The Storm Prediction center maintains a marginal risk for isolated damaging wind and a brief tornado.

In the west, an early season cold snap prompts freeze warnings across parts of coastal and inland California, southern Nevada and portions of Arizona's lower deserts.

Alaska Winter storm warnings remain posted for parts of western Alaska including the Yukon Kuskokwim Delta coast today with snow, blowing snow and hazardous travel in open areas.
