What up, y'?
Speaker AAll?
Speaker BThis is Emily and I'm Lisa.
Speaker BWe are the conscious collaboration.
Speaker AThumbs up.
Speaker BThat was the cheesiest thumbs up I could muster.
Speaker AI wish I could see it.
Speaker AI can't wait Till we're on YouTube.
Speaker BYes, it's coming.
Speaker BYes, growth is.
Speaker BIs happening.
Speaker BEverything is all about growth and expansion now.
Speaker BSo new things on the horizon.
Speaker ABe able to upload all these video.
Speaker AWe got the videos.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker BWe have so many.
Speaker BMy assistant is going to be busy.
Speaker AI don't know why.
Speaker BIt's just a mental block that I have to, like, get things done.
Speaker BI think.
Speaker BIt'S coming.
Speaker AYeah, yeah.
Speaker BYeah.
Speaker BAnd.
Speaker BAnd you guys will appreciate us even more when you can see these videos.
Speaker BBut in the spirit of collaboration and winging it.
Speaker AThe dark side of collaboration.
Speaker BOh, yeah.
Speaker BWell, not.
Speaker BNot.
Speaker BYeah.
Speaker BNot to get too dark, but just.
Speaker BYeah.
Speaker BI mean, I've been reflecting a lot, you know, as we're growing and expanding and in the podcast and, you know, certainly seeing it in our friends and our circles and our collaborations, it just as we near the close of this solar year, it's reflecting on just some of the lessons, and we've had a lot of tough lessons this year on various levels.
Speaker BPersonally, professionally.
Speaker BGlobally, everything.
Speaker BSo, yeah, I mean, I think.
Speaker BI think I'm getting kind of reflective in that way, but, you know, I have so much gratitude.
Speaker BLike, I really feel that.
Speaker BSo much gratitude in our community and in our circle about these beautiful collaborations that we formed.
Speaker BAnd we, you know, can celebrate, for example, like Felicia McCaskill, one of our recent guests, you know, making a connection with someone through the podcast, and that's awesome and amazing.
Speaker BYeah, and I think it's.
Speaker BIt feels good to be able to celebrate those that you're on a path and journey with and celebrate them on accomplishments like, you know, that goes back to whole planting the karma seeds thing.
Speaker BYou know, when you're able to do that, it's, you know, it helps growth within yourself, but then also recognizing that we've also been through and as I said in the last episode, you know, a period of challenges.
Speaker BAnd, you know, I'm seeing it here locally in the Tampa Bay area.
Speaker BThere's a lot of lack.
Speaker BYou know, prices are going up, and people are operating on lack and scarcity, and they're scared.
Speaker BAnd I don't know who said it to me.
Speaker BI mean, honestly, I think it was in a conversation with you or with Kevin.
Speaker BWe were talking about, like, one of the most dangerous people is.
Speaker BIs somebody that's operating in.
Speaker BIn a place of of luck because, you know.
Speaker BYeah, yeah, scrappy in a potentially.
Speaker BYeah, like scrounging in a potentially.
Speaker BBad way for themselves and for people around them and you know, it's got that like Hunger Games vibe, you know, everybody in it for themselves to survive.
Speaker BAnd I feel so bad.
Speaker BYou know, I see a lot of like people being so kind and generous and providing meals and, and clothing and donations and I love that people are setting up tables in their front yard to feed neighbors and, and things like that.
Speaker BBut I've also seen a lot of people getting taken advantage of and a lot of scamminess.
Speaker BA lot of like, you know, not genuine collaboration.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker BWhat?
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker AA thousand percent.
Speaker AAnd I think, you know.
Speaker AObviously we are very generally pro collaboration.
Speaker AAbsolutely.
Speaker AI hope that doesn't need to be said being that the name of our podcast.
Speaker AMajor theme of it and as illustrated by like Felicia McCaskill getting, you know, her speaking opportunity.
Speaker ALike this is exactly the type of thing that collaboration is for.
Speaker AThat said.
Speaker AWe, we have to be aware of the, I mean dangers seems like a little dramatic of a word, but the negative things that can make their way in.
Speaker AAnd you know, we have to acknowledge the need to still have a great awareness around things and boundaries and you know, the, the need to still protect ourselves and our businesses.
Speaker ABecause.
Speaker ANo matter.
Speaker BHow.
Speaker AGood of collaborators we are.
Speaker AAnd I'm, I'm thinking of all these like interpersonal overlaps here, which we'll get to because we always do.
Speaker ABut no matter how good of a collaborator you are like that, that negativity and that, you know, encountering people or entities or businesses who are operating more from a lack standpoint can always sneak in there or some, some more negative or, or even malicious intent at times or self serving or you know, anywhere kind of along that, that spectrum of not the energy that you want with collaboration.
Speaker AAnd we have to be able to.
Speaker AAgain, I keep thinking of interpersonal relationships here, but we have to find that, that sweet spot where we can remain open and vulnerable.
Speaker BRight?
Speaker AYeah, that's where the opportunities come from.
Speaker ABut at the same time be discerning, be able to recognize when something is not aligning and being able to express.
Speaker AEnforce boundaries and you know, potentially have some unpleasant or confrontational interaction in order to do that.
Speaker AIn order to protect ourselves and our businesses in the long run, we cannot let openness turn into people pleasing.
Speaker BRight.
Speaker ABecause we will.
Speaker AWe.
Speaker AThat just is the road to.
Speaker AThe quick road to self sabotage.
Speaker BYeah, you're right.
Speaker BYou know, I do like we say it all the time, there's so many crossovers between.
Speaker BOur businesses and.
Speaker BAnd our.
Speaker BThe nature of our relationships and the inter.
Speaker BYou.
Speaker BYou said it like the inter.
Speaker BRelationships and.
Speaker BThe.
Speaker BFor years, we've been talking about the importance of seeing things for what they are and not being attached to things.
Speaker BAnd that includes, like, expectations of other people.
Speaker BAnd that includes, like, your ability to see potential in someone.
Speaker AYep.
Speaker BIt's not your mind.
Speaker BI'm also speaking to myself.
Speaker BIt's not our responsibility, even if we see the potential there to do that or to think that we can help someone get to that level.
Speaker BSo.
Speaker BAnd I know the I Ching has said that to us so many times, you know, about asserting boundaries.
Speaker BThey're necessary for expansion, and we have to adhere to them.
Speaker BAnd once we see something happen that's wrong, we need to have, even if it feels uncomfortable, have the courage to be able to say it.
Speaker AIn it continuing to happen.
Speaker BRight, Exactly.
Speaker BAnd I think this year has tested me in that way.
Speaker BIt's tested people in my circle in that way.
Speaker BAnd, you know, it's part of that disillusionment that is falling away, that even if we held out great hope for something in the beginning, are they delivering what they promised?
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker BAnd.
Speaker BAnd likewise, are we promising and not delivering?
Speaker BYou know, so I really feel that message coming through really strongly right now and just reflecting on that.
Speaker BAnd.
Speaker BI want to maintain, like, you know, collaboration has been what has.
Speaker BWe've gotten so much joy from you and I and the people that we collaborate with and the guests.
Speaker BIt's brought us so many opportunities and joy and thoughtful conversation and positivity, but.
Speaker BTalking to myself, too, like, make sure not to have the blinders on.
Speaker BIn the spirit of.
Speaker BWe've been talking about the snake skin, shedding the skin energy.
Speaker BAnd it's like, basically, we shed the skin and now we're further away from it.
Speaker BWe're very vulnerable.
Speaker BAnd even though we've grown, we've gotten longer and, you know, broader in our businesses and our personal lives and who we are, we've done the work.
Speaker BAnd when you're in that state of vulnerability and adjusting and, like, firming up your new identity, don't, you know, don't let go of those.
Speaker BI mean, just have an extra keen awareness of.
Speaker BHow vulnerable you are in that state and how visible you are lying in the sun and.
Speaker BAnd baking on that.
Speaker BThere's that new outer skin.
Speaker BSo you don't want to be prey.
Speaker BI was just thinking about your owl.
Speaker BLike, I was thinking about your owl that you keep singing.
Speaker AYeah, my pet.
Speaker BYeah, I Mean, it's like there's so much everybody, you know, well, that listens to us, I think, you know, has an awareness of, like, the signs and synchronicities and the spir.
Speaker BAnimals that present to us.
Speaker AAnd that's so many.
Speaker ALike, this week has been like the Discovery Channel.
Speaker BYeah, it has.
Speaker BThat's good.
Speaker BThat's good cheese.
Speaker AYeah, it's pretty cool.
Speaker BThat's so beautiful.
Speaker BI love that.
Speaker BWhat were some of the things about, like, the owl that we read?
Speaker BI know I looked it up last time, but.
Speaker BAnd it's the cutest little.
Speaker ALet me know is kind of the.
Speaker AThe biggest owl theme wisdom and like being able to.
Speaker ASee the truth in the dark.
Speaker AIn particular, owls act are actually.
Speaker AI think the word is diurnal, meaning they can thrive in the daytime or the nighttime.
Speaker AMost people think journal, but they are actually not.
Speaker ASo seeing the truth in the dark.
Speaker AThey're very.
Speaker AThey're like silent hunters.
Speaker AUnless you're still a little clumsy.
Speaker ALike my baby owl who.
Speaker AThe reason why I saw.
Speaker AI.
Speaker ASo I've seen that.
Speaker AI don't think.
Speaker AI don't think we've talked about this fully, but I've been seeing this little.
Speaker ALittle petite owl who lives or hangs out.
Speaker AThere's like a grouping of foliage of little trees right off my balcony.
Speaker BIt's so cute.
Speaker AAnd it'll come perch on my balcony at night and kind of go back and forth between the tree and my balcony.
Speaker AAnd so I've seen it and videoed it several times doing that.
Speaker ABut the other night, the reason I knew it was out there because I think what it's doing is practicing hunting moths.
Speaker AThere's a bunch of moths out there right now.
Speaker AAnd so I think hunting.
Speaker ABut I saw this little guy.
Speaker BFly.
Speaker AInto the post on my balcony the other day.
Speaker ALike, hit it.
Speaker BI know.
Speaker AI was like, oh, you missed.
Speaker AAnd it kind of, you know, re Recouped itself really quick and perched and started chilling.
Speaker ABut.
Speaker BBut yeah, like, it's like a little piggy.
Speaker AVery adept hunters and very, you know, silent hunters.
Speaker ARight.
Speaker BYeah.
Speaker BSo, I mean, it's almost like you're.
Speaker BYou sent the picture to me and it's like playing Where's Waldo?
Speaker BLike, where's.
Speaker BWhere's the owl?
Speaker BIn the tree, almost.
Speaker BYes.
Speaker BYeah.
Speaker AAnd they're very.
Speaker AThey're known.
Speaker AAnd this can be skewed positive or negative in some cultures, but they're very much known as being like.
Speaker AHelpers of the transition from one realm to another.
Speaker ASo from life to death.
Speaker AVery, very Scorpio energy in that Way the veil being very thin between realms.
Speaker ASo.
Speaker BYeah, I love that.
Speaker BYeah.
Speaker BI mean, and that tells.
Speaker BThat tells a lot, too.
Speaker BI mean, it's almost, like.
Speaker BBeen my experience in the past couple of weeks, too.
Speaker BLike, I told my daughter yesterday, when we were in the kitchen, like, I looked outside, there were, like, squirrels looking directly in the window, eating peanuts, like they were watching a show.
Speaker BThey were like, what are you making?
Speaker BThat looks interesting.
Speaker BYeah.
Speaker BSo, I mean, it's just, I think, important for us to just have that awareness and clarity that we're talking about and look for those messages and.
Speaker BAnd deeper things.
Speaker BAnd I wouldn't be surprised if maybe you Google an animal that you see a lot, you know, three times or more that comes to visit you if it will tell you a bit of background about where you are, what do you need to look out for.
Speaker BI had that happen the other day.
Speaker BI was running around why my cats were going crazy, and I thought they were going after my feather bowl that I have on the fireplace because I collect all the.
Speaker BAll those feathers like you do.
Speaker BAnd I was like, oh, you better not be going for my feather bouquet.
Speaker BAnd I got closer, and it was actually like this leaf bug that looked a bug that looked like a leaf.
Speaker BAnd it was on my feng shui crystal that I had on the fireplace.
Speaker BIt was so.
Speaker BThat was so cool.
Speaker BAnd of course, like, I got him out back outside, and he didn't get hurt or anything like that.
Speaker BBut I looked up the meaning of that, and it also gave me a lot of insight around, like, what we're talking about.
Speaker BI mean, take it.
Speaker BIt talks about this.
Speaker BThis bug.
Speaker BIt goes through some sort of, like, metamorphosis, and it speaks to continual growth and transformation throughout life.
Speaker BAnd it's a reminder you're always in a stage of.
Speaker BAnd that patience with your own developmental steps is necessary.
Speaker BSo I really like that.
Speaker BAnd, you know, so I think it's like sometimes when you don't know how to navigate through something, it helps to look to nature, to learn the story, to figure out how to protect yourself, your energy, your business.
Speaker BAnd it did it.
Speaker BLike, of course, I use chat GPT, not to be, but a different one to give me some, you know, go through all the collections and the resources and stuff.
Speaker BAnd I thought it was really neat.
Speaker BGave me some questions to ask myself.
Speaker BAnd it said, where in my life do I need to be more adaptable or blend in to protect myself and my energy?
Speaker BThat reminded me of your owl.
Speaker BBecause that's very much the vibe right now, like, being that vulnerable new form snake.
Speaker BAnd am I using all the resources and tools available to me for my current goal?
Speaker BAnd you know, it's not all just manifestation and wishing and willing or, you know, all of that setting your intentions.
Speaker BIt's, are you using, are you using the resources and tools and are you allowing yourself the space to grow through the current stages of development.
Speaker BSo being comfortable with like the growing pains of each stage and it's forever.
Speaker BLike, I've been on the phone call with so many people lately, been doing a lot of like, energy upgrades with people and vision sessions and it, you know, really pains me to listen to people that are struggling through the ups and downs of life and business and, and they say, when is it going to stop?
Speaker BWell, it's never going to stop.
Speaker BYou know, no matter.
Speaker BThat's, that's the thing that I think we talk about a lot.
Speaker BLike these cycles are forever.
Speaker BYou don't get to a place and say, well, the cycle stopped and now, you know, there's no ups and downs or wild swings.
Speaker BAnd that's really been a lot of the calls that I've been receiving are kind of like panicky.
Speaker BLike, I'm watching all your feng shui videos and I'm reading all the books and I'm listening to Law of Attraction.
Speaker BI'm doing all these things, but why is my life still up and down?
Speaker BWhy can't I just coast?
Speaker BAnd, and I think the coasting really comes from accepting that there's always going to be the ups and downs and being okay with that.
Speaker BAnd, and that takes you off like the crazy train.
Speaker BAnd there's no like, you know, manifestation or magic that can do that for you.
Speaker BThat's something you need to do for yourself.
Speaker BYou know, feng shui rituals can support that.
Speaker BAnd, and I think like, the, the big themes of like, holistic health and wellness being so important to be nurtured and then additionally looking at your helpful people and the people around you.
Speaker BAnd that's a direct line to your abundance.
Speaker BAnd abundance isn't just money.
Speaker BPeople are, I don't have enough money and money keeps leaving me.
Speaker BBut you're still here and you still have people around you.
Speaker BYou still have the resources, like recognizing that's the abundance.
Speaker BAnd, and I think that.
Speaker BI think it's on each of us individually to take that accountability, have that awareness and hopefully like just reduce a lot of this.
Speaker BTaking advantage of people from a plague place of lack to be able to fill your cup.
Speaker ALike, I've, I've heard an interesting tip in that regard too, that I, when I think about it, I've tried to incorporate it and just to kind of as part of the, the package to improve relationship with money and resources.
Speaker AAnd that was that this person, they.
Speaker AThey think they thank money when it comes to them.
Speaker AEven if it's just like finding a penny on the ground or something, they thank money when it comes to them and they thank money when it leaves them, when they buy something or they have to pay a bill or whatever.
Speaker ABecause.
Speaker ABringing it to that same energy of gratitude, like, even if you want to think of it like, oh, thank you that I have the money to pay this bill right now, what, you know, whatever it is, even if it, you know, it's still, it still overall will improve the, the, the energy and your relationship with that resource.
Speaker AWay more than, I mean, you know, anytime you pay a bill, you kind of get that.
Speaker ALike, but if we get.
Speaker AAnd that's okay, but if we can overcome that with a, you know what, thank you money for, you know, being available for me to pay this bill, I think that over time it makes sense that that would really just improve.
Speaker AThe inflow and outflow of resources.
Speaker BYes.
Speaker BAnd trust that it will replenish.
Speaker BYeah.
Speaker BAnd, and that's like one of the benefits of collaboration is reciprocity.
Speaker BYou know, that's two, two entities, two people contributing to the greater good externally and internally within the team.
Speaker BBut that means, like, you know, it's.
Speaker BYou don't have to do things on your own.
Speaker BLike, that's the beauty of it.
Speaker BAnd I think.
Speaker BYou know, when we can have that trust and that helps to alleviate the gratitude like you're mentioning and the trust on all sides of outpouring and receiving, that's when it, it mitigates that scarcity and like Hunger Games, like kind of mentality, both energies can't.
Speaker AReally exist at once.
Speaker BYeah.
Speaker BYeah, you're right.
Speaker AI mean, really, I like.
Speaker AReally, gratitude is the cheat code for any sort of quote unquote, negative emotion.
Speaker AAnd if you have.
Speaker AYou know, a negative energy.
Speaker AEvery time money leaves you, it's just, it just accumulates negative energy around money.
Speaker ANot.
Speaker AYou know what I mean?
Speaker ALike, the energy doesn't know the difference.
Speaker ABetween leaving and coming.
Speaker AIt just, it just makes you more likely to have less than ideal relationship with money and resources.
Speaker BYeah.
Speaker BWhat do you say we just put a bow on this real quick and do a couple cards to tie it together.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker BFrom the I Ching.
Speaker BAnd then we'll call it a day.
Speaker BIt's been a good GM sesh.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker ALet's just.
Speaker AOr do you.
Speaker AYeah, yeah.
Speaker BWe'll button it up here in a quick little like five minutes.
Speaker BThe energy around us and.
Speaker BAnd how do we.
Speaker BProtect our energy and.
Speaker BStill nourish in our collaborations?
Speaker BI hope this is relevant to people.
Speaker BBut I'm feel I'm seeing it in clients, I'm seeing it in my own.
Speaker BAnd this is wild.
Speaker BThe energy around us is holding together.
Speaker BAnd then how do we continue moving forward?
Speaker BNourishment.
Speaker BWhich is hexagram27.
Speaker BSo super simple.
Speaker AStraightforward by the way.
Speaker BYeah.
Speaker BSince I put the bow.
Speaker BYeah.
Speaker BIt's like the shortest reading ever.
Speaker BThere's only two change lines and it is just putting a bone what we talked about.
Speaker BSo we're in the energy of holding together.
Speaker BAnd just the highlights of that holding together produces success.
Speaker BHigh level teamwork is achieved when the right players are on the right team and they share a clear goal at the right time.
Speaker AOh my God.
Speaker BYeah.
Speaker BA team forms its relationships in a delicate manner.
Speaker BChemistry is brewed up at the bat of that and shared experience.
Speaker BAnd like every relationship starts up like glowy and strong and that strong sense of unity and wholehearted commitment is required for a team success.
Speaker BSo that's the energy that we're in.
Speaker BAnd there is a change line kind of at the top.
Speaker BAnd it says a beneficial union is in the offing.
Speaker BSometimes.
Speaker AThere you go.
Speaker BThere will be good fortune if you are careful not to force things.
Speaker BLet people come and go and when the right one arrives, you will know it may be time to align yourself with someone near the center of things.
Speaker BSo there you go.
Speaker ADon't force it just to collab.
Speaker ALet.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker ALet it happen naturally and let people.
Speaker BKnow to go doesn't need to be forever.
Speaker BAnd then reflecting on our inner selves.
Speaker BSincerity is the foundation of all successful relationships in a thirsty world.
Speaker AThirsty.
Speaker BIt is not the form of the waters container that matters.
Speaker BIt's the contents.
Speaker BSo we were just talking about like that thirst and you know, reflecting on ourselves and then moving forward with nourishment.
Speaker BLike we've been talking about it all along.
Speaker BThe ways that we can move through this.
Speaker BThat you.
Speaker BThis is you talking every day.
Speaker BIt's more than just a healthy diet, a food.
Speaker BIt represents a caregiving as well.
Speaker BAnd you can know people by observing what they nourish in their own lives.
Speaker BThat's a good tip.
Speaker BWho are you collaborating with and how are they nourishing themselves?
Speaker BDoes that align with you and just observe like I think we do a lot of.
Speaker BI don't.
Speaker BBut maybe all of us, like, truly observing things for what they are is like, what's going on here?
Speaker BDoes that align?
Speaker BDo they cultivate their spirits, their intellects and their.
Speaker BTheir world values, their moral values?
Speaker BDo they nourish and care for those around them?
Speaker BSo how people collaborate with you reflects on you.
Speaker BSo keep that in mind.
Speaker BPay heed to thoughts and impulses, ignoring those who undermine a healthy and persevering attitude that'll reflect badly on you.
Speaker BTemporary pleasure, like just one success doesn't indicate sustainability.
Speaker BEnact your character, and you will nourish everyone around you in the best possible way.
Speaker ASo, boom, boom.
Speaker BThanks iching for.
Speaker BYeah.
Speaker BAnd I think it'll be great when the video is published so people can actually see that it's not like a scripted thing, and yet it always, like, it specifically says things that we say.
Speaker BSo I don't know.
Speaker BExplain that.
Speaker BI know we talk a lot, but it's not like, come on now.
Speaker BRight.
Speaker ALike, as good as the damn algorithm.
Speaker BRight, Exactly.
Speaker AIt's the OG algorithm.
Speaker BYeah, I Ching is the algorithm.
Speaker AAncient times, picking up on what we say and thank.
Speaker BGiving and putting and serving it in front of us.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker BSo awesome.
Speaker BWell, I think that was good.
Speaker BAny.
Speaker BAny last words coming to you?
Speaker ANo, I think I said a lot of words.
Speaker BWe said a lot of words.
Speaker BBeen a wordy day.
Speaker AHopefully they were good ones.
Speaker BYes, we need to nourish and replenish and.
Speaker BYes, what?
Speaker BHopefully they were going sweat.
Speaker BBrain.
Speaker ABrain replenishment.
Speaker BBrain replenishment.
Speaker BYes.
Speaker BYes, for sure.
Speaker BAll right, guys, well, I hope that resonated or helped you in some way and let us know what you think.
