Speaker A

What up, y'?

Speaker A

All?

Speaker B

This is Emily and I'm Lisa.

Speaker B

We are the conscious collaboration.

Speaker A

Thumbs up.

Speaker B

That was the cheesiest thumbs up I could muster.

Speaker A

I wish I could see it.

Speaker A

I can't wait Till we're on YouTube.

Speaker B

Yes, it's coming.

Speaker B

Yes, growth is.

Speaker B

Is happening.

Speaker B

Everything is all about growth and expansion now.

Speaker B

So new things on the horizon.

Speaker A

Be able to upload all these video.

Speaker A

We got the videos.

Speaker A

Yeah.

Speaker B

We have so many.

Speaker B

My assistant is going to be busy.

Speaker A

I don't know why.

Speaker B

It's just a mental block that I have to, like, get things done.

Speaker B

I think.

Speaker B

It'S coming.

Speaker A

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker B

Yeah.

Speaker B

And.

Speaker B

And you guys will appreciate us even more when you can see these videos.

Speaker B

But in the spirit of collaboration and winging it.

Speaker A

The dark side of collaboration.

Speaker B

Oh, yeah.

Speaker B

Well, not.

Speaker B

Not.

Speaker B

Yeah.

Speaker B

Not to get too dark, but just.

Speaker B

Yeah.

Speaker B

I mean, I've been reflecting a lot, you know, as we're growing and expanding and in the podcast and, you know, certainly seeing it in our friends and our circles and our collaborations, it just as we near the close of this solar year, it's reflecting on just some of the lessons, and we've had a lot of tough lessons this year on various levels.

Speaker B

Personally, professionally.

Speaker B

Globally, everything.

Speaker B

So, yeah, I mean, I think.

Speaker B

I think I'm getting kind of reflective in that way, but, you know, I have so much gratitude.

Speaker B

Like, I really feel that.

Speaker B

So much gratitude in our community and in our circle about these beautiful collaborations that we formed.

Speaker B

And we, you know, can celebrate, for example, like Felicia McCaskill, one of our recent guests, you know, making a connection with someone through the podcast, and that's awesome and amazing.

Speaker B

Yeah, and I think it's.

Speaker B

It feels good to be able to celebrate those that you're on a path and journey with and celebrate them on accomplishments like, you know, that goes back to whole planting the karma seeds thing.

Speaker B

You know, when you're able to do that, it's, you know, it helps growth within yourself, but then also recognizing that we've also been through and as I said in the last episode, you know, a period of challenges.

Speaker B

And, you know, I'm seeing it here locally in the Tampa Bay area.

Speaker B

There's a lot of lack.

Speaker B

You know, prices are going up, and people are operating on lack and scarcity, and they're scared.

Speaker B

And I don't know who said it to me.

Speaker B

I mean, honestly, I think it was in a conversation with you or with Kevin.

Speaker B

We were talking about, like, one of the most dangerous people is.

Speaker B

Is somebody that's operating in.

Speaker B

In a place of of luck because, you know.

Speaker B

Yeah, yeah, scrappy in a potentially.

Speaker B

Yeah, like scrounging in a potentially.

Speaker B

Bad way for themselves and for people around them and you know, it's got that like Hunger Games vibe, you know, everybody in it for themselves to survive.

Speaker B

And I feel so bad.

Speaker B

You know, I see a lot of like people being so kind and generous and providing meals and, and clothing and donations and I love that people are setting up tables in their front yard to feed neighbors and, and things like that.

Speaker B

But I've also seen a lot of people getting taken advantage of and a lot of scamminess.

Speaker B

A lot of like, you know, not genuine collaboration.

Speaker A

Yeah.

Speaker B

What?

Speaker A

Yeah.

Speaker A

A thousand percent.

Speaker A

And I think, you know.

Speaker A

Obviously we are very generally pro collaboration.

Speaker A

Absolutely.

Speaker A

I hope that doesn't need to be said being that the name of our podcast.

Speaker A

Major theme of it and as illustrated by like Felicia McCaskill getting, you know, her speaking opportunity.

Speaker A

Like this is exactly the type of thing that collaboration is for.

Speaker A

That said.

Speaker A

We, we have to be aware of the, I mean dangers seems like a little dramatic of a word, but the negative things that can make their way in.

Speaker A

And you know, we have to acknowledge the need to still have a great awareness around things and boundaries and you know, the, the need to still protect ourselves and our businesses.

Speaker A

Because.

Speaker A

No matter.

Speaker B

How.

Speaker A

Good of collaborators we are.

Speaker A

And I'm, I'm thinking of all these like interpersonal overlaps here, which we'll get to because we always do.

Speaker A

But no matter how good of a collaborator you are like that, that negativity and that, you know, encountering people or entities or businesses who are operating more from a lack standpoint can always sneak in there or some, some more negative or, or even malicious intent at times or self serving or you know, anywhere kind of along that, that spectrum of not the energy that you want with collaboration.

Speaker A

And we have to be able to.

Speaker A

Again, I keep thinking of interpersonal relationships here, but we have to find that, that sweet spot where we can remain open and vulnerable.

Speaker B

Right?

Speaker A

Yeah, that's where the opportunities come from.

Speaker A

But at the same time be discerning, be able to recognize when something is not aligning and being able to express.

Speaker A

Enforce boundaries and you know, potentially have some unpleasant or confrontational interaction in order to do that.

Speaker A

In order to protect ourselves and our businesses in the long run, we cannot let openness turn into people pleasing.

Speaker B

Right.

Speaker A

Because we will.

Speaker A

We.

Speaker A

That just is the road to.

Speaker A

The quick road to self sabotage.

Speaker B

Yeah, you're right.

Speaker B

You know, I do like we say it all the time, there's so many crossovers between.

Speaker B

Our businesses and.

Speaker B

And our.

Speaker B

The nature of our relationships and the inter.

Speaker B

You.

Speaker B

You said it like the inter.

Speaker B

Relationships and.

Speaker B

The.

Speaker B

For years, we've been talking about the importance of seeing things for what they are and not being attached to things.

Speaker B

And that includes, like, expectations of other people.

Speaker B

And that includes, like, your ability to see potential in someone.

Speaker A

Yep.

Speaker B

It's not your mind.

Speaker B

I'm also speaking to myself.

Speaker B

It's not our responsibility, even if we see the potential there to do that or to think that we can help someone get to that level.

Speaker B

So.

Speaker B

And I know the I Ching has said that to us so many times, you know, about asserting boundaries.

Speaker B

They're necessary for expansion, and we have to adhere to them.

Speaker B

And once we see something happen that's wrong, we need to have, even if it feels uncomfortable, have the courage to be able to say it.

Speaker A

In it continuing to happen.

Speaker B

Right, Exactly.

Speaker B

And I think this year has tested me in that way.

Speaker B

It's tested people in my circle in that way.

Speaker B

And, you know, it's part of that disillusionment that is falling away, that even if we held out great hope for something in the beginning, are they delivering what they promised?

Speaker A

Yeah.

Speaker B

And.

Speaker B

And likewise, are we promising and not delivering?

Speaker B

You know, so I really feel that message coming through really strongly right now and just reflecting on that.

Speaker B

And.

Speaker B

I want to maintain, like, you know, collaboration has been what has.

Speaker B

We've gotten so much joy from you and I and the people that we collaborate with and the guests.

Speaker B

It's brought us so many opportunities and joy and thoughtful conversation and positivity, but.

Speaker B

Talking to myself, too, like, make sure not to have the blinders on.

Speaker B

In the spirit of.

Speaker B

We've been talking about the snake skin, shedding the skin energy.

Speaker B

And it's like, basically, we shed the skin and now we're further away from it.

Speaker B

We're very vulnerable.

Speaker B

And even though we've grown, we've gotten longer and, you know, broader in our businesses and our personal lives and who we are, we've done the work.

Speaker B

And when you're in that state of vulnerability and adjusting and, like, firming up your new identity, don't, you know, don't let go of those.

Speaker B

I mean, just have an extra keen awareness of.

Speaker B

How vulnerable you are in that state and how visible you are lying in the sun and.

Speaker B

And baking on that.

Speaker B

There's that new outer skin.

Speaker B

So you don't want to be prey.

Speaker B

I was just thinking about your owl.

Speaker B

Like, I was thinking about your owl that you keep singing.

Speaker A

Yeah, my pet.

Speaker B

Yeah, I Mean, it's like there's so much everybody, you know, well, that listens to us, I think, you know, has an awareness of, like, the signs and synchronicities and the spir.

Speaker B

Animals that present to us.

Speaker A

And that's so many.

Speaker A

Like, this week has been like the Discovery Channel.

Speaker B

Yeah, it has.

Speaker B

That's good.

Speaker B

That's good cheese.

Speaker A

Yeah, it's pretty cool.

Speaker B

That's so beautiful.

Speaker B

I love that.

Speaker B

What were some of the things about, like, the owl that we read?

Speaker B

I know I looked it up last time, but.

Speaker B

And it's the cutest little.

Speaker A

Let me know is kind of the.

Speaker A

The biggest owl theme wisdom and like being able to.

Speaker A

See the truth in the dark.

Speaker A

In particular, owls act are actually.

Speaker A

I think the word is diurnal, meaning they can thrive in the daytime or the nighttime.

Speaker A

Most people think journal, but they are actually not.

Speaker A

So seeing the truth in the dark.

Speaker A

They're very.

Speaker A

They're like silent hunters.

Speaker A

Unless you're still a little clumsy.

Speaker A

Like my baby owl who.

Speaker A

The reason why I saw.

Speaker A

I.

Speaker A

So I've seen that.

Speaker A

I don't think.

Speaker A

I don't think we've talked about this fully, but I've been seeing this little.

Speaker A

Little petite owl who lives or hangs out.

Speaker A

There's like a grouping of foliage of little trees right off my balcony.

Speaker B

It's so cute.

Speaker A

And it'll come perch on my balcony at night and kind of go back and forth between the tree and my balcony.

Speaker A

And so I've seen it and videoed it several times doing that.

Speaker A

But the other night, the reason I knew it was out there because I think what it's doing is practicing hunting moths.

Speaker A

There's a bunch of moths out there right now.

Speaker A

And so I think hunting.

Speaker A

But I saw this little guy.

Speaker B

Fly.

Speaker A

Into the post on my balcony the other day.

Speaker A

Like, hit it.

Speaker B

I know.

Speaker A

I was like, oh, you missed.

Speaker A

And it kind of, you know, re Recouped itself really quick and perched and started chilling.

Speaker A

But.

Speaker B

But yeah, like, it's like a little piggy.

Speaker A

Very adept hunters and very, you know, silent hunters.

Speaker A

Right.

Speaker B

Yeah.

Speaker B

So, I mean, it's almost like you're.

Speaker B

You sent the picture to me and it's like playing Where's Waldo?

Speaker B

Like, where's.

Speaker B

Where's the owl?

Speaker B

In the tree, almost.

Speaker B

Yes.

Speaker B

Yeah.

Speaker A

And they're very.

Speaker A

They're known.

Speaker A

And this can be skewed positive or negative in some cultures, but they're very much known as being like.

Speaker A

Helpers of the transition from one realm to another.

Speaker A

So from life to death.

Speaker A

Very, very Scorpio energy in that Way the veil being very thin between realms.

Speaker A

So.

Speaker B

Yeah, I love that.

Speaker B

Yeah.

Speaker B

I mean, and that tells.

Speaker B

That tells a lot, too.

Speaker B

I mean, it's almost, like.

Speaker B

Been my experience in the past couple of weeks, too.

Speaker B

Like, I told my daughter yesterday, when we were in the kitchen, like, I looked outside, there were, like, squirrels looking directly in the window, eating peanuts, like they were watching a show.

Speaker B

They were like, what are you making?

Speaker B

That looks interesting.

Speaker B

Yeah.

Speaker B

So, I mean, it's just, I think, important for us to just have that awareness and clarity that we're talking about and look for those messages and.

Speaker B

And deeper things.

Speaker B

And I wouldn't be surprised if maybe you Google an animal that you see a lot, you know, three times or more that comes to visit you if it will tell you a bit of background about where you are, what do you need to look out for.

Speaker B

I had that happen the other day.

Speaker B

I was running around why my cats were going crazy, and I thought they were going after my feather bowl that I have on the fireplace because I collect all the.

Speaker B

All those feathers like you do.

Speaker B

And I was like, oh, you better not be going for my feather bouquet.

Speaker B

And I got closer, and it was actually like this leaf bug that looked a bug that looked like a leaf.

Speaker B

And it was on my feng shui crystal that I had on the fireplace.

Speaker B

It was so.

Speaker B

That was so cool.

Speaker B

And of course, like, I got him out back outside, and he didn't get hurt or anything like that.

Speaker B

But I looked up the meaning of that, and it also gave me a lot of insight around, like, what we're talking about.

Speaker B

I mean, take it.

Speaker B

It talks about this.

Speaker B

This bug.

Speaker B

It goes through some sort of, like, metamorphosis, and it speaks to continual growth and transformation throughout life.

Speaker B

And it's a reminder you're always in a stage of.

Speaker B

And that patience with your own developmental steps is necessary.

Speaker B

So I really like that.

Speaker B

And, you know, so I think it's like sometimes when you don't know how to navigate through something, it helps to look to nature, to learn the story, to figure out how to protect yourself, your energy, your business.

Speaker B

And it did it.

Speaker B

Like, of course, I use chat GPT, not to be, but a different one to give me some, you know, go through all the collections and the resources and stuff.

Speaker B

And I thought it was really neat.

Speaker B

Gave me some questions to ask myself.

Speaker B

And it said, where in my life do I need to be more adaptable or blend in to protect myself and my energy?

Speaker B

That reminded me of your owl.

Speaker B

Because that's very much the vibe right now, like, being that vulnerable new form snake.

Speaker B

And am I using all the resources and tools available to me for my current goal?

Speaker B

And you know, it's not all just manifestation and wishing and willing or, you know, all of that setting your intentions.

Speaker B

It's, are you using, are you using the resources and tools and are you allowing yourself the space to grow through the current stages of development.

Speaker B

So being comfortable with like the growing pains of each stage and it's forever.

Speaker B

Like, I've been on the phone call with so many people lately, been doing a lot of like, energy upgrades with people and vision sessions and it, you know, really pains me to listen to people that are struggling through the ups and downs of life and business and, and they say, when is it going to stop?

Speaker B

Well, it's never going to stop.

Speaker B

You know, no matter.

Speaker B

That's, that's the thing that I think we talk about a lot.

Speaker B

Like these cycles are forever.

Speaker B

You don't get to a place and say, well, the cycle stopped and now, you know, there's no ups and downs or wild swings.

Speaker B

And that's really been a lot of the calls that I've been receiving are kind of like panicky.

Speaker B

Like, I'm watching all your feng shui videos and I'm reading all the books and I'm listening to Law of Attraction.

Speaker B

I'm doing all these things, but why is my life still up and down?

Speaker B

Why can't I just coast?

Speaker B

And, and I think the coasting really comes from accepting that there's always going to be the ups and downs and being okay with that.

Speaker B

And, and that takes you off like the crazy train.

Speaker B

And there's no like, you know, manifestation or magic that can do that for you.

Speaker B

That's something you need to do for yourself.

Speaker B

You know, feng shui rituals can support that.

Speaker B

And, and I think like, the, the big themes of like, holistic health and wellness being so important to be nurtured and then additionally looking at your helpful people and the people around you.

Speaker B

And that's a direct line to your abundance.

Speaker B

And abundance isn't just money.

Speaker B

People are, I don't have enough money and money keeps leaving me.

Speaker B

But you're still here and you still have people around you.

Speaker B

You still have the resources, like recognizing that's the abundance.

Speaker B

And, and I think that.

Speaker B

I think it's on each of us individually to take that accountability, have that awareness and hopefully like just reduce a lot of this.

Speaker B

Taking advantage of people from a plague place of lack to be able to fill your cup.

Speaker A

Like, I've, I've heard an interesting tip in that regard too, that I, when I think about it, I've tried to incorporate it and just to kind of as part of the, the package to improve relationship with money and resources.

Speaker A

And that was that this person, they.

Speaker A

They think they thank money when it comes to them.

Speaker A

Even if it's just like finding a penny on the ground or something, they thank money when it comes to them and they thank money when it leaves them, when they buy something or they have to pay a bill or whatever.

Speaker A

Because.

Speaker A

Bringing it to that same energy of gratitude, like, even if you want to think of it like, oh, thank you that I have the money to pay this bill right now, what, you know, whatever it is, even if it, you know, it's still, it still overall will improve the, the, the energy and your relationship with that resource.

Speaker A

Way more than, I mean, you know, anytime you pay a bill, you kind of get that.

Speaker A

Like, but if we get.

Speaker A

And that's okay, but if we can overcome that with a, you know what, thank you money for, you know, being available for me to pay this bill, I think that over time it makes sense that that would really just improve.

Speaker A

The inflow and outflow of resources.

Speaker B

Yes.

Speaker B

And trust that it will replenish.

Speaker B

Yeah.

Speaker B

And, and that's like one of the benefits of collaboration is reciprocity.

Speaker B

You know, that's two, two entities, two people contributing to the greater good externally and internally within the team.

Speaker B

But that means, like, you know, it's.

Speaker B

You don't have to do things on your own.

Speaker B

Like, that's the beauty of it.

Speaker B

And I think.

Speaker B

You know, when we can have that trust and that helps to alleviate the gratitude like you're mentioning and the trust on all sides of outpouring and receiving, that's when it, it mitigates that scarcity and like Hunger Games, like kind of mentality, both energies can't.

Speaker A

Really exist at once.

Speaker B

Yeah.

Speaker B

Yeah, you're right.

Speaker A

I mean, really, I like.

Speaker A

Really, gratitude is the cheat code for any sort of quote unquote, negative emotion.

Speaker A

And if you have.

Speaker A

You know, a negative energy.

Speaker A

Every time money leaves you, it's just, it just accumulates negative energy around money.

Speaker A

Not.

Speaker A

You know what I mean?

Speaker A

Like, the energy doesn't know the difference.

Speaker A

Between leaving and coming.

Speaker A

It just, it just makes you more likely to have less than ideal relationship with money and resources.

Speaker B

Yeah.

Speaker B

What do you say we just put a bow on this real quick and do a couple cards to tie it together.

Speaker A

Yeah.

Speaker B

From the I Ching.

Speaker B

And then we'll call it a day.

Speaker B

It's been a good GM sesh.

Speaker A

Yeah.

Speaker A

Let's just.

Speaker A

Or do you.

Speaker A

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker B

We'll button it up here in a quick little like five minutes.

Speaker B

The energy around us and.

Speaker B

And how do we.

Speaker B

Protect our energy and.

Speaker B

Still nourish in our collaborations?

Speaker B

I hope this is relevant to people.

Speaker B

But I'm feel I'm seeing it in clients, I'm seeing it in my own.

Speaker B

And this is wild.

Speaker B

The energy around us is holding together.

Speaker B

And then how do we continue moving forward?

Speaker B

Nourishment.

Speaker B

Which is hexagram27.

Speaker B

So super simple.

Speaker A

Straightforward by the way.

Speaker B

Yeah.

Speaker B

Since I put the bow.

Speaker B

Yeah.

Speaker B

It's like the shortest reading ever.

Speaker B

There's only two change lines and it is just putting a bone what we talked about.

Speaker B

So we're in the energy of holding together.

Speaker B

And just the highlights of that holding together produces success.

Speaker B

High level teamwork is achieved when the right players are on the right team and they share a clear goal at the right time.

Speaker A

Oh my God.

Speaker B

Yeah.

Speaker B

A team forms its relationships in a delicate manner.

Speaker B

Chemistry is brewed up at the bat of that and shared experience.

Speaker B

And like every relationship starts up like glowy and strong and that strong sense of unity and wholehearted commitment is required for a team success.

Speaker B

So that's the energy that we're in.

Speaker B

And there is a change line kind of at the top.

Speaker B

And it says a beneficial union is in the offing.

Speaker B

Sometimes.

Speaker A

There you go.

Speaker B

There will be good fortune if you are careful not to force things.

Speaker B

Let people come and go and when the right one arrives, you will know it may be time to align yourself with someone near the center of things.

Speaker B

So there you go.

Speaker A

Don't force it just to collab.

Speaker A

Let.

Speaker A

Yeah.

Speaker A

Let it happen naturally and let people.

Speaker B

Know to go doesn't need to be forever.

Speaker B

And then reflecting on our inner selves.

Speaker B

Sincerity is the foundation of all successful relationships in a thirsty world.

Speaker A

Thirsty.

Speaker B

It is not the form of the waters container that matters.

Speaker B

It's the contents.

Speaker B

So we were just talking about like that thirst and you know, reflecting on ourselves and then moving forward with nourishment.

Speaker B

Like we've been talking about it all along.

Speaker B

The ways that we can move through this.

Speaker B

That you.

Speaker B

This is you talking every day.

Speaker B

It's more than just a healthy diet, a food.

Speaker B

It represents a caregiving as well.

Speaker B

And you can know people by observing what they nourish in their own lives.

Speaker B

That's a good tip.

Speaker B

Who are you collaborating with and how are they nourishing themselves?

Speaker B

Does that align with you and just observe like I think we do a lot of.

Speaker B

I don't.

Speaker B

But maybe all of us, like, truly observing things for what they are is like, what's going on here?

Speaker B

Does that align?

Speaker B

Do they cultivate their spirits, their intellects and their.

Speaker B

Their world values, their moral values?

Speaker B

Do they nourish and care for those around them?

Speaker B

So how people collaborate with you reflects on you.

Speaker B

So keep that in mind.

Speaker B

Pay heed to thoughts and impulses, ignoring those who undermine a healthy and persevering attitude that'll reflect badly on you.

Speaker B

Temporary pleasure, like just one success doesn't indicate sustainability.

Speaker B

Enact your character, and you will nourish everyone around you in the best possible way.

Speaker A

So, boom, boom.

Speaker B

Thanks iching for.

Speaker B

Yeah.

Speaker B

And I think it'll be great when the video is published so people can actually see that it's not like a scripted thing, and yet it always, like, it specifically says things that we say.

Speaker B

So I don't know.

Speaker B

Explain that.

Speaker B

I know we talk a lot, but it's not like, come on now.

Speaker B

Right.

Speaker A

Like, as good as the damn algorithm.

Speaker B

Right, Exactly.

Speaker A

It's the OG algorithm.

Speaker B

Yeah, I Ching is the algorithm.

Speaker A

Ancient times, picking up on what we say and thank.

Speaker B

Giving and putting and serving it in front of us.

Speaker A

Yeah.

Speaker A

Yeah.

Speaker B

So awesome.

Speaker B

Well, I think that was good.

Speaker B

Any.

Speaker B

Any last words coming to you?

Speaker A

No, I think I said a lot of words.

Speaker B

We said a lot of words.

Speaker B

Been a wordy day.

Speaker A

Hopefully they were good ones.

Speaker B

Yes, we need to nourish and replenish and.

Speaker B

Yes, what?

Speaker B

Hopefully they were going sweat.

Speaker B

Brain.

Speaker A

Brain replenishment.

Speaker B

Brain replenishment.

Speaker B

Yes.

Speaker B

Yes, for sure.

Speaker B
