Hello podcast F all right. We're diving into two really cool topics today. And they really work hand in hand. I was gonna do one episode on this first topic, and then I was gonna do a second episode, and I was like, you know what? They really just worked together. So we're gonna dive into both of them today. And there are two things that. Especially as of lately, I've been just like inserting into my own brand and really working deeply with my clients on and just something that I've really been teaching my clients for years. But I think oftentimes we forget because as entrepreneurs, you know, we can get in our heads, we can get in our own way. Um, and especially when we've got really big goals, sometimes we can get really analytical. Sometimes we can. Overthink things and something I heard actually I was on the Peloton yesterday and it's really applicable to today's topic is the less, you think the better the outcome. And I'm like, Ooh, I've never heard true words whenever I think back to like my highest cash month and when things just feel so easy, you know, oftentimes they feel really easy in my world. You know, I'm a big proponent and believer of less is more when you do more of the right things, but I'm never gonna sugarcoat and say businesses easy all the time. Or I feel. On fire and my best all the time. We're human. Right? So I'm never gonna sugarcoat that. I go through the same things you guys go through. Um, of course we all experience and feel things differently. I understand that. And I'm not gonna sit here and sugarcoat that either because we have different circumstances and different privileges and different experiences at different times in our lives and different upbringings and things that we've gone through. I know that that's all different and relative, um, and individual. Right. But when I heard that of, unless you think the better the outcome, I'm like, yes, please. And it's just so true. You know, anytime things felt like they were super, super easy. I wasn't overthinking. And I noticed that with my client. Um, and I reflect that to them when they'll, they'll look back and be like, yeah, but this one month was like, so epic. And like, what was I doing differently? And I'm like, you were giving less, fuck you. Weren't overthinking you. Weren't driving yourself crazy and analyzing every single thing that you are doing. And you were owning your shit and they're like, yeah, you're right. And that's where today's topic really comes into play of these two proponents of owning it. And I'm gonna dive into that and what that looks like and what I mean when I say that, giving less fucks and playing like it's working. Um, so there's really three proponents. I lied. um, as I'm sitting here, you guys know this, um, I show up to each podcast episode just to give you guys like a behind the scenes with like minimal notes of like just little topics I'm gonna talk about. And the, this last one, this third one just came through with like, no, Michelle, talk about this too. So I always trust the divine. Timing of podcasts. I always trust whatever drops is exactly what you need to hear, even as I'm just riffing here on this episode, live with you today. So. Let's dive in. So owning it. What I mean when I say that and how I teach this to my clients is you create how people think of you. You create how people see you in a brand. And I think that we don't realize that when it comes to marketing, when it comes to having a brand, when it comes to showing up online, I think so often we. Over to the consumer. We turn it over to the potential clients. We turn it over to the market and we're like, they're gonna see us, however, they're gonna see us. And I don't believe that that's true. I think we have way more control than we give ourselves credit for. Yeah, sure. Will people view us? Judge us love us. Hate us. Yeah, that's gonna happen. I, we can't control that, but what you can control is how they think of. Whether they love you or hate you. And what I mean by that is we create the buzz that people. that the buzz that we want people to think about us. Okay. I'm gonna give you an example because you might be like Michelle, what the, what the fudge are you talking about? give me more. Think about anyone that you look up to in the online space. Think about any business owners that maybe you admire or you're like, they're just fucking killing it. They're so good at what they do. They're the best at this thing. Like they've just mastered this, whatever it might be, whatever it is. Think about the things that you think about them. Want to do this for a moment, you can even write this down, get one person in your mind. And like, what are the things that you think about them? They're good at this and they're good at this, and they're good at this. And they're good at this. That's what we do. When we think about people that we, um, look up to or that we admire or that we hire, like whatever it might be. What are the things that you think about them could even be me, could even be one of your mentors right now. What are things that you naturally think that they're good at? What are things that you naturally know about them when it comes to like business or like what they do. Okay. The reason that your mind does that, whether you love this person or hate this person, or kinda like this person, it doesn't matter. Your mind will naturally think they're good at, or they're the best at whatever they told you. they were the best at or whatever they told you they were good at. Do you see where we're getting with this? If you want someone to believe or think you are the best emotional trauma coach out there that starts with you telling me that you. it doesn't have to be in those exact words of I'm the best at this. That probably doesn't feel good but what will probably feel good is consistently sharing how good you are at the work that you do, sharing how good your clients are and the results that they're getting when they come into your world and owning, like, it could be as simple as this is the work that we do in my world. And it's so transformational because I'm so good at working with clients through X, Y, and. And when you do that repeatedly, naturally from a consumer standpoint, from a viewer standpoint, I believe you. There's no reason for me not to believe you. We're not lying. We're not making shit up. That's not what I'm talking about. You're telling the truth, but you're owning it. And when you do that, I start to believe you. And then I start the more I see it. And the more I hear it, I'm like, oh, she's the best at. and I wanna give you guys an example of this. We had, as I'm recording this, we had Khan's 40th birthday party yesterday. I cannot believe that man is 40. Disclaimer, I'm only 32 I said to him, I was like, I don't ever think I'm 42. Um, we have a pretty big age gap, um, which is cool because we love it. And it's always worked for us, but we just celebrated his 40th birthday yesterday. And one of Khan's, uh, best friends was here. He's not in our industry. He works in medical sales and he follows me on Instagram. And so he has a really good idea of what I do in my. And, you know, we were talking and I was telling him, you know, I've been really diving into marketing and messaging and simplifying my business over the last year and a half, two years. And it's just exploded, like things that we're doing and teaching like no one's teaching. And I just, I can see it with my client's results. I can see it with my own business. And it just we've really mastered my half moon method, which is my scaling method. And we've really master. Messaging and marketing on the simplest, easiest, most fun level. Um, and, and it's incredible to just be teaching this and see what's coming from this. And he's like, yeah, I've really seen like your message of, I've seen it shift of like less is more when you do more of the right things. He's like, I, you know, I enjoy seeing that and I really can see that that's a big part of your brand and I'm sharing this with you because he's not even in our space. Okay. He just watches my. And he now, since I talk about it so often, and I own that, I'm really good at that. And that's something that I've mastered in my own business, in Brandon with my clients, they're like living their lives and they're like, Michelle, I have so much free time. What should I be doing? we're like, maybe should we take up crafts, crocheting? Should we travel more? Like, that's the vibe and they're making more money. Right? He's like, I've seen that. And like, that's really cool. And he knows now that he, he believes from seeing that, that I'm an expert in. and that's where I want to teach this to you. Of you create how we see you. It's not the other way around. And so if you want to be the, in the best intuitive eating coach out there, there, or, um, the best marketing coach or sales coach or scaling coach, or, or mentor, whatever, it might be, whatever you wanna be known. you create that it starts with you and those people that you admire look up to hire, whatever it might be. You hire them or you consume their content or you purchase their master classes because you believe they're the expert in it. And you believe they're the expert because they told you that they were over and over and over again, they showed you. They embodied it, they lived it. They breathed it breath. Not sure if that's a word, breathe. It one of you, the listening here can let me know on Instagram message. You could talk about that word. Um, but with this, you get to create this inside of your own brand. And it's really, really powerful. And this is applicable at any level. I don't care how much money you're making. If you're making $0, you're making multiple six figures. You're you're on seven figures. The more that we can do this and highlight. the more things we'll sell simply. You don't need to convince me because I've already seen it. You lived it, you breathed it, you embodied it. You showed me over and over and over again. Right. And I believe you. So that's number one, owning it. I invite you to do this literally all the time. This will transform your businesses as something that we do. And we, when we were selling the art of chill sales masterclass, which was probably hands down the best masterclass I've ever run up into the state, and I've done a lot of master classes, not a lot this past year, but I've done a lot in the past. And this was our best masterclass. Like the results that the women are seeing. Incredible from just one and a half hours of teaching this. I taught this stuff on the deepest level. Less is more when you do more of the right things, you know, like we, we really taught this and it was so beautiful to see what was happening for these women post masterclass. If you were to look at the marketing for that masterclass, I just kept owning and sharing. Like I'm the best at the art of chill sales. And I also embody that in the way in which I. a lot. I get told every day, Michelle, I love how you sell. Can you teach me? Because I'm not on my stories all day, every day with my face to camera being, you need to buy my offer. And it's your best thing ever. Like it's just not my vibe. I'm like normally sitting on the couch, posting a slide, watching new girl, and I'm like, Hey, you can buy my offer. Like this is the best thing ever get inside. and like people buy it's chill. It's physically chill. It's mentally chill. I'm not checking my phone obsessively. I'm like living my life. and I make money every single day for a couple of reasons. It's not just the way I sell. It's also how we set up the business. Right? They go, they it's twofold. And I did talk about that in that masterclass. But if you were to look at that marketing, it's very intentional with how we were owning it. And now a big part of our brand just from running this masterclass is chill sales, and that's on purpose. That's a big part of my brand. I want to bring that to life even more because I, I like believe. In chill businesses. That's like something that has served me highly transforming my business out of the launch to launch mode. And like, this is a vibe, this is a business. This is a big part of the brand now. And we're gonna own that. You see that. And so whatever you wanna be known for own it, it starts with you not the other way around you. Can't say it one time and then expect us to believe you. That's not how it works. Next point, given less fudge cakes. In simpler terms, giving less fuck you guys know me? I curse, but like, I always usually warn you when I curse. I don't curse a ton. It depends on my, uh, it depends on my mood, honestly. Um, but giving less fucks that's something that I know is hard to do at the end of the day, because we care. We care about our businesses. We care about people care about our brands. Um, and we're humans to our very core at the end of the day, we're human. Right. But giving less fudge cake. This is something that you've probably heard quite a bit of people talk about in the industry. I know I've seen content on it. Um, I don't really create content on this, but the reason that this was applicable for this episode is because in my client's businesses, in my business, this is something that just. Especially once con had his heart surgery back in July, going through that experience and the things like I physically had to do as his caretaker and the way in which like my life, our lives just shifted so quickly. And what happened on a personal level, which in relation to the business was I just like couldn't care. About the little things that I used to care about. Like I physically and mentally did not have the bandwidth. And I'm a big believer that that experience happened for us. It happened for me. I think I needed to go through something like that, even though like, I wish we didn't. I think I needed to live something as hard as that experience to get to this place of like, I just don't care. And what I mean by that, it's not that I don't care about goals. It's not that I don't care about people. It's not that I don't care about money. It's not that, but I just didn't have the physical or mental bandwidth to worry. To worry if I was gonna piss people off to worry if it was going to work out to worry and make up all the stupid stories that our crazy minds make up and the process of growing, right. I was just in this season where I mentally and physically did not have the capacity to care. And what happened, the brand and the business. Grew much in that time. And it's something that I can see now in retrospect of looking at, huh? The less I cared and similar to what we were talking about in the beginning of this episode, the less I thought and overthought, the more things worked in my favor, right? More things worked out the way I wanted them to. And I'm sharing this with you because literally. like the art of giving less fuck will transform your life in your business. And so what does this look like? How can you do this? Something that we've really been playing with inside of the business? And it's been so fun, like I will only share and post, like if it lights me up, I'm a generator. So that's like in human design, those of you that are into that, you'll know what I'm talking about. Those of you that aren't that's okay. You may get into it and if not, that's cool too. Um, I'm a generator. And so the way in which I operate is like, if it does not light me up or excite me, it's not gonna work, it's not gonna work. So I don't do things just to do that. And that's just not a part of my brand. It's not a part of who I am. It's just, it's not how I live my life. It's not how I run my business. And so anytime we share things or put things out there it's very intentional. Um, but also it's like, I'm obsessed with it and it lights me up and I don't care. If not everyone agrees, I don't care if people are gonna judge me. I don't care if people want to unfollow me. I don't care if people question me, I just have gotten to this point where I, I don't care. And it doesn't mean I don't care about my community. I love you guys. Like I am obsessed with you. You guys are like helping me plan my wedding right now. And I like, I love this community. My podcast fam my Instagram, like you guys know I'm obsessed with. I love you. But what I mean by this is like, I don't filter myself. It's real. I share it all the good, the bad, the ugly, how I change Khan's catheter. Throughout this process, I'm gonna share you stuff with you. Something, I don't think I put this on Instagram. Maybe I did, like, I had a wipe counts butt in July. Like what? That is like true love. I, we did things that we never thought we'd do. Like at 32, I did not imagine this was gonna be our, that, uh, something that happened in our lives you know, but like he had heart surgery and he couldn't move, you know? And that's what you do as a partner, as being his future wife. It just a lot of things. I didn't think I'd do. and like, that's where I just was like, I don't care. And I wanna invite you to play in that because it's really freeing number one, but two, your business will grow exponentially because we'll be able to see the real you, and more than ever. We are so magnetized to truth and honesty and realness and authenticity and just human connection. and when I can like, see you in like all of you and you put that in your content and you put that in your stories, it is so magnetic. It is so magnetic and something. I wanna see the real raw you. because I'm gonna, I'm gonna be magnetized to that. So giving less fucks number one is owning it. Number two is giving less fucks and just kind of playing with like, how can I care a little less? What would I say if I couldn't fuck it up? What would I do if I couldn't fuck it up? Those are two questions. I invite you to journal on. Maybe write about that every day before you show up online, what would I do today? If I wasn't worried about being judged, what would I do? If I didn't care today? What would you. It's probably very different than like, what's the perfect thing I could say today. Or how could I show up and glorify my life? I wanna see the realness. I don't wanna see it. Sugar coated. I wanna see it because we'll be magnetized to that. We're gonna connect to that. I wanna see it all. And the last thing, number three that we added on as we were recording play, like it's working, I have clients that tag me in this now and your pilot, those of you that haven't been in my world, or like in a training or anything like that, um, might be like, what does that mean? What I want to invite you to do? Oftentimes we don't show up in our full power. Until it's working, I'll show up and do this when the first person buys for my offer. I'll show up and own this program when people buy. Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah. I want to invite you to play like it's working before it's actually working play like it's working before. It's actually. I'm gonna give you an example of this. We created a new mastermind, the audacious mastermind. You are the first people to hear that name besides the women that are inside of that program. It's starting in October. It's a completely new mastermind, all on sales and marketing, and it's like, it's gonna be so dreamy and I'm so excited about it. It's not replacing the fierce mastermind. I keep getting asked about that. No, we are. We've. We're in a place where two masterminds is just applicable and needed in the business for different levels of clients. And it's really exciting and things are just moving and growing, and it's incredible. And allowing me to serve more of you, um, in the intimate capacity that you desire, um, but also giving you the best place that's going to serve you the best as far as which container would be best. when we came up with that mastermind, I am, as I mentioned a generator. So I'm somebody that if I have an idea, I run with it and I had the idea, the nudge, and I like sneak, peeked it on a Sunday and was like, Ooh, I'm so excited. Like something's coming. And what happened was so many women DMed us. We had so many DMS come through and then we got a lot of people that left us on red. I'm gonna share the truth with you guys. Always, we had a lot of people that left us on. and like at first my mind was like, Ooh, okay. Like, this feels really good. We had a lot of women reach out, but then like we had a lot of people thinking about it and I'm all for giving people time to think. I'm somebody that thinks with investments as well. So I'm here for it. If you've bought for me, you know, that like, I will give you space to think about it. Um, and I know that you need space cuz I need space to think. And immediately my mind wanted to retrieve and be like, no, no, no, no, no, no. Don't do it. Don't do it. Sell something else, sell something. So don't even talk about it. and then there's this other side of me that was like, fudge, that we're gonna go play like it's working. And that's what we did for the next five days. I was like, I can do that for five days. I can play like it's working. And what happened was literally an insane, we had women, so many women, every time we posted about this mastermind, my DMS blew up and mind you, we used the same. every time I shared about this mastermind, I used the same exact slide with the same exact text. And it worked every time. That's a different story that I taught that in the art of chill sales of like simple marketing, like how to create that for yourself. It was really, it was really incredible. Like we are just mastering simplified sales on like the deepest level, but every time I share that side, my DMS. and women joined and women joined and women were paying in full and women were joining other things. Women were joining the fierce mastermind and I wasn't even promoting the fierce mastermind. Women were joining the masterclass. Women were inquiring about one to one. Like there were so many things happening in the miss of me just playing, like it's working for the audacious mastermind. And I, all I did was commit to five days. I was like, I could do this for five days and play like it's working. We're gonna see what happens. But naturally my subconscious, my fear based part of. wanna just retreat and crawl on a hole and be like, no, don't go for it. Cause people left you on red and that's where playing, like it's working play like it's working. And what can you commit to two days, five days, two weeks. I wanna invite you to do this, what we do. And I share this inside of money mastery a couple weeks ago. What we do is we react and we do things based on outside circum. All the time and then we don't get the outcome that we desire because normally we're acting from fear or we're acting from this is what's happened. Therefore I'm not going to play like it's working. I'm not gonna do it like it's working or I'm just gonna retreat and get scared. And I'm gonna go into the next thing and I'm gonna get squirrly and I'm not gonna commit to it, whatever it might be play like it working. Kind of piggybacking off, up to this first topic of owning it. Like it's up to you, it's up to you to sell the thing. It's up to you to play. Like it's working, it's up to you to own it. It's up to you to give less fuck if people left you on red or not. Cause it literally means nothing. If someone leaves you on red, it means nothing about the outcome of your sales for that month. For that day, for that week. For this year, it means nothing. But we make it mean everything sometimes. so it's what I wanna invite you to combine all of this. I want you to own it. Number one, I wanna give you the permission to give less fudge cakes, give less fucks. Number three, play like it's working. This will all work in your favor. I promise you this. I literally I've done this time and time and time again in my business, in my client's businesses, it works. So I were having this conversation today. I love you.
