Welcome to Love Notes. Miranda. I want to read two poems to you. And I want you to take these poems into your heart and make them real for you. This year, claim them as your own. The first one I want to read is by our beautiful Rumi, and it is called the Guest House. This being human is a guest house Every morning a new arrival, a joy, depression, a meanness. Some momentary awareness comes as an unexpected visitor welcome and entertain them all, even if they are a crowd of sorrows who violently sweep your house empty of its furniture. Still treat each guest honorably. He may be clearing you out for some new delight. The dark thought, the shame, the malice. Meet them at the door laughing and invite them in. Be grateful for whatever comes because each has been sent as a guide from above. This being human is a guest house Every morning a new arrival, a joy, a depression, a meanness. Let's take a nice deep breath together and breathe in the level of acceptance living the roomy poem would make and take. Breathe in the love and the self love that would transpire if you committed to living the Guest house. Breathe in that level of acceptance and self love that would transpire for you in each moment of your life. If you no longer turned away from feelings but turned towards them. Imagine what's possible. Think about that now. Imagine what's possible. If you're like me, you may have run away from feelings in your life. Now it's time to live with them, to embrace them and allow them to move through you. We have something called the four A's and part of the four as is allowing the feelings to move through you, seeing them for what they are, learning from them, appreciating them, respecting them. Think about what your life would look like if you really did. Think of every feeling as a guest in your home called your body and you allowed it to work its magic. Just imagine now, I promised you a second poem. And this second poem is also by Rumi. It's called Rumi Pay Homage. If God said Rumi, pay homage to everything that has helped you enter my arms, there would not be one experience of my life, not one thought, not one feeling, not any act I would not bow down to. If God said, rumi, pay homage to everything that has helped you enter my arms, there would not be one experience of my life, not one thought, not one feeling, not any act I would not bow to. It's a new day, a new beginning. And imagine that level of gratitude, the level of acceptance, a level of connection to yourself that would transpire if you truly were able to bow to every thought, every feeling, every moment of your life. Well, that, my friend, is where we're going. This is the opportunity. The commitment to fearless living. The commitment to creating a more fearless you. A commitment to seeing feelings for what they are, thoughts for what they are, actions for what they are, and seeing them in the wholeness of life itself. Living as you. Through you. There's so much work to do and so much fun to be had. Breathe it in. And say yes and more. Yes. Yeah. Say yes and more. Yes. Yes. And more. Yes. Yes. And more. Yes. Yes, yes. Yes. And so it is. Until next time. Be fearless. I love you.
