00:00:00,458 --> 00:00:03,208
Is host of User Friendly 2.0 Saturdays

2
00:00:03,208 --> 00:00:06,250
here on The Answer
with this week's Tech Wednesday.

3
00:00:06,541 --> 00:00:10,083
This week we take a look at modern
technology that used to be Sci-Fi.

4
00:00:10,125 --> 00:00:13,666
We're going to be looking into
the new developments that Ukraine

5
00:00:13,666 --> 00:00:17,416
is using in drones
and other front line technology.

6
00:00:17,500 --> 00:00:20,125
Robotics
and other things are taking their hold.

7
00:00:20,125 --> 00:00:23,875
And what, just even ten years ago
was something that we would see on a movie

8
00:00:23,875 --> 00:00:26,208
is now
something we're seeing in real life.

9
00:00:26,208 --> 00:00:30,250
These technologies are saving lives
and making a lot of different things

10
00:00:30,291 --> 00:00:33,875
a lot easier to deal with in a way
that is somewhat

11
00:00:33,916 --> 00:00:37,041
unexpected and,
if nothing else, very creative.

12
00:00:37,125 --> 00:00:38,875
This week on User Friendly 2.0,

13
00:00:38,875 --> 00:00:40,916
we're going to have a guest on
that is going to be telling us

14
00:00:40,916 --> 00:00:44,166
about some of these new developments,
what's involved in them,

15
00:00:44,166 --> 00:00:47,750
what it's taken to make them
and how they are being deployed,

16
00:00:47,750 --> 00:00:51,666
and how a lot of this technology
can be used outside of war

17
00:00:51,833 --> 00:00:55,708
in civilian use to improve everybody's
quality of life.
