Welcome back to another episode of health hacks as I start a new theme this month, and having just completed a another seven day quarterly detox, and enjoying all the benefits of that it is very top of mind for me and I want to share with you. Many of the benefits of detoxing, and this list that I will be going through over the next month are certainly not all of the benefits of detoxing, and they're also not in any particular order. I just wanted to come to you with short little snippets about detoxing, to give you some insight in how detoxing is such a great preventative tool when it comes to preventing dis ease of the body. So when it comes to detoxing, it is more important than ever that we do this in today's world because there have been over 144,000 manmade chemicals introduced into our world since World War Two. And that's a lot for our body, our liver, our kidneys to cope with. And they get overwhelmed and they can't do their job efficiently and they can't get all the toxins out. And so they end up storing them in your body unless you actively choose to detox to remove those harmful toxins, getting them out of your body and promoting your overall well being. Another benefit of detoxing is it helps to improve digestion by eliminating waste and promoting gut health. And I know so many people in the world today that are struggling with gut health with a myriad of symptoms, from constipation, to diarrhea to discomfort after eating to gas and bloating. All of these are symptoms of an unhealthy gut. And the first step I take anyone through is detoxing in order to start eliminating those toxins and lower the stress on your entire digestive system. And when we lower the stress, that's when the body can start healing. So the number one step I take any of my clients through when we are walking working on root cause health issues, which is what we always want to be doing is start with a detox So continue to tune in throughout this month.
