If you're gonna let somebody deal with your trauma, you need to know
Speaker:that they have some form of understanding. When
Speaker:I first started going down this path, I just couldn't resonate with
Speaker:the word coach. The stigma behind a coach
Speaker:had been overused and also under-delivered. I've
Speaker:had friends myself that have paid thousands of dollars
Speaker:that have just been opened up and then left. And it's
Speaker:because these coaches couldn't deal with
Speaker:the trauma. Welcome to Krystal Rowe Impacts, a
Speaker:space dedicated to empowering you to be the change that
Speaker:your bloodline has been waiting for. Join me and together, let's
Speaker:inspire change. Welcome back to the Krystal Rowe Impact
Speaker:Podcast. And today I'm going to talk to you why I'm not
Speaker:your average coach and why coaching is
Speaker:so overrated. I don't know, maybe that's a
Speaker:bit of a bold statement, but I want to talk to
Speaker:you about what makes me different and why
Speaker:I decided to go on this path of becoming a
Speaker:coach or a mentor. And
Speaker:when I first started going down this path and realizing that my passion
Speaker:truly was to help and inspire people
Speaker:to become a better version of themselves and to start
Speaker:a business and to actually create a life by design, I
Speaker:just couldn't resonate with the word coach. I
Speaker:was just actually trying to come up with any term other
Speaker:than a coach because I knew that the stigma behind a
Speaker:coach had been one overused in the industry
Speaker:and also under delivered. And
Speaker:I've had friends myself that have paid thousands of
Speaker:dollars that have just been opened up and then left.
Speaker:And it's because These coaches couldn't
Speaker:deal with the trauma. They hadn't experienced
Speaker:or understood or had no insight onto
Speaker:what it really was to have such trauma
Speaker:unfold before them. And so when you
Speaker:actually have somebody that is dealing with trauma,
Speaker:you need to know, or if you're going to let somebody deal
Speaker:with your trauma, you need to know that they have some
Speaker:form of understanding, that they have some
Speaker:idea of what you could have experienced. Very
Speaker:quick story, when I was in the Women's Refuge, a part of the requirement
Speaker:and staying there was that we had to do
Speaker:one psychologist appointment every week. Every
Speaker:week. And unfortunately, this
Speaker:lady didn't have the skills to match
Speaker:my experiences. And she would start the
Speaker:sessions by saying, remember, I'm
Speaker:in a woman's refuge. So she would remind me that she was
Speaker:an experienced psychologist dealing with men in
Speaker:prison. While I'm in a woman's refuge, you
Speaker:want to tell me about men in prison. And that's your key skill.
Speaker:Not at the time, at the time I didn't judge her or anything, but
Speaker:every time I brought my issues to the
Speaker:table, she, she had nothing. And there were
Speaker:times that I would say something and she's writing down notes on,
Speaker:on my quotes or, or my, my lines. And
Speaker:I'm like, what the heck? And so I realized
Speaker:that there was no value here. So I
Speaker:would turn up and I would say the bare minimum
Speaker:and wait that hour and I would go on my way. And
Speaker:when I started on my self-healing journey and
Speaker:my coaching journey, knowing that that's the passion that I wanted
Speaker:to pursue, I started finding people that were already
Speaker:doing what I had done and figured out if they had
Speaker:a background story, if they knew what they were talking
Speaker:about, and how did they know what they were talking about. And
Speaker:the mythology within the Quantum Coaching Academy that
Speaker:I have my 12-week program through, it
Speaker:really resonated with me. It really
Speaker:stood out and I did the work, I
Speaker:did the processes myself and I actually got results.
Speaker:And that was a tick for me. So I said, yes, I
Speaker:can follow this person because they understand and
Speaker:they have created a mythology that actually works.
Speaker:It's worked upon thousands of people and it's transforming thousands
Speaker:of lives. And I had the opportunity to
Speaker:access that learning, and so I did. But
Speaker:not only do I have this mythology, I actually have
Speaker:life experience. I can relate
Speaker:to you, I can understand you, I can
Speaker:feel and experience most pain and
Speaker:most trauma and I do know what it's like
Speaker:to have nothing. I do know what it's like to
Speaker:be homeless and I know what it's like to
Speaker:grieve and I know what it's like to be
Speaker:alone. I know what it's like to have mental health issues
Speaker:and I know what it's like to be a drug addict and I
Speaker:know what it's like to be an alcoholic and I feel
Speaker:what it feels like when you don't have
Speaker:a relationship with yourself, with
Speaker:your parent. I get
Speaker:it. I know that life's fucking hard. And
Speaker:I know that life is cruel. Man, there
Speaker:was a time I had one potato to feed my kids. I
Speaker:had four, four kids to
Speaker:feed. So I get that life is tough.
Speaker:But what sets me apart from other coaches is
Speaker:that I can guide you through processes, I have
Speaker:collected information and I have resourced
Speaker:mythologies that can help you on your
Speaker:path to yourself. I
Speaker:can recognize your strengths when you don't see them, I
Speaker:can help you overcome self-doubt, I can help you
Speaker:improve your mindset for more mental clarity
Speaker:and I can just be
Speaker:here, hold space for you, so you
Speaker:can be yourself. As
Speaker:a coach, you are designed and you are trained to not judge
Speaker:people. But not everybody has
Speaker:that skill. And being
Speaker:judgemental, it's natural. So
Speaker:when you don't judge, it's a skill. And
Speaker:I believe that I
Speaker:went through everything I did in my life and overcame
Speaker:it. to be able to help you, to be
Speaker:able to serve you, to be able to show up in
Speaker:a judgment-free zone and hold space for you so that you
Speaker:can become the best version of yourself, that you can slowly bring
Speaker:down the walls and, you know, share, to
Speaker:release, to let go, and then to
Speaker:start learning and creating space that
Speaker:can improve your life. So
Speaker:if you're ready to become the best version of
Speaker:yourself, if you're ready to step up and
Speaker:say that this shit ends with me and that the generational trauma
Speaker:that you experienced that was transferred from your
Speaker:parents' legacy down to you will not transfer onto your
Speaker:children, then
