Welcome to Love Notes from Rhonda.
Speaker AAnd today I want to talk about alignment.
Speaker AWhat does alignment mean?
Speaker AYou probably hear me talking about that all the time inside the Fearless Living training program, inside Fearless conversations, right?
Speaker AEverything that I teach and do, we talk about alignment because alignment is critical in discovering what area, what part of you is withholding, which part of you is grabbed by fear, which part of you isn't coming, you know, coming with you with your dreams and desires, right?
Speaker AWhich part of you is going, uh, no.
Speaker ANo way.
Speaker AWhich part of you?
Speaker ASo what does alignment mean?
Speaker AAlignment means that your head, that is your thoughts, your heart, that is your feelings, your body, that is your sensations, and your spirit, that is that intuition, that soul, that intentional soul creation.
Speaker AAre not in alignment.
Speaker AYou're having thoughts that conflict with your feelings.
Speaker AYou're having feelings that conflict with your sensations.
Speaker AYou're having sensations that are conflicting with your soul, with that spirit within, that intuition, it is conflicting.
Speaker ASo I know you've experienced this.
Speaker AWe all have, right?
Speaker AYour feelings are doing, saying one thing and your thoughts are saying another, right?
Speaker AYour feelings are going, but I love him.
Speaker AAnd your thoughts are going, no, bad.
Speaker AHe is bad.
Speaker AHe's a bad seed.
Speaker AForget about it.
Speaker ARight?
Speaker AAnd your body is going, yes, but I love him.
Speaker AAnd your thoughts are going, no, no, no, not good.
Speaker ARight?
Speaker ASo.
Speaker AAnd we've all experienced this in business, right?
Speaker AWe've experienced this in all areas of life.
Speaker AThink about business.
Speaker ASo you're wondering if you should take a job or not.
Speaker AAnd logically, your thoughts are telling you, good idea.
Speaker AThis is a really great idea.
Speaker AThis is a really good idea.
Speaker AYour soul, your spirit, your intuition is going, yep, good idea.
Speaker AYes.
Speaker AWe want.
Speaker AGo for it.
Speaker AGo for it.
Speaker ABut your body, sensations and those lovely feelings are screaming no.
Speaker ARight?
Speaker AAre screaming no.
Speaker ASo what do you do when part of you is saying yes and part of you is saying no?
Speaker AWe have to step back and look at the filter in which you're using.
Speaker AYou know, we talk about the Wheel of Fear and the Wheel of Freedom because those are the primary tools that we use to really disable fear's power over you, right?
Speaker AThat's how we disable fear's power is through the Wheel of Fear and Wheel of Freedom.
Speaker AThe Wheel of Fear helps you see fear for what it is and how it works, the actual workings of it.
Speaker AAnd the Wheel of Freedom is the antidote, the thing that you can lean into, the thing that you can use, the tool that you can, I'll say the word use again, the tool that you can use in order to move yourself out of any situation.
Speaker ASo when your feelings and thoughts are competing, or your body sensations and your thoughts are competing, or your intuition and your feelings are competing, you want to just step back and ask yourself, what filter are you looking through?
Speaker AWhat filter are you looking through?
Speaker AWhat?
Speaker AWhat is it?
Speaker ASo let's say that job.
Speaker ALet's just say that job.
Speaker AThat job.
Speaker AAnd your logic is going, very good job opportunity, this.
Speaker AYes, I take it.
Speaker AAnd your intuition is also giving you a high five, like, yes, yes.
Speaker ABut your body is going, oh, God, no.
Speaker AAnd your feelings are going, not a good idea, not a good idea.
Speaker AWell, let's for a minute believe our thoughts and intuition.
Speaker ALet's just say for the sake of this conversation that your thoughts and your intuition are driven by freedom, right?
Speaker AThey're driven by the wheel of freedom.
Speaker AThey're saying, yes, logically it's a great choice.
Speaker ABut also intuitively, it's a great choice.
Speaker ANow then, why would your feelings and your body sensations be telling you no?
Speaker AWell, they may be telling you no because this is the unknown.
Speaker AThey're not sure you can do it.
Speaker AThey may be reminded of something, something that happened to you in your past.
Speaker AA past memory may be coming through and being applied to this job opportunity.
Speaker ASo our feelings, our thoughts in this scenario might be driven from our wheel of fear because it is, quote, unquote, afraid to take the next step, afraid to go for that job, even though it logically makes sense.
Speaker AAnd our intuition is saying, go for it.
Speaker AOur feelings are going, oh, my God, oh, my God, oh, my God.
Speaker AAnd our body's going, oh, no.
Speaker AOh, no.
Speaker AOh, no.
Speaker AAnd what can we do in that minute?
Speaker AWe can actually be with our feelings, actually talk through our feelings, right?
Speaker AJust be going, okay, so what is it that I'm afraid of right here?
Speaker AWhat is it?
Speaker AWhat are those fear responses that are happening right now?
Speaker AWell, I don't think I can do it.
Speaker AI'm worried that I might have to move in a year, you know, what if I don't like my boss, right?
Speaker ASo just allow yourself the space to actually ask yourself, what are those fears coming up through those feelings?
Speaker AAnd ask your body the same thing, body, what are you.
Speaker AWhat's up with you, like body?
Speaker ACause usually the body is a great indicator of trauma.
Speaker AIt's a great trauma response indicator, right, that there's some trauma around.
Speaker AYou're having some sort of PTSD or a trauma from the past or something that you've been holding onto in your body that you may not be consciously aware of is being trapped in your body.
Speaker AAnd so those body sensations are coming through and they're going, oh God, oh God, oh God.
Speaker ABecause they are giving you the indication that there's something about taking this job that's scary.
Speaker ANow almost any risk you take in the world of stretch risk or die, right?
Speaker AAnytime you get in the risk and die zone, it's going to be scary, right?
Speaker AIt's going to be scary because you are not sure of the future, you are uncertain of the result.
Speaker AYou are not guaranteed that this is going to be a job for your life and it's going to be filled with loving people and it's going to give you so much money and joy like you don't know.
Speaker ASo when you are out of alignment, your opportunity is to actually honor all four parts of you.
Speaker AHonor those feelings, honor those thoughts, honor those sensations and honor those intuition and actually be open to a dialogue with them.
Speaker ABecause soon what you'll discover is that, let's say again, keep using the same example about the job.
Speaker AThose feelings are just worried that you don't have your heart's back or right.
Speaker AIt's just worried that you're gonna go into this job for the money only.
Speaker AAnd it's just because it sounds good.
Speaker AAnd you're not really thinking of your feelings.
Speaker AYou're not really thinking of the soft skills that you need.
Speaker AYou're not really thinking of the team that's maybe there.
Speaker AYou're putting them in a dangerous situation.
Speaker AThat's what they think, right?
Speaker AThe feelings think that body may think the same.
Speaker ASo you gotta allow yourself to talk to your body and talk to your feelings and talk through it.
Speaker AAnd again, it could be different.
Speaker AIt could be your logic is the one that's out of alignment, right?
Speaker AOr your intuition is going, no, no, no.
Speaker AAnd there are going to be times where you start recognizing that you as a person.
Speaker AYour body sensations are your truth teller, your intuition is your truth teller.
Speaker AYour feelings are your truth teller, right?
Speaker AYour logic is your truth teller.
Speaker AYou're going to find that one is really the anchor for your truth telling.
Speaker ANot always by the way, but usually for me it's my intuition, right?
Speaker AFor me, it's my intuition, my spirit, my intuition.
Speaker AI rely on that wholeheartedly.
Speaker ANow, do I do everything my intuition tells me to do?
Speaker ANo.
Speaker AAnd I might not do it as fast as my intuition tells me because I need to get all parts of me aligned.
Speaker AOr I might say to myself, I might say to my body sensations or my feelings, I might say, well, I'm Gonna say yes.
Speaker AAnd they're gonna be like, no.
Speaker AAnd you go, I know.
Speaker AAnd I'm gonna be here with you.
Speaker AWe're gonna do this together, and we're gonna get through this together, and it is going to be okay.
Speaker AAnd basically, it's about having a dialogue, keeping that dialogue open, that you are not afraid to engage with your mind, you're not afraid to engage with your heart, you're not afraid to engage with your body, you're not afraid to engage with your spirit.
Speaker AThat all of those parts of you are available to you, and they all are here to support you, to guide you, to love you.
Speaker AAnd they do love you.
Speaker ASo give them the space.
Speaker ADon't treat my thoughts are bad, or my body is telling me the wrong thing, or my feelings suck.
Speaker ARight?
Speaker AJust allow all those parts of you to have a dialogue, an open dialogue.
Speaker AAnd I'm knowing that if you are not, quote unquote, afraid of any of the things that are coming up, then the things that are triggered by fear, that are part of your fear response on your Wheel of Fear are going to relax and start calming down and you'll start hearing more of the truth of what is your next best step.
Speaker ASo are you gonna take action always being fully aligned?
Speaker ANo, you will take action at times, not being fully aligned, your job, your opportunity is to at least know what's happening in all those parts of yourself so that you can be in dialogue and take them with you.
Speaker AYou know, you might be doing something that scares the bejeepers out of your body, you know, like bungee jumping or, you know, jumping out of an airplane.
Speaker AAnd you're gonna talk to your body and take it with you and relax it and calm it and love it as it's moving through this.
Speaker ASo you don't have to wait for alignment to take action.
Speaker AYou don't have to wait for alignment to make a choice.
Speaker ABut you do have to be awake.
Speaker ATo all four parts to see what's driven by fear and freedom in order for you to know how to move forward.
Speaker AAnd with that, my friend, alignment, alignment, alignment.
Speaker AWhen you're out of alignment, that's where unhappiness lies.
Speaker ABecause you know a part of you is not on board.
Speaker ASo we want to get all parts of ourselves on board, even if it's simply as understanding the wheel of fear and will of freedom.
Speaker AIf that's the first place to get all four parts on board, so be it.
Speaker ABecause then it'll be way easier when it's about that job or about that love until next time, be fearless.
Speaker AI love you.
