Speaker A

Maybe no one ever told you to stop making art.

Speaker A

They just told you to be realistic, to choose something stable, to be responsible, to keep creativity on the side.

Speaker A

And so you did.

Speaker A

You built a career, you showed up for your family.

Speaker A

You have filled your life with responsibility.

Speaker A

And still, something never quite went away.

Speaker A

Foreign.

Speaker A

This is Timothy Keem o', Brien, your head instigator for Create Art Podcast, where I take my 30 years of experience in the arts and education and help you tame your inner critic and create more than you consume.

Speaker A

So I'm starting a new series and I'm calling it Create Anyway.

Speaker A

You're allowed to make art, and this is a series for people who chose responsibility and still want something more.

Speaker A

Not more hustle, not a traumatic life overhaul, just permission.

Speaker A

Permission to create in small moments.

Speaker A

Permission to start again without starting over, and permission to make art without needing it to justify itself.

Speaker A

You're not late, you're not broken.

Speaker A

And you weren't wrong to want this.

Speaker A

If art keeps calling you, even quietly, this series is going to be for you.

Speaker A

Create anyways.

Speaker A

You're allowed to create art now.

Speaker A

This is a.

Speaker A

This is going to be a series for adults who want to make art but feel, hey, maybe it's too late or they're too busy.

Speaker A

It's for those that were told they're not artists or can't make a living by creating art.

Speaker A

And that's why Create Art Podcast was initially started up many years ago, because I was working with people that were going through art therapy to help them transition from life in the military to civilian life.

Speaker A

And I had a bunch of those people tell me that, you know, they were told that they, they couldn't make a living by doing art.

Speaker A

And I thought, no, you can make a living doing art.

Speaker A

You can do things.

Speaker A

And some of them did.

Speaker A

And I think that is fantastic.

Speaker A

Maybe you're a professional or a parent and you're craving meaning, but not the hustle.

Speaker A

Or if you're just anybody who feels creativity relentlessly but you don't want to blow up your life.

Speaker A

This is going to be 15 episodes, and again, I'm calling it Create Anyway.

Speaker A

And it's going to explore the emotional, psychological and practical struggles new and returning artists face, especially those after creating responsibility, not before it.

Speaker A

So I can't wait to get this series started up for you here.

Speaker A

You'll get started up in mid March of 2026.

Speaker A

Now, if you've heard my other series, this one is going to be a little bit new.

Speaker A

This one's going to be directed at you who thinks I'm too busy, or who thinks I can't make a living at this, or who thinks I have too many responsibilities.

Speaker A

I just don't have time for this.

Speaker A

You have time, and I'm going to show you how.

Speaker A

And I can't wait to get started to do this for you.

Speaker A

That's right, I'm talking to you.

Speaker A

You're the one listening to this podcast, or you're watching it on YouTube.

Speaker A

And I want to let you know you have permission to be creative.

Speaker A

If you're waiting for permission, you have it.

Speaker A

And I'm going to show you how to do it again.

Speaker A

Can't wait to get started.

Speaker A

Or create anyways, because you are allowed to make art.

Speaker A

Sam.
