Speaker BSince there's so many sales principles and, you know, techniques, we've been doing so much role playing for closing sales, all the things in the interviews.
Speaker BI'm going to do a focus for personal growth for a little bit because it's some of the key elements to an individual.
Speaker BYou know, there's six, basically, if you imagine your life is like a wheel, you know, sales is not the performance of an hour, it's the overflow of a life.
Speaker BIf you have some suffering in your mindset or suffering in some components of your life, it will reflect in your cells numbers.
Speaker BSo the six elements are this.
Speaker BAnd if you want to do a self analysis, do this exercise.
Speaker BGo through these six elements, give yourself a rating of 1 to 10 in each of these elements and then come up with an average.
Speaker BIf you're averaging less than like an 8.5 to an 8.8, you need to focus on some of the areas to get it up above that.
Speaker BIf you're up above that, then you're vibing high.
Speaker BYour energy introduces yourself before you walk into the room.
Speaker BI learned this exercise.
Speaker BI paid a lot of money for a couple years.
Speaker BI had a business coach who actually one of his students was Oprah Winfrey for a while.
Speaker BAnd so I learned a lot from, from this gentleman and I'm super blessed to be able to pass it forward to you.
Speaker BSo the six elements are of course, your cell skills.
Speaker BThat's one element.
Speaker BBut the other five are equally important.
Speaker BThe second one is your relationships.
Speaker BThe third one is your spiritual practice.
Speaker BThat can be if you're some sort of a believer.
Speaker BIf you go to church, it can be a meditation practice.
Speaker BIt can be whatever your spiritual mindfulness is.
Speaker BBut whatever applies to you, you have to do it right.
Speaker BSo spiritual, your personal growth.
Speaker BWhat are you listening to?
Speaker BIf you're listening to this podcast, that's a good start.
Speaker BBut also what Book are you reading or on Audible?
Speaker BWhat books are you growing with?
Speaker BAre you attending seminars?
Speaker BAre you attending courses?
Speaker BAre you attending the Profit Rocket event?
Speaker BAre you attending any kind of events to grow yourself, to grow your mindset?
Speaker BAre you getting around people who have already done what you want to do?
Speaker BBecause success leaves clues.
Speaker BSo that's four of the elephant elephants, four of the elements, that of the key components to the wheel.
Speaker BImagine these are hubs on a wheel.
Speaker BAnd if one suffers, that wheel is now deflated and it's wonky and it's kelunk, kelunk, kelunk down the road.
Speaker BThe other two are fitness and nutrition.
Speaker BYou have to treat your, your body as a machine.
Speaker BYou have to give it good fuel and take care of it to be able to perform at a high level.
Speaker BSo Those are the six areas.
Speaker BRate yourself on a score of 1 to 10.
Speaker BBe honest with yourself.
Speaker BSelf analyze, be authentically honest.
Speaker BAnd when you are, then take an average of those numbers and just really see where you're at.
Speaker BSelf realization is huge.
Speaker BSelf analysis is huge.
Speaker BAnd when you can do that, it will take you to the next level because now if you don't measure it, you can't manage it.
Speaker BAnd this is how to measure your life and what you're accomplishing and what you're doing.
Speaker BSo now that you've done that, what we're going to talk today is I started a book this morning by Brian Tracy called no Excuses.
Speaker BHighly recommend it, it's powerful.
Speaker BNo Excuses by Brian Tracy.
Speaker BGet the audible.
Speaker BI'm doing it on Audible.
Speaker BRead the book either way.
Speaker BBut it's talking about self awareness.
Speaker BIt's talking about self discipline, the most important success principle, self discipline.
Speaker BIt's the ability to do what you should do when you should do it, whether you feel like it or not.
Speaker BAgain, self discipline is the ability to do what you should do when you should do it, whether you feel like it or not.
Speaker BYou know, there's thousands of other success principles, but without self discipline, none of them work.
Speaker BThey.
Speaker BBut with self discipline, they all work.
Speaker BSo we're talking about consistency, we're talking about the ability to do what you said you were going to do.
Speaker BHold to your word.
Speaker BSelf discipline is the key to personal greatness, right?
Speaker BIt's the magic, the magic quality that opens all doors for you and makes everything else possible.
Speaker BSo definitely it, it's that core value.
Speaker BYou know, I learned something recently from a man named Rock Thomas.
Speaker BHe was, he's one of the Tony Robbins trainers.
Speaker BAnd he was saying, like, let's stop talking about goal setting so much and let's start talking about setting personal standards.
Speaker BWhen you have a personal standard of say, nutrition, McDonald's is not even on your radar.
Speaker BFast foods is not even on your.
Speaker BFast food is not even on your radar.
Speaker BBecause my personal standard is I feed my body the right fuel to perform at a high level.
Speaker BYou don't put cheap gasoline in a race car.
Speaker BIt's not going to perform if you cannot have a millionaire mindset and eat off the dollar menu.
Speaker BSo you have to perform.
Speaker BYou can't perform at that level.
Speaker BYou can't have a, you know, filet mignon, you know, lifestyle with Happy Meal, you know, with a hamburger meat work ethic, you know, you just cannot do that.
Speaker BYou have to, you have to be in alignment with the person that you want to become.
Speaker BThis is the, I hate the term fake it till you make it, but it really applies.
Speaker BStudy successful people and just do what they do and soon enough your belief system will just say, I am that person.
Speaker BSo it's about becoming that person.
Speaker BAnd then once you have done that long enough, your standards change, you reset your own thermostat and your own belief system.
Speaker BSo you just perform at that level.
Speaker BI guarantee you, you take somebody who is a, you know, we hear all the time, well, I could make those kind of sales if I lived in that market, if I lived in that city, if I lived in the south, if I lived in the north, if I lived in the desert.
Speaker BBut we all know, I guarantee you, you take a 5 million dollar salesperson out of Arizona or Charlotte or Houston or wherever you are, and you drop them in another city, no matter what part of the country they're going to be in a very short amount of time.
Speaker BStill, a five million dollar salesperson has nothing to do with the market.
Speaker BIt has everything to do with the level of person they became, the skills and the muscle that they built to become that person.
Speaker BSo that's where their thermostat is set.
Speaker BAnd they're the ones that are constantly striving to do better.
Speaker BIt doesn't matter where they're at, it doesn't matter who they're working with.
Speaker BThey're going to be in alignment with a top company, of course, or start their own, it doesn't matter because that's the level of person they are.
Speaker BNow how do we become that?
Speaker BWe do what they do.
Speaker BWe study successful people.
Speaker BAnd this is one of the key principles to get you there.
Speaker BYou know, with self discipline, the average person can rise as far and as fast as his talents and intelligence can take him.
Speaker BBut without self discipline, a person with every blessing, background, education and opportunity will seldom rise above mediocrity.
Speaker BYou know, another term for self discipline is self mastery.
Speaker BIf you can master the little things in life, the consistencies, it's taking radical responsibility for every element of your life.
Speaker BAnd this is what we've been talking about lately a lot.
Speaker BTaking radical responsibility for your business, for your leads, for your appointments.
Speaker BWhen you have the shoulder months, what are you doing?
Speaker BHow are you using your time?
Speaker BAre you sitting around thinking, man, I wish the company gave me more leads.
Speaker BI guess I could just doordash until I get more leads.
Speaker BOr are you saying, how can I get in front of more people?
Speaker BCan I attend a networking group that has 50 people in it and talk to 50 people at once?
Speaker BWhen you go to those groups, are you setting up appointments with all the individuals there that could be great referral partners to fill your calendar up throughout the week with coffees, to ask how can I build your business?
Speaker BWhile they're asking how to build your business, that is one way to up level both your network and your net worth.
Speaker BYour network is your net worth.
Speaker BSo when you do this, you start to take radical responsibility for everything in your life.
Speaker BWe talked about how you can use all the downtime to go out and knock some doors.
Speaker BI'm about to record a whole series for exactly that because that's the biggest.
Speaker BMissing people, missing people, missing piece.
Speaker BMan, I'm so excited.
Speaker BMy words are coming out in bits and phrases today.
Speaker BSo.
Speaker BAnd you know, I don't, I don't edit this stuff out.
Speaker BI do this in one take because it's just real.
Speaker BYou guys, when you have me out to a site visit, we have the most fun.
Speaker BWhen I'm doing site visit and training for your company, we have the most fun because it's about being real and being authentic.
Speaker BIt's not about being a creepy salesperson.
Speaker BYou know, one of the things that I hear is, man, I don't, I don't.
Speaker BWe don't do a lot of sales training or technicians especially.
Speaker BBut salespeople, they're scared to ask those hard questions to homeowners.
Speaker BWell, they're not hard questions to the homeowners.
Speaker BIf you're asking them, right?
Speaker BThey're like, I don't want to come across as a, you know, the salesperson that nobody likes.
Speaker BWell, if you've, if you enter it with a servant's heart to help them and you're just asking clarifying questions, you're not coming across that way.
Speaker BYou're there to help them and they can feel it.
Speaker BAnd people never get offended.
Speaker BThey don't get mad if you're there to help them.
Speaker BSo quick side note, have me to your company for a site visit because it pays for itself right away.
Speaker BBut more importantly, man, people are doubling numbers immediately.
Speaker BWhen we're when people can see what's possible, when they see how big tickets can be, when they see what kind of close rates can look like, man, it's just, it's the best.
Speaker BIt's the best time.

Speaker BThat's my new tagline.
Speaker BIt sells on easy, sells on easy mode.
Speaker BBut it all starts with taking radical responsibility for yourself, for self mastery.
Speaker BSo do that exercise.
Speaker BWhere on the hub are you?
Speaker BRate yourself 1 to 10 on each of those six categories and take an average of that.
Speaker BAnd where do you fall?
Speaker BHow are you vibing?
Speaker BWhere are your numbers?
Speaker BWork daily to get those numbers up.
Speaker BMake a make yourself a plan in your self analysis.
Speaker BWhat can I do to improve my relationships?
Speaker BDo I need to read or listen to a book to learn how to communicate better to my partners and my children?
Speaker BDo I need to talk to a nutri?
Speaker BAnd I'll tell you the cheat code for nutrition use Chat GPT.
Speaker BThey basically will line you out.
Speaker BAn entire nutrition plan, recipes, ingredient lists, all that.
Speaker BYou don't even need to, you know, if you're just starting, start there.
Speaker BI mean, play with that.
Speaker BGet going.
Speaker BAs your self confidence improves with your consistency in nutrition and exercise and your relationships, your spiritual practice, when you start setting tiny goals and tiny personal standards that you would have to try hard not to achieve, when you consistently can do that, your confidence builds, your belief in yourself will rise.
Speaker BAnd as your belief in yourself rises, your certainty in what you're doing will also increase.
Speaker BSo man, I'm pumped today.
