really enjoy some of these things, are over at Disney's Animal Kingdom, the trails.

Speaker A

And when I say trails, I mean, like.

Speaker A

And I never see the Discovery island trails.

Speaker A

I think at Animal Kingdom are These quiet, lush, hidden pathways around the Tree of Life.

Speaker A

You might be listening, going, what paths?

Speaker A

What are you even talking about exactly?

Speaker A

There are these wonderful little, like, carvings and waterfalls and no crowds.

Speaker A

And when you.

Speaker A

And one of the things I think is even more so is when you first walk onto Discovery Island.

Speaker A

You know, we're so busy rushing to get to insert your favorite attraction here and try and beat the line, whatever it might be.

Speaker A

I think we don't take the time to wander and navigate some of those paths.

Speaker A

And sometimes when you do, especially, like if you are a photographer, you get some incredible views of Disney's Animal Kingdom, whether it's on Discovery island path, whether it's on the paths around the Tree of Life, or even doing things like the Maharaja Jungle Trek and the Grill Falls.

Speaker A

Like, the level of detail, and it's not even sometimes just all about the animals that you get to see, but the detail and storytelling that is in there, like, so incredibly meticulously woven into every carving that you see, every signpost that you see.

Speaker A

Everything sort of matters in terms of Grant, I think I did a show about Maharaja Jungle Trek eons ago.

Speaker A

I'll look back.

Speaker A

If not, I will do it because I think it is very, very much an overlooked experience in the parks.

Speaker B

That's.

Speaker A

And it's also.

Speaker A

It's a.

Speaker A

Do it at your own pace and it's accessible to everybody, and you get some really.

Speaker B

That's a really good one because when you go in Animal Kingdom, you rush off to the, like you said, insert your favorite attraction here or to the safari.

Speaker B

But some of the best times I've had in that park is just wandering around and trying to find the tigers and meandering around the trails and seeing what animals you run into.

Speaker B

But honestly, it's been a while since I've done that, and I really enjoy it.

Speaker B

So maybe you're right.

Speaker B

Maybe that is.

Speaker B

It's definitely a better answer than the train.

Speaker B

But I think there might be another one out there that we're not thinking of.

Speaker B

That'd be an interesting one to, like, put out to the Clubhouse to see what.

Speaker B

What people would say.

Speaker A

Yeah.

Speaker A

And as we go into this, if you have answers to these questions of your own, you can either post it in the clubhouse www.comclubhouse or if you wanna be heard on the air, I'll play Your voicemail at 407-900-9391.

Speaker A

That's 407-900-WDW1.

Speaker A

You could be like, Mangello Mankin.

Speaker A

You guys are idiots.

Speaker A

How did you miss X?

Speaker B

Exactly.

Speaker A

As long as there's no profanity involved.

Speaker B

I will play the moment.

Speaker B

The moment that we're done recording, I'm going to go, oh, my gosh, we forgot.

Speaker B

Blah.

Speaker A

Yeah, like, oh, my God, we're such idiots.

Speaker B

I need more coffee.

Speaker A

Miles.

Speaker A

I think I'm pronouncing.

Speaker A

Miles Harrop was talking in his email about.

Speaker A

He was referencing one of the.

Speaker A

An earlier show and some of the details and things that we were pointing out.

Speaker A

And he basically said, what little detail in the parks brings you the most joy?

Speaker A

And I was like, aw.

Speaker A

Because that's what it is.

Speaker A

I do love finding and discovering and more importantly, sharing those details.

Speaker A

And sometimes you just see something and I'm like, this is it.

Speaker A

This is one of those cool little details about Walt Disney World that just makes me happy.

Speaker A

And there's no.

Speaker A

What I like about this is there's no quote unquote, right or wrong answer.

Speaker A

It's just something that you see in the parks that might just make you happy.

Speaker A

And I, I really, you know, I.

Speaker A

Again, I'm giving you time to think or ask.

Speaker A

ChatGPT.

Speaker A

I, I started this journey writing trivia books about Walt Disney World.

Speaker A

I wrote two.

Speaker A

So it was the details, it was some of those little things that were overlooked that not only I enjoyed finding, but I enjoyed sharing.

Speaker A

And then when I did my audio tours of Magic Kingdom, it's really when I was able to get very, very granular and find and point out some of those things and have that medium and that platform to be able to share them and show them and discuss them.

Speaker A

And I used to do tours of Magic Kingdom and the things that would bring me most joy was when I would show somebody something and they would have that light like, oh, this has been sitting here the whole time and I've just never seen it before.

Speaker A

So again, interpret this, I think, however you like.

Speaker A

What is one of those details that brings you joy?

Speaker A

And it.

Speaker A

Not necessarily.

Speaker A

Becky, doesn't have to be.

Speaker A

I think something that you see, it could be something.

Speaker A

Excuse me.

Speaker A

That you hear, that you smell, that you taste, but it's just one of those little details.

Speaker B

Okay, so you're gonna laugh at this.

Speaker B

I don't know if it necessarily brings me joy, but it makes me laugh every single time I see it.

Speaker B

The river of poo.

Speaker B

I don't know.

Speaker B

And that, that's because, you know, clearly you pointed that out on one of your, on one of the.

Speaker B

Things you used to do, the, the guiding you used to do.

Speaker B

And I remember Seeing that you telling the story, and then all of a sudden, I can't unsee it.

Speaker B

So every time I see it now, it.

Speaker B

It makes me laugh hysterically.

Speaker B

So that's probably the.

Speaker B

The thing that stood out the moment you asked that question.

Speaker B

That's the first thing.

Speaker B

Pop.

Speaker B

Another thing that I enjoy is I love finding hidden Mickeys.

Speaker B

I still really love that little detail because you have to sometimes look at everything to discover where those little hidden Mickeys are.

Speaker B

But if you're talking about a sound or a sight, and this just goes to my heart, which is the sound of fireworks.

Speaker B

At night.

Speaker B

When you have the nighttime show, sometimes I don't even need to be watching the show.

Speaker B

You can hear the sound of the mortars going off, and you can hear the music.

Speaker B

And that brings me joy.

Speaker B

I know that there's a lot of design elements, and that show is somebody's baby that they put together meticulously with the music.

Speaker B

And it always either is.

Speaker B

I know somebody in the audience who's watching that show.

Speaker B

Is crying because of joy or a memory or something that is happening in that show is bringing them to an emotional point of happiness or sadness at times.

Speaker B

So I think that that's probably the detail that I love the most.

Speaker A

So I laughed when you said the river of Pooh, because, like, you.

Speaker A

And I think it's becoming a lot more well known now.

Speaker A

But I remember again, when I first started this, I was doing the trivia books and the podcast, and then there was a while I was doing.

Speaker A

I would do personal tours of Magic Kingdom, and I never, like, followed a script.

Speaker A

I never sort of.

Speaker A

But I sort of had a path, right?

Speaker A

Because there's an overarching story of Magic Kingdom.

Speaker A

So the way I would go from land to land would sort of tell that story.

Speaker A

And I always liked when I got to Liberty Square because I had that moment.

Speaker A

Like, there was.

Speaker A

There was.

Speaker A

This was the big joke.

Speaker A

Like, this was sort of like the river of Pooh joke.

Speaker A

And I loved watching, like, and, like, telling the same story, like, with the same enthusiasm, like river of Pooh, and people like, oh, my God, it's funny.

Speaker A

And now I think it's sort of just.

Speaker A

It is very well known.

Speaker A

But as you were talking, I'm like, well, this brings me joy, and that brings me joy.

Speaker A

And I'm like.

Speaker A

And I'm like, this is why I still love this place so much.

Speaker A

Because if I walk onto Main street usa, and it's the sound of the dapper Dance or the clop clop of the horse Drawn trolley go by.

Speaker A

It is the subtle background loops.

Speaker A

It is the brilliance of forced perspective.

Speaker A

It is Liberty Squared.

Speaker A

One of my favorite little details, again, things I would do on the audio tours or in person is there's a little doll in the window in one of the house fronts in Liberty Square.

Speaker A

And there's this wonderful little story about why the doll is there.

Speaker A

And it's one of Those things that 99.9% of the guests walk by, but that Disney puts there.

Speaker A

And there is, while it's not written out somewhere, there is a story behind it.

Speaker A

I will say there's one detail that used to bring me joy, that I'm very sad, borderline almost upset.

Speaker A

That is not there anymore.

Speaker A

And I don't know why.

Speaker A

As long as we're going to hang out in Liberty Square.

Speaker A

If you would go to Ye Olde Christmas Shop.

Speaker A

And if you want the entrance in on sort of the.

Speaker A

The Liberty tree side next to the doorway, there used to be a heart, a blue, a light blue, like a powder blue heart shaped sign that said Keppel.

Speaker A

And it was 1787, 1789.

Speaker A

And I loved it, right, because it sort of, it was timely and appropriate for what you might see in a house in the colonial Northeast during that time frame.

Speaker A

And I loved KEPEL because again, 99% of people didn't know what it was, but it was an homage to Keppel.

Speaker A

Disney.

Speaker A

I got to tell the story about the connection to Walt.

Speaker A

It's gone.

Speaker A

And I don't know why.

Speaker A

Like, it's not replaced by anything.

Speaker A

And I'm like, why did somebody take the affirmative step to take that thing away?

Speaker A

Again, 99.999% of guests probably didn't realize that it's gone or noticed it when it was there.

Speaker A

But it's one of those things that, you know, it's like the ex girlfriend.

Speaker A

You don't know what you're missing until it's gone.

Speaker A

And oh my God, let me bring you back.

Speaker A

I miss and love you so much.

Speaker A

I promise I'll be better.

Speaker B

Can I throw in another one really quickly?

Speaker B

Why not for Disneyland?

Speaker B

Walt's apartment.

Speaker B

And looking up at the lamp totally brings me joy.

Speaker B

And there are people who don't know what that means and don't even understand that there's an apartment up there because they're just coming in and enjoying Disneyland for the day.

Speaker B

So I always have that little moment when I walk into Disneyland to kind of look up at that window and just kind of do a quick thank you for giving me this wonderful love and creating this thing that I love so much.

Speaker B

So I think that that's one of my favorite details, too, for Disneyland.

Speaker A

Yeah, I agree.

Speaker A

And I love.

Speaker A

I don't remember what show it was, but we did a show years ago about.

Speaker A

Finding Walt in the parks and all the details and little tributes to Walt Disney.

Speaker A

And I love the fact that those sometimes right in front of your face are there in the windows, super obvious and should be there.

Speaker A

And some of the other ones are a little more obscure and hard to find.

Speaker B

There's windows.

Speaker B

Windows.

Speaker A

That's okay, by the way.

Speaker A

Okay, what is.

Speaker A

This is from Caleb Boss, who says, obviously my Disney Cruise line.

Speaker A

What is your favorite Disney Cruise Line dining room and why?

Speaker B

Wow.

Speaker A

It's simple on its face.

Speaker B

And they're like, well, it's like picking your favorite child.

Speaker B

That's.

Speaker B

That's not.

Speaker A

We all have.

Speaker A

We just don't like to say it out loud.

Speaker A

But deep down, if we do the examination, you do know why one child is your favorite over the others.

Speaker A

I'm only kidding.

Speaker A

Not that I said to listen.

Speaker B

It's fine.

Speaker A

But if you know my kids, don't tell them I said, yeah.

Speaker A

So your favorite dining room and why it doesn't mean.

Speaker A

And I like the way this is framed because it's not about what is quote unquote, the best.

Speaker A

What is your personal favorite and why.

Speaker A

Now, keep in mind, Becky, because I know your mind probably goes, well, we just got off the Treasure with a group trip.

Speaker A

We're getting ready to go on the Destiny again as a group.

Speaker A

Those are.

Speaker A

There's.

Speaker A

There's recency bias there to a certain degree, because we.

Speaker A

But go back and think to the magic and the wonder and think of some of those themed dining rooms and what might be.

Speaker A

And maybe it's not even themed.

Speaker A

Maybe it's just there's a dining room that you like because it's your favorite for one reason or another.

Speaker A

You might say palo, you might say entre.

Speaker A

You might not necessarily say one that is a themed room.

Speaker B

Oh, man.

Speaker B

All right.

Speaker B

This is hard.

Speaker B

And it's not a recency bias for me.

Speaker B

It could be because when you said dining room.

Speaker B

I immediately thought of 1923.

Speaker B

Only because of all the detail in there and all the art and all of the nostalgia, which I really do enjoy from a dining room perspective.

Speaker B

But then I can spin off into Coco.

Speaker B

I love the show, but I also like the way it's set up, and it feels like you're outdoors, and it feels like you're in the middle of the movie.

Speaker B

Those are probably the two that came to mind first.

Speaker B

But there's a lot of great dining opportunities and in wonderfully themed rooms and in places on board any of the ships.

Speaker B

I could keep going.

Speaker B

But I think those are the two that I would say I look forward to most when I sail, just because I like being in that area.

Speaker B

Then again, I can go to the classic Ships and Animators palette because the very first time, when you first walk in there and it's all black and white and you don't really understand what's going on when you first sail, and then all of a sudden everything starts turning into color.

Speaker B

That has a big impact on me too.

Speaker B

And I think especially kids for sure would enjoy that.

Speaker B

Even though it comes from 1998, in 1999, it still has a lot of impact.

Speaker A

I was gonna say, I was like, I'm gonna ruin your answer for you because I'm like, I thought the same thing.

Speaker A

And I went right to Animator's palette.

Speaker B

Did you?

Speaker A

And I went to Animator's palette on the second night on the fantasy when it's the animation and when you sort of get that placemat and you draw your own figure.

Speaker A

Becky.

Speaker A

I remember it like it was yesterday, but it wasn't yesterday.

Speaker A

The first time I.

Speaker A

It was like I saw fire for the very first time.

Speaker A

I'm like, this is.

Speaker A

I'm looking around like, this is sorcery.

Speaker A

How are they doing this?

Speaker A

How are they taking my and the other few hundred people in here and putting our animations not just up on screen, but integrating them with classic Disney cartoons and animation and the music?

Speaker A

I'm like, this is like a perfect moment.

Speaker A

And it has stuck with me to that day.

Speaker A

Wow.

Speaker A

I can't even.

Speaker A

It has nothing to do with the food that's in there, but it had to do with the overall experience.

Speaker A

But I do also love the food at Animators palette because you give me those little truffle pets and that rigatoni Bolognese and, and, and, and.

Speaker A

And that is also a.

Speaker B

No.

Speaker A

I know.

Speaker B

When you're talking about anime, I was talking about the ones on.

Speaker B

On the Magic and the Wonder.

Speaker B

So that's completely different than your answer.

Speaker B

So it's.

Speaker B

It's interesting.

Speaker A

Oh, yeah, yeah, right.

Speaker A

He's not magical.

Speaker A

Yeah.

Speaker B

So, yeah.

Speaker A

Two different.

Speaker B

Yeah.

Speaker A

Two different experiences in restaurants of the same name.

Speaker A

I agree with you too about Plaza de Coco, because again, it's not just the theming and the environment, but the food and the entertainment because it really is a dinner show.

Speaker A

I also feel that Way about Tiana's Place.

Speaker B

Tiana's Place is great.

Speaker B

And I was also thinking Tangled.

Speaker B

That's also a really good experience with a neat theming and great design.

Speaker B

But yeah, you're right on Tiana's Place because you do really feel like you're in the restaurant from the movie.

Speaker A

That's a lot for you.

Speaker B

What?

Speaker A

Lest we forget.

Speaker A

Renny.

Speaker B

Oh, man.

Speaker A

You know, we've done some.

Speaker A

We've done incredible things together, Becky.

Speaker A

And I don't know why, although my recollection of that meal is slightly vague, I do remember it being like, this is one of the best overall dining experiences I have ever had.

Speaker B

That was really good.

Speaker B

Yeah.

Speaker B

The wine pairing helped, I think, throughout the way.

Speaker B

But what was it like, 10 courses and then just when you think you're done, they bring you the.

Speaker B

The Wheel of Cheese.

Speaker B

That was amazing.

Speaker B

That was one of the best meals.

Speaker A

You know what?

Speaker A

We haven't been on the Dreamer fantasy as a group in a long time.

Speaker B

We have not.

Speaker A

You might need to do that.

Speaker A

Just.

Speaker A

We're going to call it the Wheel of Cheese Cruise.

Speaker A

Just for now.

Speaker B

I can taste that cheese.

Speaker B

That was so good.

Speaker B

That was one of the best meals ever, for sure.

Speaker A

I'm famished.

Speaker A

I need to get off.

Speaker A

So fortunately, Nathaniel Brooks.

Speaker A

In response to.

Speaker A

I think I had done a show about.

Speaker A

I don't.

Speaker A

I think it was writing about the Marvel.

Speaker A

Sorry, the.

Speaker A

The museum, the Star Wars Museum, and some of the souvenirs and things that we bring home from the parks.

Speaker A

And had asked a question about something and he said, what is the best Disney souvenir you've ever taken home?

Speaker A

What is the best Disney souvenir you've ever taken home from the parks?

Speaker A

And I think I'm gonna qualify this.

Speaker A

I think this has to be something that you bought yourself, you treated yourself to, and you brought home.

Speaker A

Excuse me, from a Disney Park.

Speaker B

Easy.

Speaker B

And that's hard to say that.

Speaker B

Okay, this one is recency bias, because I just put it on my Christmas tree when my husband and I got married the first year.

Speaker B

Our anniversary is December 6, so it's always decorated for Christmas.

Speaker B

And we went actually with our honeymoon.

Speaker B

Sorry.

Speaker B

We stayed at the Grand Floridian.

Speaker B

And remember, on the Christmas tree on the Grand Floridian, they had those big heart shaped mirrors, the huge ones.

Speaker B

They had in the gift shop, replicas of those mirrors.

Speaker A

I thought you said, remember those things they used to have on the tree?

Speaker A

Well, they don't have them anymore because I stole one.

Speaker A

And here it is.

Speaker B

I took it home no, they had these tiny replicas of those giant mirrors, and I bought two of those, and I have them put them on my Christmas tree every year.

Speaker B

And it still is one of my favorite things that I bought in the parks and brought home, so I could remember that.

Speaker B

That trip every single year when I look at it.

Speaker B

So I would say that that's one of my favorites.

Speaker A

So when I saw this question and I started answering it for myself, one thing quickly came to mind.

Speaker A

I was like, okay, I'm happy I qualified it, because I have things in my office that I've had since I was a kid from times that I went with my parents, but those don't count, because the question was the best Disney souvenir that I've ever taken home.

Speaker A

So I'm going to ask you to close your eyes, because I want you to listen before you see it, because I just pulled it off my shelf.

Speaker A

Becky, close your eyes.

Speaker A

I'm telling you to close your eyes.

Speaker B

It's fine.

Speaker B

It's fine.

Speaker B

Cameras.

Speaker B

Hong kong.

Speaker A

This is the little music box from Mystic Manor in Hong Kong.

Speaker A

Disneyland.

Speaker A

I am not.

Speaker A

I'm not a sweets guy.

Speaker A

I'm not.

Speaker A

I'm also really not a merch guy.

Speaker A

You know, I don't really bring home a lot of souvenirs.

Speaker B

Right.

Speaker A

I instantly fell in love with the attraction, the characters, the storyline, and that music.

Speaker A

This music box, which was, like.

Speaker A

Was like $35.

Speaker A

It's super heavy.

Speaker A

It's beautiful.

Speaker A

Like, it's actually, like, you can put stuff in there.

Speaker B

I remember how excited you were when you found that.

Speaker B

That was like, I have to have this.

Speaker B

I'm gonna have this.

Speaker B

I'm taking this home.

Speaker B

I remember how excited you were.

Speaker B

Like a little kid still.

Speaker A

Look how happy it makes me.

Speaker A

I still am.

Speaker A

I just think it's unique and different and just cool.

Speaker A

And it doesn't.

Speaker A

I love the fact that it doesn't say Mystic Manor on the side.

Speaker A

It doesn't.

Speaker A

You wouldn't know what it's from unless you know what it's from.

Speaker A

And I just sort of dig the whole aesthetic of it and the simplicity of it, too.

Speaker A

Like, I love the fact that it's just a simple music box, because I think there's a little bit of.

Speaker B

It's probably cursed, too.

Speaker B

Just so you know.

Speaker A

It's.

Speaker A

What.

Speaker B

It's.

Speaker B

It's probably cursed.

Speaker B

It's probably cursed because, you know, mystic.

Speaker A

Manner, the yogurt, the frogurt is also cursed.

Speaker A

Yeah, that's.

Speaker A

And I'm.

Speaker A

I'm sure if I looked around, like, I know that I have more, but that's the first thing that came to mind.

Speaker A

I think that's one of the cool.

Speaker A

I definitely want.

Speaker A

I'm going to put this question in the clubhouse and ask people to share the best souvenir that they have ever.

Speaker B

That's a really good one for sure.

Speaker B

Is.

Speaker B

Has there been anything that you regretted not getting?

Speaker A

I know your answer to this question, but it's been fixed.

Speaker A

It has been fixed.

Speaker B

It was very sweet.

Speaker A

There probably is something from Tokyo that I wish I would have gotten.

Speaker A

You know what?

Speaker A

I don't.

Speaker A

I wouldn't have regretted it, but it's.

Speaker A

It.

Speaker A

It's very.

Speaker A

Obviously you can't see it on camera right now because he's off the side.

Speaker A

Something that I got in Tokyo Disneyland that my son bought for me.

Speaker A

He knows I'm a big Baymax fan.

Speaker A

On the last day of our recent trip, our group trip there, he's like, oh, dad, I have to run off to the bathroom.

Speaker A

And he runs off and I'm standing there eating my 17th popcorn of the night.

Speaker A

And he comes back with this massive bag that's as big as he is.

Speaker A

And my son's like 6 foot 17 inches tall.

Speaker A

And he brought back this 4 foot tall plush Baymax, which I never would have bought on my own.

Speaker A

I never would have thought anything like you bought me.

Speaker A

And I still have it right back here.

Speaker A

I don't know if you could see him.

Speaker A

I have my little Baymax in his little red D that you got me from Tokyo.

Speaker B

But he's travel size for your convenience.

Speaker A

This was not.

Speaker A

I had to walk around.

Speaker A

You should have seen me in line for 20,000 leagues.

Speaker A

No, for I was in line for A journey to the center of the earth with this huge bag and this giant Baymax that I was hugging.

Speaker A

Which is not weird in Japan because I was not the only person.

Speaker A

But it's super meaningful to me because.

Speaker B

How did you get that home?

Speaker A

What?

Speaker B

How did you get that home?

Speaker A

I had to buy another like, bag.

Speaker B

Okay, so you didn't like, buy a seat?

Speaker A

I had to go to.

Speaker A

Where did I go to get it?

Speaker A

Oh, right.

Speaker A

Because we stayed.

Speaker A

I had to go to Don Quixote and I had to buy the largest duffel bag that they had.

Speaker A

It which looked almost like a coffin and sort of, kind of was.

Speaker A

Because I just like laid Baymax in there.

Speaker B

Poor Baymax.

Speaker A

Poor Baymax.

Speaker A

But he's hanging out and.

Speaker A

And he's my buddy and he's huggable.

Speaker B

That's cool.

Speaker B

Okay.

Speaker A

All right.

Speaker A

All right.

Speaker A

A couple more questions before we go.

Speaker A

Let me see.

Speaker A

Okay, hold on.

Speaker A

You know what?

Speaker A

I actually asked screening now earlier today.

Speaker A

I asked, I went into the WW Nation group, we have a private group on Facebook.

Speaker A

And I asked them if they had any questions that they might want to have answered on a show.

Speaker A

And I think this one.

Speaker A

Oh no, there's a couple of really good ones in here.

Speaker A

Okay, this, the first one comes.

Speaker A

This is perfect for Becky, this one.

Speaker A

It's from Erica Manning and she says, what are your favorite non park spots for an appetizer or drink crawl?

Speaker B

Oh, well, the obvious one is the monorail loop because nobody's driving.

Speaker B

That's kind of smart.

Speaker B

Come on.

Speaker B

Because then you go to the three different resorts and there's all kinds of great places to have a cocktail and an appetizer around the monorail loop.

Speaker B

So I think, think that would be one.

Speaker B

The other Disney Springs is a, is a.

Speaker A

Yeah.

Speaker A

I don't know if there's number one.

Speaker B

Or number two, but.

Speaker A

Because no, there's.

Speaker A

There is the, because there's the holy trinity of.

Speaker A

And it's in Disney Springs.

Speaker B

Ah, well, I said Disney Springs.

Speaker A

It is the boathouse.

Speaker A

Yeah, it is.

Speaker B

You'd have to include Chuck Lindsay's.

Speaker A

I wasn't even.

Speaker A

I said Trinity.

Speaker A

So.

Speaker A

But listen, it's, it's the boathouse.

Speaker A

Well, all right, I guess you could.

Speaker A

It's the whole holy quadrilogy.

Speaker A

No, it's a holy quintipilly because it's the boat.

Speaker A

I would go to the boathouse I would go to.

Speaker A

And I'm assuming that I'm going to have both an appetizer and potentially a drink.

Speaker A

Even though I'm not a big drinker.

Speaker A

I'm certainly not going to drive home at this point.

Speaker A

I'm going to go to the boathouse.

Speaker A

I'm going to go to Wine Bar George and get those little Mac and cheese bites and maybe like a nice glass of wine recommended by Master Sommelier George.

Speaker A

I would also go to homecoming.

Speaker A

I would also go to the outside street food at Morimoto Asia and get.

Speaker A

I, I just ate there a few weeks ago by myself.

Speaker A

It was lovely.

Speaker A

I had such a wonderful like date night by myself.

Speaker A

I had so much to unpack.

Speaker B

There's so much done.

Speaker A

Oh, and like this little sake infused beverage.

Speaker A

And you can also go to Jock Lindsay's.

Speaker A

So one, two.

Speaker A

Did I miss one?

Speaker A

Boathouse Wine Bar George.

Speaker A

And they're all like right within like five steps of each other.

Speaker A

Boathouse Wine Bar George.

Speaker A

Homecoming, Morimoto and Jacqueline's it's like, it's like the whole that little circle is like the holy ground.

Speaker B

I think we need to test that because, you know, I'm not sure I've done the monorail loop, so I think we need to do the Disney Springs loop just to see how it compares.

Speaker A

Girl, I am all in.

Speaker A

You just pick the day or night and the Uber home and I am setting it.

Speaker B

That's a really good question.

Speaker B

Well done.

Speaker A

That's a really good question.

Speaker B

Well done, man.

Speaker A

You know what, Erica?

Speaker A

We'll have that be the final question and ask and look, I want to hear your answer to any and all of these questions.

Speaker A

What are your favorite non park non park spots for an appetizer drink or crawl?

Speaker A

I'll also post the other questions in the clubhouse as well about the destiny over the classic ships.

Speaker A

One thing Disney should bring back, one thing that you think is a criminally underrated experience.

Speaker A

A little detail in the park that brings you joy.

Speaker A

Your favorite Disney cruise line dining room and Y and the best souvenir you've ever taken home.

Speaker A

Becky, I think we got through.

Speaker A

I think that's like eight, nine questions.

Speaker A

I expected to get through so many more.

Speaker A

And aren't you glad that I cut out all of the other not fluff but all of the other parts of the questions because we probably would have gotten to a lot less.

Speaker B

Yes, but no because I I love hearing the stories that people write in.

Speaker B

They do include a lot of personal details and things that made them happy and I love hearing those too.

Speaker B

So while this was great for efficiency, I just think we need more email shows.

Speaker B

FYI.

Speaker B

Just like you more chicken tenders, I'm more email shows.

Speaker A

Stop writing in other your fake accounts like oh, my name is Becky with a Y. I think Becky should be on more email shows.

Speaker A

My name is Becko.

Speaker A

I think Becky should be on more emails.

Speaker A

I'm starting to see through it and we will make but I think we should do an email show together in person.

Speaker A

But it has to be wait, don't say yes just yet.

Speaker A

It's mine's going to cost you a little bit.

Speaker A

It has to be in some exotic Disney destination.

Speaker A

By exotic I mean not Walt Disney World World.

Speaker A

Not a problem cruise.

Speaker A

It's got to be overseas.

Speaker A

It's got to be in Disneyland.

Speaker B

Have you seen our schedule yet?

Speaker B

Have you really paid attention?

Speaker B

This is not going to be a hard thing to meet.

Speaker B

How many email shows is Singapore worth?

Speaker A

FYI, I'm going to basically sell my house at this point because I don't Think I need it anymore.

Speaker A

I just need a travel size bag and my Baymax and my music box and this thermos and I see Martin.

Speaker B

All I need.

Speaker A

I always love doing these with you.

Speaker A

Not just because it's a chance for us to get together and talk about some of the things that we love and you share some of the things that you and all of your advisors are expert in.

Speaker A

But I love the fact I've always wanted, since the very beginning, you, my friend, our friend, the listener, the community, to not just be a passive like observer and listener to the show, but really be a part of it and help sort of guide where it goes and what we talk about.

Speaker A

And I think that's one of the things that I love about the email show and hopefully it helps other people have a better vacation as well.

Speaker A

When you're ready to book your vacation, not so subtle plug coming your way.

Speaker A

Go and visit Becky and her team over@m MouseFanTravel.com Absolutely.

Speaker B

We are here to help you.

Speaker B

Not only for your Disney, we do everything, but around Disney as well.

Speaker B

We can do pre or post cruise, we can take care of any of your vacation planning needs.

Speaker B

We also have a book Cruise engine called bookmeicruise.com where you can go in, you can hold your Disney cruise, you can pick whatever you want to do in terms of your cabin, but then you have our backing to help you to make sure you've got the best rate, the best deal, and our help.

Speaker B

And it's all fee free.

Speaker B

We charge no service fees for our services.

Speaker A

It's very dangerous, Becky, because I find myself sometimes, like late at night being sad and hungry for chicken tenders.

Speaker A

And I'll go on and I'll just start comparing rates.

Speaker A

And if there literally was like a buy it now, book it now button, I would be in serious trouble if there was like, no, yeah, there is.

Speaker B

A buy it now, book it now.

Speaker B

You can book it right there.

Speaker B

You can actually just hold it if you want to and then call me and say, is it okay?

Speaker B

Do you think it's all right if I do 17 cruises in August?

Speaker B

I'm gonna say, absolutely, because I am the chief enabler of your vacation experience.

Speaker B

So let's do this thing.

Speaker B

You're the one that comes up with these crazy ideas like, yeah, we need to do three weeks worth of back to back to back cruises.

Speaker B

I'm like, hey, I'm all in.

Speaker B

Let's do it.

Speaker A

I have never heard you be like, no, you know, we shouldn't do that.

Speaker B

I have never Said that.

Speaker B

But usually you've already made up your mind by the time you come to me, it's like, okay, I have an idea.

Speaker B

Which always scares the bejesus out of me because that either means I'm probably not going to see my home for two months or we're going to be.

Speaker A

Paying attention on Wednesday night's show.

Speaker A

And my cruise idea.

Speaker B

Yeah, which one?

Speaker B

There was like 17 of them.

Speaker A

Well, that's, that's the whole idea that we should do like 17 cruises.

Speaker A

We'll talk more.

Speaker A

And listen, I. I was just thinking too, as we were talking about the best dining on Disney Cruise Line.

Speaker A

We're gonna have to revisit this answer because we're going on the adventure early next year.

Speaker B

Yes.

Speaker A

Which has like 47 restaurants in it.

Speaker A

And I think that's why we have.

Speaker B

To do a back to back just to make sure that we do the main ones because.

Speaker B

Because there's like seven of them that we have to do.

Speaker B

Over seven.

Speaker B

There's going to be a lot of.

Speaker A

Eating involved because we only have Grandma Tala's kitchen.

Speaker A

I am.

Speaker A

Man, I hope Singapore has a wide selection of stretchy pants.

Speaker B

I wonder how their chicken tenders will be.

Speaker A

Oh my gosh.

Speaker A

Sweating.

Speaker A

Almost passed out.

Speaker B

I don't know what it is about you.

Speaker B

Was there like a thing when you were a kid about chicken tenders?

Speaker B

Did you not have when you were a child?

Speaker A

Look, there's something comforting about them and I don't know what it is about them on Disney Cruise Line.

Speaker A

Like when I'm in Walt Disney World, I'm not ordering chicken tenders like a lunatic every time I go out.

Speaker A

Far from.

Speaker A

But there is something about that late night chicken tender in my stateroom by myself.

Speaker A

The big hero 6 on in the back background that just brings me such like unbridled joy.

Speaker B

It's.

Speaker B

It's the little things in life.

Speaker B

Little things like chicken tenders.

Speaker B

Chicky tenders.

Speaker B

Grogu can't be.

Speaker A

Thank you as always.

Speaker B

Well, thanks for having me and hopefully we can do this again real soon.

Speaker A

Oh, I still have about 4, 000 other questions to get to.

Speaker A

And by the way, if you have a question that you want us to answer on the show, you can include all your backstory.

Speaker A

Anything that you want to share, just email me Lou dwradio.com Grogu can't be wrong.

Speaker A

I don't even know what that means.

Speaker B

Chicky tenders.

Speaker B

Hello.

Speaker A

Do you not ever said cheeky tenders?

Speaker A

I don't think any line of the Mandalorian was like Chicky Tenders.

Speaker A

That's just your I'm sure it's there somewhere.

Speaker B

It's got a.

Speaker A

It's time to test your knowledge of Disney trivia history, secrets and stories with our Walt Disney World Trivia Question of the Week.

Speaker A

If you think you know the answer, you can enter for a chance to win a Disney Prize package.

Speaker A

This week's trivia contest is once again brought to you by our friends over at the Walt Disney World, Swan and Dolphin, who every year transform the holidays into something truly magical.

Speaker A

It is one of my favorite places around property to visit and this year the resorts are filled with festive experiences for the entire family including meet and greets with Santa, Mrs. Claus, the little Elf Candy Cane.

Speaker A

There's all kinds of special holiday entertainment and the incredible dancing lights spectacular that brings the Causeway to life each night.

Speaker A

With music and light lights.

Speaker A

You can bring the kids over to the Elves Magical Workshop.

Speaker A

They can create ornaments, decorate cookies and craft their own holiday keepsakes.

Speaker A

And if you want to bring the holiday spirit into your room at the Swan and Dolphin, which still has the most comfortable beds on property, you can let the elves deck the halls with a full in room decor package.

Speaker A

And if you or your kids are sad like oh we don't have a Christmas tree, they can even bring in a pre lit tree for you as well.

Speaker A

Plus you get easy access to all the theme parks.

Speaker A

It really is the perfect home base for your holiday visit.

Speaker A

You can explore the full schedule of events or book your stay over at Santa's favorite resort.com or through our friends over at MouseFan Travel.

Speaker A

Now before we get to this week's trivia contest, let's go back review last week's and select our winner.

Speaker A

So we were talking about dining at Walt Disney World, so I thought we would talk about dining in the trivia contest and I asked you to tell me what is the only dining restaurant in Walt Disney World that moves.

Speaker A

Thanks to many of you who answered.

Speaker A

Some of you got it wrong, but at least were having fun and got creative.

Speaker A

But the answer I was looking for is the Garden Grill in Epcot.

Speaker A

It is the only restaurant that physically rotates as it slowly turns throughout your meal, giving you changing views of living with the land.

Speaker A

You get to see the rainforest and the farmhouse and the farmhouse kitchen scenes and you get like a full rotation about once per hour.

Speaker A

So I took all the correct entries randomly selected one.

Speaker A

Last week you were playing for a WWE keychain stickers pin and a mystery prize.

Speaker A

And last week's winner randomly selected is Stephanie Abbott.

Speaker A

So Stephanie, congratulations.

Speaker A

Your prize package is already on the way.

Speaker A

And if you played last week and didn't win, that's okay because here's your next chance to enter in this week's Walt Disney World Trivia Challenge.

Speaker A

So in the listener email segment we were talking about the Keppel Disney details from Liberty Square and Ye Olde Christmas Shop, which is one shop that is actually within three different building facades and at one time these were actually three separate and distinct stores.

Speaker A

So tell me, what were the three stores that once made up the space occupied by Ye Olde Christmas Shop?

Speaker A

You can give me the store name or even just what they sold.

Speaker A

And if you go to www.radio.com, click on this week's podcast, use the form there and enter before Sunday, December 14th at 11:59pm Eastern and you get it right, you'll be entered to win a prize package that once again includes the keychain, the stickers, the pin, and yet another mystery prize.

Speaker A

So good luck and have fun.

Speaker A

That is going to do it for this week's show.

Speaker A

Thank you again for listening and being part of the WWW family.

Speaker A

I am so grateful to and for you especially now.

Speaker A

I know that this time of year starts to get very hectic, very chaotic and oftentimes very stressful.

Speaker A

And the fact that you spend and share your time with me means a lot.

Speaker A

I hope that the show makes you laugh, it brings you value and it is a distraction from some of the other stresses and chaos of the real world and everyday life.

Speaker A

I hope it brings you some joy.

Speaker A

I hope you feel better because of it and if you do, please just pay it forward, share it with a friend and find out how you can get even more and help the show for as little as a dollar a month by becoming a member of the WDW Radio Nation over at www.comsupport.

Speaker A

but until next time again, thank you for being here.

Speaker A

Don't forget to it to choose the good, be the good, set an example for others and have an amazing week.

Speaker A

So until next time, see ya.

Speaker A

Well, it sounds pretty good.

Speaker A

In fact, that's just the right spirit.
