Some key words that stood out or came out when it comes to the fool would be boastful, careless, arrogant.
Speaker AAlso a creative soul.
Speaker ASwagger and flamboyance, superficiality.
Speaker AHey, Rafiki.
Speaker ASomeone who takes pride and looking in the mirror.
Speaker BInteresting.
Speaker BBut wait, wait.
Speaker AWhy is that interesting, Rafiki?
Speaker BBecause it kind of goes with what my question that I wrote down for that area, which is, can you remember a situation where you.
Speaker BWhere you took a chance regardless of the advice others has given to you and has it paid off by doing it?
Speaker AYes, yes.
Speaker AI've been taking chances all my life, Rafiki.
Speaker AI could just start with the car wash.
Speaker AI could start.
Speaker AI could go with the music.
Speaker AI can go with the car wash. Hey, I can go with this damn podcast.
Speaker BThere you go.
Speaker AOkay.
Speaker AFor instance, the car wash.
Speaker AI wasn't.
Speaker AWhen it comes to my friends, in a group of my friends, I actually was the last one to come into the car wash arena.
Speaker AThey all were kind of doing it, working at different places, but they're washing cars.
Speaker AI came in, I started working with one of my friends at the place he was working at.
Speaker AI looked around, I was looking at the customers, and I was just like, hey, man, I bet that person over there would pay me 5 extra dollars to come to their house and wash their car.
Speaker AThey would rather.
Speaker AI was looking at their faces.
Speaker AI was like, they look like they would rather be somewhere else than here.
Speaker AAnd so that's what I did.
Speaker AI said, hey, I'll come to your house and wash your coffee for five extra dollars.
Speaker AAnd they paid off the other people.
Speaker AI asked the friends with me.
Speaker AI asked the friends, hey, let's, let's go in.
Speaker AYou want to partner up and start this?
Speaker ANone of them wanted to take that risk and jump off the cliff.
Speaker ABut then a couple of years down the line, every last one of those friends who I asked to partner up with me came and asked me for a job at one time or another.
Speaker BInteresting.
Speaker BWhat about you?
Speaker AHey, Rafiki, you can't win the lottery if you don't buy a ticket.
Speaker BTrue, true.
Speaker BYou gotta take chances.
Speaker BI agree with that 100%.
Speaker CYeah, absolutely.
Speaker CI guess for me, I, you know, I'm a fixed sign, so chain.
Speaker CSo, you know, change doesn't happen all too often for me.
Speaker CSo, you know, when I see the full card, it just makes me think of new beginnings and a fresh start, you know, for different, you know, reasons.
Speaker AThe question is, guardian, have you done something that everybody was telling you not to do and you went on and did it anyway?
Speaker CActually, yes.
Speaker CSo One time, my friend and I, I was actually in, in school when I was in college and I was actually picking up, you know, from Spirit and I kept telling her, I kept picking things up.
Speaker CShe told me not to go to that person.
Speaker CAnd I'm like, no, I have to go, I have to go.
Speaker CLike, this is really like affecting me.
Speaker CSo, you know, I.
Speaker CShe was like, don't do it.
Speaker CLike, you know, you know, you have to just stay cordial.
Speaker CAnd I was like, no, I'm going to go do it.
Speaker CSo what I did was I went up to my teacher and I gave her a full on reading, which she actually ended up benefiting from and she ended up getting emotional.
Speaker CSo in all out, like in all reality, like, it worked out for the, both myself and the teacher because she really needed to hear those messages.
Speaker ASo did that send you flying over the mountaintop or did that, did you fall to the bottom and hit the ground?
Speaker CI. I definitely felt good and I felt like, you know, listening to my intuition and, you know, just going with the flow kind of helped me.
Speaker CBut sometimes, you know, it can hinder you, so you got to be careful.
Speaker AHow about you, Rafiki?
Speaker BI feel that I've been spontaneous my whole life because I would get up and literally move location in the drop of a hat.
Speaker BLiterally just get up and just go.
Speaker BLeave everything behind and just relocate.
Speaker CYeah.
Speaker AWould you be walk.
Speaker AWould you walk down the street with all your belongings on a stick behind your back?
Speaker BBasically I had a couple of duffel bags, a backpack, and let's go on my adventure.
Speaker BI go where I end up.
Speaker ADid you have a little, did you have a little white dog following you?
Speaker BNo, I didn't have a little white dog following me.
Speaker BBut the fool, the fool I've been at my whole life as far as, you know, being spontaneous and doing things kind of reckless, you know.
Speaker ANow here's the question.
Speaker ADid that move send you hitting to hitting the bottom of the rocks or did you fly over the cliff?
Speaker BSometimes I hit bottom and sometimes I rose.
Speaker BRose up on the occasion.
Speaker AAll right.
Speaker BBut the thing about it is I took the chances.
Speaker ATell me, tell me one of them times that you did that and you hit bottom.
Speaker BFrom the time I got on the bus, took a chance, went down to my uncle's down in Virginia and tried to stay down there for a little while and it backfired on me and I had to relocate again and got there, it kind of backfired on me again and I was kind of on the street for a little while.
Speaker AHey, would Would you say relocating is new beginnings?
Speaker BMost definitely.
Speaker AAll right.
