Unknown:

Hello, hello, and welcome to the Borealis

Unknown:

experience. I'm your host Aurora, and I'm very happy to be

Unknown:

spending some time with you today.

Unknown:

I hope you're doing well. It is November, it is a DAG month, it

Unknown:

is a month that might bring up some old stuff that we urgently

Unknown:

need to let go. It is a munstead is a little bit slower and pace,

Unknown:

a little bit darker and sunlight. And that affects of

Unknown:

psyche intensely. What I like to do in the winter months is to

Unknown:

amp up my vitamin intake a little bit because I'm prone to

Unknown:

winter depression. And that seems to be helping. I also have

Unknown:

a very rigid routine when it comes to walking. Walking just

Unknown:

20 minutes a day, at your own pace. Doesn't have to be uphill

Unknown:

or downhill can improve your mental health drastically, and

Unknown:

your physical health not only your heart and your respiratory

Unknown:

system, but also your lymphatic system. your lymphatic system is

Unknown:

helping you to detox to get rid of stuff that your body is

Unknown:

secreting and doesn't need anymore. And it is only

Unknown:

functioning once we move. And walking is a very good way of

Unknown:

getting your fluids moving. The lymphatic system only works

Unknown:

through the muscle pump in your calves, for instance. And, yeah,

Unknown:

it is really, really important during those months to know that

Unknown:

yeah, darkness might come over us but there is tools that we

Unknown:

can use to help ourselves. I'm also a life coach now. And I'm

Unknown:

more than happy to help you to Yeah, give you more specific

Unknown:

tools to your life to your situation. Maybe you are a mom

Unknown:

and overwhelmed with having to do at all maybe you are a

Unknown:

husband and overwhelmed with balancing work and family. Maybe

Unknown:

you are single and desperate to find the right partner and you

Unknown:

just want to manifest a good person into your life. I would

Unknown:

gladly help you on your journey. Whatever it is, so don't

Unknown:

hesitate. You can contact me on Facebook, Aurora Eggert or

Unknown:

Aurora Eggert coaching, and then we can make a plan. So taking

Unknown:

really good care of yourself during those winter months is

Unknown:

key. Sometimes we can rely on our friends and we have a strong

Unknown:

support system. And we can cry on our neighbor's shoulders or

Unknown:

call up our sister or a brother. But sometimes they're busy

Unknown:

sometimes they are overwhelmed themselves. And it is important

Unknown:

to know for ourselves that we can rely on us that yes, we have

Unknown:

other people around us who can help us but we can help

Unknown:

ourselves too. So another way of really making you feel good is

Unknown:

taking baths. And if you don't have a bathtub, taking a shower

Unknown:

with the intention to wash off stuff that you don't need

Unknown:

anymore. And if you have a bath, just soak in it as long as it

Unknown:

feels good with some Epsom salt in it and really let go and

Unknown:

relax that your body totally relax. You know our body is our

Unknown:

best friend who I love to say and the better, more comfortable

Unknown:

our body fields, the better our soul and our mind fields because

Unknown:

it is all interacting. Your body has sensors. Your body has five

Unknown:

senses. Some people have six and everything that we take in from

Unknown:

our environment affects not only the body, but also your mind And

Unknown:

you're so your heart, your emotions. So the better you take

Unknown:

care of your body, the better you're going to feel overall.

Unknown:

And sometimes we have to be a little bit of an detective and

Unknown:

find out, did I really give my body everything it needs in

Unknown:

order for me to feel good? It is winter now, where we live in

Unknown:

North America? Am I adjusting my pace? And am I adjusting my

Unknown:

nutrients and my lifestyle to this darker season? Or am I

Unknown:

still trying to push through and get it all done and and you

Unknown:

know, have that sun energy that summer energy going on, we can

Unknown:

use this time of the year to reflect, to relax, to release,

Unknown:

and to let go. And if we do that intentionally, it doesn't feel

Unknown:

like things are people are being ripped away from our lives. It

Unknown:

feels more like a gentle letting go. It feels more like yes, this

Unknown:

is supposed to happen. This is the leaves of a tree that are

Unknown:

supposed to fall onto the ground. And it is a very, very

Unknown:

important process. I feel because we declutter, we let go,

Unknown:

we go into winter, we're a little bit more quiet, a little

Unknown:

bit more introverted, maybe, and then come spring, we will be

Unknown:

full of energy, we will only be carrying what we're supposed to

Unknown:

be carrying around. And I think it's a it's a very beautiful

Unknown:

season to be in. But we have to approach it mindfully. It is

Unknown:

also important to not get sucked into any weird expectations when

Unknown:

it comes to Christmas. Any weird pressures from society side. And

Unknown:

this is how it's meant to be this is how it's supposed to be

Unknown:

and not differently. You know, that kind of vibe. It is very

Unknown:

important to be a little bit introspective and to really

Unknown:

know, what is it that I need? What is it that I aspire? What

Unknown:

is it that I want? And then look around me and you and see the

Unknown:

people that you deeply care about? What is it that they want

Unknown:

and need? How can we connect, but at the same time being very

Unknown:

authentic and not giving into some weird Christmas

Unknown:

expectations. A lot of people come Black Friday are very

Unknown:

hysterical when it comes to Christmas, gift buying. And

Unknown:

maybe that's not your style, maybe that's not your way to

Unknown:

show and express your love. And it is totally fine. Maybe you

Unknown:

have a different way of expressing love. And then go for

Unknown:

it. Don't suppress it. Don't be shy. Because we all want to

Unknown:

connect, we all need each other. Right? So it is important to

Unknown:

find out who you are, in order to make the right decisions for

Unknown:

yourself for yourself. This just one and for your relationships.

Unknown:

Be kind to yourself, be gentle. And know that yes, darkness

Unknown:

might come up. But it is okay. You're not alone in this. We're

Unknown:

all in this together. We all feel the darkness creeping up on

Unknown:

us. We all feel the uncertainty and the weirdness that COVID has

Unknown:

brought into our lives. We're all trying to do the best for us

Unknown:

and for our families. So let us not only be gentle with

Unknown:

ourselves, but also with others and know that everybody has

Unknown:

their story. Everybody has their reasoning. And the more we ask

Unknown:

gentle questions, the more we can make sense of other people's

Unknown:

situations and decision making. Making assumptions having

Unknown:

opinions is a natural given. That's where we love to be in

Unknown:

yeah in a state of having an opinion and making assumptions

Unknown:

and bonding through opinions and assumptions. But it is not

Unknown:

always a smart way when it comes to wanting to connect with

Unknown:

people. Sometimes we have to make the decision. Do we want to

Unknown:

connect? Or do we want to be right?

Unknown:

And before the holidays, before all these Christmas gatherings,

Unknown:

let us set that intention. Be intentional about it. If you

Unknown:

want to be right, no matter what, and you don't care about

Unknown:

the relationships and you want kind of, you know, stand up for

Unknown:

yourself and test your relationships, then don't get me

Unknown:

wrong, I'm all for it. And that energy is totally cool too. But

Unknown:

maybe you feel lonely, maybe you want deep connections. And then

Unknown:

having your opinions and assumptions right in front of

Unknown:

you. You know, carrying them like a shield is not going to

Unknown:

make you connect deeply with people. So be tender. Let go of

Unknown:

stuff, let go of opinions and assumptions. If it feels right

Unknown:

for you at the moment if you feel that it takes away tension.

Unknown:

And enjoy those more darker and slower months. There's always

Unknown:

two sides of a coin, right? The darker month don't only bring

Unknown:

pain and weakness and depression. They can also have

Unknown:

very healing sides to themselves. Thank you so much

Unknown:

for listening to my episode here. I send out my love to you.

Unknown:

I care deeply for you. I'm so happy to have you here. And to

Unknown:

connect with you over Facebook to hear your comments to hear

Unknown:

your experiences. And to be connected. It is incredibly

Unknown:

awesome for me to know that I can bring you peace and help you

Unknown:

recharge your batteries. And yeah, I'm just so glad to be

Unknown:

serving you. take really good care of yourself. And I will be

Unknown:

out there very soon again. Bye bye
