Welcome back to another episode of health hacks as I continue sharing lessons learned and relearned in 2024 and one of these is knowing your why, and this is something that you you need to feel so deeply in your body that it literally brings up emotion for you, good, happy, positive emotions, which can show in tears as well when you share your why with other people. And when you are that connected to your why, everything else that you need will start to fall in place. However, too often people might have an idea where they want to move forward. However, they're not starting with the why. They go straight into the how, and they get into the the nitty gritty, and they wonder why. It's not coming together with ease and grace. We have to have the why first, because it's your North Star, and it's what gives your actions meaning. It keeps you motivated when the journey is difficult and without it, the How can feel overwhelming and too soon we give up when we start with the how. We also want to know the why, because it's giving us clarity. And then from that place, we can step in to the steps of the how and understanding the tools and the strategy and the why also gives us fuel for resilience to keep going. It keeps you grounded and focused so that you do keep going. Because let's face it, the journey isn't always easy, and you can come up against roadblocks. And if you don't have a deep enough why that brings up emotion, then it can be too easy to just say, forget it. It wasn't meant to be, and give up. When you know your why, and you know the depths of it, you don't give up. You realize that the obstacle is the way, and you've hit that obstacle by the way. That is a great book. The obstacle is the way. You hit that obstacle. So that again, you can ask why? To get the answers to whether Do I go left or do I go right at this point and keep going. So in coming to your why, it's always really great to actually to you want to go deep. So you might ask, okay, what is my why, my big why in life? Why is it that I want to do this? And then when you have that why? And keep going seven layers deep, if you can, to get to the biggest why possible. Because when you get to that biggest why possible, you will carry that in your heart, in your soul, in your gut. And as I said earlier, it is your North Star. It will keep you moving forward even when the times are tough. So as we start out 2025 here, what is your why do you know what it is? And if not, ask yourself that question with a journal, sit with it and ask it seven times, go deeper and deeper. And this is something that you can use for in big areas of your life or small areas of your life. When I take people through my detox program, detox isn't fun. Detoxing isn't fun. It isn't easy. However, I make it as easy as possible for my clients by setting them up for success. And I ask them, Why? Why are you doing this? And when they get that answer, I ask them, why is that important to you, and when they get that answer, why? So that we can get them to a place where that why is so deep and so big that there's no way they're giving up on their detox. So you can use this for, you know, small decisions in your life, like doing a detox, which really is a big decision, because it's so profound for your health in a positive way, and your health is everything, or you can use it for big decisions. Why am I here on this earth? What is my mission? What is my purpose, and why? So enjoy the process, embrace it, and I would love you to come back and share in the comments. What is your why?
