Welcome back podcast fam. Uh, I'm so excited to dive into today's episode. I've got lots of notes today because I've got so much to just riff on and teach and dive in with you. And these five things, literally, we're going to dive into five things that will help you get to where you want to go in business. And these five things that we're going to dive into. Transformed my business, and this is not anything marketing strategy as far as like business front end stuff. But this is the stuff that is like the behind the scenes stuff and something that I share with my clients all the time. And I want to pour into you is who you are behind the scenes. Of your business matters. This matters so much and really affects your outcome, your income, who you be, how you act, it all plays a role. And so we're going to dive into this today because when we master this and we're aware of these things forced to be reckoned with, and you guys, you're here for a reason, you're here because you want to learn, you want to grow, you want to make more money and you want to have more money. And that starts with. So let's dive in. Number one today is letting go of victim hood and the Laming as an entrepreneur. It is in. And what are words for so early in this episode of are already messing up words. Do we expect anything less? No, we're not perfect around here. Right? So letting go of victim, hood and blaming, and as an entrepreneur taking radical responsible. Because so often it is really easy to project and blame others. People in our families, coaches, mentors, friends, circumstances, life, et cetera. It's so easy to blame and project. Why things might not be happening or why we're unhappy or why we're not getting results. I hear this all the time. All the time and I kid you not taking radical responsibility for my results in my business have changed. My life changed my life because when we sit in victim mode, we actually give our power away. Because what that does, when we sit in victim mode, we like want to control everything. So we're like contracting and like we're worrying and we're doubting and it's like this heavy type of feeling. I know, you know what I mean? It's like every entrepreneur, I like 99% of entrepreneurs experience. This I've been here and we like just try and control, but that that's not. Literally blaming victim hood woe is me projecting. You're never going to get to where you want to go from that place, because you're literally giving all of your power away to external things and or people and or circumstances. But when you take radical responsibility and you stop blaming others for where you are right now, for what you're doing for what's transpired for what's happened, you will take your power back. And like, here's the thing. You have the ability to overcome this. You have the ability at any moment. To take radical responsibility for your actions, inactions investments, not investing, showing up, not showing up it it's all up to you. So take your power back because you'll be amazed at what happens when you do number two, limiting beliefs on yourself and your desires. We do this so often. And we limit ourselves because we have these big dreams and these big goals and these big desires. And we think about them. And at first they're exciting. And then we take these goals and we make them feel hard because we look at them and we're like the, how, how I haven't done it before. How, how, how, how, oh, no, it's not going to happen. And then what happens is we create all these limiting beliefs and reasons as to why it can't happen. And we limit ourselves from even trying, or even trying a little bit when really think about the 50 K or 30 K or a hundred K whatever K month you want to make or whatever it is you want to do quit the full-time job, whatever it is, whatever the goal is by the whole. We have these big lofty goals that at first they're so exciting and you smile and you're like, oh my gosh. Imagine if that was my life. Imagine if I did that imagine, and it's so fun and it's flirty. And it's like, yes. And then we make them really heavy and we start making our goals fun. But your goals are meant to stay on your goals are meant to be fun. They're not meant to be these things that pull you down and are torturous for you. These are your desires. Your goal is literally a desire and here's the thing you are worthy of everything you want and desire. Write that down, put it on your mirror, put it in your office. Pardon your phone case, the background of your phone. If it's a desire for something you've thought about and you want it, you can have it. That's the truth that, that thought that belief, that excitement around the goal, the desire was there on purpose. It wasn't just a thing that came into your mind for them, for them, the world, the universe, God, whatever you believe in higher power. To then say, Nope, you can't have it. You thought about it a you can't ever have that. No, that's not how it goes. Your soul has a desire on purpose it's on purpose. And so when you have those exciting goals, as exciting desires, it's playing and staying in the fun around it, and then figuring out how, of course taking the necessary steps to get towards the desire, whatever that is, whatever it is, the investments. The circle of friends, quitting the job, whatever it is, whatever that next step is, that's going to lead you toward your desire, but you have a desire for a reason. Number three, getting rid of old habits or routines that no longer serve you. This is so good. And I'm going to give you an example because I feel like this is going to hit home for a lot of people, like a bad habit and or routine could literally be scrolling through your phone for hours. On Instagram, tick talk, and just comparing yourself, going through Facebook groups and like feeling like shit post after post, after post after post, and it's mind numbing as driven people, we like to be busy, right? Like we like sometimes are unfamiliar with freedom. We want freedom. We say we want freedom and then we get it. And it's like, we try and fill every pocket of the day with things. And a lot of the time we create bad habits doing so, because we're like just trying to. Get comfortable with freedom, but sometimes we're really uncomfortable with it that we then create bad habits and our routines to fill the time. And that a bad habit is scrolling through social media. Something else could be binge watching TV for hours on end. I don't think that that's not like a terrible thing, but like if it's keeping you from showing up and not doing the things, you're an avoidance and not doing the things that you know, you want to be doing, or you should be doing inside of business to grow. Yeah. That's something to look at. And then just doing things that don't serve you, whatever that might be. Maybe it's, you've been wanting to get healthier, to have more energy, and then you keep not moving your body. You keep avoiding working out and you're not eating the foods that you desire to actually eat that are gonna make you feel good, whatever it might be crazy. New habits and creating habits that actually move you forward will change your life. And I'm gonna give you, like you guys know it's a heart to heart podcast. We are real deal. I used to be so guilty of spending so much time. On social media. Like I was like addicted to it so much. So where it was, I got post, but then I would like spend all day on social media. I'd get off client calls and go back on Instagram. I'd like be sitting on the couch and I'd be on Instagram. I'd be in conversations with people and I'd be on Instagram. I was like obsessed with knowing what everyone else was up to and what that did. That for a while, kept me in this just place of complete comparison. My ideas felt stale. And in time I wanted to show up, I was not in my power and it was like just constantly making myself feel like shit, because it was easier to just sit and scroll than actually like do the empowering things. And so this is where, like your habits, your routines that no longer serve you get rid of them. Here's the thing you don't need to know what anyone else is doing to have a six figure, multiple six figure seven figure business. Literally you'll be better off not knowing what people are. I kid you not like my biz besties, I always laugh. And they're like, oh, do you know who so-and-so is in the industry? Or like so-and-so is doing this? Or did you see that, like this person's doing this? And I'm like, no, I don't, I don't even know what you're talking about. And that's, cause I don't need to know. I don't need to know what everyone else is doing. Like head down, stay in your lane. You will be amazed at what happens. You will be amazed at how much you achieve and what happens for you. And I want to give you a challenge. From this podcast, choose one routine and or habit. That's not serving you and start eliminating it today. Start being more mindful of it today. And I know like the social media thing, it could be a challenge. Like for some of us it's hard. So our businesses are on, we run businesses that happen on social media. You know what I mean? We mark it on social media, but like tune in, live your life. Have fun. And of course rest like rest is essential or, you know, abreast, but there are things that we do that actually keep us from growing and are out of alignment with our true path. And this is something to be so mindful of and a really great exercise to actually work through. This is just something I love doing. And I actually had done this really early on in my business. Um, and I feel that this is something to do like. Contest consistently throughout the year in business, because it's, it's a really easy and great way to get you back into alignment of what you actually want your life and business to look like. So what I want you to do is take a piece of paper. I want you to write two columns, my dream life. What would that actual dream life look like? Feel like from the time I wake up to the time I go to bed. And then on the other side, what is my life currently like? What do I spend my time doing from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM? Whatever some of you are like, which I never get up at six, whatever time you wake up in the morning, whatever time you go to bed. I get up really early, really early. And I go to bed really early. Like I was asleep at 8:00 PM last night. I am like a grandma that was not purpose, but I fell asleep. And so like, think about your day, your life currently. How do you, what do you spend your time doing? And then what you're gonna be able to do is you're going to be able to see what correlates with like your future self, what you actually desire in your life, business, et cetera. And then you're gonna be able to see what doesn't. And then what I want you to do is slowly, I want you to start adding things from your dream life, to your life, right? Things that will start to get you on that path, to where you actually want to go. Doing things about benefit you. If one of those things in your dream life is like walking every day, start walking maybe every other day. Maybe it's spending less time on social media. Start spending less time on social. Maybe it's leaving the house once a day, start leaving the house. Maybe it's calling your parents every day, whatever it is. And this is what will get you into alignment. This is what will have you feeling better every day. And when people say energy is a thing, energy is a thing. And I don't mean being the loudest person in the room, screaming to me on social media and being like, oh, work with me. Hopefully I didn't hurt your ears, but what I mean. Being the person that's like confident and assured and genuinely whole body. Hell yeah. Excited, trusting that's alignment. That's the energy that we're so attracted to that. So it's magnetic and like that, that person, that version of you, she exists. But we've got to get rid of some of those bad habits and routines, and really start cultivating and creating the life. You actually want something for me. I'll give you guys an example is being more present in my life and like actually like nurturing my relationship with Khan like that he is my person. And so my conversations with him, the things that we do, I want to make sure that I'm 1000% present because we'll never get this time back soon. We'll have kids. You know, there's like this whole future that we're planning and we can't wait for it. But also this moment, this part of our lives, that's just us. We're not going to get it back. And I don't want to look back and be like, I was always on my phone. I wasn't even listening to him. I wasn't even having fun. I was constantly worrying about the business and me having more fun in my personal life. Not working all the time. Yeah. That's going to call in more clients. I'm going to be happier. I'm going to be able to hold more space for more. So I challenge you to really do this exercise. Number four, people that keep you in a low vibe, get rid of them and, or distance yourself from them, people that keep you stuck, maybe people that you don't resonate with anymore. Even people you follow on social that like maybe you once worked with them. You don't resonate with them anymore. Mute them. It's fine. It's all. I've done that. It's fine. We grow, we expand, we change, they change. Get it out of your life. There might even be former clients that like you used to work with and you see their stuff. And it just is like, ah, like it's triggering me or it doesn't feel good or no, it's okay. Let it go release it. Get rid of it. People in your life that keep you stuck. And a lot of the time who we associate. Shape us. And this is where, like, you guys know, like I'm a big proponent of masterminds and group programs, like the way in which I facilitate mine and run mine. Like they are life changing. The women that come into my world are forever changed. I know that I own that because of the community and like the way in which I hold space and these women hold space for each other, they rise to get. They become versions of themselves. They have only dreamed of, because of the people that they surround themselves in those containers. This is where getting in the room is huge pay to get in the energy of people. And I don't mean just like invest to be in their energy. No, but I mean like pay to learn from them and grow with. And surround yourself with other like-minded people that are growing and doing the unthinkable bowl, get in the room with people that inspire you. People that you're like, holy crap. I just like want to like, just learn everything from her, but you doing nothing and sitting still, well, that's going to keep you stuck. And then again, that's going back to number one here, taking her out of core responsibility for where. So that's like really changeable. That's something that like you guys have complete control over. And this is like the whole point of today. Everything that we're talking about, you have control over. You can change in a moment in a week, in a day, it's just deciding it's taking this what we're talking about to a serious level, and actually implementing your life. Your business income will, will change. It will change a number five. Is waiting for the right time or the easy way out. Oh, I know. Cause even when I wrote that, like I felt something the right time, almost never exists. It almost never exists. And I can't tell you, like this is going to come from like a tough love moment. I understand that there are certain times. In life in business when it's right to invest in when it's not like I fully understand that. But I also see a lot of the time I have an amazing community and I have a lot of women in my community that hold themselves back and they're always waiting for the right time. And when we told this happened, when this has done in my life, I'm going to do this when like, then I'll invest. When I go through this, then I'm going to invest in my business. But like in the meantime, you're seeing. In doing things in your personal life, and then also holding yourself back from growing in your business. I think it could be simultaneous. I think you can have a business that's thriving and grow and be massively supported while you're focusing on something in your personal life. I'm gonna give you guys an example this past year. I haven't talked about this publicly on the podcast yet. Um, I will, I'll probably do a whole episode on it in the. Weeks or so, um, but I talked about this to my Facebook group. If you're not in there, go to the show notes here, get inside of there. Massive value happens inside of that group. Highly recommend being inside of there for me this past year 2020. Has been a very personal year for me, both of my parents got sick this year. I'm on very serious levels, are planning a wedding. Um, and it just, it was heavy. It is heavy. My mom right now starting starting chemo November 1st. It's like November 5th as I'm recording this. Um, and my dad was hospital law over the last two to three months, diagnosed with congestive heart failure. And I shared this very openly with you because I could have done two things this year. I could have literally said. Fuck, which I did, but I could, I could've said, fuck, everything's gonna fall apart because my personal life is so heavy right now, but I actually didn't. I leaned into the support that I have. I have mentors, I leaned in, I invested more and allowed myself to be massively held and decided this year. You know what? This business, this is my year of mastering duality for holding massive space for my incredible clients, new clients. My community, et cetera, while also holding massive space for me and my family. Am I not gonna lie? I'm really proud of myself. We, we are crushing it this year and it was a really trying, it is a really trying year personally. And we moved our wedding. We're supposed to get married in March of 2022. We moved the date due to both my parents being sick. It was, that was devastating to do Allie and my brides. I had to move your wedding tour to cause a COVID like, I know, you know, It was scary. It was devastating. It felt embarrassing. There were so many things that I've been navigating outside of business, but my business still gets to grow. And that's where, like, there's never going to be a right time. It's never going to be perfect. When you have the perfect clear calendar. Many of you listening have kids have full-time jobs, planning to leave jobs going through IVF. I UI, there are so many things that are happening in your personal lives right now. And there's never going to be a perfect time, but here's the thing. My belief, I believe you can be a six figure, multiple six, figure seven figure entrepreneur while living your life, navigating your life, going through the seasons of life because they will always exist and there will never be a perfect time or right time. And the right time really equates to when I feel comfortable. That's what we tell ourselves. Like really, if you were to break down, when we say all it's not the right time, the right time really equates to when, when I will feel comfortable, but again, a tough love moment. You're never going to feel comfortable doing it unless you get used to doing it. Let's just like the truth. The only way to feel comfortable or not. It's just start doing the things that you're avoiding doing, make it a natural thing. Investing. For example, I always say this. I don't believe investing is easy by no means. Is it easy? As I continually invest in my business and they're higher investments, larger investments, longer term investments, et cetera. It's a new level of growth, always and trust within myself. Always. However, it's gotten easier in the sense of like I'm more using. It feels more normal. It's not as terrifying. It's one example, launching, maybe you're terrified of it, but the more you do it, the easier it is, the more comfortable it is. Just like anything. The only way to feel comfortable or natural is to start doing it. The brain is so used to and conditioned to current circumstances, and we love to play in the comfort zone, but really our comfort zone is more uncomfortable than doing this. And the body, the mind, the body is trained to be doing our current routines. Whether we like that routine or not, we've trained ourselves. It's a comfort thing. It's something we're used to doing, like sitting and scrolling on social sitting and leaving people on red. Once you asked him, Hey, he put me on the wait list or, Hey, I want to work with you giving the details. Then you leave them on red and you never answer so routine that you create. It's not a good one. I'm a firm believer that closing all the loops. That's an energy waver. That's an energy leak, by the way, anytime I reach out to someone for something, I always close that loop. I'll let them know. Hey, I'm thinking about it. Just, I like I'm thinking about it. I'm going to let you know. I'm like the next 24 hours. I will always be direct and let them know. I will tell them no when it's not a good fit, not the right time, et cetera, or else tell you to tell them. Yes, I'm normal. I'm very decisive person and I believe it. That's why I'm so sorry. And the same goes for you. You can be decisive, but we've just stopped waiting for the right time because it doesn't exist. And so with that, I'm going to take all of these things. I'm going to take these five things. I want you to sit on them, let them marinate and change what needs to be changed. Things can change so quickly, so, so quickly when you allow them to, and that could be the next investment you make doing the next thing in business. That's terrifying. Getting in the room with people do that. You know, we're going to push you outside of your comfort zone, whatever that might be for you do it. Your future self will. Thank you. I love you guys.
