These are just like small town think flower farms things spring things like beautiful time for blossoming. It's a little bit of, a little bit of intrigue. Not really. Just cozy mis, just cozy vibes. So if you would like some cozy mysteries, we do have some recommendations for you to check out some of our previous episodes and our playlist. Of Cozy Mystery recommendations. But now let's go to the cozy Romans vibe. So Cottage Core Spring Fling, spring Flower Farms, and everything in between. These episodes, these recommendations are five romantic reads that will transport you to pictures, small town filled with bookstores, flower shops, and just lovely love stories. If you're moved for growing sunshine pastry, feel enemies to lovers. Charming library settings. I found them for you. So let's get to the recommendations. The first book I wanna talk about is a long weighted the, it's a tongue twister. It is a long weighted, if you like. I think if you like the pumpkin spice latte the Pumpkin Spice Cafe. This is, I think this is the fourth book in the series and it's dropper and it's the Strawberry Patch Pancake House by Laura Gilmore. So this book is series. This series is sat in a small town where you just imagine like everyone knows each other. It's basically Gilmore Girls in a book form. The first book is the Pumpkin Spice Cafe, which actually have an episode telling you five to write, read for the fall. But this is a spring version of it, and it's basically, a Aurora renowned chef moved to a small town to open a breakfast place, and so it's a pancake store, pancake house, like, ihop, everything in between, or Kiki's, our first watch, and he actually has a daughter, so he needs to he needs to hire a nanny, so he hires a free spirit. Who is completely their, who's completely their opposite to take care of his daughter and does is low burn romance, as we love and is full of more family, of course, delicious pancakes and just shenanigans in a small town. Everyone knows each other. Think of a Gilmore Girls vibe. Think of the gazebo. Think about. Looks and I don't remember the guy's name who always had the town hall meeting. So think about those vibes. This series is for ya. There's actually a spring se, there's a fall book, the Pumpkin Spice Cafe. There's a Christmas farm book. So there's a I think it's a Christmas Farm something. And then there's the Strawberry Patch Pancake House. So there's four books in the series. If you wanna go down to that. Cozy Core Small Town Vibes Just series is for, and it's for Laura Gilmore. Books, audiobooks are available from the library. The books are actually less than $5, so they're easy to consume if you're buying them an ebook and whatnot. So that's a series for you. All right, we're gonna move to another cafe this time. We're gonna go to the Cozy Croissant Cafe. By Jane Linford. So this one's set in a seaside town, it's enemy lovers which the most, most, most, most mouthwatering croissants. So our heroine is not too happy because her next door neighbor is actually a pastry cheff and de not get along. So, so basically we got the beautiful, and Amy still lovers. She's, he's charming. She's. Just doesn't get him. And so, but he makes croissants. I don't understand the her's issue. He makes croissants. I actually, personally, I buy the croissants from Cherry Joe's. So you buy them frozen you prove them overnight, and you have fresh baked croissants. It's like the biggest, delicious joy to have. So imagine if you have a pastry chef who could make them from scratch, from you. Like I would not give that away. Like, no. So this is a heartwarming, cozy things of family healing, second chances and just everything, like, just a fun, cozy romance. So that's the cozy. Cafe by Jane here. Okay, so the next one, we're gonna move to a flower farm, and it's called The Flower Farm by Rachel Lucas. So if you're, if you imagine you escape yourself to your countryside, think of cottage core, but think about flower farms and just like beautiful flowers everywhere. This book is for you. So Beth is trying to save her family's far Flower farm, and Jack is setting up an outdoor activity center in the same town. So they're competing. They're not supposed to, but they're competing and their worlds collide. In this grumpy sunshine room is about finding beauty and unexpected places. So it's just going fun. If you like different grumpy sunshine. You like competing interests and try to figure out how they can make it work. This book is for you. All right, the next one is one of my favorite authors for small town Romans. She does it all. There's actually a YA book that she wrote about camp. So if you're looking for camp for summer, she has a YA book. That's excellent. But if you love small town Romans. Her back list is to die for, and that's Annie Rains. So this was the Find It Keeper's library. So in this one, Savannah arrives to Bloom, North Carolina hoping for a fresh star. But when a star runs her aunt's library, she finds herself teaming up with soon worthy neighbor to save it. So, by the way, her library is a garden library. How fun is that if you haven't been to Puerto Rico? Actually, I'm from Puerto Rico, just ffy. I, there's actually a li like an outdoor like neighborhood library outside in one of the main streets to get to the tourist town. It's kinda like fun 'cause there's like, it's like basically a wall full of books and you just like, you can pick and choose. It's kinda like a little free library, but just there. I always pass it by. 'cause my Pilates studio is actually around the corner, so I pass it by and I always wanna just go and like check what books I have. I'm surprised like the Puerto Rican book bookish community is large and growing it's, which is amazing. As someone who was a reader, we're on a tangent about books here. I grew up as a reader in Puerto Rico, which actually was like not a lot of options there were there when I was in the eighties and nineties. So I, I read mostly Sweet by high. And whenever we traveled to the US I would just stock up in Word snow with lots of books and my bag was full of books to come back to. But after I left, borders came in and it was awesome. Everyone just jumped to borders. A lot of the independent bookstores did close at a time, and then Borders closed, as we know, rest in peace. And so there was a dire need for new books, new bookstores, and over the past, like 10 years when since gentrification has happened. A lot of bookstores started opening up. We got a Romans bookstore in Puerto Rico. We got actually like a couple bookstores in San Juan. There's one near my parents' house, like 10 minutes away. There's one of, there's one in a couple malls. We also have like a big book circle bookmark, and that has a cafe. A couple bookish influencers go there every week and they cowork and I'm like, envious 'cause I'm like, I wanna do that. So there's plenty of bookstores that do sell independent, like independent romance, Andie, Romans, as well as like any major books. They sell books in Spanish and in English, which is kind of like neat. So if you wanna find some of those books in product in Spanish, those bookstores are there. Some of those bookstores have online shops, so you can definitely apply from them if you wanted to support them. And I know Libra F there's one bookstore in Puerto Rico that does offer, so if you use Libra Fem, I encourage you to use that. So that's like just a little bit about the bookish community in Puerto Rico, at least the bookstores. I would try to do a guide for Substack. In the future. It's on my list. I have like a New York guide also for bookstores. So there their ideas to come to Substack, but in the between just sign off for the Substack. So now let's go back to the recommendations. 'cause I know I went on a tangent, but that's. Part of the joy. I am not editing that out because I think that's just kind of like fun. Okay. Now back to the recommendations. So we are gonna go to define a recommendation is a Tanglewood flower shop by Lilac Mills. And this one is, we had a flower shop, so we had a floris, a high stake. High state competition and Romans and blooms in the perfect, like the perfect bouquet. Okay, so Leanne, you're expected to enter the floristry competition, let alone find yourself drawn to the handsome park ranger. Oh my God. A park ranger. If park rangers are right now. In dire need. We need them. We're sad. And so I actually love this, I love this for land. She connects with a park ranger because they do help with keeping our park safe and clean and support and like save them from like. For our pollution or our bike things. So park rangers are so needed and we're pro park rangers here. So let's go back to the book. So when a past relations resurface and big decisions blooms, would you choose love or chase a new dream elsewhere? So we got some questions here. I have not read this book now. I'm just like, I need to pump this up. I think this book is available at Kindle Unlimitd, so don't quote me on that, but I think it is. I'll put it on the show notes. It's a Kindle Unlimitd but. That's pretty much the recommendations for you. Now, let me know if you're watching this on YouTube. Let me know in the comments what other cottage core book recommendations you look for. Also, who are your cottage core bloggers? Like I have found a couple. I do follow a couple of them, and I just love the vibes. I'm a city girl through and through, and now I live in the suburbs, but is still in a. Bigger city. So I, it's, it sounds amusing to live in a small town and just know the certain things. Everyone knows your name, but it sounds amusing. But I like to live my curly through others. So if you're watching on YouTube, let me know on the replay. If you're listening to the podcast, let me know in the comments. I think Spotify allows you to leave comments so you can leave me like book recommendation on comments. If you don't wanna do any of that stuff, you wanna get more recommendations. Join their substack. If you just go to watch for next blog, you can check more recommendations there, but then you can also sign up for substack and we send three, I think two to three times a week. So I know that those are curated, so gonna make your life a little bit easier and help you get your readings. So those are those are recommendations. Thank you for letting me share them with you. And thank you for understanding the tangents that I want because we got some bookish community in Puerto Rico. I don't think you would expect that. And then we got some cottage core spraying flower by flower farms. Grumpy, sunshine, croons, and a little bit of everything. So thank you so much for listening. I hope you have a great day.
