Marli Williams [00:41:10]:

Right here, right now. Right here, right now. And I love that because it's like this stuff doesn't have to be hard. We don't have to, like, grit our way through it. It's like we can have fun along the way. Right? And again, the point of life isn't to get to the end as fast as possible. Yes. It's to enjoy the freaking ride.

Marli Williams [00:41:29]:

Right? And the same thing with, like, this mountain, this vision that you have for your future. It's not to get there as fast as possible, but how much can we enjoy that journey of who do I get to become along the way? Who do I get to meet along the way? What are the experiences that I get to have? And, you know, it's like, I love that quote from A League of Their Own. It's like, it's not. It's the hard that makes it great, and it's doesn't mean that it's always gonna be easy. But it's like, there is energy, there is intention, there is effort, and we can still have fun. Yes. Right? It's not mutually exclusive.

Mary Lou Rodriguez [00:42:06]:

Yeah. No. It's so good. And I just wanna share this one last point of because when we feel whole and complete, and this also is a practice, but I judge myself constantly. You know, I was doing this. I was judging that. I was judging everything. And I didn't even know I was judging because it was so a part of how I thought.

Mary Lou Rodriguez [00:42:24]:

And so when you work from this energy of feeling whole and complete now, you're not judging yourself for messing up. I mean, you might like for a moment and then come back to this. I mean, I'm sharing my experiences. You know, it's like I am not hard on myself in the ways that I was. Even when I'm going through tough times, I know it's a part of the process and the growth. And so I don't have to shame myself or be mad at myself or be angry with myself and judge myself for being human. Mhmm. You know what? I love myself.

Mary Lou Rodriguez [00:42:52]:

I love all the parts of me. Mhmm. So that's what's important to me, working from the energy of whole and complete. I love all of Mary Lou. I love alcoholic Mary Lou. I love the Mary Lou before that. I love all the parts of me. I'm not judging myself anymore, and that's what happens when you work from that energy.

Marli Williams [00:43:09]:

And as a recovering perfectionist and people pleaser, that self judgment can be so damaging. I'm not doing enough. It's not enough followers. It's not enough money that, like, I didn't do. I messed up. And so that harsh inner critic versus that cultivating that wholeness and that love of like, who do I wanna be and how do I wanna show up from that place of loving myself fully, wholly, and completely right here, right now? What a gift. So I'm curious as we wrap up our conversation for today, 2 final questions for you. Is there any final thoughts that you would like to leave people with? And, of course, where can people find you, learn more about you, dive into your work and your world?

Mary Lou Rodriguez [00:43:57]:

Yeah. Yeah. I want to leave people with this. I want people and I know I started off with this, but I want people to know that no matter their circumstances, no matter their stories, no matter their upbringing, no matter their traumas, no matter their addictions, no matter their poverty, no matter, like, how they were raised, like, no matter what. I want people to know that they can live their best effing.

Marli Williams [00:44:20]:

You are such a stand for that and a model for people that they can have that. And they that again, it's like, I think our hope is to give people permission today that, yeah, you can live your best freaking life. You can be unstoppable. You can make how much you wanna make. You can travel where you wanna go. You can do these things. And we provided a beautiful kind of roadmap and framework for some questions to ask yourself and some things to walk through to help people really, yeah, I think get clear on what it is that you really freaking want and know that you deserve it. And you are worthy right here right now just as you are.

Mary Lou Rodriguez [00:44:58]:

Yes. Just as we are. Yes. That's what I wanna leave people with.

Marli Williams [00:45:01]:

Yes. Yeah. I love that. I love that.
