Speaker A

Welcome to Love Notes from Rhonda.

Speaker A

And today is the day to put your life into action.

Speaker A

Your dreams, your wants, your desires.

Speaker A

Start putting them into action.

Speaker A

So what does that mean?

Speaker A

First of all, give them credence.

Speaker A

Actually believe them.

Speaker A

Actually decide that if those dreams are in your heart, that they're yours.

Speaker A

If you have desires, if they're in your heart and they keep bubbling up, they're yours.

Speaker A

There's nothing wrong with dreams.

Speaker A

There's nothing wrong with wants.

Speaker A

There's nothing wrong with desires.

Speaker A

They're yours and actually they help make up who you are.

Speaker A

Your dreams are different than my dreams and my dreams are different than Sally's dreams or Frank's dreams in specifics.

Speaker A

But we all have the same larger dream, the same quote unquote generic dreams.

Speaker A

We all want to be loved.

Speaker A

We all want to feel like we belong.

Speaker A

We all want financial security.

Speaker A

We all want to feel safe in our homes.

Speaker A

We all want family and friends to rally around us if we need help.

Speaker A

We want the same things.

Speaker A

We want a strong physical body.

Speaker A

We want to feel good about who we are.

Speaker A

We want to be confident when we walk into a room.

Speaker A

We want to be able to speak up.

Speaker A

All of us want the same thing.

Speaker A

We want to feel like we are okay, and more than okay being who we are, that we have permission to be who we are, that we really are that light that we want to be.

Speaker A

So we all generically want the same things.

Speaker A

And that's why if you really got that, embraced, that integrated, that you'd find so much more connection with just about anybody.

Speaker A

I don't care who it is, somebody who you think is just the opposite of you, you actually both want the same thing.

Speaker A

You both want to take care of your children.

Speaker A

You both want a safe home.

Speaker A

You both want to feel good about your body.

Speaker A

You both want to have confidence.

Speaker A

You both want to feel loved and admired and respected.

Speaker A

We all want the same things.

Speaker A

So I want you to think about you and your wants that are specific to you.

Speaker A

And then I want you to think about the generic wants of the world because again, we all want the same things.

Speaker A

So who in your life do you judge their wants, judge their way that they do it specifically right, because again, we all have the same generic wants.

Speaker A

And now we each individualize them, make them unique to us, how we are going to go about doing it, what we.

Speaker A

How we want to take action, how we hope it comes true.

Speaker A

So think about somebody right now that you don't like, the way they're going about with their dreams, getting Their needs met, wants, desires.

Speaker A

You don't like the way they're doing it.

Speaker A

Well, what if you could find, Dig a little deep.

Speaker A

You could find a way for them to want exactly what you want.

Speaker A

You want safety, they want safety, they want health, you want health, they want to feel loved, you want to feel loved.

Speaker A

We all want the same things.

Speaker A

We just go about it very differently.

Speaker A

So your assignment today is to start thinking about the people that you judge, the people that you think are less than people that you don't maybe like, people that you just don't approve of, how they're going about life.

Speaker A

And I want you to figure out, ask yourself, dive deep, dig deep on how their wants, needs, desires are exactly like yours from a generic point of view.

Speaker A

They're exactly like yours.

Speaker A

They're just going about it differently.

Speaker A

So if you can see, put that lens on, that filter on and look through the filter of we all want the same thing, we're just going about it differently.

Speaker A

I bet you could find a way to connect to that person that you may judge, that you may put down, that you may scorn, that you might even hate.

Speaker A

If you and that person were really just trying to get your needs met.

Speaker A

And by the way, you had the same needs and you had the same wants and desires and dreams generically, how would you see them differently?

Speaker A

And by the way, how much more permission would you give yourself to go for your dreams?

Speaker A

Because today is the day to start taking action and start believing that your dreams, wants, desires matter.

Speaker A

And by the way, that other person's dreams, desires and wants, they matter too.

Speaker A

There's only one of us here.

Speaker A

And when you can love yourself, it's a heck of a lot easier to love someone else.

Speaker A

And oh, by the way, if that feels hard, then practice loving somebody else and it reverts back to you will eventually love you.

Speaker A

Doesn't matter which way it goes, it will eventually happen.

Speaker A

So today, see the similarities in you, not the differences.

Speaker A

Until next time, be fearless.

Speaker A

I love you.
