Speaker A

Welcome to Love Notes from Rhonda.

Speaker A

And today is January 1st.

Speaker A

A new beginning, starting over, a chance to reinvent, and a time to commit.

Speaker A

Commitment is is a word that's been hijacked from all those overachievers and perfectionists.

Speaker A

Instead, we wanna bring commitment down to earth and make it personal, based on values, based on who we really are and what we really want in our life.

Speaker A

So I ask you, what do you wanna commit to for this next year?

Speaker A

What do you wanna commit to?

Speaker A

Commitment means that you have said yes to something deep within that wants to be expressed.

Speaker A

Commitment means that you're willing to trust the process more than know every single thing along the way.

Speaker A

Commitment means that you're willing to say yes to having more focus and discipline when needed and necessary in order to live by that commitment.

Speaker A

Commitment means more authenticity, more value based decisions in living.

Speaker A

Commitment means I am willing and ready.

Speaker A

You are willing and ready to live more as if your soul is leading.

Speaker A

So what are you committed to for the next 12 months?

Speaker A

Does it mean you're gonna be perfect?

Speaker A

No.

Speaker A

Does it mean it might shift?

Speaker A

Yes.

Speaker A

Does it mean it may not work for you in three months?

Speaker A

Sure.

Speaker A

But that should not stop us from committing.

Speaker A

For many of us, we have learned the art of resolutions, right?

Speaker A

The New Year's resolutions.

Speaker A

And only 8% of people actually fulfill their New Year's resolutions.

Speaker A

Why?

Speaker A

Because they treat resolutions as a let me try it, let me, let me make an effort kinda.

Speaker A

But they don't actually commit to the journey of making what they want happen, right?

Speaker A

They don't make the commitment to the journey of what they're gonna need to do, who they're gonna need to become in order to make that commitment come true.

Speaker A

Instead, when things get hard, when they're not sure which way to go, when they get confused, they just quit.

Speaker A

I mean, think of the last resolution you made.

Speaker A

Did you keep it?

Speaker A

Most of us didn't.

Speaker A

Only 8% did.

Speaker A

And the only way that resolutions, commitments work for that 8%.

Speaker A

One of the key components is support.

Speaker A

And how wonderful that we get that right, that we get to support one another through this next year, to help each other live by what we commit to, to live that life our soul intends.

Speaker A

So support.

Speaker A

Look at the support around you.

Speaker A

Do you have enough?

Speaker A

Do you have people you can go to to vent?

Speaker A

Do you have people you can go to to coach each other?

Speaker A

Do you have people around you that you can just lean on?

Speaker A

Get compassion, get support, get love, get kindness, get belief, get faith, get yes, yes, yes, you can do it from we all need support.

Speaker A

Support is critical.

Speaker A

Critical for us to fulfill our commitments.

Speaker A

The other thing that we all need is humility.

Speaker A

In order for us to live by our commitments, we must be humble in the face of things that are hard, things that we didn't think mattered to us or things that we're afraid we're not able to accomplish, Right?

Speaker A

That humility of like, wow, I am in a beginner mindset because when you are in a commitment mindset, you are in beginner mindset because you are always learning and growing and discovering things that you didn't even know were true about you, things that you didn't even know you wanted.

Speaker A

Things that didn't even know that you'd have to traverse in order to reach your committed goal.

Speaker A

So support, humility, vulnerability.

Speaker A

And third, willingness.

Speaker A

Willingness.

Speaker A

Willingness to keep going regardless of how you feel about it, what you think about it.

Speaker A

A willingness to embrace and embody the commitment that you make because you know that commitment is coming from the very depths of your being.

Speaker A

Saying yes and more.

Speaker A

Yes.

Speaker A

I want this to be expressed.

Speaker A

I want this part of me to be expressed.

Speaker A

I want this as if God's giving you a nudge, saying yes.

Speaker A

I want to see this shine through you as you.

Speaker A

For you commitment.

Speaker A

What are you committed to?

Speaker A

When you commit, you're saying yes to something larger and more magnificent move through your life.

Speaker A

When you commit, you are saying yes to the universal principles of manifestation.

Speaker A

When you commit, you're saying yes to the support that is throughout the world and the universe that is there whenever you need it.

Speaker A

You just have to say yes.

Speaker A

When you commit, you are saying you're willing to do what's necessary for you to become more of who you are.

Speaker A

Commit today.

Speaker A

Use the energy of this planet where everybody is making resolutions.

Speaker A

Instead, make commitments to go beyond resolutions and say yes and more.

Speaker A

Yes to you.

Speaker A

Commit.

Speaker A

Commit to the next being that is unfolding called you.

Speaker A

Commit.

Speaker A

What is your commitment?

Speaker A

And then label it with a word.

Speaker A

And that word might just simply be commitment.

Speaker A

Label it with a word, claim it for the year, and say yes and more.

Speaker A

Yes.

Speaker A

And with that, my dear friends, I look forward to watching your soul unfold over the next year together.

Speaker A

So until next time, be fearless.

Speaker A

I love you, Sa.
