Okay, so I. I've left my family's belief system like you just spoke to.
Speaker ASo.
Speaker BOkay.
Speaker AWhich actually was one of my questions I had.
Speaker ABut I was trying to save it to the end to get through the other three houses.
Speaker ABut do you use the nodes?
Speaker BOh yeah, I do.
Speaker BAnd actually the nodes were going back to my own self.
Speaker BThe nodes were transiting my.
Speaker BMy first and seventh house cusp and Aquarius and Leo north node on my seventh house cusp at the time that Uranus kind of shook up my.
Speaker BMy relationship.
Speaker BMy former relationship.
Speaker BSo yeah, it was.
Speaker BThe nodes were in.
Speaker BI do work with them.
Speaker AAll right.
Speaker BThe nose are huge.
Speaker AYeah, yeah.
Speaker BChange agents.
Speaker BYes, for sure.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker AHey, I was just wondering if you.
Speaker AIf you use those in your read.
Speaker AI. I actually have two more questions, but we could finish and I can.
Speaker AWell, you was.
Speaker AYou spoke to.
Speaker AIt came up while you was talking about the sixth house.
Speaker AYou.
Speaker AWhat's your feelings on being certified?
Speaker AYou.
Speaker AYou trying to get.
Speaker AAre you trying to be certified and take the test?
Speaker BNo, I don't care to.
Speaker BIt's not even.
Speaker BHere's the thing, you know, maybe this is the uranium person part of me.
Speaker BI believe I don't necessarily have to have anybody give me any sort of certification to.
Speaker BFor me to feel like I'm capable or to feel as if I am qualified.
Speaker BAll it said is that you can take a test.
Speaker BIn essence, you know, it doesn't, you know, we're all capable of learning, you know, however, comma, I mean, I would like, you know, a doctor, for example, that, that, that doesn't necessarily ring true for every aspect of my life.
Speaker BI do expect, you know, there to be certain people that have certain qualifications to do specific things, but for this.
Speaker BNah, I don't necessarily.
Speaker BI don't feel like I need it to have letters or symbols behind my name for anybody to respect me or what I do.
Speaker CI agree with that.
Speaker ADoes L Camp push certification?
Speaker BNo, no, not at all.
Speaker BBeing able to make a prediction and to substantiate why you made the prediction that you did.
Speaker BBasically, it's almost like, you know, how you.
Speaker BWhen you do math, when you get an equation instead of just giving your answer, a lot of times your teacher says, and show your work.
Speaker BBe able to show your work.
Speaker AI think, I actually think Claudia was on the fence with that.
Speaker AWhat being certified or taking the test or not.
Speaker AI think for a while you.
Speaker AYou would really wanted to take that test.
Speaker ABut then after that message I got from you the other day, I think you kind of.
Speaker CYeah, I did no, for a while, I mean, for a while I really thought that, like, I needed like that, that piece of paper.
Speaker CI've col, I have moon in the 9th, so I've collected a lot of piece of pieces of papers in my life.
Speaker BOkay,.
Speaker CGo ahead.
Speaker BOh, but I could also see that with you having the rule of your son in Virgo, just refining your knowledge, you know, and having those credentials, because.
Speaker CI, Yeah, something in me really needs it.
Speaker CBut with astrology, it's a little different because.
Speaker BExcuse me.
Speaker CI've been doing a lot of studying on, on a lot of different people, you know, that call themselves astrologers and things like that.
Speaker CAnd, and I'm just like, okay, like, what do you, what do they have that I don't, you know, like, so, and, and, and I, and I look at, I look at history.
Speaker CAstrology has not had any sort of, it's had relevancy, but like, in, in modern society, like in our society, like, it's looked at as, as, like, you're crazy.
Speaker CUp until a couple of years ago, you know, if you're an astrologer, like, back in the 70s, you were great.
Speaker CBut even then to like, modern society, it's like, what kind of a, what, what kind of a title is that?
Speaker CYou know, it was more, what's that word?
Speaker CTaboo?
Speaker COccult.
Speaker CIt's becoming less occult now.
Speaker CAnd because it's becoming less occult now, I think maybe like, the, the community itself might push for, for that whole, like, certification stuff.
Speaker CBut I don't know, I think years of experience, like, Lara has a lot of years of experience, and I look up to that.
Speaker CDeborah Silverman had a lot of years of experience, and I look up to that too.
Speaker CAnd I know that Deborah Silverman didn't go to a school of astrology.
Speaker CShe was a psychologist before anything else, and then she went to an Alice Bailey class one time.
Speaker CReally loved what, what was being taught in regards to esoteric astrology and then just, you know, picked it up from there.
Speaker CSo I, I guess, like, I'm kind of comparing right now.
Speaker ALet me ask you, what do you think about Chris Brennan's more academic approach?
Speaker CI like it.
Speaker CI'm not shunning the academic approach.
Speaker CI think it's, I think it's important within our community.
Speaker CI, I, I, I would disagree if, outside, if, okay.
Speaker CAnd I don't want to, like, come off, like, ignorant here, but, like, how would, how would we feel if, I don't know, like, I don't know, like a landscape guy came in and was like, okay, well, let's do a curriculum for astrology.
Speaker CRight?
Speaker COr like, like a random math teacher or social studies teacher.
Speaker CLet's do a curriculum for astrology.
Speaker CThen I would be like, okay, like this might be a problem because they don't really have that, like that knowledge or that, that experience or maybe all those years of knowledge.
Speaker CChris Brennan has been in an astrology school, specifically a school for astrology for many years.
Speaker CHe did the whole four, four year course.
Speaker CRight, with Kepler.
Speaker CYeah, I believe that's true.
Speaker CAnd Kepler was founded by Rick Levine or was one of the founders.
Speaker CAnd Rick Levine has also been an astrologer for many years.
Speaker CI mean, I think he was like a university professor at some point.
Speaker CBut even then, like I, I think it is important to have that sort of academic approach.
Speaker CBut when, when, when you're, when you're going straight to the astrology to like old texts that have been translated and like picking up that knowledge from there, not when you start getting pieces from here and then here and then here and kind of like putting it together though that could work.
Speaker CBut in an academic approach it's, it's, it's sort of moot.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker CSo I don't know if I answered the question, but.
Speaker BAnd I like Chris Brennan too.
Speaker BI like his.
Speaker BI think there's room for both, you know, for.
Speaker CAbsolutely.
Speaker BBecause everyone has their own little, little bit of seasoning that they add.
Speaker BTo quote your, to use your analogy from your post, Paul, this Stew, if that's what you called it.
Speaker BOh, you read it?
Speaker BI read a little bit, yeah.
Speaker BI love the analogy.
Speaker BI love the analogy.
Speaker BBut yeah, so Chris Brennan does add that academic approach and I appreciate his factualness.
Speaker BIf you are not correct, he will correct you.
Speaker BSo I love that about him.
Speaker BYeah, I would never want to be on his show because for that reason.
Speaker BBut I appreciate his need for accuracy.
Speaker CI really, I really enjoy, I really enjoy his teachings.
Speaker CActually.
Speaker AI think he has a stallion in Scorpio.
Speaker BI think, yeah, he's definitely, I think he's an Aquarius rising with a Scorpio sun.
Speaker CI love how he wrote his book Hellenistic Astro.
Speaker CI love how he wrote that like it's an academic textbook.
