Melissa Deally:the movie that is running in your mind and food. Have you
Melissa Deally:ever noticed that the urge to snack or eat more happens when
Melissa Deally:you're experiencing more powerful emotions that perhaps
Melissa Deally:you don't even want to feel, and so you numb out. It isn't even
Melissa Deally:about hunger at all. It's about escape and using food as a
Melissa Deally:mechanism for escape. It is a fast and yet temporary fix. And
Melissa Deally:let's face it, when you get to the bottom of the ice cream tub
Melissa Deally:or the box of brownies, do you feel better? No, unfortunately,
Melissa Deally:you don't. And so the next time that you notice that desire to
Melissa Deally:reach for food, stop and check what movie Am I playing in my
Melissa Deally:mind right now? Is it the horror show? Is it the love story? If
Melissa Deally:it's the horror show, you're going to want to clear the
