Hello and welcome to Monday Motivation.
Heather MastersIt's a brand new week, and today I'd like to set an intention to really start the week making powerful choices, to feel good, to embrace joy, and to let energy carry us forward, that really positive energy.
Heather MastersIt's a big week around the world, so let's focus positively, let's focus on peace, on things turning out really well.
Heather MastersCan you imagine starting each morning with a question.
Heather MastersHow important is it for me to feel good today?
Heather MastersHow would that shape your day?
Heather MastersFeeling good helps us achieve so much more.
Heather MastersIf we continue to check in and to feel good, that motivates us to.
Heather MastersTo achieve so much more in our life.
Heather MastersAnd just think, if you're feeling good and that's projecting out into the world, what a difference that'll make for people around you.
Heather MastersLife gives us many reasons to focus on what we have to do and what we must achieve, what we should fix, what we need to do.
Heather MastersBut what if we flip that?
Heather MastersInstead of saying, I have to go to work, I need to go to work, I must finish this task.
Heather MastersWhat if we say, I get to do this?
Heather MastersJust notice how different that feels.
Heather MastersSaying I get to go to work today changes the energy of the task.
Heather MastersI get to walk the dog.
Heather MastersI get to take time out.
Heather MastersYou're no longer burdened, you're grateful, you're appreciative.
Heather MastersAnd when you say I get to, you kind of remind yourself that each day is a gift, Each task is a gift.
Heather MastersI get to take the trash out.
Heather MastersI get to wash the dishes.
Heather MastersIt means I have a home, I have the opportunity.
Heather MastersIt is a gift.
Heather MastersAnd that each day and each moment is a gift.
Heather MastersOur surroundings are a gift, our environment is a gift.
Heather MastersAnd it's full of opportunities waiting to be embraced rather than feeling that we're forced into doing something.
Heather MastersSo let's take a moment just to check in on how important feeling good is for you.
Heather MastersHow important is it for you to feel joy and to let life smooth flow smoothly?
Heather MastersIs there some resistance around that?
Heather MastersBecause I know sometimes when I check in, there is a bit of resistance.
Heather MastersAnd it means I'm not prioritizing how good I feel.
Heather MastersI'm not setting the tone for a life that's about thriving rather than just surviving and being able to check in and kind of bring yourself back to.
Heather MastersYeah, it is important for me to feel good.
Heather MastersBecause if I feel good, that's going to overflow into the work that I do.
Heather MastersIt's going to overflow into the environment around me.
Heather MastersIt's going to Change the way that I show up, and it's going to change the actions that I take.
Heather MastersAnd I think that's really important this week, especially with everything that's going on around the world, to actually choose to feel good, irrespective of what's happening outside of us.
Heather MastersAnd it's normal to feel resistance if we're out of the habit of feeling good, if we feel so tired and, you know, potentially so beaten down that we've forgotten what it feels like.
Heather MastersTo consistently feel good, to let go of stress and to find joy.
Heather MastersAnd we can do this through visualization.
Heather MastersWe can use visualization to open up possibilities for ourselves.
Heather MastersIt's a powerful tool that helps us turn what feels impossible into something we can almost reach out and touch.
Heather MastersSo as we go through this week and things may seem heavy or impossible, take that moment to step back, to remind yourself what a difference it makes to make that choice about feeling empowered, feeling happier, feeling good about your life and yourself.
Heather MastersSo let's have a go at this visualization now.
Heather MastersSo try this.
Heather MastersClose your eyes if you're in a safe place, and imagine a version of yourself that flows through the day with ease, handling each task, each challenge, with grace.
Heather MastersVisualize yourself smiling, energized, and feeling genuinely good.
Heather MastersImagine the weight lifting, your breath slowing down, and your mind clearing.
Heather MastersSee yourself moving through the day from a place of joy, not stress.
Heather MastersEach time you catch yourself thinking I have to.
Heather MastersThen pause, take a breath and replace it with I get to.
Heather MastersAnd notice how that changes your perspective and how that change in perspective allows you to feel more empowered, more in control, and changes how you experience every moment.
Heather MastersOkay, now I'm taking a 10 day challenge, so I'm going to be showing up every day instead of the three days a week.
Heather MastersTomorrow I'm going to do Tuesday tech and talk about some of the positives and negatives of AI.
Heather MastersSo tune in for that.
Heather MastersAnd just for today, remember that feeling good isn't just a nice idea.
Heather MastersIt's a choice.

Heather MastersIf we approach our tasks with intention, with love, with joy, it shifts how we create, how we put our energy into what we're doing.

Heather MastersIt can change how our fellow workers respond to us.
Heather MastersSo make it a priority.
Heather MastersAnd the more you prioritize feeling good, the more your life will align with that energy.
Heather MastersSo start out small and ask yourself how important it is for me to feel good today and allow that question to guide you and and watch how your days, your moments, your week, even your life starts to change.
Heather MastersI really hope this helps today.
Heather MastersSo this Monday, let's set a simple goal to choose to feel good, let go of I have to and embrace I get to and make that choice again and again throughout the day and you'll be amazed at what a difference it makes.
