If we're not chasing happiness, we
Speaker:won't ever achieve it. I was already very happy, but
Speaker:I just needed more of that, and I needed to be having
Speaker:that every day, a continuous flow of happiness, and that
Speaker:can come from... Just try to find a
Speaker:couple of things that you can be thankful for, that you
Speaker:can be grateful for. You can just say, I am happy, even
Speaker:if you don't feel it, because the more we put out, the more that
Speaker:we will get back in return. People have so
Speaker:much amazing things in their life to make them happy. So
Speaker:I just want to encourage you to take a moment and have a look around
Speaker:your life, your environment, what you've created for
Speaker:yourself and ask yourself. Welcome to
Speaker:Krystal Rowe Impacts, a space dedicated to empowering
Speaker:you to be the change that your bloodline has been waiting for. Join
Speaker:me and together, let's inspire change. Welcome
Speaker:back to the Krystal Rowe Impact podcast. And
Speaker:today we are going to talk about life. And
Speaker:I'm going to be sharing with you how crazy
Speaker:life can get and how important it is to
Speaker:keep our mind set on the end goal and
Speaker:the vision and the importance of
Speaker:where we want to go. For me, over,
Speaker:I don't know, the last couple of months, it
Speaker:has been really, really challenging and it's
Speaker:been a crazy time and it's life.
Speaker:And I guess I want to share with you how important
Speaker:it is to have a vision and to know
Speaker:where your destination is, because I know that
Speaker:a lot of the time when I was lost,
Speaker:I just didn't know what direction to go because I didn't have
Speaker:an end goal in place or I didn't have an end destination
Speaker:and my vision wasn't clear. And so it
Speaker:was really easy to get distracted or to
Speaker:lose focus. And when life happened, it was so
Speaker:easy for me to become consumed in the
Speaker:events that I just lost vision so
Speaker:quickly and I lost focus. Just before
Speaker:this shoot, I became not unclear, but
Speaker:I had to process a lot of my
Speaker:own internal thoughts and remember
Speaker:where I was going and where I
Speaker:wanted to, or who I wanted to become. Because
Speaker:life was throwing us so much different things in
Speaker:business, in our family, in our extended family.
Speaker:And both my husband and I had to go
Speaker:back to New Zealand and deal with some really
Speaker:sad things and It affected me
Speaker:and it made me realise what is important in life
Speaker:and what I wanted. So
Speaker:after coming back from New Zealand, I realised that
Speaker:my heart had just been changed a little bit. And
Speaker:like I said, it's really easy to get lost in the emotion
Speaker:and the heartache. And a
Speaker:lot of people, I feel, can get consumed.
Speaker:And I almost did within my, not
Speaker:so much my sadness, but my passion
Speaker:for happiness, my
Speaker:desire for happiness and trying
Speaker:to connect my vision with
Speaker:my heart again and it's really crazy how
Speaker:you can be consumed with life. My biggest lesson
Speaker:from All of the emotions that I
Speaker:experienced while I was in New Zealand was connection
Speaker:and not changing who
Speaker:you are because life throws you
Speaker:a whole lot of shit. I don't know if I'm the only
Speaker:one. I'm sure I can't be the only one that is
Speaker:at this stage of my life where everything is
Speaker:going on and you're trying to reach
Speaker:those goals and push for
Speaker:that vision and achieve the things that you need
Speaker:to achieve to get to the next step. And then life
Speaker:happens and you're just like, wow. For
Speaker:me, when I went back to New Zealand and I realised that I
Speaker:didn't take all the opportunities that I should have to
Speaker:connect with my family and my grandparents. I realized
Speaker:the importance of showing people
Speaker:who you truly are and not
Speaker:allowing your past or your
Speaker:pain or what you think
Speaker:people think of you to dictate
Speaker:how you show up. And
Speaker:what I learnt most is
Speaker:that connection and
Speaker:happiness are the most important things for me
Speaker:because when I feel connected, I
Speaker:feel happy. And a lot of the time we
Speaker:lose the importance of connecting with
Speaker:our loved ones and we lose the importance of happiness. So
Speaker:when I returned to New Zealand because my grandfather
Speaker:was unwell, he said to
Speaker:me that he's okay because he's had
Speaker:a happy life. And
Speaker:that really, really made me think, am I happy? And
Speaker:it made me feel like that was the most important thing
Speaker:to chase. And I know that it's great to have
Speaker:goals for materialistic things and it's great
Speaker:to have goals to achieve to
Speaker:get us to more financial freedom or
Speaker:more contentment and
Speaker:all of those things. But if we're not chasing happiness,
Speaker:we won't ever achieve it. And then If
Speaker:we can't be it, we won't experience
Speaker:it. And I realized as well that
Speaker:I was already very happy. But I just needed
Speaker:more of that and I needed to be having that
Speaker:every day, a continuous flow of happiness. And that
Speaker:can come from gratitude and it can come from just being
Speaker:and experiencing and engaging and connecting with
Speaker:your loved ones and the ones that matter most. And
Speaker:so for me, life is happening all the time within business,
Speaker:within my relationships with my husband, relationships with
Speaker:all my children, their emotions and everything. But
Speaker:if my main goal and what I have been focusing on is
Speaker:happiness, I get that. And
Speaker:I get to be happy. And I truly hope that
Speaker:my podcast actually reaches people and encourages
Speaker:them and empowers them to be happy as well. And
Speaker:I know that a lot of people can go
Speaker:through life and they feel moments of
Speaker:happiness. But I truly believe that we can have
Speaker:a continuous flow and a continuous source of happiness. How
Speaker:I would define happiness? is when your children are
Speaker:running up to you and you just want to run back to them, run
Speaker:towards them. True happiness is knowing
Speaker:that what was sent to destroy you, you
Speaker:overcome. The success and
Speaker:the victory that you get to show up every day
Speaker:for the people that you love and give them the best of
Speaker:you is happiness. When
Speaker:you wake up every day, next to the person that you love,
Speaker:that's happiness. So a lot of people have so
Speaker:much amazing things in their life to make them happy, but they're
Speaker:too busy caught up in life and
Speaker:all the obstacles and challenges and things that life throws at
Speaker:us to realise that they have everything right
Speaker:in front of them that makes them happy. So I
Speaker:just want to encourage you to take a moment and have a look around
Speaker:your life, your environment, what
Speaker:you've created for yourself, and ask yourself, am
Speaker:I already happy? Do I have everything in front of
Speaker:me right now that creates
Speaker:happiness? Because I can
Speaker:guarantee you if you've gone through a lot of things and
Speaker:you are truly living life, you have so much to
Speaker:be happy for. You just have to start
Speaker:feeling it and you just have to start being happy
Speaker:because happiness is the end goal. It's
Speaker:the end goal for me. I want to be on
Speaker:this beautiful journey of life, happy. And
Speaker:no matter where we go in life and where our destination is,
Speaker:some people just want to have a
Speaker:business. Some people just want to travel. Some people want
Speaker:to just be a mum, be a dad. We don't all
Speaker:have to have the big visions and the grand destinations.
Speaker:And sometimes we just want to be able to get through happy.
Speaker:And I just know that sometimes life is sent to destroy
Speaker:us and make it hard. But if you keep focusing
Speaker:on the great things that you have in your life, you
Speaker:will get through. And you can just keep focused
Speaker:by really understanding what is important. And for
Speaker:me, that is happiness. Your focus goes, energy
Speaker:flows. And we want more of that. We
Speaker:want more of the good stuff. I know that it might
Speaker:come across that it's easy for me to say to be happy. I have an
Speaker:amazing husband, I have a lot of children and a
Speaker:business and I have some really positive goals
Speaker:and visions that I'm working towards. But
Speaker:I know what it's like to not have those as well. And
Speaker:so if you are struggling to find something
Speaker:to be happy about, you can just take a moment and
Speaker:just be grateful for anything. Because
Speaker:once we start to get the wheels in motion and
Speaker:actually start to bring more the
Speaker:positive things and more gratitude and you can even
Speaker:be happy for the trees and life that provide oxygen
Speaker:for us to keep going. I
Speaker:know that it's not always easy to say just be happy
Speaker:but if you try and practice I can
Speaker:guarantee and I can promise you that the
Speaker:happiness is just around the corner. And I know
Speaker:that it's not always easy to wake up with a smile on
Speaker:your face, but if you just try, just
Speaker:try to find a couple of things that
Speaker:you can be thankful for, that you can be grateful for, that
Speaker:you can slowly start to work for. You
Speaker:can just say, I am happy. Even if
Speaker:you don't feel it, I am happy. Because
Speaker:the more we put out, the more that we will get back in
Speaker:return. It's a couple of simple words. Even
Speaker:if you're not feeling it, repeat it. I am happy. I
Speaker:am happy. I am happy. and
Speaker:you will maybe give yourself a little smile because I am
Speaker:happy for you. So if you want to start a journey to happiness, I
