Build your driving confidence whether you are just starting out as a learner or have had your driving license for years. If you want to transform how you feel about driving this podcast is for you. Welcome back to step five. And today we're going to start doing some preparation. And we'll be looking at how you can keep track of your progress. And notice how far you've come and what you still need to do. So at the moment, we're still not asking you to drive. We're still getting you to think about things. We're still asking you to write things down. So we want you to go back to that small goal. And think about what preparation. Do you need to do. In order to work towards that first small goal. look at How you laid out those different elements of what was easy, what was challenging and what was really worrying you. And also look at yesterday's one of what was in the gap. What did you need to find out? What did you need to learn more about? Where did you need to get some help from, to fill in that gap? So now is the time to. Start doing some of that preparation. And also to start imagining yourself. Driving on that first small driving goal. Now, this might be when you're doing the preparation and when you were imagining it. This might be when some of those negative thoughts. Feelings and emotions start cropping up. Now we want you to write these down as well, because this is really important. It's those thoughts and those emotions that are holding you back. So get them written down. So questions today, following on from what Tracy just said. Uh, how will you track your progress? Who will you tell that we'll be able to help you in reaching your goal? And. One of my favorite questions. If there were no barriers to you driving again. What would you be doing? So, again, like we said in yesterday, step. Really take some time. To think about this properly, treat it like a project. Use a pen and paper, write it down. So that you're using those different parts of your brain. Yeah. Even draw pictures. If you need to. That works for some people. So again, As long as it's written down in your way, that makes sense to you. Fantastic.
