We saw crazy scores in week two, but that didn't quite translate into the DFS teams that we all wanted.

Yeah, we've now doubled our sample. We're two games into the season, so we'll cover some of our players that are trending up as well as some rookies that have failed to deliver on their off season expectations so far.

Yeah, this is the Fantasy Football game plan, and let's jump right into reviewing week two and then we'll. Do a rundown of week three and what you can expect from a DFS perspective on the, we're only going through the main slate of games for DFS and this is focused on DraftKings as well. So in week two, I did have one of my lineups somehow cash in the Millie maker. I don't know how I had Joe Burrow and so it was, you know, stone cold when he went out, but it, it still cashed at 147 points. I was. Really surprised giving all the scoring that we had last week,

I was feeling good. I had some, uh,, Miami, new England stacks and those were looking good. And then I was watching the fourth quarter of those games. Those early games were going wild, especially that Dallas, giants, which that was actually the lineup that ended up taking it home was

was.

brave enough to. Russell Wilson and a neighbors Dale Stack, Russell Wilson was only played 0.7% of the time, so I mean, they were definitely unique. They were definitely different and it paid off with a monster day for the Giants.

Yeah. So I think here in week three, that's what we're looking for. How are we going to get different and who is our Russell Wilson of this week?

Yeah. First I wanna have some conversation on the rookies because I feel like in the off season, this was the year of the rookies and a lot of them have not delivered so far. So starting off with the three main running backs that were the highest drafted and redraft, we got Genty, Hampton, and Travon. Have you seen any spark that you like so far, or do you think that breakout game is coming? Quickly for any of these three.

I'm not feeling it. I'm feeling, you know, last week I thought we were going to see Trayvon Henderson really break loose and they didn't really wanna even, you know, give him the ball. So that didn't happen. I'm not feeling good about, you know, o Marion Hampton either. The Chargers seemed to have discovered that they have a great quarterback and they're perfectly happy at throwing the ball.

Hampton will have brighter days ahead. As long as Herbert stops them scoring touchdowns from like 40 yards out, if they actually get to the goal line, I think we can have a lot more success. But they're really just converting these Dr these scoring drives so quickly. Travion has the most promise, and actually with an, with a, one of the interviews with Vrabel. long pass that was to Roman Andre. And he actually made a great catch and great play on the sideline for it,

like a little wheel route. And that was Schemed for Trayvon, but he got benched because he had three holding calls in a row. that seems like the boom bust. Like I loved him as a prospect. He's getting plays drawn up, but you gotta be on the field, dude. So,

Yeah. Yeah.

I dunno. I think it's coming for both of those GTI worries me because that line just looks so terrible. I'm sure you can bust one up against one of the worst running defenses, but, for consistent output it is not looking good.

Yeah, I would think that Gente is like the leading candidate. He's not sharing. And that's another thing with Marian Hampton is we saw him start sharing with Naji Harris this week.

Yeah.

You know, one, they're not running, and two, now you're sharing. So that's not good.

felt better if never had the fireworks incident and if he was just healthy and like the lead back and we saw a 50 50 time split in week two, we'd be like, great.

Yeah.

already getting worked in, but the fact that it's kind of rolled out this way, I think has us a little negative. So I still think brighter days, and especially in the second half of the season, these are gonna be potential league winners, but we're gonna have to sift through some bad games in between there.

Well, let's see if we can jump into week three and find what bad game is hiding our top prospects for DFS play this week. Uh, we're gonna kick it off. We always start with the highest o over under, thinking that that's the game, that's going to be the fireworks. I don't know that Vegas is quite ironed this all out yet. First week we hit all the unders. Last week they were hitting all the overs. Maybe this week we're a little bit more on track. But we'll see. We're gonna kick it off with the discussion of Dallas at Chicago. Dallas is favored by one. Over under is 50. What do you think? Are you in on this game?

I am in on this game mostly because I haven't seen that these defenses can stop anyone. Both of them have gotten, were kind of bullied and pushed around last week, with Detroit putting up over 50 points on Chicago and Brussel Wilson just lining up that Dallas Secondary. And it's also worrisome that Chicago, really like to play man. They really like to play man against, in their coverages. And they're gonna be without Jalen Johnson, their number one cornerback. And so now. It kind of has a trickle down effect. So now you have your cornerback two against cd, lamb, your Cornerback, three against Pickens, and especially against a talented wide receiver duo. We could see some fireworks here.

I definitely think we can see some fireworks here. I definitely think that this is the game that everybody's going to be on. The, this is the chalk play. You've gotta be thinking that.

Yeah. And we saw last week how much more valuable it is to hit on those. Lesser games. Those games around like a 42 point total that actually go off rather than if you were in on the Jacksonville, Cincinnati game. 'Cause they just weren't worth as much because they're already priced into their value.

Yeah, it was my other plays and the pieces from the games that kept me afloat and, and made my lineup cash last week, like Romo Dunay and just the volume that Romo Dunay is getting from Caleb Williams is worth it. I believe I've got him in my lineups, but I'm not necessarily stacking this game just because I feel like everyone is on this game. So I want a couple parts of it, but that's about it. Any cheap plays in here that, that you're liking.

No, I love I think he's one of those players that two weeks into the season, his price just isn't catching up quick enough. He's still at 5,300 and a great value. I really like CD here as like one of those potential. complete slate records because he has not caught a touchdown yet. He thrives against man coverage and Chicago doesn't really blitz much either, so that is gonna be a lot of time for Dak to pick apart this defense. And I think CD Lam is just kind of due for one of those monster games.

I think he definitely is. I'll throw another name out there. I like Javonte Williams. He's, he's their running back. I like running backs that really aren't sharing and he's not sharing, and I think he should do pretty well in this game as well. Any cheap plays

I think you can go with Zacchaeus. Zacchaeus does get a little bit of a bump against that heavy zone coverage, cowboys defense, and a lot of people are just gonna be going straight for DJ Moore, if they want an alternative off O Dunes. So. Zakia is very cheap. He's in the three K range, so if you need a pump play to pay up other wear, then you can go with Zakia to get a piece of this 50 point

Yeah, we went with him with Zacchaeus last week. We talked about him then too, and I think we're just waiting. He's one of those players that's going to have good games and then most of the time he is gonna have four points. So we had four points last week, maybe this week. Week three is his, uh, bigger day and. 3,400, I think he's at 3,400.

Yeah.

yeah, 3,400. He's one of the few players that dropped in price last week, so he's definitely an option there. Let's move it on to Denver at the Chargers. Chargers are favored by two and a half and the over under drops to 45 and a half. Cortland Sutton was worth 1.6 points last week, and Troy Franklin, 24 points. How, what are we supposed to get from that?

Honestly, I wouldn't read too much into it. We still know, sudden is the clear number one for this team, and we always see this with Sean Peyton. He loves like. a game plan for just a random player that day. And so we've seen like Marvin Mims games in the past. Troy, Frank Franklin was last week, and we just find, we've seen games with, BELE last season. So you'll have these random names pop up and especially given a young, talented, wide receiver, like people want to buy in, but I think it's more just smoke than there's actually fire there.

Yeah, I, I like Cortland Sutton to bounce this week. This is gonna be a competitive game and both teams are going to need all of their top weapons. So I, because of that reason, I like Cortland Sutton to, to get. Back to normal from the the down week last weekend. And then Jim Harbaugh, got his running back, but everyone seems to know that he's going to run the ball. So, hey, guess what? We've got Justin Herbert and we're going to let him just throw 30 times. And he's really accurate and he's really good.

That one down for Quinn Johnston was just beautiful, like 50 yards down the field on the money. But, I think it is kind of telling too that this is the second highest over under, and I think we would both agree that Denver and the charters have two top 10 defenses, so this is the second highest over under. We have a lot of faith in these offenses still having success here.

Yeah, this game, has been a challenge for me. 'cause at first I'm like, oh, this just stinks of defense. It's another divisional game. They're just going to shut each other down and we could get our nine to six game. And then the more that I thought about it. Uh, the more the chargers seem willing to do whatever they need to do to win and Denver as well. So they're letting their quarterbacks air it out. And if there's ever a situation where you, you think that. You're going to need to pass it going into this game. Seems like it should be it. And they should both come out trying to, to have that shootout because that's how I think they win. We also have a couple wide receivers, like we mentioned, Cortland Sutton, but Lad McConkey hasn't been there the last two weeks, and so now we've got two wide receivers that are really talented. That need to get back to normal, and this could be their game. I don't mind stacking this game just a little bit. I like Herbert in it. I could even go bow nicks, but, um,, because the, the chargers are probably gonna. Harass Bo Nixon and he will be running his legs. Give him definitely, an advantage. But that's another thing on Herbert I didn't realize last week. I think he was the third top rushing quarterback He ran seven carries for 31 yards. That was week one. He was very aggressive last week as well. Running, what did he have, last week?

he had 32 yards and it has been, he was running in game one two against the chiefs.

That's, yeah.

him that he runs like a four four. He's as big as Josh Allen, like he can use his legs and he is just deciding to this year. So it is

in, in week two he led their team in rushing, which is one of the things that's kind of crazy. We we're seeing that more and more where your quarterback is leading your team in rushing. So it's a little bit concerning. Because of that, I do like stacking this game just a little bit with Herbert. And then trying to see if McConkey and Sutton have their games, their big games, and get, get back to normal. So those three pieces I do like.

the one last potential pivot, I think for the Broncos. Just try to read the tea leaves of who I think has Good matchup against us. Good Chargers defense, would be if they actually work in RJ Harvey. He's more of the receiving back. He hasn't gotten really any work, but I think tough suffering, a tough loss to the Colts yesterday. Might bring them back to the drawing board. He's looked really good in their touches, so he seems like he's going to have to be more involved at some point in the season. It's just whether or not he's gonna be trusted this early in the season.

Yeah. You think Sean Peyton can do it? I don't know.

especially with these rookies, you gotta call it before you see it, for that breakout game.

Yep. Well, this will be one week. I'm not on Joe Burrow. They, that solved its problem. So I'm not gonna, I, I'm usually like late to the party and I don't wanna be chasing, but anyhow, So let's move on to the Jets at Tampa Bay. Tampa Bay's favor by seven over under 45 and a half. Jets will be without, uh, Justin Fields, Tyra Taylor's starting. So that's kind of interesting in itself. Tyra Taylor is a bargain down at 4,800, although they already bumped him up. They were anticipating this with that justice field. Justin Fields' concussion. So they already bumped Tyra Taylor from 4,000 to 4,800, which makes him not quite. As inexpensive. Do you like any parts of this game? Obviously the Tampa Bay side, Bucky Irving, those, he has to be very tempting to put in the lineups.

Yeah, I am focusing more on the Russian game for Tampa Bay rather than their passing game. Um, the Russian game has looked great all season so far, and we even saw Rashad White have a great game. I am open to going back to Rashad White, especially because Bucky was kind of taking a beating in that last game. They're off a short rest on that Monday night game against Houston. So if they get up to a comfortable lead, I think we'd see a lot of Rashad White in that second half, uh, to kind of salt the game away. And as far as like a backup running back go, he's gonna get a lot of usage more than your other backup committee running back. I think he can be a good payoff at 5,100 for his price.

So Shawn Rashad White, I feel gets more involved. When it's a very competitive game. Therefore, I'm not going to be on the Rashad White bandwagon if this is just Tampa Bay does what they want. They're trying to run out the clock. I feel like this would be the perfect situation to bring in Sean Tucker and give him some carries and take the load off of both Bucky Irving and Rashad White. So he may be, you know, an extremely cheap. Play that could get some, uh, some carries as well in this game. But I, you know, I, I'm not in love with this game and there aren't really any parts that I've been trying to force into a lineup and I haven't been running outta money in my lineups that I've been building either. So I'm not looking for those really cheap plays.

Same. I think the consensus for this game is. Why? Why do I need to go here? And I like, I'm not really forced to, I'm not getting any values and it's not a great matchup. I'm also heavily leaning towards the under in this Jets Tampa Bay game, especially without fields.

Yeah, I think so too. Although Tyra Taylor, he does, he's not a bad quarterback and throws in some interesting, uh, upside.

Yeah.

If you're feeling it on that, that game. Uh, let's go on to Las Vegas. Raiders at Washington Commanders and Washington is favored by three and a half, uh, over under 44 and a half, so roughly the same. This one to me is another me game. The Raiders have been really boring and we're just not seeing, I thought it was gonna be like super exciting out of the Raiders this year, and it's kind of, you know, just. A beating to watch their games.

Yeah, it's, they've been off to a slow start. This line also moved a bunch earlier in the week before the Daniels news. It was about a seven point line, so I, I think Vegas is telling us that they don't think he's gonna play moving the line three and a half points.

Yeah. I don't think he's playing, but they're not gonna tell us till the end of the week. Um, is there anything that you like in this game? I mean, Washington without Jaden Daniels is no fun. And you know, maybe you could take parts of the Raiders. Can we see something out of Brock Bowers if he plays? There's just so many questions here. Or does Genti finally, you know, have a good game.

Yeah. With just a two game sample. So far, Vegas has been like the best team against the rush, but they've actually been pretty. against the pass. So I think Washington might lean on those quick hitting passes, like getting it to Deebo, getting it to Ertz, just keeping the chains moving, especially with the backup quarterback and trying to get some points. The other person that I wanna mention that is strictly only a play in tournaments is Dante Thornton, another rookie. But they're outside wide receiver and he's their speedster, he's their man beater. And Washington plays man at some of the highest rate in the league. And just like we saw with the Green Bay game, uh, those shots that love miss to Matthew Golden. They took two deep shots and he was just a little bit off, but they could have been big touchdowns. Thornton's gonna get those shots. We know Gino likes to take a couple of those long shots a game, and I think Thornton will be the recipient of those targets. It's just whether or not they connect,

So you have 'em in some of your lineups or.

he is. Yeah, kind of just a one-off piece in this game at 4.1. I wish he was a little bit cheaper. You know, it's.

Dante Thornton, why is he not like 3,700? But like we were saying, money has not been too much of an issue on the slate. So you can put 'em in on tournament lineups.

Yeah, and, and I, I think I like Genti the best, but at 6,700, I have other options that I like, but again, we might be late to the party if we don't play Genti this week. Let's move on to Pittsburgh at New England. New England is favored by one over under 40, 44 and a half, two bad defenses. Can this be our very competitive game?

Honestly, I think it can like, yeah, like you were saying, new England and Pittsburgh have not shown anything. Uh, new England almost blew the game to Miami is if, uh, eight chan actually stayed in bounds and then

has, for how much they paid their defense. They're allowing a lot of points every single week.

It's really hard for me to get in that mindset that Pittsburgh's defense isn't that good.

versus Tomlin. You think this game's gonna be like 30 points?

Yeah, so we should see Aaron Rogers passing again, and we're the only other thi, the only thing I'm sure of is that Caleb Johnson may not even see the field after he fumbled that. Was it a fumble last week on the kickoff?

I don't know what they counted it, but he just didn't get the kickoff. Yeah.

Yeah, just gave the ball to him. So, or they recovered it in the end zone and, and got the touchdown. He didn't realize it was a live ball. So he, I, I don't know if he gets to even get on the field this week. But Aaron Rogers, yeah, he could be some value here. He's 5,200. Any Aaron Rogers?

We've seen one really good game from Rogers and one really bad, I, am leaning away from him. Even if he is above average, just as a true pocket passer, he's not offering you anything on the ground. It seems hard to pay off that price tag compared to some of the other values we have. The one person I am looking to go back to is maybe dk, there's no Christian Gonzalez still for the Patriots, so they like to play man, and DK is really good against man. I can see him having a bounce back game week.

Yeah. The other thing, I think we are getting kind of a value for the two starting running backs here because everyone was so excited about the rookie replacements, um, of Warren. So we got Jalen Warren at 5,400 and he had a pretty great game against Seattle last week. And then Armand looked great at getting 142 yards. He's down at 5K, so he is

clear lead running back for this team.

Yeah, that, that is a good point. Both of these defenses are, are questionable. So, uh, we could go to the running backs. This is a game that I think deserves consideration if you're gonna, if you're looking to stack something that could be a really has potential

yeah, no one's, aren't looking to stack Pittsburgh, new England.

Yeah. Uh, let's move on to the Los Angeles Rams at the Philadelphia Eagles. This game's super interesting to me. Philly's favored by three and a half, over under is 44 and a half. Uh, I, I, at first I wasn't going to stack this game. Stafford doesn't run. There's so many reasons to say no to all the pieces of this game, but Stafford's been looking good. Do you like any Puka or Devonte Adams in your lineups?

I am kind of avoiding this game at all costs. It's kind of like Philly game last week, but Philly just seems to be killing fantasy points where they refuse to give him on their end and they refuse to give them up. They have a really good defense, it took Adams getting hyper targeted in the red zone to get a touchdown. I think he had

Yeah.

Red zone targets, it was ridiculous. They'd get down to the three and then I'd only target him. I don't think we'll have too many opportunities. I just think it's gonna be a slog like we saw from the Eagles chiefs game and kind of rinse, repeat if they keep winning that way.

Yeah, I think so too. How about on the Eagle side? Is anyone gonna break out? Are we just gonna see Hertz and Saquon run the ball and that's all they do?

Yeah, I mean, it, it should be AJ Brown. Like we didn't have Goddard last week. Devonte Smith was banged up and he still had a bad game, so until proven otherwise, I don't know if it's that new play caller, I don't know what it is, but they seem very content on tush, pushing their way to a couple first downs, getting enough point, getting to 20 points, and hoping they win.

AJ Brown did have eight targets and five receptions, but 27 yards. That's not what we expect from AJ Brown. So until something gets going in that passing game, I think I'm going like, like you are, I'm, I'm gonna stay away. And that just means that their defense is gonna have to step up and their defense is playing well. So this is just a fantasy thing. Kill her place.

it's no fun. Uh, how about Houston at Jacksonville? Jacksonville's favored by one and, uh, over, under is 44. Jacksonville lost to the Bengals without Joe Burrow last week. Um, another divisional standoff in this game, you think? Or can Houston get something going?

I think so, and like you brought up earlier, sometimes with these divisional games we either see just they know each other pretty well and complete defensive shutdowns, or we see like true fireworks and they go off to 70 points like the Giants. But I think it's much more likely, these are two great defenses if we're looking at like their PU pass rush. Win rate. Texans are number one. The Jags are number five in the lake so far, and the Texans have a terrible O line. So I think that really just comes down to a lot of punts coming up in the forecast.

Yeah, I think so too. This is not a game that I am, I, I'm looking to do, do anything on Houston. Had that lost to Tampa Bay. They didn't particularly make Tampa Bay look great, but Tampa Bay got it done when they needed to. And.

have a couple first round fantasy wide receivers with Nico and Brian Thomas, Jr. You think both of them have underperformed so far? Do you think we see any potential bounce back? Brian Thomas Jr. Had the targets. Uh, he was getting schemed open, but it just didn't convert into fantasy points last week.

I am not willing to, to jump on this one. Yet. So I, I don't feel like this is the place that, uh, that either of these wide receivers get. Right. Um, I'd go Nico a little bit more over Brian Thomas Jr. 'cause I feel like he's had his opportunities and Nico hasn't.

Yeah, I'm out. Uh, let's move on then to Arizona. At San Francisco. Can't believe both of these teams are two and oh. To start the year, San Francisco's favored by one and a half, over under 43 and a half. And I Are we missing Brock Purdy again this week?

We are, yeah, he is gonna be out again this week and I'm very surprised. The 49 ERs are favorite. Like if you told me that you kind of have a Healthy Cardinals, at least Healthy Cardinals offense, their defense took some hits last week, but Healthy Cardinals offense and then against M Jones? No, George Kittle. Gonna be basically M Jones CMC and Ricky Pearsall out there. 'cause Juwan Jennings is also banged up. I'm that they're favorite in this matchup.

I am too. They seem to always play them really well. I think the Cardinals haven't shown us a whole lot. They've been disappointing in their first two, two games this season, and I think that's kind of what's holding, you know. Points down and favored on San Francisco. I did go back and look at these teams, over the last six seasons. They've played 12 times, twice every year, and only two of those times were. The, were the total points in the game under the, over under of 43 and a half. The other 10 times they were all over, they've scored as many as 74 points in games and 74, 71 62. So this could end up being the game that we wanna be on. I, I'm a little worried about all of the injuries and the lack of production for the Cardinals, and I think you had mentioned about James Connor in week two. You know, he didn't look good. We thought he was going to kill them, and he didn't deliver.

Yeah. James Connor. His, I mean, the first two matchups were against New Orleans and the Panthers both have bottom five defensive lines and they should have been able to run all over them. And he had 23 carries for 73 yards, so. About like two and a half a carry there. And typically whenever we see this decline with aging running backs, you know, he is 30, they don't typically bounce back. Benson has been far more effective, but is on a very limited sample. He is not getting the work. I still think Connor is gonna be the lead, but if we continue to see this as a pattern watch for Benson to get more and more work.

I think those 23 carries are over the first two weeks. Last week he only had, yeah, he only had 14 carries last week. And then Trey Benson, who we were both all over thinking he was going to get a lot of workpage. He carried the ball three times.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind 73 yards a game, but 73 yards combined in those two

Combined. Yeah. The, these are crazy numbers and we like Trey Benson, but he, he's missing too. They're ru rushing Kyler Murray almost as much as they are running, both of their running backs, which isn't a good way to succeed. And maybe they do change it this week, but we just haven't seen a lot of success. They almost lost that game to the Panthers last week.

They do, and something that was a trend like last year was the Cardinals always played their opponent. No matter who their opponent was. You know, they lost two. The Panthers last year, and then they almost beat Buffalo in that same season. So maybe we get a shootout here of both teams actually show up and they get paced. But that would be asking a lot for Mac Jones. Do you think there's anyone on the 49 er side that can help deliver that outcome?

Uh, uh, I mean, yeah, you can always lean on Pearsall and uh, CMC to help win the game for you, but I'm not sure that we're going to get the fantasy production that's needed at their price tags. Pearsall is a little bit more tempting because he is at five, uh, 5,500.

At the same time, I don't really buy into Mac Jones and I don't think we're gonna get those longer plays that we need. It should be lots of little passes, for Mac Jones. So I'm just gonna skip this game. I have other places I do like,

alright, let's go to Indianapolis. At Tennessee Titans. Indie starting the year two and oh, that's kind of fun. And the titans are oh and two. Indie's favored by three and a half. Line is 43 and a half. I did like what I saw last week outta Cam Ward. He looked much better than he did in week one. I do think this game is interesting. Do you have interest in this game?

I do, but I think most people are gonna attack it from Jonathan Taylor. He had a monster game last week. He looked great against Denver and. I kinda wanna flip it and go more of the passing game for these two teams and maybe get pieces of the cols passing attack that has looked very efficient with Daniel Jones. And then maybe bring back with one of those emerging Tennessee players with a a like IO Manor who finally got in the end zone last, last week.

He did. So I do like, I, like I I mander. I can't say his name. I get tongue tied on that. But, anyhow, he had a, a really good game with his six targets and his touchdown. I think we see more of him and he is really starting to develop with Cam Ward. I think Cam Ward's first win is coming sooner rather than later. I'm hoping it doesn't happen this week, but I, I think we're, we're already getting closer to it happening. Bow Next passed for three touchdowns last week against Indy. Can Cam Ward do it?

I don't really think he can. I kinda like the Cold Sea defense because we've already seen them generate a lot of turnovers. He, I mean, Bo Nick also threw for a pick. There was a couple other turnover worthy plays, and then. The first week too. It couldn't do anything against his col defense. So Anna Ruo, that col defensive coordinator has throws up, throws lots of changeups, like, especially for a young rookie quarterback. I think that might be too much to deal with in his first start seeing a lot of these formations, and packages. But, so I kind like the Colt's defense here, but I think Colt's passing attack still has some, some juice.

I think it does. And yeah, they get their interception and maybe a pick six. But what I have seen on the Titans is that they are willing to. Let Cam Ward throw it. He, he doesn't have the training wheels on. They're letting him throw it 30 times, 30 plus attempts, and they seem to be trying to win and stay in those games and letting him learn because of that. The, uh, the one name I wanna bring up to is Michael Pitman. He's below 5K. He's 4.9, and he should have a much easier time against the cornerbacks for Tennessee rather than being lined up against Pat Ctan last week. And he's just super cheap for his usage. He. Tennessee plays so much zone coverage and that's where Pitman thrives just being where Jones is expecting him. I think Pitman and Warren are probably gonna be the most critical pieces, especially for 4.9 for a wide receiver, one that seems too, too cheap.

It. It does seem too cheap. I do like Michael Pittman. I like Daniel Jones. He comes with that rushing ability as well. He rushed for a touchdown last week so he can get you an extra touchdown on the ground as well. So pairing him up with Michael Pittman. That's. You know, just over 10 k,

pretty affordable. Let's move it on to Atlanta at Carolina. Atlanta's favored by five over under 43. In my head, this over under should be much higher, but I guess it is the Falcons defense that is bringing the total down when, Carolina can't get out of their own way. They only seem to play the the second half of the game, and they put themselves in a pretty big hole to try to climb out of.

The formula for Carolina's fantasy value has been kind of garbage time and prevent defenses and other teams get in the early lead, and we might see that again here. The Falcon's defense. We also have years and years of them never having a pass rush, and now we have two games. So it does seem a little quick that everyone is buying that they're now just like a top five defense. Maybe it's, maybe JJ McCarthy isn't that good. We'll see. But the Falcons. Will have an easier time against that Carolina front that just sent two of their key offensive linemen to ir, so their center and their right guard got sent to ir. I'm a little bit worried about Carolina being able to keep pace because of that,

Yeah, I don't think that they can keep pace. I haven't seen a whole lot out of them, and it's, it's been a little bit bad. Is every lineup going to have Bijan Robinson in it?

I think. He is kind of that. That key piece. I mean, you see Bijan, who's looked so good in his touches and they're trying to give him a bunch of work, especially a bunch of receiving work too. Algiers is getting some carries, but Bijan is getting so much work in the receiving game and against this Carolina defense. He has potential to go off.

Yeah, he can just break it loose and get into the end zone and not have to worry about ALJ or still stealing his touchdowns at the goal line. They'd have to stop him first, and I think Bijan can break some, some big runs in this game. So I, I have been using him. It's this one, even though it's like buried in the over under has gotta be a, another favorite to be stacking and have a lot of chalk in it. Do you like the stack of maybe Bryce Young and Tmac trying to catch up and garbage time and then also bring in maybe Tavian Sanders and Bejan on it?

Yeah, I do like that option. I think it's kind of a creative way too, and like not only do you get the garbage time aspect that's kind of worked the past couple weeks, but like what if they just don't have a good pass rush and he has a little bit more time than people think that people are discounting their depth at offensive line and. Has been the one kind of bright, spot for this Panthers team. I think he's actually looked really good in his first couple starts and he is that clear number one for the

So I like him. Sanders also got a heavy workload if they get behind, I think he'll continue that trend.

I think so too. Anyone on the Falcon side that you like? I should you I, my judgment on the Falcons is not good. We saw that last week when in our pick league, I went 15 and one, and the Falcons were the one that I lost. So I don't have good judgment when it comes. To the, yeah, they are definitely a blind spot. Usually the Colts are a blind spot, but the Falcons are also a blind spot for me. I'm not usually in on their players. I like Bijan Robinson though, in this game.

we saw such a run heavy approach for the Falcons, and I want to know if that's the truth, or Minnesota has such a unique defense. Brian Flores is down for such a, like his exotic blitz packages and blitzing at such a high rate. That I wonder if that. Run game approach and just leaning into the run and leading into B Jon and Algire was just to try to limit that and keep that at bay and avoid all the negative plays. So against the Panthers defense, I think it, you have an opportunity to say that was just a game plan. Drake, London is getting an elite target share. He is getting 30% target share. It just depends on if he's gonna have any passing volume to be a relevant wide receiver. So he's at six k, he's not getting priced like an elite option. You do have to call it and just say that they're gonna have a different game plan going against the Panthers. But, an interesting option there.

It's, it is kind of interesting and Michael Pennex is. The opposite of Cam Ward. We were talking about how they are perfectly fine letting Cam Ward throw, throw it over 30 times. Pennix has got the little guardrails on and he's like limited to the low twenties. You are not going to throw this ball. So, even though Drake London's getting 30%, 30% of 20 is just not that good.

yeah, and it's weird because pennix strengths are like down the field and pushing the ball down the field. So I wonder if we see more and more as the season goes on. I hope so. But that's kind of the only option that this game actually goes off.

Yeah. Alright, let's move on to another game that I don't like. Green Bay Packers at the Cleveland Browns, yet another divisional game. Obviously Green Bay is favored by eight. It's probably a. Even more. I think it, maybe it started higher. I've heard, or I've seen as much as 11 or 12, um, over under 42 and a half. That seems really high, but maybe Green Bay is going to score 42 points on their own. The Green Bay defense obviously pay up $3,700. I like their defense. Anything you like in, in this game?

I really like both these defenses. I think it's kind of a shame that Cleveland's had to go against Cincinnati, Baltimore and now Green Bay and because I think their defense is also one of the best in the league. They just held Derrick Henry to 23 yards. They held Chase Brown, for 43 yards on 21 carries the week before. So I think I'm kind of taking Josh Jacobs out of my player pool.

than that. There's a couple interesting options if you want to call your shot with the Green Bay wide receivers. So we don't have Jaden Reed, that's one less mouth to feed in that offense. Especially if they can't run the ball and they have to pass to have any success, then who's it gonna be? Is it gonna be Golden Dobbs, Davian, Wix? Do you have any lean there or are you avoiding all three?

Yeah, my crystal ball of which wide receiver it is this week for Green Bay, I don't have one. I, they're always a mystery and so I just kind of steer clear, but that is a good way to get different, you know. Pick one of these guys and go with 'em. I don't see this being our high scoring game though.

I think what I had to choose, it'd be Davian Wicks. He filled in the most into that slot roll after Reid went down, but they have had a long week. That was the Thursday night game to kind of shift. So Davian Wicks and Matthew Golden. It's just who I think have the biggest opportunity to step into that role. The,

Do you like the brown defense?

I think you could do worse. They're the cheapest defense on the slate. So if somehow you wanna pay up, if like you really want CD and Bijon and Justin Jefferson and pay for a super star heavy build and you need the savings, this could be a slower game and they're gonna get some sacks. I mean, you got Miles Garrett coming for you, so you can always get a sack fumble and get a turnover. Even against Green Bay. I think you can do worse at 2200 if you really need those savings. The only other Cleveland play is Fanin. Fanin is just getting the rookie tied in. He's at

K and he's just getting so many targets. He's so involved in this offense, and it's a lot of the targets that you can't take away. They're behind the line of scrimmage. They're short targets that he's gonna get his work. So 3.6, he doesn't have a high ceiling. But he is not gonna fail. You there,

I mean, that's true. All right. Eh, I don't know. I'm gonna probably stay away from this one. Let's move on to Cincinnati at Minnesota. Cincinnati, two one. Oh. Now without Joe Burrow and Minnesota without,

so Minnesota's favored by three over under is 41 and a half. I, I'm. Oddly interested in this game. In the backup quarterbacks, we have Carson Wentz for the Vikings, and then we have Browning for the Bengals, who last year, you know, he was almost 50 50, so it, it's not awful. In the battle of the backups and they provide some mystery and they're cheap.

last year or last week, we saw a lot of success. If you went to Mac Jones, he had that 4K price range, that bottom price, and he's threw for three touchdowns. They don't need to do a lot. They don't need to offer any running game at that cheap price. So Carson wins if you just get it in the hands of Justin Jefferson. He could have a great day. So four KI am happy to go to Wince. I haven't been doing a lot of builds that way just with how it has kind of worked out, but I'm happy to make a couple options there. I also think a key decision there is what are we gonna do with Jordan Mason? He seems almost like a free square at 5,400 with that backfield to himself. With no. Aaron Jones. How are you making that decision?

I like Jordan Mason. He is kind of one of those free squares that you can pair along bee on, and now you can afford both of them.

he's a great option against the Beals defense. You know, we're gonna see if the teams can stay motivated, particularly this week, because at least they're not going into a situation where, the other team doesn't have equal injury. So maybe they, both teams can keep up their motivation for this week, but it's gotta be mentally. Troubling to have Joe Burrow go out for three months and you have to be wondering, you know, what am I playing for? Or you get really motivated and you start stopping things and this is going to be a battle of nothing. And no scoring 'cause they're both motivated and stopping each other probably for that reason. I've been more out, but I, I do have interest in, in the game.

I think I've been leaning about every single one of my lineups. I've had a Vikings and I've been about 60 40 with the decision of having Aaron Jones my lineup, 60 in favor of keeping Jones in it because. You think they just want to help out wi and get that run game going? He's actually looked pretty great and I think in those run plays

Wait, you mean Jordan Mason did? You said Aaron Jones? Yeah.

Mason without Aaron Jones. So 60% having Jordan Mason in my lineup, but the 40% I like Justin Jefferson. I think he's gonna get kind of lost here and no one's gonna want him 'cause he has a backup quarterback. We saw what Jamar Chase can do with a backup quarterback. Justin Jefferson is talented enough to get a backup quarter, get it done with a backup quarterback, and we're against the Cincinnati defense that we like to target.

But it's Carson Wince. I don't like Carson Wince. He likes to throw interceptions.

That's fine for us, then he is gonna be having to come back. We saw, Kevin O'Connell have fantasy value with a bunch of backups before that, I think were probably worse than wins.

That's true. All right, let's move on to our last game on the slate. New Orleans Saints at the Seattle Seahawks. Seattle is favored by seven and a half over under his lowest at. 41 and a half. Spencer Rattler is paying for himself on these slates, and I am interested in this game. I'm usually like out when we get to the bottom, but this week I feel like there's lots of value in these low total games. So Rattler paid for himself against the 49 ERs. He cost 4,800 and he scored over 21 Fantasy points this week. He's only 4,900. You know, maybe he and Olave, who's seeing 10 plus targets each game are a good stack option,

Yeah, I think a lave hasn't produced what he's expected to with those targets and that workload. But I can't go Rattler with you. That's, that's, I can't go that far. I don't think I'm looking to stack this game. Maybe taking pieces with either a lave and then that rushing attack for Seattle.

the rushing attack is questionable for Seattle 'cause I was really ready to go on Zach Charnay, and then he had 15 rushing attempts and 10 yards.

Yeah, that was one of the worst outlines I've I've seen in a while.

Yeah, he was really bad. And New Orleans defense hasn't played awful. They've kept them in these games, so I, I don't know that, I wanna guess between Ken Walker and Zach Charnay, the only part of that Seattle offense that has been consistent is JSN. Do you have any interest in, in Jackson Smith? No. Jba.

Yeah. I think JS N should be more around seven K, so he's at six and a half right now, and he is just. They're clear, basically only wide receiver. I mean, he is getting 44% of the team's targets. He's second in the NFL in yards. He still doesn't have a touchdown yet too, so maybe that's why we don't think of him as this explosive wide receiver. But if that changes, then I'd rather be too early with a wide receiver that's talented and getting extreme work than too late.

That's why I like stacking this game. You gotta get behind this. You gotta, you gotta stack this one. I like Spencer Rattler to pay for himself. And you know, Sam Donald's not even bad. He's only 200 more at 5,100. And then we'll take both these wide receivers that are getting. Lots of target share and haven't quite crashed the end zone yet. Maybe they both get in.

Yeah, also get the, the revenge of Kubiak against the Saints. His,

Oh, that's true. Yeah, we get, we get that. So I have done a Spencer Rattler, lineup with, i, I did put in, I guess Ken Walker, so Rattler Walker, Bijan Robinson, Olave, JSN. I used Nico Collins 'cause he's getting a lot of targets. Noah Fan Hall Colts. That's not my favorite, but.

I like Ken Walker here. I I, he looked so good last week. He just needs a couple plays to break it off, and we know he can do that.

I think my favorite lineup as I was going through was actually just it was kind of the obvious one. I kind of made like an obvious one that felt really good and I know has no chance of winning because it's a little too predictable. But it was the Dallas stack of Prescott CD Lamb, George Pickens, and bringing it back with DJ Moore on the other side. I think he has a good matchup. And then the running backs, we talked about Bijan Jordan Mason. Call my shot with a Green Bay wide receiver to get different with Davian Wicks and then Tyler Warren and the Vikings defense to close it out on those last ones,

I like parts of it.

in Justin Jefferson, get in CD lamb, and get in Bij Bija Robinson. So you have a bunch of star power to put you over. Uh, and then leaning on cheap cults. So Daniel Jones, Michael Pittman, and Tyler Warren as kind of the saving stack. Um, and then LIC Io Manor on the other side with just that Texans defense and Jalen Warren rounding up the lineup.

Yeah, I'm gonna go back to that lineup I mentioned against the Charger or with the Chargers with Herbert McConkey and Sutton. That's definitely my favorite one. But there are lots of good pieces out there this week and there are lots of games that are surprisingly interesting and that not everyone's going to be on. So this is definitely a great week, I think, to figure out a way to get different.
