Speaker A

Welcome to Love Notes from Rhonda.

Speaker A

And today I want to talk about alignment.

Speaker A

What does alignment mean?

Speaker A

You probably hear me talking about that all the time inside the Fearless Living training program, inside Fearless conversations, right?

Speaker A

Everything that I teach and do, we talk about alignment because alignment is critical in discovering what area, what part of you is withholding, which part of you is grabbed by fear, which part of you isn't coming, you know, coming with you with your dreams and desires, right?

Speaker A

Which part of you is going, uh, no.

Speaker A

No way.

Speaker A

Which part of you?

Speaker A

So what does alignment mean?

Speaker A

Alignment means that your head, that is your thoughts, your heart, that is your feelings, your body, that is your sensations, and your spirit, that is that intuition, that soul, that intentional soul creation.

Speaker A

Are not in alignment.

Speaker A

You're having thoughts that conflict with your feelings.

Speaker A

You're having feelings that conflict with your sensations.

Speaker A

You're having sensations that are conflicting with your soul, with that spirit within, that intuition, it is conflicting.

Speaker A

So I know you've experienced this.

Speaker A

We all have, right?

Speaker A

Your feelings are doing, saying one thing and your thoughts are saying another, right?

Speaker A

Your feelings are going, but I love him.

Speaker A

And your thoughts are going, no, bad.

Speaker A

He is bad.

Speaker A

He's a bad seed.

Speaker A

Forget about it.

Speaker A

Right?

Speaker A

And your body is going, yes, but I love him.

Speaker A

And your thoughts are going, no, no, no, not good.

Speaker A

Right?

Speaker A

So.

Speaker A

And we've all experienced this in business, right?

Speaker A

We've experienced this in all areas of life.

Speaker A

Think about business.

Speaker A

So you're wondering if you should take a job or not.

Speaker A

And logically, your thoughts are telling you, good idea.

Speaker A

This is a really great idea.

Speaker A

This is a really good idea.

Speaker A

Your soul, your spirit, your intuition is going, yep, good idea.

Speaker A

Yes.

Speaker A

We want.

Speaker A

Go for it.

Speaker A

Go for it.

Speaker A

But your body, sensations and those lovely feelings are screaming no.

Speaker A

Right?

Speaker A

Are screaming no.

Speaker A

So what do you do when part of you is saying yes and part of you is saying no?

Speaker A

We have to step back and look at the filter in which you're using.

Speaker A

You know, we talk about the Wheel of Fear and the Wheel of Freedom because those are the primary tools that we use to really disable fear's power over you, right?

Speaker A

That's how we disable fear's power is through the Wheel of Fear and Wheel of Freedom.

Speaker A

The Wheel of Fear helps you see fear for what it is and how it works, the actual workings of it.

Speaker A

And the Wheel of Freedom is the antidote, the thing that you can lean into, the thing that you can use, the tool that you can, I'll say the word use again, the tool that you can use in order to move yourself out of any situation.

Speaker A

So when your feelings and thoughts are competing, or your body sensations and your thoughts are competing, or your intuition and your feelings are competing, you want to just step back and ask yourself, what filter are you looking through?

Speaker A

What filter are you looking through?

Speaker A

What?

Speaker A

What is it?

Speaker A

So let's say that job.

Speaker A

Let's just say that job.

Speaker A

That job.

Speaker A

And your logic is going, very good job opportunity, this.

Speaker A

Yes, I take it.

Speaker A

And your intuition is also giving you a high five, like, yes, yes.

Speaker A

But your body is going, oh, God, no.

Speaker A

And your feelings are going, not a good idea, not a good idea.

Speaker A

Well, let's for a minute believe our thoughts and intuition.

Speaker A

Let's just say for the sake of this conversation that your thoughts and your intuition are driven by freedom, right?

Speaker A

They're driven by the wheel of freedom.

Speaker A

They're saying, yes, logically it's a great choice.

Speaker A

But also intuitively, it's a great choice.

Speaker A

Now then, why would your feelings and your body sensations be telling you no?

Speaker A

Well, they may be telling you no because this is the unknown.

Speaker A

They're not sure you can do it.

Speaker A

They may be reminded of something, something that happened to you in your past.

Speaker A

A past memory may be coming through and being applied to this job opportunity.

Speaker A

So our feelings, our thoughts in this scenario might be driven from our wheel of fear because it is, quote, unquote, afraid to take the next step, afraid to go for that job, even though it logically makes sense.

Speaker A

And our intuition is saying, go for it.

Speaker A

Our feelings are going, oh, my God, oh, my God, oh, my God.

Speaker A

And our body's going, oh, no.

Speaker A

Oh, no.

Speaker A

Oh, no.

Speaker A

And what can we do in that minute?

Speaker A

We can actually be with our feelings, actually talk through our feelings, right?

Speaker A

Just be going, okay, so what is it that I'm afraid of right here?

Speaker A

What is it?

Speaker A

What are those fear responses that are happening right now?

Speaker A

Well, I don't think I can do it.

Speaker A

I'm worried that I might have to move in a year, you know, what if I don't like my boss, right?

Speaker A

So just allow yourself the space to actually ask yourself, what are those fears coming up through those feelings?

Speaker A

And ask your body the same thing, body, what are you.

Speaker A

What's up with you, like body?

Speaker A

Cause usually the body is a great indicator of trauma.

Speaker A

It's a great trauma response indicator, right, that there's some trauma around.

Speaker A

You're having some sort of PTSD or a trauma from the past or something that you've been holding onto in your body that you may not be consciously aware of is being trapped in your body.

Speaker A

And so those body sensations are coming through and they're going, oh God, oh God, oh God.

Speaker A

Because they are giving you the indication that there's something about taking this job that's scary.

Speaker A

Now almost any risk you take in the world of stretch risk or die, right?

Speaker A

Anytime you get in the risk and die zone, it's going to be scary, right?

Speaker A

It's going to be scary because you are not sure of the future, you are uncertain of the result.

Speaker A

You are not guaranteed that this is going to be a job for your life and it's going to be filled with loving people and it's going to give you so much money and joy like you don't know.

Speaker A

So when you are out of alignment, your opportunity is to actually honor all four parts of you.

Speaker A

Honor those feelings, honor those thoughts, honor those sensations and honor those intuition and actually be open to a dialogue with them.

Speaker A

Because soon what you'll discover is that, let's say again, keep using the same example about the job.

Speaker A

Those feelings are just worried that you don't have your heart's back or right.

Speaker A

It's just worried that you're gonna go into this job for the money only.

Speaker A

And it's just because it sounds good.

Speaker A

And you're not really thinking of your feelings.

Speaker A

You're not really thinking of the soft skills that you need.

Speaker A

You're not really thinking of the team that's maybe there.

Speaker A

You're putting them in a dangerous situation.

Speaker A

That's what they think, right?

Speaker A

The feelings think that body may think the same.

Speaker A

So you gotta allow yourself to talk to your body and talk to your feelings and talk through it.

Speaker A

And again, it could be different.

Speaker A

It could be your logic is the one that's out of alignment, right?

Speaker A

Or your intuition is going, no, no, no.

Speaker A

And there are going to be times where you start recognizing that you as a person.

Speaker A

Your body sensations are your truth teller, your intuition is your truth teller.

Speaker A

Your feelings are your truth teller, right?

Speaker A

Your logic is your truth teller.

Speaker A

You're going to find that one is really the anchor for your truth telling.

Speaker A

Not always by the way, but usually for me it's my intuition, right?

Speaker A

For me, it's my intuition, my spirit, my intuition.

Speaker A

I rely on that wholeheartedly.

Speaker A

Now, do I do everything my intuition tells me to do?

Speaker A

No.

Speaker A

And I might not do it as fast as my intuition tells me because I need to get all parts of me aligned.

Speaker A

Or I might say to myself, I might say to my body sensations or my feelings, I might say, well, I'm Gonna say yes.

Speaker A

And they're gonna be like, no.

Speaker A

And you go, I know.

Speaker A

And I'm gonna be here with you.

Speaker A

We're gonna do this together, and we're gonna get through this together, and it is going to be okay.

Speaker A

And basically, it's about having a dialogue, keeping that dialogue open, that you are not afraid to engage with your mind, you're not afraid to engage with your heart, you're not afraid to engage with your body, you're not afraid to engage with your spirit.

Speaker A

That all of those parts of you are available to you, and they all are here to support you, to guide you, to love you.

Speaker A

And they do love you.

Speaker A

So give them the space.

Speaker A

Don't treat my thoughts are bad, or my body is telling me the wrong thing, or my feelings suck.

Speaker A

Right?

Speaker A

Just allow all those parts of you to have a dialogue, an open dialogue.

Speaker A

And I'm knowing that if you are not, quote unquote, afraid of any of the things that are coming up, then the things that are triggered by fear, that are part of your fear response on your Wheel of Fear are going to relax and start calming down and you'll start hearing more of the truth of what is your next best step.

Speaker A

So are you gonna take action always being fully aligned?

Speaker A

No, you will take action at times, not being fully aligned, your job, your opportunity is to at least know what's happening in all those parts of yourself so that you can be in dialogue and take them with you.

Speaker A

You know, you might be doing something that scares the bejeepers out of your body, you know, like bungee jumping or, you know, jumping out of an airplane.

Speaker A

And you're gonna talk to your body and take it with you and relax it and calm it and love it as it's moving through this.

Speaker A

So you don't have to wait for alignment to take action.

Speaker A

You don't have to wait for alignment to make a choice.

Speaker A

But you do have to be awake.

Speaker A

To all four parts to see what's driven by fear and freedom in order for you to know how to move forward.

Speaker A

And with that, my friend, alignment, alignment, alignment.

Speaker A

When you're out of alignment, that's where unhappiness lies.

Speaker A

Because you know a part of you is not on board.

Speaker A

So we want to get all parts of ourselves on board, even if it's simply as understanding the wheel of fear and will of freedom.

Speaker A

If that's the first place to get all four parts on board, so be it.

Speaker A

Because then it'll be way easier when it's about that job or about that love until next time, be fearless.

Speaker A

I love you.
