Speaker:You're a tactical specialist, giving you advice on how to win more matches.
Speaker:Today, let's dive right into a common pattern of play in tennis.
Speaker:A pattern is something that you see over and over again.
Speaker:One of those is the inside out forehand to backhand.
Speaker:But how do you get out of that when somebody's pinned you in a corner?
Speaker:One of the best solutions that you can do, especially if you want to get to your forehand,
Speaker:is to hit a backhand high and heavy to the corner near their backhand.
Speaker:Now, of course, the opponent's probably going to still get to the forehand,
Speaker:but the important part about that shot that you're hitting is the height.
Speaker:What that does, it makes it very difficult for your opponent to hit a hard ball to hurt you.
Speaker:And it also allows you time to run around to your forehand and decide if you want to attack
Speaker:their backhand or go inside in and put them on the run.
