Can't believe it has been another year already.

And it has been such a great year for the around the House show.

And I just want to thank all of you people out there.

Yes, you, I'm talking to you that are listening to this show on the radio, on the podcast, on YouTube, streaming online, depending on where you're catching it, all of you have made this one of our most successful years of the show.

And that says a lot considering there have been 36 years of the show.

So I just want to say thank you to everybody out there that is catching the show.

We have some amazing new stuff coming up here in 2025 that I'm excited to.

We've got new guests.

We have some great trade shows.

We'll be going to to talking people about new products.

There is going to be so much going on that I'm so excited to share with you guys this next year.

It is going to be an epic one.

Before we get off into anything else here, I wanted to say there's a couple little recalls out there.

Chevron North America recalls skill 40 volt 5amp hour lithium ion batteries for Skill lawnmowers and outdoor tools due to fire or burn hazard.

So take a look at those.

That's a big one right there.

And I want to make sure that if you've got those that you take a look at that.

Follow the warnings over on that.

We covered a lot of these last week, so really there's not a ton of new stuff on there.

That's the big one.

To find out more, head to cpsc.gov but that's a new one that came out this week as well and that's an issue.

Other than that, it's just mostly other stuff.

Some power banks and stuff like that, but not common stuff.

And some plant playground equipment that doesn't really relate to your house.

You know, I just paid almost 18 bucks a sheet for drywall this last week for a TV shoot going down to my local Lowe's store.

Hopefully here in the next few months, we're gonna see some material prices go down, but we'll have to see some changes out there.

It's not going to happen super quick if it does happen in 2025, so I don't see prices changing too much in the first quarter, but maybe towards spring we might see something a little bit different.
