Welcome back to the Real Azz Players Podcast, Episode 6. I'm here with Chris and Cole so recently, Diddy, Sean Combs, was indicted on federal charges on pretty much everything you can think of under the book. And there's been some recent information surfacing about, uh, you know, how he was involved with other artists, especially when he was younger. Things found in his house. So how you guys feel about that. That's it. I don't really like I mean, the facts are there. He was like He had a whole like closet filled with baby oil and it was not only just like a couple bottles it was like a thousand I Just that's like bad that looks like And baby oil last a long time to one bottle like one bottle gets you like two three months like yeah Yeah, so he was like him. He was going through that shit. He was doing something like I don't even know I'm trying to like freak out. He was trying to do I think I mean like and you've seen the pictures of his house like with all the beds And he had like 50 feet beds in every single room like he had like a full NBA I was like a fully 50 foot bed in the backyard. Yeah, and then the NBA court It was like just a basketball court with like beds like yeah, which is like just in case you get tired Also, there's the conspiracies are starting to come down I don't know I mean personally I haven't done much research into like the solid evidence But people are saying he killed like Tupac Yeah, that's also a conspiracy. Conspiracy, yeah, like It could be true, but it could also just be like a dude Whoever really got convicted that one. I don't even know he got life right though, who like was convicted for his murder. I think so. I mean it would make sense What are y'all perspectives on Biggie and Tupac? I don't know, I mean personally I'm more of a fan of Tupac, like just who's better, or like, how I feel, I don't know, I feel like Tupac is like, has a better flow, has a better voice, has better storytelling, has a better flow. I don't know, I think, you gotta be in like, I think Tupac, the thing about his music is you can play that anywhere. You can play it at the function, you can play it alone. I feel like you gotta be in a certain mood for Biggie, personally. And I feel like Tupac got the variety, too. I mean, the time that Tupac and, Biggie were alive, I'd say, Tupac, he, dropped, more songs, which, got him more, Noticeable, I guess. I mean he's more popular than Biggie, but like I Don't know. I feel like for like hits and stuff Tupac definitely has like more hits than Biggie Hit that spit, okay, so y'all got any top fives? Y'all know any songs? Tupac mean by like Tupac obviously like changes I don't know. I'm trying to think of like I Don't know like any songs off like the top of my head, but I don't know I was just used to hearing them growing up. I never really personally Was big into them like I respect me. I just remember hearing it a lot as a kid. Yeah, I Got We missing another host of the podcast, Cordell. He, he MIA, but, say Tupac. I'll go top three. We got top three. I don't know. Top three troublesome. Keep your head up. It's tough. I don't know, I'm trying to think. Cause I, it's the variety that gets you stuck, cause it depends on how, what you feel. I mean, he got like sad songs too, but it's that one song called So Many Tears, I like, kinda like that song, cause the beat is cool, but So Many, yes, that's Maxi's tune. I think he 3 for probably, I don't know. Biggie we got. We got Sky's the Limit Wait, what's that song with Diddy in it? Oh, Diddy was in Manager Bro No, he was in a couple songs He tried, he was more, I mean He has an album and then he like produced But, I haven't even really listened to Diddy music He doesn't even any, Or is he just writing off coattails for real? You listen to Diddy? No, I don't listen to Diddy. Name five Diddy songs right now. Kind of what I was trying to get at. Nobody listens to that I'm sure that there's some old heads that do, but Not for long. Yeah. I guess. Alright, so Cole asked about Nesman. Bro, I don't, I don't like Nesman. Bro, how do we go from like Tupac and Biggie to Nesman? What, like. I mean, yeah, for like Jen, it's like completely, yeah, like adults wouldn't understand that type of like music to be honest, but guess there's like definitely like kids out there who like listen to that type of music, like fully, to its extent where you're actually I think there's just always stuff. Like I don't I mean obviously you can't say like objectively that the music's bad like people have their own tastes but I mean I just think there's probably music that like my parents feel about that same way that they just don't understand it. Yeah, but I'd say for for Nespin, don't know, I feel those type of people don't even like really try to they don't do like a lot in their career to get where they're at. I don't feel done enough to the extent where he should be doing like, but don't know. Yeah. What do y'all think about the industry plant stuff? Have y'all seen about you know who 2Hoss is? Yeah, that like his mom was like working with Pharrell. Yeah, that's like definition industry plan I just think that's so crazy to me that like it just doesn't feel genuine. Like I feel I can't Nonetheless of the style of the music but like just like I feel like there's no heart in it when it's an industry plan I feel like they're just there to make the money and not actually make anything meaningful Yeah, that's cool. Do you, do you listen to 2ali? I don't really like him. I'm kind of like glad I didn't see him. When, on the Ken tour. Cause, I mean, he got like one good song, but besides that I don't know what else he would perform that's actually part of my like music taste. It's not even really rap, it's like hyper pop. Not really, he has one song that's hard, but it's I, I see why people listen to him because he's kind of just he like produces his own music and then he, I don't know, he has one song he produced that's decent. Wait, y'all going to festival, wait what? Y'all going to festivals this summer? Summer? Yeah. Not this summer, I mean, I'm hoping eventually, next probably not next Lollapalooza, after. I'm probably gonna hit up, that'll be like my first real festival. I've been, I've never been, I haven't been to a lot of real concerts, period. You've seen, besides like Tyler and Ken. That's pretty much it. I went along with my parents to like a show or two, but it wasn't really my style of music. It was something like rock and grunge and like, I had a good time of course, but you know, just not my type of music. But shows that I actually wanted to go to, Tyler and Ken. And those were both really good. And I saw Staples in Staples when with Tyler and that show was really good. I wasn't expecting it to be that good for opening act. They usually are pretty quick, but he had like stage and everything. It's cool. That's right. When do you see Tyler? Uh, that was his. I'll be 2020. I'm going to another Tyler concert or no? Probably not. Why y'all laughing at me? I enjoyed his music a lot more when I was younger. So, did you like the concert or no? It was a great concert. I'll stand by that even if I don't really enjoy his music as much anymore. Why wouldn't you go again? I already went once, so I feel like I would want to spend money on a different concert. And it's a, it's a stadium show too, that's just like different. I feel like I'd rather go to spend my time and my money on an actual venue. Would you see the I don't know. I mean, if he ever goes on tour, Frank Ocean, that would be awesome. But that's unlikely, so I guess the next show up would be cool to see. I mean, of course,, Destroy Lonely. Or, I mean, Cardi. That'd be cool. Alright, I guess that's all we got time for today. Thanks for tuning in.
