Hello Podcast fam. I'm so excited to be back. This is my first episode recording after our wedding. We're married and this is just gonna be a life and business update. I've got so much to share with you. I'm not really sure where this episode's gonna go, but I trust you guys know when I hit record I trust whatever's meant to come outta my mouth will come out of my mouth and this is going to serve you greatly. Um, cuz I've got so much going on, so much good stuff. Um, and I can't wait to dive in. So first and foremost, Kahn, that's my husband's name, which is so weird to say. Husband. And getting used to it. And I just love it. I love being a wife. I love having a husband. I love wedding days. Uh, honestly, one thing I will share about our wedding day, those of you that may be in the planning process or engaged or one day hoping to be engaged in planning a wedding, here's what I will say is like the best advice I can give. Do not listen to anyone else but yourself. On the day of my wedding, my youngest sister was like, Michelle, you're so calm. Like, you're so chill. And honestly, that's really on brand for me. That's like a big part of my personality. Um, I'm never like the loudest one in the room. I don't like chaos. I don't like drama. Like if I can avoid. Like I will purposefully go the other way and like, I really like things to just be calm and chill. And what's so interesting is people mimic your energy. And so like my bridesmaids were chill, my family was chill, um, and it was just like the most perfect day. But a lot of what attributed to me feeling so calm on our wedding day was I didn't listen to anybody else. Literally, the day was, if you looked at my Pinterest boards, it was like that dream came to life. It was perfection. I have zero complaints outside of it rained so much, but I planned an indoor wedding. Because I don't trust the weather So we were good. It was perfect, and I wouldn't change a thing. And so those of you out there, I just wanna reflect that to you and with a little business tangent on that. The same thing really applies to business. Something I was just talking about with one of my mentors recently is she said, Do you know Michelle? She's, We've been together maybe like eight, no, not even eight months. Six months now. Yeah. I thought it was eight months, but six months now. And the one thing she said to me, you know, Michelle, from our time when we first started, to now like, I just feel like you're so grounded. Like I could just feel it. I can see it. You're so coming into your own and something I've been doing. Over, especially the last six months of this year, really the beginning of this year, but I would say even more so being very intentional about this these last six months, is I don't know what other people are doing in my industry. Even my bus besties, I don't watch their stories. And I just realized that for me to find my voice, my truth, What I stand for and like bring that to life and have it be so unique to me and different and like have my curriculum and the way in which I teach be so different and so effective. I've gotta silence what's happening around me, and I've gotta not look for opinions of others. I've gotta not see the opinions of others. I've gotta not absorb the opinions of others. And things have just shifted massively in the business. And literally, I was just saying to one of my best friends, like, we're in the cusp. Like we are blowing up right now. Everything that we're selling right now, as you guys know, everything that sells, everything, that's my trademark. That is like a big part of my brand and some, like a big part of my intellectual property that we teach. That's a big strategy that we teach. But the thing is, for me, like things are just selling wildly and I, I do believe that a big part of. is, it's so mine and my clients are experiencing it. Women that first get into my world are experiencing it. New people that find me and consume my podcast or my content, they're experiencing it. It's a feeling, it's a knowing. It's a, I haven't heard this before. I haven't seen this taught this way. and it's just, it's, it's catapulting. And I wanted to reflect that to you because with my wedding being like the best day of my life, this one thing, I keep saying that everyone is like, I wanna get married every day. Like, I, I just had so much fun I had, so it was the best day ever. But I believe that it was because it was, it was so true to me. It was so true to con. It was, it was our day and we didn't listen to anybody. Even when I got unsolicited advice and opinions, I just didn't take it. It literally went in one ear and out the other. And I just like, I love, I've got three amazing sisters. I had the best bridesmaids and like, I just didn't ask people's opinions. I just didn't. I just, I did what we wanted to do and maybe it helped. We paid for the wedding. Um, and so maybe that was part of it. No one else had a hand in the financials that like we also really felt this freedom to like make it so our own, which made it really perfect. But on the business side of that, things will shift when you, like blinders on, get in your own lane. I know that you've heard that before, but are you actually doing it? Are you actually doing it? Something to think about. Something to think about. Now, with this in this time, some things you might have missed, some life and business updates. The week of my wedding, Monday before my wedding, so we got married on a Sunday. Um, and that actually wasn't by choice. So I, I don't know if you guys know this. I think I did. Yeah, you do know this. I put words hard, I, we had moved our wedding. We were originally supposed to get married March 25th, 2022, and my mom's cancer had come back and my dad's got heart stuff. Um, and he was in and out of the hospital. So we just, just wasn't like the right time to be planning for a wedding. So we had pushed it out about six months and when we were looking at October, the only dates opened were Sundays, so we wouldn't have originally chose a Sunday. Neither here nor there. It was. The Monday before our wedding, so about seven days out, Con my husband, now husband was on his way to the Giants game, we're giant season ticket holders. He's on his way to the game. He was going with his cousin. It was an APM game, and I'm like, I'm a grandma. I'm like, You're not gonna catch me in a football game at 8:00 PM It's just not gonna happen. I was in bed, he's on his way to the game. It's like 5:00 PM and I just happen to open my email and I get an email saying, Thanks Michelle so much for your stay in San Francisco. And I'm like, Okay. Well we were at a wedding last night. We had a wedding the week before our wedding. We had a wedding last night in New Jersey where we. and I'm like standing in my kitchen in New Jersey. I did not just check out of a San Francisco hotel. Sure enough, I call this hotel and I'm like, Ma'am, I did not just check out. She goes, Michelle, I just saw you. And I was like, Like I swear on my life, that is not me. We're getting married in a week. Like I just need to know, like obviously I know she had a credit card with my name, but did she have a driver's license? Sure enough she did. So identity was stole. I'm sharing this with you. One to just like let you know that this can happen. Not to scare you, but I was like 111% sure that like, this would never happen to me. I don't know why I was sure of that. I don't know why. Um, but it did happen to me. And if it can happen to me, it can happen to you. And so here's what I wanna share with this because I got so many dms about this. Instagram is, just protect yourself, change your passwords frequently. Don't make all your passwords the same. Um, and something that we had set up, I had actually set this up through Experian, through one of the credit unions. Um, but you can do this through like identity guard and um, other websites. If you just Google like identity protection, I pay now 20 bucks a. And what happens is in those websites you can enter, like your driver's license, your passport number, your um, your email addresses, like all the things that are linked to you are like your identity. Um, they're scanning the dark web for that 24 7. So now at this point, like. I'm uber protected. My credit currently, cuz it just happened, is currently still turned off so that even if anyone were to apply for anything, they would be, um, denied. But in this time, you know, when that happened, at first I had like my meltdown. I had like my freak out, like, oh my gosh, we're getting married in just a couple of days. But on the other side of that, what was so ironic? I had paid all of our wedding vendors early, and most people don't do that. Most vendors expect payments. Some expect it like the day of, some expect it like seven days out. But for me, like I'm a, I'm a planner, like in the sense of not so much in the business, guess and no, and that's maybe an episode for another day. In like my life when it comes to finances and stuff, like if I know it's coming, I would rather just pay it off sooner. And so as we were getting closer to the wedding, my sister was flying outta town. They were staying with us for a couple days. I had a lot of stuff to do for the rehearsal dinner. It was just like, I just didn't wanna think about it. So a week two, week two to one weeks before the wedding, I was reaching out to every vendor and I'm like, Hey, can I pay you early? Hey, can I pay you early? Hey, can I pay you early? And every vendor. Yes. Like weird, but yes you can. And the silver lining of my identity getting stolen cuz all my credit cards and everything had to be turned off. Everything was already paid for and that was really freeing. And of course my husband was like, Michelle, obviously we'll just put everything on my cards. It's not a big deal. Um, worst case scenario, you know what I mean? But I mean, it all worked out and I learned a lot of lessons about identity theft and I feel really protected now. And I just know that this. Ever happened to me again. Um, and I learned this at a young age. And so those are some of the big things that have happened in my time since re pre-recording all my episodes. And now we're kind of rec recording back in live time. Now, what else has happened in this time is this October. We're in the final quarter of the year and I literally just cannot believe it, Can you? I can't believe it. Um, and I'm not gonna be on here and be like, What are you gonna do for the rest of the gears? Time to get your numbers in hustle bustle. I'm like, That's just not my vibe. We're not gonna do that, we're not gonna do that. Um, I'm not gonna make you feel about, feel shitty about where you're at right now, if your business isn't where you thought it would be at this point of the year. I'm not gonna make you feel like you need to do all these things to like hit a certain number by the end of the year. I just think that that is all such unnecessary press pressure, and especially for me where, um, simplicity and like my nervous system being regulated consistently and having a chill. Business and things really working in a chill, effective way. Like that's just not my vibe. And so with this, uh, one of my mentors, we were talking about 2023 and just some things we've got, and I've, you know, throughout the wedding, throughout everything that we've experienced this last year with Khan's brother passing con, then needing trouble bypass open heart surgery. Both my parents and their health con parents moving down by us. Um, planning and having a wedding, my identity getting stolen. It's been, it's been a year, you know, when I, a lot of personal things have gone on. outside of the business this year and next year. You know, a big goal for us is to start a family, and we're hoping, um, that that will be an easy process for us. We're hoping that, you know, we won't have to go the IVF route. Um, and if we do, we will. You know, my sister has two beautiful twins from ivf and we're open to all the possibilities. Um, but we are hoping, and we're hopeful that that will be a beautiful process for us. But with that said, My mentor had said, Michelle, let's think about 2023, and like, what do you want 2023 to be? And the only thing that kept coming to me was the word simple, and I literally wrote it down in capital letters. I was like, Simple. Which wasn't shocking because simple is my vibe. Chill is my vibe every single day. The question I ask myself in business and in life is, How can I make this simple? Even with all the strategies and all the things that I teach, the reason that they're so effective, and the reason my clients get such good results is because we're not doing things that aren't necessary, and we're constantly looking at how can we make this simpler? How can we make this more unique to you? How can we make this work more in your favor? Versus looking at what are all the things I could do and like try and do this and try and replicate this and do this cuz this person did this. Like it's just, that's just not my vibe and that's not what we do in my world. And the results my clients are seeing right now, especially in one to one, My mastermind and um, Money Mastery, which will give you an update on that program here in a moment. And I'll let you know the changes that are coming. My clients are just like, the results are literally. I'm like, I, I can't even put them into words because my clients are moving so fast and it's a product of the way in which we're teaching the curriculum that I'm building that is so unique and true to me. It's all my intellectual property based on this, this simple, this simple aspect and um, really doing things in a different way when it comes to. So 2023 is the year of simple. Even though 2022 was like, I feel like 2022 for me was like simple. And then 2023 is like simpler, if that makes sense. So you guys are really gonna see some changes from me and the business and some really cool things happening. And so just some updates on what's coming and what you can expect, we put. Two posts now, and I put out one really recently, just this past week prior to recording that we're retiring some big stuff inside of the business. And honestly, I'm really excited about it. And this is your permission to just like. do what you wanna do in your business. It all gets to work. Honestly, I have clients, they all have different business models, all of them, and like it all gets to work. So for me, what we're doing, we're actually taking money Mastery, uh, programs not really going anywhere. People can buy that curriculum passively, but the way that that program is structured is actually shifting and we're changing things to have a program. that will literally teach you everything, sells everything. Marketing and messaging at the deepest level. So you can post with one slide and things sell out. So you can have things be simple so you can go on maternity leave so that you don't have to be on all the time. If people still reach out and say, Hey, can I still buy this thing? Hey, can I buy this? Hey, gimme the details. Selling out without launching, simplifying your. And you guys know my vibe doing less and making more, doing more of the right things and making more. We, we are running no questions asked right now, which is, um, mainly the marketing aspect of this. And when I made that post that I was retiring, I was very honest, and I'm gonna share this with you right now. That's the last micro offer that you'll see. I'm not gonna say ever, but for right now and for quite some time because the, what we're teaching and what we're building into, what's. that's the stuff that I pour into my highest level, one to one clients, my mastermind clients. And that now is going to become a household signature offer that's going to allow you to do this inside of your business. It will be a huge transformation for this industry. And we're in the process of building it out. And I can't wait because this is a program, you know, I wish I had. Um, but to be honest, I, I had to go through all of this. I had. I had to not launch. I had to choose to not launch and like figure out another way to sell out offers without launching in order to be able to teach it to you, right? I had to constantly ask every single day, How can I make this simpler to actually make things simpler to then teach that to you? I had to test a lot of different marketing and a lot of different messaging and a lot of different method. in order to master that and then teach that to you. And we're finally in the place where we're going to be able to to do that for you. And I'm so excited. And so those are the updates. That's what this episode is, just the updates where you get to see behind the scenes of life and biz. We have something really cool coming in November where you have a free master class that's gonna be released. You're the first to know. it's gonna change your life. It's gonna be so good. I'm not participating in Black Friday cause be. To be honest, I just don't like selling the day after Thanksgiving and I just don't. I just realized after the last five years of participating in Black Friday, I just don't like it. I have nothing against selling on Black Friday. I just put a post out on this that I'm not selling on Black Friday. And I wanna be very clear. If you sell on Black Friday, I love you and like go for it. I need you to know that my stance on people selling on Black Friday is neutral. I will be shopping at all my favorite clothing stores and buying and spending money. I love Black Friday in that aspect. I love that my clients sell on Black Friday and make so much money. I help them plan, I help them do this, but for me, I just don't enjoy it. So I'm not gonna do. but it also doesn't mean my business isn't gonna make the most money that it can in November. Will this time of year my business always makes the most money. I do not worry around the holidays cuz my business makes so much money this time of year, October, right now I got married this month, I took so much time off of work and this based on where we're at most likely be our highest cash month of the year. Yeah. I wanna like reflect that to you. What we're doing is working ex exponentially. And we're gonna bring that to you. So that's the vibe. Those are some things you can see and forecast, I would say, and I would advise to pay attention. Pay attention. I love you. And remember this, Everything sells everything, and I'll see you soon in the next episode.
