Speaker:The late great Kobe Bryant, who is also an avatina player by the way, was known for doing
Speaker:the most basic drills.
Speaker:In fact, a reporter wants to ask him, “Kobe, you're the best player in the world.
Speaker:Why do you do the most basic drills?"
Speaker:And Kobe responded, "Why do you think I'm the best player in the world?
Speaker:The best never get bored with the basics."
Speaker:So when you're out there this summer, playing tennis, ralling with a friend, think about
Speaker:that and find fun in the fundamental of just hitting the ball back and forth.
Speaker:The simple activity and being really good at it is so vital to your development in our
Speaker:sport.
Speaker:You have to enjoy it.
Speaker:Go out there and enjoy the most basic aspect of our sport, simply rallying the ball back
Speaker:and forth and see how really good you can become at that basic.
