Let's get into our reading for today from the Revelation 15:1 4 Reading from the message the song of Moses, the song of the Lamb.

I saw another sign in heaven, huge and breathtaking.

Seven angels with seven disasters.

These are the final disasters, the wrap up of God's wrath.

I saw something like a sea made of glass, the glass all shot through with fire, carrying harps of God triumphant over the beast, its image and the number of its name.

The saved ones stood on the sea of glass.

They sang the song of Moses, servant of God.

They sang the song of the lamb, Mighty your acts and marvellous, O King, the sovereign, strong, righteous your ways and true King of the nations who can fail to fear you.

God give glory to your name because you and you only are holy.

All nations will come and worship you because they see your judgments.

All right, that ends this reading of the scripture which we're exploring, this powerful vision from the Book of Revelation that speaks to matters of divine justice, collective liberation, and the power of sacred resistance.

So let's get into some points to ponder.

The first one is reimagining divine justice.

While traditional interpretations often focus on the punishment and wrath aspects of this passage, I believe this passage invites us to see God's justice through a liberation lens.

The seven disasters noted here can be understood as the dismantling of oppressive systems that harm creation and humanity.

So this isn't about vengeance, it's about restoration and making things right.

The second point is the power of collective resistance.

The image of people standing on a sea of glass having triumphed over the beast, reminds us that resistance to empire and systematic injustice is deeply spiritual work.

The harps they carry suggest that art, music and creativity are powerful tools in the work of social transformation.

The third point to ponder is about universal inclusion and radical welcome.

The declaration in this passage that all nations will come in worship points to a vision of radical inclusivity.

So this isn't about religious supremacy, but about a universal recognition of justice, truth and love as the fundamental forces that shape our world.

Here's our action step for today.

Choose a system of oppression that concerns you.

It could be climate or injustice, economic inequality, a systematic political racism.

Write down your own song of liberation.

So this could be a poem, an actual song, a prayer, maybe a social media post that speaks truth to power while celebrating hope and resistance.
