Oh, my goodness. We are back. I can't stop singing to you. Not sure if it was a good thing or if it's a problem, I normally get DMS on it, like requesting singing from now on. And it's just terrible. Con's going to be like guys, stop telling Michelle to sing around the house, but like, I just love recording for you. And I'm really excited about today's topic. We are diving into all things authority. In the online space authority in business, standing out and having people just see you as this person who knows her shit. I want to pay her money. She has just got it going on. I trust her. I don't need her to convince me to buy from her, all those vibes that we want. And what I'm going to really kind of combined today is a little bit of authority and a little bit of like attraction marketing and what really calls in those dream clients into your world. But ultimately also makes sales easier. And before I get into this, I'm just going to be fully transparent with you because I love you. And this is like, I'd be doing you a disservice if I didn't say this, everything that we're covering today, like I dive into so much deeper and my program sold. Message me for details if you want to get inside of that, it's a four week program, all things selling with ease, standing out, selling in the DMS, filling up programs with the, before they even launch and the way in which to go about this. And it's less about like you having the perfect sales script, knowing what to say, knowing how to say it. And it's more about who you be, that actually calls in the dream clients make selling so much easier until that's everything that we dive into in that program. If you want access, you can do one of two things. You can DM me on Instagram, or you can go to heart, to heart.co spelled just like the podcast. And you can get inside there as well. Now, back to what I want to talk to you about. Here's something I need you to know when it comes to authority, standing out dream clients coming in to pay you with these, you are all ready enough. If you can, if you're sitting somewhere, you have access to a pen and a post-it, note book, write that down somewhere. you're already are enough. Right here and right now I don't care how much money you've made. I don't care how much money you haven't made. I don't care how many clients you have, how many clients you don't have, how many people just bought your next last program that you launched? I don't care. Right here and right now, You're already enough. And here's another thing I need you to know. You don't need to prove it to anybody. I think so often we get in this mindset and belief that I have to prove to people how good I am. I have to prove it to them in order for them to take me serious. And that's a lot of power that you're giving away to the peoples. It's a lot of power that you're giving away to the people that follow you on social media. That's like when we become obsessed with like the likes and the views and like all the exterior validation stuff, we're like, ah, like no one, like my thing, or like no one shared my post or no one shared my real. And it's like, we give away away all of the power, the right here. And right now you're already enough and you don't need to prove it to anybody. You don't. You don't need to prove it to me. You don't need to prove it to your dream clients. Like that's not, what's going to make us buy from you. That's not, what's going to have us giving you thousands of dollars. Did you try to prove yourself to us? And here's another kicker. It's not the sold-out programs or the money, or having all the clients that make you good enough. It's none of that stuff. None of that makes you quote unquote, good enough. It doesn't make you better. We want to have all those things. Of course, there's our desires wants. I want you to have all the money. I want you to have all the clients and all the things, everything that you want and you can have it all, but that doesn't make you an authority that doesn't make you good enough right here. And right now you're already good enough with her, without those things. I need you to know that I've got to like drill that into your head. You weren't good enough right here and right now with, or without. And what actually makes you an authority. What allows you to stand out and has people like so magnetized to you is you believing it, it starts with you. And I know that that can be hard because it's like a confidence thing. It's a belief thing. We thrive off of external validation because we as humans crave that, but it first starts with you believing. That you are enough. You have to believe you're enough before the money, before the clients, before the sold out program, before the recurring revenue, before the DMS of people, flocking to you to buy all the things every single day, you have to believe it before they do something. I always say to my clients is I must go first. And the same holds true for you. You must go first. If I believe they believe if I believe they boldly. And so you have to believe it before they do. And if you want people to see you as the best, you have to believe that you're the best before the external validation. If you want, I'm going to say it again. If you want people to see you as the best, you have to believe you're the best before all of the external validation. It's not somebody saying, oh, Michelle, you're the best that's going to make me all of a sudden be like, yeah, I'm the best because here's the thing. People can tell you that all damn day, every single day. But if you don't believe it at your core, if you don't know it in your being that you're so good at what you do, if you don't believe on the fucking best, I don't care how many times people tell you. It won't even matter. How many times people tell you your, the best you, if you don't believe it first, you're not going to believe it. When they tell you. And so all that external validation that we crave is ultimately not. What's going to have you feeling like an authority. It's not going to have you feeling like, oh my gosh, everything that I sell, everything that I do is the most no-brainer thing. You have to believe it before it all comes. I must go first. And I'm not sitting here saying that there's not going to be fear that comes up when you do things or when you put yourself out there, when you're completely yourself. I'm not saying that. But what I am saying is even through the fear, you have to believe it more, even when it's scary, even when it's uncertain, you have to believe no matter what, I'm the best or no matter what I know it's going to work out. My business is going to thrive. I believe. That has to come first, but if we're always waiting for the external validation, it's like literally waiting for rain in a drought, it doesn't come and it feels hard and the grass is dying. And that's what happens to us is we're constantly waiting for the external validation. And even when it does come, even when it does rain a little bit, it dries up again. Right. Do you see what that's a good analogy. Do you see where I'm getting at with that? The same happens for us is the external validation only lasts so long until we then get back in our mind and we create these stories, these uncomfortable stories of not enoughness waiting for the next, the next external validation to come our way to make us feel good in that moment. And then it starts to drift away and that's when business that's, when everything starts to feel really hot. What many of us do, and I've been guilty of this myself. That's why I'm talking to you about this because I know how just important this is in business, but also just having business feel easier, selling out programs, easier, standing out more like this is all correlated. I wouldn't have recorded a podcast on this. If this wasn't important for me to talk about with you, because me, me mastering this. Me having this own internal conversation with myself, me doing the work to get here is what has grown my business exponentially and the same holds true for you. But what many of us do is we wait until we have more to decide that we're good enough. We constantly seek external validation to move forward and to do the next thing. And this holds us back. So flipping mud. So much, I'm going to say that again, many of us wait until we have more to decide that we are good enough and we're constantly seeking external validation to move forward and to do the next thing. And this is what holds us back. I bet that I bet you felt that I bet you were like, oh, Michelle, you're speaking to my soul. Okay. As I've been here, I know it. When I have this, I'll be then good enough to do that. How many of us have said that before when I have this or when I do this, or when I achieve this, when I have X amount of clients, when I make X amount of money, then I'll be good enough to do this bull shit again, it's like waiting for rain in a drought. What are you waiting for? We give so much of our power away. That we forget that we hold the power. We already have it. You already are her already before all the money before all the clients, before the sold-out programs, before the recurring revenue, before we're paying bills with ease, whatever it might be, you already are. And as Gabby Bernstein says, if you don't, uh, if you're not a Gabby Bernstein fan. Totally. Okay. But like, I love her. So you might find that I reference her a lot. Um, but I love her. And what she has coined is this, this saying of the, when I have, and you can't see me, I'm doing air quotes, but the, when I haves and if we're living business in a way. That is constantly this cycle of when I have this, then I can do this when I have this. And I'll be good enough for constantly telling ourselves when I have this Corning that as the one I have, it's always going to feel. It's always going to feel hard. And I cannot tell you how many times I get told by clients, potential clients in the DMS all the time with people that just say that they want it to feel easier. They don't want it to feel so hard, but it feels hard because we're always waiting for the next thing. The next thing to be good enough. The next thing to validate us, it'll never come when we look at it this way. Literally, you will never feel good enough if you're always waiting on the next thing. And here's what will happen because I've been here whenever you hit that big goal, whatever it is, you're putting so much pressure on the 10 K month, the 20 K 50 K a month. Whenever you do hit it because you will, whenever you do make it happen and it happens. You know what will happen, you'll celebrate. And you'll be like, holy shit, balls. I'm so excited. I'm so grateful celebrating. And then immediately your brain will be like, well, what's next? Or I could have done this better or it should have been more. Or it took me six months to get here. It took people four months to get here. Or why did it take me so long? I could have made more by now. I'm happy, but this is great. But. Do you see that? So exhausting, it's so exciting. And it's this vicious cycle that we get ourselves in when we're constantly seeking extra external validation to be good enough when right now you're already good enough. I don't care how much you have or how much you don't have everything you desire. I promise you everything you desire is available. To you, however you want to word that it's available for you. I promise you that I need you to know that you can have it all, but it does start with you believing that you can believing before you can see it. Right. That saying always kind of like reminds me of like Disney world. I don't know, because I feel like Disney is like super magical. Right. But in business, in entrepreneurship, we have to believe before we can see things. Cause that is entrepreneurship. Like there's so much unpredictability. There are so many miracle moments. There's so many things that happen that we can't even explain. And naturally, you know, having come from nine to five, having come from corporate, having come from structured jobs, it's very predictable, but entrepreneurship is not. And you have to open yourself up to the unpredictability, to the possibility. But before it all happens while you're in it while you're craving it while you're going after, you have to believe that it's even possible for you and the 10 K months and 15 K months, dream clients reaching out to you all of the time to work with you. You have to believe that that's possible for you. If you believe it's hard, it's going to be hard. So it starts with you. It starts now, and it starts from today. It starts from today. That you recognize, and you realize that before all the things, because here's the thing I'm going to spoil spoiler alert, you're gonna reach all of your goals. And when you do, they'll always be a next thing. And this work that we're talking about, this inner work of believing, knowing that it's available for you, that it's going to happen for you. That you're worth it. That like it's all coming. That you're good enough now, before all the things. With every new level, it's recognizing this, every new income level that you desire, even myself right now, we're heading towards a new income level. And I even have to remind myself like, I'm, I'm good enough. This will happen. And I trust that it will. And I know that it will, and I'm already good enough with, or without it, but I know what's going to happen. So it starts with you. It starts now, and it starts from today. And I wanted to elaborate a little bit more on authority in the online space. I saw a post the other day, this actually what prompted this episode. I saw a post the other day and someone was saying, making and sharing money online doesn't make you an authority. And I agree, 1000%. Like, when I share my income online, it's not to position me as an authority. It's not to position myself as a leader, like money. Doesn't make me a leader. What I, when I do share that I share that because I want the women in my world, my followers, dream clients, people that look up to me that want to learn from me that come to my page, to like, get something for their day. I want them to know that if it's possible, for me, it's possible for them. Because I believe that wholeheartedly and like every fiber of my body, I'm not more special than anybody. I believe that whatever is possible for me as possible for you. Okay. I believe that I believe that. Right. And then, so that's why I share my income because it feels so good when I share it from that place because it's inspiring women. It's inspiring women to want to make a lot of money, become the breadwinner. Like it's a whole new day and age. That's why I share it, but here's the thing. It doesn't make me an authority. And I'm sharing this with you because I think many of us have it ingrained in our minds that if we're not making the money we desire yet, or quote, unquote, what is deemed a lot of money in the online space like, oh, people are obsessed with 10 K months. Like there's nothing wrong. I was obsessed with it to like $10,000, a lot of money. Like that's overflow for most people. Most people don't spend $10,000 a month in their expenses. That's a lot of money. It's like insane. In my corporate job, I was making I think 4,000 a month. Like that was like an average American salary. $10,000 is a lot of money and that's amazing. And I'm like, I'm here for all the money. All the monies, 20 K 30 K 50 K 80 K a hundred K. Let's do it. But I want to share with you that making money. Isn't what makes you an authority. It's not what makes you stand out online? By all means my business coaches, listening to me like share the money. Like I, anyone that wants to share how much money they mean like freaking share, like women owning how much money they make is so beautiful. It is so amazing. I want to see it. I want to hear it. I want to celebrate it, but it doesn't make you good enough. It doesn't make you bad enough. It doesn't make you any less than, or any more than somebody else. And I thought that that caption was really powerful when I read it, because I was like, that is just so true. And I wanted to just instill into you listening today, that wherever you are in business, however much money you're making, that's not what makes you an authority or not. That's not, what's going to make you stand out online or not, because I'm going to share with you very transparent. I ask my clients all the time. Why did you hire, why have you hired me? Literally. They never say because of how much money you want. Never literally, that's never what they say. They say, because you run a sustainable business, you have recurring revenue, you have a business that makes you feel safe. You have savings accounts, you bought a house like your business takes care of you. And that's what I'm here to teach women to do. That's, I'm positioning myself as the authority that I am in the niche that I'm in and women see me as that way. Yeah. They know I make money and that's amazing, but that's not why they hire me. It's so much greater than. And so the same holds true for you. I need you to know that wherever you are in business, you're already an authority. We just said this earlier on this episode, you're already good enough. And so I'm going to. Tough love you right here. And right now, no more. Well, I'm only making $5,000 a month or I'm only making a hundred dollars a month or I'm only making 10 K Michelle only. I only have two clients. I only have three clients. I only sold four spots. You're still good enough. You're still good enough right now to stand out online, to be taken serious, to have a dream clients coming to you, people flocking to you. Okay. I needed you to know that I had the say that because, so, and it's so easy and I've been guilty of this too. It is so easy to go online, go on social media and be like, I'm not good enough because X amount, this person's making X amount of money. And I'm gonna share with you guys, I wasn't going to share this, but this just came through me. So I'm gonna. Maybe about a year ago. Yeah, it was probably about a year ago. I don't remember exactly when that a year ago I had hit a milestone in my business. I think it was like we had made a hundred K and like four and a half months, a hundred K cash, which was like, holy shit, balls that so much money. I used to make a hundred thousand dollars in a year. Like I'm so grateful. Like I don't take any of this lightly. Please know that I am so. So grateful and like that, when that happened last year, it was like, I couldn't even believe it. And I was gonna put like a little story out about it and I was going to celebrate before I did that. I happened to hop on Instagram and I was watching social media stories. I was watching people's stories and I happened to see somebody posts that she, but it was by chance that same day she had seen how much money she made in that year. And she was at like 200 K for the year already, immediately. Immediately. I saw that and was like, oh, I'm not going to share mine because this isn't good enough. Like, look at where she's at. Like shit, like this doesn't even deserve to be shared. I'm why am I, why would I even put this out there publicly people are gonna see her story. And then they're going to see mine and be like, look at Michelle. She sucks. I literally did that. I never posted that story in that moment. Eventually I like celebrated and got over it. But in that moment, in that week, in that time period, I didn't share it when really I should have, because that was a huge deal. And that meant a lot. And that was so exciting. And I deserve to celebrate where I'm at and the same holds true for you wherever it is that you're at. But I'm sharing, I shared that story with you because it can be so easy to go online. And then all of a sudden put people on these pedestals and be like, well, what I was going to say was really good and I was really excited and then somebody else I saw did something different or did something that I quote unquote, deemed to be better than that. And now what I was going to say, isn't good enough bull fucking shit. Bullshit. I had to go through that lesson. I had to learn that lesson and feel through that in order to like, know that that was bullshit, but you, you get it. I bet. I bet. If you're listening to this, you've been there. I bet that you have, and I just need you to know every single thing that you have done. Every single thing that you're doing deserves to be celebrated, like celebrate it, scream it from the rooftop. Kay. And then one last thing I want to just new to you today, as far as authority, building authority, standing out online, becoming so known for what you do, who you are, dream clients reaching out to you. Let's talk about some styles of authority building content. And I'm going to go through this quickly. If you want more details on this. Um, I do cover all of this in great detail in one of my micro offers. It's a four week program visible all on attraction, marketing authority, building leadership. We dive into all the goods. So if you want to get inside of there, you can just message me on Instagram, or you can go to heart, to heart.co spelled just like the podcast you can get inside of there. With that, we ran that live in the spring. It's coming back, live in the fall. So you can actually buy the pre-record. Past version, and then you can bundle it with the upcoming live version. It's always new content. I always run it live, but you can also have it as a passive course because it just ran here in the spring. So needless to say, it's amazing. And we dive into what we're about to dive into even deeper. So for authoritative content, Some really good content that helps to build authority in the online space. Has people knowing what you do, knowing who you are, knowing what you stand for and like really remembering you, because ultimately we want people to remember us for our message. Like, I'll give you an example, women, that message me literally will say, I want to work with you because I know you can help me have a sustainable business and I can pay my bills. And I'm like, well, my contents working, I'm doing a pretty good job. If they're mimicking back to me, what I stand for, what I do and what my niche is. Right. So the same goes for. So authoritative styles of content. Number one is educational type of content. This can be done a couple of different ways. Something I like to speak on is educating on the problem that your dream client has. Most of the time, our dream clients might not realize that they're sitting in a problem. So we want to educate on the problem that they have. I'll give you an example, say you work with binge eaters. They might not identify as. Binge eaters. So maybe we can pop on our stories. Maybe we can put out some content on educating what binge eating is, what our tendencies have been. Jeters are you overeating at night? Are you hiding candy wrappers from your husband or from your partner? Are you finding yourself in the middle of the day, like blacking out and then all of a sudden looking at the counter, eating so much food that you audit, that you feel sick and it's like automatic guilt. This might be a sign that you have binge-eating tendencies. Do you see what I did there? Educated on the problem. Therefore, my dream client can realize like, oh, I never really classified myself as a binge eater, but I see what she's saying. I identify with. It doesn't always have to be like a labeled thing. I don't have any like labeled things in my own business, but you see what I'm talking about when I'm saying educating on the problem that you solve. That's really important because most people don't realize how much of a problem they're actually sitting in. Other, other styles of educational content are just that educational. Like maybe it's too many training. Maybe it's a tutorial. Maybe it's a real, that's like how to. I don't know, maybe you're a real guru and that's what you help people do is like grow with reels on Instagram. Maybe an educational piece of content is how to go viral with reels, right? Next authority type of content, story, connection, content stories, like people love story type of content. Share it guys. Almost every day. Something happens in your life that you can tell a story. That then connects back to your business, connects back to your offer, connects back to your dream client. It's really powerful. Tell more stories. People connect through stories through feelings, through emotion. Think about why we like books. Why we like movies. We love story type of content. It's real other types of content, inspirational content, client testimonials your own testimonial. How far you've come. Inspirational. Aspirational. What's possible. What's possible for them. What's been possible for you. They aspire to have what you have. Don't be afraid to share where you're at and own it. As I said earlier today, you're a big fucking deal right now own it. I want to know where you're at, speak to where you're at, speak to where you're at. And last thing is being so completely, completely yourself. I think this gets overlooked so much. Being an authority standing out online, the more yourself you can be, literally the more people will flock to you. I kid you not be weird. Dance have food in your teeth and mess up. If you were to look back at this podcast, how many times have I messed up and stumbled on my words? And I don't edit it because that's me in real life. I am, I am the girl next door. I sit on my couch. It's chill vibes. If it feels hard, I don't want to do it. Like I just like easy. I like real. I like down to earth conversations. I like girls nights. I like not wearing a bra. Real deal being so completely yourself in the online space. And I know that that can feel weird because it's like, oh, we have this notion of who we think we should be. Or we try to like emulate what other people are doing or who they're being. And we think we have to be like them in order to be successful. And it's like the biggest lie you could ever tell yourself, being completely yourself will literally position you as such an authority. And people will flock. Ooh, this was so good. I could go on forever on this topic and I could like dabble into leadership as well, but I'm going to leave you with this today. Last but not least give away is still happening. If you haven't subscribed to the podcast, go ahead and subscribe because it's only gonna get better, you know this, and if you haven't already. Leave a five-star review. It would mean the absolute absolute world. To me, if you did, I have such a big goal for this podcast to reach so many women business owners and with your help, with your reviews, with your subscriptions that allows this to grow. And as I keep saying, no review goes unnoticed. It literally means the world that you didn't. A minute, five minutes out of your day to leave a review on this podcast. And I thank you so very much. I love you so much and be sure to screenshot it to me, send to me on the social medias at Michelle Hartman. Your next Starbucks is on me. I love you so much. I'll see you in the next episode.
