Hey, it's David. Welcome to A Changed Mind, a sanctuary for your spirit, a place where each and every episode I remind you of a certainty of goodness future. I am your friend, your host, your guide. In this episode, I'm going to empirically prove to you that you are a badass. This is not the you're just good enough episode. This is the you are destined greatness episode. And while you may find that in this episode, I'm motivating or inspiring, that's actually not my goal. My goal is to give you a structure to unlock your greatness, your inner badass. Because if you're listening to this episode, my bet is that you either think you might be destined for greatness, but there's a lot going on inside your head in terms of doubt or wondering if it's going to happen or comparing yourself to other people that you think are greater, maybe better than you. Or you're like, Dave, listen, I'm so far away from being a badass right now from being great. I'm broke. I'm sick. I'm struggling with addiction. I've been the opposite of great for so long. You just don't know my story. And you know what? I might not know your story, but here's what I know. If you're watching or listening to this episode, this is a message from the universe specifically for you and you better listen. Because over the course of our time together, I'm going to scientifically prove to you that you're destined for greatness. I'm going to show you exactly what's blocking it from expressing itself and tell you precisely what you need to do in order to unlock. And I'm speaking from experience. Maybe you know my story. Maybe you don't. But it was not long ago that I was struggling to figure out my purpose. I was addicted to drugs, alcohol, pornography. I had almost no money in my bank account. I had two homes in foreclosure. I had a business that was going out of business. And over the course of the last decade, one day at a time, applying the principles that I'm going to be sharing with you, I've been able to create the life of my dream. Is it perfect? Absolutely not. Do I struggle? Yes. Almost every single day. But I've got the tools in order to get back into what I call a powerful state and to make progress in my life, progress spiritually, progress in my relationship, progress financially, progress towards my purpose. And so today I'm married to the woman of my dreams. I have a two-year-old son. I'm living in the home of my dreams. I'm impacting hundreds of thousands of lives. I get to do what I love. And you have that version of whatever it is for you inside of you. And so you may be saying like, look, I've been feeling pressure for a long time. And I totally get that. I want you to think about what pressure you've been feeling. Maybe it's financial pressure, pressure of financial insecurity. Maybe it's challenges with a chronic health condition. Maybe you've been struggling to find the soulmate that you've been wanting to attract into your life or you're in a relationship and there's a lot of friction where someone you care about is going through struggle. So that's impacting you in a stressful way. But it's important to understand that we grow through pressure. Pressure is the cause. And evolution and growth expansion is the effect. And there's so many examples of this in the natural world. You can look at carbon, for example. Under extreme heat and extreme pressure, carbon atoms are forced into this crystalline structure, which transforms graphite, which is a form of carbon into diamond, which are incredibly hard, incredibly transparent, incredibly valuable. And this transformation takes place over millions, billions of years, allowing the carbon atoms to rearrange and bond in this stable new form, which is the diamond. Now, the good news is is that in order for you to turn into the diamond, if we're going to continue to use that metaphor, or to discover your greatness, become your greatness, to be able to consistently move towards expressing this unique genius that is inside of you into the world, it doesn't take millions or billions of years. But what's important to understand is that pressure that you're feeling right now is the means by which you will start to activate greatness. It's the means by which you become resilient. And I want you to stay with me with this for a second here. If you're experiencing a lot of pressure right now, you know how to handle pressure. You know how to handle the fear. You're still here. You're still alive. You know how to handle the stress, the anxiety, the overwhelm. You've probably been putting so much pressure on yourself that you're not good enough. You're not as far along as you should be, that you've developed this incredible resiliency in your nervous. Because you know what? Whether you know what you want to be doing in the world right now, your purpose, or we would call your spiritual vision, or whether you're wanting to discover it, it's going to require resilience. It's going to require tenacity. It's going to require courage. It's going to require the ability to move through uncomfortable situations and stay standing. And that's what you've done. And so it's very important for you to understand that the things that you might be pointing at as evidence for why you might not be great or why you may never achieve your greatness, that's exactly why you're going to become great. Why your destiny is something that you're going to achieve. And again, I don't care where you are right now. I mean, I remember, again, it was a little more than a decade ago. I was digging around in a dumpster behind the local grocery store looking for a bag of pot that I had thrown in. Because two hours before I smoked it, after having told myself for the hundredth time that I was never going to smoke pot again. And I felt so guilty that I filled the bag with water. And I drove it to the grocery store, went behind back, threw the wet bag of pot in the dumpster, and two hours later I was back digging through old banana peels and garbage looking for my bag of pot, driving home to pour out the water, put it in the microwave, and smoke another joint. That's how deep into my addiction I was. That's how deep I was into not loving myself. And so I don't care where you are right now or how long it's been going on, whatever your challenge is, or how you've been feeling about yourself. I want you to know that those are the things that are pressing the dime. Because I look back on my life right now, I look back on what I'm doing today and I can see that there was this intelligent architecture to my life. I'm able to share transformational framework and tools that help people identify and transform their limiting beliefs so that they can become more abundant and prosperous or attract their dream relationships or have a successful business or be great dads and great moms, whatever it is that you want, because I went through so much suffering. So you may have heard this idea that the wound is the way. All these things that you're judging yourself for right now, that's the compression that is in the process of turning latent carbon, nothing particularly remarkable inside of you, into the diamond that you are. So it's important for you to know that. It's important for you to not use the challenges that you've been experiencing and that you're experiencing right now and the fact that you haven't yet achieved the success that you want as evidence for the fact that either you don't have greatness inside of you or that you're not going to be able to achieve it. Because you do. And you do because you've attracted this video. You know, there's an adage in scripture which is, ask and you shall receive. There's a corresponding nature to the universe. And when out of the pain that we're experiencing or the challenges that we're having, whether we're aware of it or not, we're broadcasting a prayer of just the opposite. If you're experiencing financial insecurity, you're broadcasting a transmission of desire for financial abundance. If you've been experiencing a lot of chronic health challenges and you're tired of the pain and you're afraid that maybe you're never going to be able to get out of it and somehow going to affect the joy that you may or may not be able to have for the rest of your life, you're broadcasting a prayer for wellness in your body. And so all of consciousness or all of life is receiving this and is immediately responding to organize and orchestrate the materialization of what it is that you actually In fact, it's part of the expansion process. These challenges and these dips that we experience in these long dark night of the souls, they're actually the activation process for the desires that if you follow the rest of the steps I'm going to share with you in this episode can materialize and will materialize 100% of the time consistently and predictably. And will they happen overnight? Usually not, but they happen a lot in a much shorter period of time So this first distinction is that you are destined for great because you're going through the challenges that you're experiencing. That is the mechanism by which you start to tune in and tap into a deeper level of desire for more in you. And the process is already starting to unfold. Okay, that's number one. That is the empirical evidence I have for you that if you're struggling, you are on your path to great. No great person ever achieved their greatness through non-struggle. If you study the biographies of any great person, they all struggled. They all went through the self-doubt. They all went through the comparing themselves to other people. They all went through very long period that if you just looked at that period of time would seem to indicate if you just drew it out linearly that they were never going to be of anything meaningful in their life. And then something happens. You know, they found a teacher. They found a mentor. They found a book. They started to have a changed mind and they started to gain the tools to develop a new attitude to start transforming their personality. But each and every one of them, including myself, look back on those challenges as absolutely necessary for who you're becoming. And so I want you to know right now that whatever you're going through, it's absolutely necessary. It is not evidence of your inefficiency or your incapacity or you're not enough. It's evidence for the fact that you are building the potential of greatness inside of you. And now we just need to have the tools to unlock. So we're going to start to get into that now. The second distinction that I want to share with you is an awareness of really one of the biggest things that you're doing right now that's preventing you from starting to change. That's preventing you from tapping into the idea that could be your million dollar idea. That's preventing you from tapping into that new business idea. That's preventing you from discovering your purpose because your purpose is inside of you. But there's something that's blocking it. And I was really fortunate to be able to spend a year back in 2015 with Tony Robbins and his high level, it's called Platinum Partner Program. And I built some of the most amazing friendships and relationships in that program. And I actually got to spend a little bit of time with Tony. I was very intentional about my year. And so anytime I was at one of these events, before the event, I thought about a question that I would ask Tony Robbins. I was like, Tony was my personal life coach. Like, and I was showing up for a call with Tony. What would I ask him? And so over the course of the year, because we had like, I don't know, 16 events that we went to with Tony, he started to get a little bit familiar with me because I asked 16 questions. Sometimes when there were opportunities to speak in front of the group, I would also ask in front of the group. But during every break, I'd go up to him and ask questions. And we were at an event that he does called Relationship Mastery. And some of the people who had been in that program for several years said, you know, Tony just starts to tap into the field at this event. There's something about this event, you know, maybe it's because it's in Hawaii. And it's like on this like sacred ground or magical ground, but he starts to tune in. And he'll just start to channel, he'll just start to communicate to people the things that they need to hear that they're not able to hear for themselves. And so I'm at this event. And I don't know, it's like day two of the event. And Tony's talking about one thing totally like he's walking around the room talking about the masculine feminine dynamic. And what happens when men don't show up as kings, and then women feel unsafe, and then they start trying to take control. He's going off on this whole thing about masculine feminine. And he's walking the room like he does, like a leopard, right? Like a panther. He's like stalking the room. And in mid-sentence, he stopped right in front of me. I'm in the front row. He turns towards me and he just hurled his hand at my chest, right? Like a dag, his hand open, all four fingers right at my heart. And he just says, you need to stop comparing yourself to people that you think are bigger or better than you. The power, the life, the genius, it's inside of you. Simply trust that and stop paying attention to all the rest. And then he goes on talking about whatever he was talking. I remember during the break, people came up to me. They're like, did you see how like Tony just stopped and like just gave you a fortune cookie message like directly into your chest? I was like, yeah. And I wrote it on my window in my old studio apartment to remind me every day that the power, the life genius is inside of me. And I don't have to pay attention to any of the rest of it. Stop comparing myself to other people. And so my guess is right now, you're comparing yourself to a lot of other people. Every time the clarity, your purpose, your greatness, it's like a street cat. It's like you build a relationship with it. It starts to feel safe with you and then it shows up in greater and greater degrees. But if you move too quickly, it skitters off. And what happens is we move too quickly because as soon as you start hearing that quiet whisper of what you could do and what could be possible for you, what the mind does, because the mind is designed for survival, not for achieving your greatness or your full potential or for being a badass, the mind will all of a sudden start to pair this dream that is emerging for you even before you're aware of it. When the first few atoms of a new idea start to transmit to you, all of a sudden you start to compare yourself to other people. And in today's world with the social media epidemic, it's easier than ever before. It doesn't even have to happen as an effect of your greatness being whispered in your ear. All you have to do is jump on Facebook or Instagram or whatever else you jump on and you see other people who seem like they're doing more, they're being more, and they're better. But there's a couple of really important things to understand. And I debated whether or not to share this in this episode because I really am focused on the certainty of the goodness future. I'm not focused on bashing anyone else. And so I want to preface this by saying I'm not bashing anyone. This episode is not about other people. It's about you and you knowing that you have greatness inside of you and giving you a couple of tools for you to start to allow it out. But it's important to understand, I was having a conversation with my book age the other day and somehow we got onto the topic of podcasts. I think she was asking like, hey, your podcasts really start to blow up, you know, tell me more about that. And I said, I told her, I said, you know, early on I was hesitant to do a podcast. Like I felt like I didn't really have a message to share with other people or if I did, I'd stumble over my words or I wouldn't be as good as the other people out there. I mean, there are people who've been podcast years. And I said, and I realized something. I mentioned two people who are in like probably the top 50 of all podcasts right now. And I'm like, they're not that good. They're just not that good. I actually heard the two of them on an interview together. One of them had the other one on the show and the one said, well, I'm a little intimidated right now. You know, normally I don't have on other podcasters, great pod. And I'm like, the guy's not that good. It's not that good. And it's not a criticism. What I'm saying is you're comparing yourself to a very low bar. A lot of people out there who are doing what you want to be doing or some version of it, because whatever it is that you're meant to do in the world, it's unique to you. It's like, you know, um, your, your own finger. So even though other people may do something similar to you, you're meant to do it in your way. It's a very low bar out the people we see out there who are successful. It's just because they go and do it and they do it consistently. I remember Chris Williamson from modern wisdom saying something like, um, 95% of people give up before recording their 21st pod and Alex Hormozy, who he was interviewing in that episode said, it's so easy to, all you got to do is show up. But if, if you think that other people are so good or uniquely good or so brilliant or so intelligent, and you start pairing your brilliance or your intelligence to theirs and you lose that battle, you're not going to record the first podcast episode. You're not going to record the first sentence of your book. You're not going to even tell the person who comes up to you, who you know, you could help like, Hey, I think I could help you. How about we have a phone conversation and see if, you know, maybe there's an opportunity for me to support you and get into one of your coaching programs or be a customer client of your business. So number one is like the bar's really low. So are there great people out there? Yeah, of course. There are really good people out there. There are lots of people that I admire, but the space is really big. Like there's 7 billion people on the planet. A small portion of them need your help, whether it's philanthropy, whether it's business, whether it's you creating artwork that they're going to enjoy, like whatever your passion and purpose is or ends up being, you only need a small fraction of the 7 billion people that have a huge audience that you could be helping. And maybe your work is not to help masses of people, but strategically handfuls of people or educate the next generation of children, right? It doesn't have to be big numbers, but like noble, powerful, transformative work. But you can't do that if you're comparing yourself to other people because you think other people are so good. And so again, I'm not trying to bash other people. I'm just saying most of them aren't that good. They're just not. And you see that and you know that because a lot of times you'll have this feeling, especially if you're already clear on what you want to do in the world. You're like, man, they're not even that good. It's like, yeah, pay attention.attention. Pay attention to that in a healthy way. And you know what my book agent said? She said, no, you know what they're really good at? I said, what? She said, living what you do. Because you don't have to be that smart. That's not how the game works in order to be successful. I got a lot of friends way more successful than me that you would probably say are not intellectually act smart. And there are people way smarter than me who are less successful than I am. And intelligence functions in so many different ways. You know, I happen to be like academically intelligent. You might be more emotionally intelligent than I am. You might be more visually intelligent than I am. You might be way more empathetic than I am. You've had other lived experiences that make you quote unquote more intelligent in your own unique way, way more than I am. And so it's important to understand that. Here's another thing to understand when we're comparing ourselves to other people, which is the mechanism of distraction that prevents us from tapping into our greatness and from you being the badass that you are. Again, will it happen tomorrow? No. But if you just practice the few things that I'm sharing with you on this episode imperfectly and inconsistently over time, you'll create massive transformation. You don't even have to do it perfect. You don't even have to do it every day. But my hope is is that you hear what I'm saying so that a couple of times you stop comparing when you would have gone down that compare rabbit based on what I'm sharing with you now. You stop telling yourself that the reasons why you aren't great or you don't have potential is because you're going to challenge. Because that's not true. If just a couple of times you can remind yourself of these two things that I'm telling you, you can create huge shifts in your life. Why else do we compare ourselves to other people? What's the mistake we make when we compare ourselves to other people? Here's a mistake. There's a lot of people out there who aren't even telling the truth. They're not even telling the truth about what you're comparing yourself. Again, I debated in my own head around whether I'd mention this because there's you know there's a lot big part of me that's like I don't mention names but it's pretty public in the spiritual and personal development space. You know there was this big controversy over Jay Shetty. Jay Shetty came on the scene really really fast. You know he started out on Facebook with these you know Facebook reels that like I really enjoyed watching. They were kind of creative and it's like cool content and I was like learning from a monk you know and then he was on Ellen talking about how he was a monk and then it came out that like maybe he's not a monk and I don't know whether he was a monk or not. I don't really care what Jay Shetty's doing. What I care about is that you don't pay attention to someone thinking they're bigger or better than you and therefore disallowing your own greatness. I don't want you thinking that you got to be a monk or you got to be a neuroscientist or you got to lose an arm in order for your story to be told and in order for there to be something inside of you that's very important for the world to be able to see. You need to be seen and I know this is a fact. I know that if you're here listening to this episode it's because greatness is calling you into the next level. You know and then after that I was like wow Jay Shetty's got a lot of really great quotes. Then it turns out they're not his quote. Now for that you know shame on Jay Shetty. You know you can't you can't be saying well my social media team didn't know. It's like no you were pretending to say profound things and so now it starts to put into question the whole monk right. But people cheat. People cheat and they lie and let them. It's fine. God blessed them and you know what we cheat too and I think if you're doing the right thing you hold yourself accountable and you admit when you cheat. But just know you're comparing yourself to people who are faking it till they make it. Jay Shetty's now interviewing Michelle Obama and who knows if he was ever a monk and we know that those quotes hit. But it helped build up his social media audience. He's helped a lot of people but deep down inside he's always gonna know he cheated. It's like cyclists doping. They cheated. You know it's like mixed martial arts fighters or combat fighters you know doping. They're cheating. You'll always know you cheated and none of us are perfect but just know that some people are cheating so stop comparing yourselves to them. You know take pride in your honesty and you know what if you're not honest start being a more honest person. Got an email today from a guy who's sort of a self proclaimed number one expert in the peak performance space and some of you will know who I'm talking about. I'm not here to bash people. I'm here for you to stop comparing yourself people who are cheating or who are not that good. So you can go do your own thing right and also acknowledge the people who are great and be inspired by them you know. But this guy is you know the number one in the you know peak performance category and if you actually go look I think it was Forbes who named him that. You go look at it and it was actually one of his certified coaches who wrote a blog post on Forbes. So now Forbes says you know now he says Forbes says I'm the number one. Got an email from him today. Now he's apparently the number one mindset coach in the world. Now that did trigger my ego. I'm not impervious to this right but he's like hey I'm having an event with this other guy. So you get the number one and number two mindset coaches in the world. I'm like really? Come on. You know you're you're cheating. You're cheating. I know you're cheating. My background's in internet marketing. I know your YouTube views are fake. I can go look at it and I can see your bio and you're talking about New York Times best-selling author 500 million YouTube views. Your YouTube views are fake. Nobody gets a hundred thousand views in 12 life. It's impossible. It's impossible. So so people are cheating and by the way don't don't take me down my rabbit trail because I'm like and you're not even close to the number one or number two best mindset coach in the world. Number one like if I'm gonna pick my starting five number one I take Jesus Christ and then okay like if we have to go with modern mindset coaches number two I'm taking the goat Tony Robbins and we'll build from there. So unless you got Jesus and Tony Robbins on stage you don't have the number one and number two mindset coaches at your event. But just know that this is what happens right and it's so weird to even think about right like why are why are we competing like this? Why do we need to be number one or number two? Is that what it's about? We have to be kind of throned the best in the world and by the way who's doing the you know mindset Olympics? I wasn't invited. Where's this competition take? But you know what we're all susceptible to it. I've done the same thing. I had an article I was invited to write an article in success magazine back in 2019. I was just starting to get going. Super cool right that success magazine allowed me to write a six-page article on mindset and business for entrepreneurs and it was right in the middle of the of the edition with a full picture of me. It was super exciting and they asked me to write my own like little mini bio and so in it I was like you know David Bear is a leading expert on mindset and business. Success magazine. And so now I started using it. I still use it on my marketing but I wrote that about myself. So you know everybody fudges the lines. It's not to judge other people even though this one triggered. It's for it to not trigger you. That's the point right. Most people aren't that good but they're doing it so they win. So can you. Other people that you see that you think are better than you are doping. They're cheating. Let them cheat. At the end of the day it's an insatiable hole inside of them and they're gonna have chasing it chasing it chasing it. Frankly we should feel compassion because those same insecurities that are inside them are inside of them. But we're trying to work with them. That's why you're watching this video and why you're a part of this community and channel. Number three is there's great people out there. You know I love Esther Hicks who channels Abraham. I mean I don't really love Esther Hicks. I don't know Esther Hicks. I know Abraham. One of the greatest spiritual teacher to put Abraham on my team. Abraham's my power forward. Top three. Jesus, Tony Robbins, Abraham. Not these two. But you know I don't think Esther Hicks is cheating and Abraham's cheating. They're just great and I love them. And you know what if they're great that means there's greatness inside of me. That means there's greatness inside of you. Eckhart Tolle. Is Eckhart Tolle faking his New York Times you know bestseller campaigns by buying 60,000 books himself? That's what people do. No. Eckhart's probably not doing. Power of Now was an unbelievable book. Eckhart is one of the greatest modern spiritual teachers. I love it. I love him. Does it mean it doesn't trigger me sometimes when that part of me that compares wants to compare where I'm at to where he is and sort of create this illusion that there's like only space for one person? No. I have to catch myself. But there's great people out there and they inspire. So stop comparing yourself to others. If you're gonna notice other people start paying attention to those people you like. Fill your newsfeed with them. Start watching their videos. Put those people in your ears. Go to those people's events. Become a part of those people communities and be a part of that authentic res. And you know what? Nobody's perfect. So I wouldn't be surprised if there's a skeleton in Abraham's closet and a skeleton in Eckhart Tolle's closet. You're not perfect too. You don't need to. Right? But just know that. Number three. How do we unlock greatness? Number one we talked about. Know it's there. It's there. It's in you. All the oppression that's taking place. That is the greatness making process. And because you're here that means your greatness is wanting to come out of you. Bigger. Better. Fast. That inner badass. Number two. Stop comparing. That's a big block. Every time you start to get that quiet whisper you start comparing. If you're comparing as a habit because it's so available on social media. You think people are bigger and better than you when they're not. That's gonna prevent your greatness from emerging. The clarity that you're looking for. The execution plan or the coincidences or the synchronicities from showing up. Number three. This is really important. I don't know if you saw the Arnold Schwarzenegger documentary series. And Arnold had a three-part docu-series about his life on Netflix. And one of the things that he talks about is he also spoke about this in his Success Prince fantastic keynote on YouTube. Relax. You have to relax. You have to stop trying. Now there's a paradox. You're like wait a minute. I I'm wanting to become greater and bigger and better than I am right now. Struggling. Dave you've sort of convinced me that yeah maybe there's something out of me. I felt warm. Maybe it's been a while since I've had a conversation with that part of me. I didn't realize that the challenges that I'm going through right now are part of my greatness and that the wound is the way. Okay you've got me. Don't I need to do something? And my answer is you will do some from a place of inspiration when you're relaxed. If you try to push it and do it there's resistance. One of the fundamental principles that I teach and if you're a repeat listener to the channel and part of our community you may be tired of me saying it but I'm gonna say it again is that if I was gonna distill all of personal growth down into one simple distinction it would be an equation. Which reads desire plus non-resistance equals desired. Desire plus non-resistance equals desired result. If you have a desire and no resist, no limiting belief, no negative habits thought, no negative habits of emotion, no unprocessed or unmetabolized trauma, you will have the thoughts and ideas, take the proper action, feel the proper emotion to 100% of time reduce that desire. And you will be so present in life because you won't be in a sympathetic expression, nervousness, fight or flight. What you're in when you're putting pressure on yourself, when you're worrying, when you're paring, when you're feeling good enough, you're not present for life. If you're in non-resistance, you'll be present for life and then you'll see how life is working with you. Produce those extraordinary results to help you bring your great world. The synchronicities, coincidence. That's another thing that Arnold says. He says, people say that I am a self-made man, right? He goes, there's no such thing. So he said, without all of these other producers, the people who believed in him, Joe Weider, his friend, all the Olympia people, all the people who believed in him to be governor, right? Everything that happened and unfolded, all the coincidences and synchronicities, the fact that he got cast as Conan the Barbarian, a perfect role for him and then all of a sudden these movies started to be written where he was the perfect character like Terminator. He's like, my accent, which was a liability, became the reason why people hired me. My body, which was a liability, was the reason why people cast me in these movies. And so you have to understand that as you relax, you start to allow the great mechanism of life to coordinate the materialization of your great because you never do it on you. There's so many people who have helped me along the way, coaches, team members, mentors, people that I put in my ears when I was in the depths of my addiction, that helped me get out of my addiction. It's a group project. This is not a do-it-yourself project. And so it's very important that you relax. It's important that you start enjoying your life. It's important that you start connecting with other people and living a fellowship. It's important for you to be in service because when you're in service, you'll feel better about yourself. You go help other people, you'll feel good about yourself. And it's important for you to just make these small increment changes on a daily basis. You don't have to do it all at once, but you got to start relaxing. You got to start enjoying your life. Some of my most stressed out clients, really successful CEOs, my business plan for them when they're in a time of business crisis and they something is really, really important, they've got to figure out a way to move their business forward. A lot of times my business plan is go spend time, go play with dog, go for a walk. You got to step away from, relax. And as you relax, you start to tap into, tune into those ideas, clarity that you're looking for around, what the next steps are. And you start allowing for these miracles to start showing people that you're gonna meet. Situations and circumstances that are gonna start paving the way forward as you go from where you are today, which is by the way, as great as you'll ever be. There's nothing we need to really add to you. Sure, you'll learn and grow over time, but the greatness is inside of you right now. But from where you are today to the full unleashed, you have a masterpiece inside. And when a sculptor creates a masterpiece, I want you to think about for him, they don't find a bunch of pieces of clay and stick them all together in order to create a masterpiece sculpt. They don't like sculpt perfect arm and then attach block of a body and then they find a couple of eyeballs they sculpt out of another set of Play-Doh and put it on top of the head that they've attached. Right? Like a Mr. Potato Head. No. The sculptor takes a raw block clay and removes what doesn't belong. And what you have left is the mass. Right now, you're probably feeling like a raw block clay. What I'm just in terms how to unlock greatness is simply start to let go of what doesn't. Let go of these ideas that you're not that great. Let go of the comparing yourself to other people. You know what? A lot of them really aren't that good. Some of them are cheating and some have no reason for you to compare yourself to them because you're on your own unique trajectory because all seven billion people on this planet have a unique purpose and you have yours. And it's as great and spectacular as mine or anybody else. And number three, now that you know this, don't push it. Don't try so. Relax. Take the pressure off yourself. Go easy. You're progressing according to a perfect time. Your time. And on that timeline, this conversation was destined. And so are all of the other conversations that are already lined up. So why don't you just enjoy your life and relax as you start to roll through one after another after another. Now, does that mean you just sit on your sofa when you have an inspired idea that kind of scares you to take action and start doing something like writing the first line of your book or reaching out to someone or recording your first podcast episode? No. Courage is required. But that's different than pushing it. That's different than a lot of hustle and grind. Talk today's entrepreneurial kind of purpose. I want you to relax. You've been doing all the presh cook. You've been doing plenty of not relax, right? Even if you haven't been particularly active, you've not been relaxed. Try to relax. Know that you're great. Stop comparing. Relax. And see what happens. And as the things start to unfold, keep me up. Because we're on this journey. Like I said, it's not a do-it-yourself project. Like Arnold said, nobody is a self. So find communities. Find conversations that you can be a part of. Stay a part of them. You know, really find people who are resonant at the level of great inside of you. And go be with them. Learn, spend, take it. I love you very much. You're in the right place at the right time. So if you love this episode, share it with somebody else. Hear it. Do me a favor if you haven't yet. Subscribe. Leave me a review. Just give me some feedback. I want to know if you want more of this or you want what else, how else. I will see you in the next one.
