Cosmo Solutions eight. I'm here to tell you about a mistake that I made. It's a little embarrassing to be honest with you. We just got finished running a very aggressive promotion, telling everybody that they can buy the you versus Google. for 99 cents on March 1st, which might be today if you're watching this video on March 1st. that was our intention and we've done it before in the past. It's a great way to use the Amazon algorithm, get yourself to the number one best seller spot, and also put people in a position to give you verified reviews. So you get a bunch of people all lined up, ready to go. They buy the book. They do it for super cheap and then now you can go beg for reviews and you look like the books are flying off the shelves. what's really interesting is once you're in the best seller spot, you actually sell more books, which is one of those interesting self-fulfilling prophecies. But here's what happened. Amazon won't let us list the book at 99 cents because the file type is too big. So we've done it in the past, so I knew it was possible, but because the book is so robust, like when we did it in the past, we did. One of my little rinky-dink books. And this book is just so robust that I guess for whatever reason, Amazon has decided that file sizes over a certain threshold can't be 99 cents. And so they're like, well, you can decrease the file size, but if we do that, we'd have to compress the images. And the book is so image heavy that I'm like, man, we're gonna kill the user experience and then we're gonna go sell people a bunch. Obnoxiously horrible copies just to sell the books. Here's what we decided. We're just going to give you the book. you know, I've been promising, literally now thousands of people that have opted in that they're gonna be able to buy the book for 99 cents, and I don't feel right. Not fulfilling on that. So what we've done is we've created an opt-in form where you can just go to soly.com/freebook soly.com/free book. I'll put a link in the description and you can have a PDF copy of the book for free. pretty happy about doing this anyway, first of all, we're not gonna. Our money on the books, we wanna get the word out there. And if people benefit from it, great. And if they hire us, great. And if they subscribe to our YouTube channel, great. If you are still interested in helping us you can buy the book for 2 99. That's the lowest Amazon would let me list. This book is two 90. And what I'd really love if you are so inclined is if you wouldn't mind going and buying the book for 10 99. And then the key here, by the way, is to actually, read the book. Because if you buy the book and then immediately try to write a review, Amazon kills those reviews. But if you buy the book and it sees, and Amazon sees you paging through it over a couple of days, and then you come back and write a review, those reviews end up being real. And Amazon will let us keep those reviews and the reviews make or. Books over the course of the long term. to fulfill in our promise, because I don't wanna be a liar. You can have the book for free. I just know that it's gonna get jacked anyway. Every time we've ever put anything out there from an info product perspective that we try to charge for, people end up ripping it off. The paperback book, which don't understand this at all by the way, I have it listed at $30. Amazon's automatically discounted that for some reason. The paperback book is full color and super robust. You can capture that too, but you can buy the Kindle book and give us a review after having read it or at least read a little bit of it I would be forever grateful to you and for you. that's not in your budget for whatever reason uh, which by the way, I'm not being funny, I realize that, three bucks depending on where you are in. Just might not be accessible. Take the PDF with my blessings.
