So this is the hey. Hey, you guys. I am back
Speaker:with a fresh episode on insights
Speaker:from my trip from Bali. I hope you
Speaker:guys enjoy this episode as much as I enjoyed putting it
Speaker:together.
Speaker:Okay? Now
Speaker:I'm going to go live in just
Speaker:a minute.
Speaker:Okay?
Speaker:If I can go live. We're about to find out.
Speaker:Greetings, I am back from Bali.
Speaker:For those of you who are watching me live, my T shirt could not be
Speaker:more timely with the word grateful written across
Speaker:it. So excited to be back from my ten day
Speaker:retreat from Bali, and I'm bringing to you guys a
Speaker:special episode on insights from my trip
Speaker:as I speak to you, a little nasally. I travel for ten days. I go
Speaker:across the globe and catch nothing. I come home to kids with a cold
Speaker:and now I've got one. So there you go. So
Speaker:pardon the nasallyness, if that's a word.
Speaker:So why, first of all, did I even go to
Speaker:Bali? And we're going to get into this today, but it was really about
Speaker:consciously surrendering and letting go of the reins. And I'll speak
Speaker:more to that in a minute. But what you're going to hear
Speaker:about in this episode today, the key takeaways that
Speaker:I'm going to talk about with my trip to Bali were,
Speaker:one, the concept of conscious surrendering. So we're going to talk about
Speaker:that why I went on this journey. Number two, we're going to talk
Speaker:about lessons in traversing the unknown.
Speaker:We're also going to talk about the gratitude
Speaker:of the country and what I brought home from
Speaker:experiencing a level I'd never experienced before when it comes
Speaker:to gratitude, we're going to talk about
Speaker:experiences over things, going to talk about
Speaker:that. And then also the power of the
Speaker:energy and the energetic vortex and just the key term
Speaker:energy as it relates to Bali. So that's what
Speaker:I'm going to talk about today. So let's just jump right
Speaker:in to the conscious surrendering piece because I got a lot
Speaker:of questions from a lot of people who are like, oh my God, what are
Speaker:you doing going all the way across the globe to Bali? I've got
Speaker:these three little kids and these businesses and well, my first response is,
Speaker:why the hell not? I actually
Speaker:love the life I've created and the schedule I've created because
Speaker:I don't have to wait till I retire to hop a plane and spend
Speaker:ten days somewhere experiencing a different culture in a different world.
Speaker:Not necessarily a different world, but it felt like a different world. And so why
Speaker:the hell not, right? But secondly, there actually was intention
Speaker:around it. And counterintuitive as it sounds, the
Speaker:intention was to surrender being in control. The intention
Speaker:was to stop holding the reins, being in charge
Speaker:right after an epic run, literally a week after
Speaker:closing down our launch, where we did nearly a million dollars in sales in
Speaker:less than two weeks. Becoming a best selling author for the second
Speaker:time. All of this happening in the same month, right? It was time
Speaker:to slow down and ask the universe,
Speaker:what does it want from me?
Speaker:I've been so blessed. I have incredible clients
Speaker:who've said, yes, what does the
Speaker:universe want more of? It was time to pause and
Speaker:listen about what's to come for
Speaker:2024, right? What's the next level?
Speaker:What's ascension for me? What does growth look like? And unless you're still
Speaker:and create space to receive, how
Speaker:will you ever get clarity, right? So it was time for
Speaker:me to go there and really, I'll tell you and we'll talk a little bit
Speaker:about this later, but I was able to get massive downloads
Speaker:on my direction for the next year, right? We'll talk about
Speaker:it in a little bit. But I would have never had the space had I
Speaker:not taken this trip to consciously surrender and be that
Speaker:creative and tap into my subconscious and create the
Speaker:space I was consciously allowing to
Speaker:receive. I want to use. This word
Speaker:calculated receptivity literally paving a
Speaker:path creating space blocking out all the
Speaker:noise so that I could receive and be a student
Speaker:be an open vessel. Because I spend the large majority of my
Speaker:days every day being the teacher, being the
Speaker:boss, being the mom, being the leader, being the decision maker.
Speaker:Right? Being the visionary. And so it was a time to
Speaker:receive the gift and the bounty I had received from
Speaker:working hard and receive the feminine
Speaker:principle of receptivity, right? So it
Speaker:was a beautiful place to receive, a spiritual place to receive.
Speaker:I will also say I've been on my own spiritual journey the past two years
Speaker:and I have just been on this incredible high of connection to
Speaker:God, to my source, and was really, really
Speaker:enjoying that path and creating even more space and stillness
Speaker:to listen and communicate to my higher
Speaker:source and what the universe wants more of
Speaker:from me so that I can make a larger impact in this world. So hopefully
Speaker:that makes sense. That was my
Speaker:prime reason for going number one and number two,
Speaker:because I can. Okay, so
Speaker:what did I learn while I was there? What I
Speaker:learned is, again, I just want to recap on this, that
Speaker:we have to slow down, right, in order to
Speaker:receive and actually slow down and give thanks.
Speaker:I'm going to talk a little bit about this in a minute. Just the gratitude
Speaker:piece, but giving thanks, it's very easy. I
Speaker:caught myself and my whole team. Like, we're done with launch. So we did almost
Speaker:a million in sales in less than, like, 14 days. We became a best
Speaker:selling author, like, 22 of our clients did. We jump on a call
Speaker:and literally, we're talking about what's next. Like, literally, we're talking
Speaker:about the next launch. We're talking about the next goals. And it's like, whoa, whoa,
Speaker:whoa, whoa. Let's pump the brakes. Let's
Speaker:receive the bounty that has come our way
Speaker:and let's consciously pause right
Speaker:in this space. And not just
Speaker:pause, but give thanks. Give
Speaker:gratitude, right? The shirt, the gratitude, the
Speaker:magnanimity. I can't tell you how many times
Speaker:during that ride of success, right
Speaker:before I went to Bali that I was literally on my knees bawling
Speaker:with gratitude for what was manifesting in my life,
Speaker:right? And so this leads me to what was going on in Bali when I
Speaker:landed. See, they were in the midst of a
Speaker:twelve day celebration and I didn't know this.
Speaker:I landed on their twelveTH day of celebration that
Speaker:was focused around gratitude. And this key
Speaker:day that I landed on was called Canning Day.
Speaker:And it was so timely that I showed up on this day because so many
Speaker:locals were in the streets celebrating with
Speaker:gratitude. The children had the gongs and the
Speaker:bells and they were dancing and they were singing and they had these huge
Speaker:animal like figures that they were all standing under and moving
Speaker:in the streets. And they have this key term that's
Speaker:called sucks. Sucks Manning.
Speaker:Indeed. Sucks manning in deep. And the term is all
Speaker:thanks are given for the blessings during human
Speaker:life, for whatever has been achieved and
Speaker:found is important to be grateful.
Speaker:It gives me chills. I did not know when I landed in
Speaker:Bali on this day that this is what was going on. Yet I was
Speaker:on such a personal and spiritual
Speaker:and business high from my own life
Speaker:and landing in Bali in an immense space of
Speaker:gratitude to literally pause and give
Speaker:freaking thanks. Right? It was oozing out of
Speaker:the know. It's called the island of God. There's
Speaker:more temples per square mile than anywhere on the planet.
Speaker:They ooze gratitude. They have every house has a temple. They give
Speaker:gratitude and an offering to every morning when they get in their car,
Speaker:there's an offering to give thanks. Where they go for work has an
Speaker:offering on the front and an altar to give thanks.
Speaker:Right? I attended a new moon ceremony that
Speaker:lasted for 3 hours
Speaker:oozing with gratitude to Mother Earth, to the
Speaker:sky, to all that we have received. Literally just
Speaker:an energetic focus on thank you, thank you,
Speaker:thank you. And what I want to underscore here that was
Speaker:just eye opening for me is
Speaker:that the average income in that country is $250
Speaker:a month.
Speaker:$250 a month. See, the large
Speaker:majority of people who live on that island have never left it because
Speaker:they can't afford to get off the island. But one
Speaker:of the things I noticed is that there was no homelessness in the
Speaker:streets here at home. There's a lot of mental illness that contributes to a lot
Speaker:of homelessness, right? Even though we're the most abundant
Speaker:gluttonous country in the world, there's this disproportionate
Speaker:amount of mental illness and homelessness,
Speaker:even though in this country the average person makes $250
Speaker:a year. I mean, a month. I didn't see anyone
Speaker:homeless begging for anything. All I saw was a culture
Speaker:of people with a huge grin and smile on their
Speaker:face, immensely grateful to be alive,
Speaker:immensely grateful for their island, for
Speaker:life. Oozing with it. And as a matter of fact,
Speaker:one of the drivers told me, he said,
Speaker:I know the success that you Americans have, it comes at a
Speaker:cost. He said, It may sound crazy, but we're not jealous of
Speaker:your life. We know what comes with all that success.
Speaker:You have to keep up with all the things you buy. And
Speaker:the thing that really rung true to me is he said, you're here on a
Speaker:ten day vacation because you need a break. He said, Americans
Speaker:have so much mental stress from their careers
Speaker:that they literally need to take vacation to get away from it.
Speaker:He said, US, in Bali, we don't need a vacation. We love our
Speaker:lives. We work hard physically. We go to bed, we wake up, and we are
Speaker:so happy, and we're ready to work again. We don't need
Speaker:vacation dates. And I thought,
Speaker:wow, that was serious
Speaker:perspective that he knows what
Speaker:monetary things are out there. He knows financially
Speaker:how successful some folks are, but
Speaker:they aren't jealous for it because they know that it comes at a cost.
Speaker:And they're such a happy, healthy culture,
Speaker:which now is so obvious to me because of their
Speaker:immense gratitude from the moment they wake to the moment they go to
Speaker:bed. Right. Their mindset, they are
Speaker:literally programming their mind on a daily basis. Oozing
Speaker:of gratitude, right? So good.
Speaker:Another thing I learned, the fear of the
Speaker:unknown is not so
Speaker:scary. You guys have heard me talk about this in entrepreneurship,
Speaker:so I'm going to fold in some analogies here, but believe it or
Speaker:not, I was nervous to travel to Bali all by
Speaker:myself. Beyond traveling to Canada and
Speaker:Mexico, I have not traveled internationally by
Speaker:myself ever other than Canada and Mexico. I was in
Speaker:Europe over a decade ago with my husband, but I've never
Speaker:traipsed 36 hours on planes by
Speaker:myself somewhere to a foreign country where the native language
Speaker:isn't English, right? So there was a lot of unknown that had me
Speaker:really uncomfortable, and I almost didn't go
Speaker:for fear of getting stuck somewhere and not knowing the language and not
Speaker:being able to change planes. That may sound silly to some of you
Speaker:guys, right? But what I learned as I traversed the world
Speaker:and made it to Bali was that I had that power
Speaker:within myself to get there the whole time.
Speaker:I just needed to trust the process. I
Speaker:needed to trust myself. I needed to have
Speaker:confidence in myself. And by being willing to take that
Speaker:leap of faith, not knowing exactly what
Speaker:was on the other side, I didn't even know the people I was staying with.
Speaker:We're going to talk about that in a minute. It revealed to me a
Speaker:totally entire new portal
Speaker:of unknown when it comes to world travel.
Speaker:It opened my eyes prior to getting on that plane and traveling
Speaker:across the world by myself. I was
Speaker:unconsciously incompetent. I did not know
Speaker:what I didn't know about traveling the globe, and so I feared
Speaker:it. By traveling the globe, I became
Speaker:consciously incompetent, meaning I
Speaker:realized how little I knew about the rest of the
Speaker:world by traveling to this one geographic
Speaker:location across the world. Now I'm
Speaker:consciously realizing I'm incompetent in learning so many
Speaker:cultures, so many religions, so many
Speaker:cuisines, right? All the things. And so I
Speaker:know there's so much more to learn. And it's just like business.
Speaker:If we stay comfortable with what we know in business,
Speaker:we never tap into new portals for quantum
Speaker:expansion. Right?
Speaker:I'd never done over $300,000 in sales in a
Speaker:launch before. I did almost a million dollars in sales in a
Speaker:launch. I hadn't been there before. Right? It was
Speaker:uncharted territory. I didn't know unless I
Speaker:got uncomfortable for the expansion of what was ahead. It's the same
Speaker:way with my travel. I didn't know until
Speaker:I tapped into those portals to see, right? And it was
Speaker:like, wow, I want to do this again. I've got so many
Speaker:places I want to go now. Right? Another unknown that
Speaker:was really, really interesting for me. I didn't know who I was
Speaker:sharing my house with in Bali. I asked. I am like an
Speaker:enneagram eight who likes to be in control. And even though I was
Speaker:consciously surrendering, I still wanted to control who was
Speaker:there, because in my mind, I energetically wanted to
Speaker:be matched with successful entrepreneurs who were similar
Speaker:or further along than me because I wanted to learn from them. I always say
Speaker:I like to be the dumbest, brokest person in the room, right? But that's
Speaker:business. And I had to remind myself I wasn't on this
Speaker:trip for business. I was on this trip spiritually and for personal
Speaker:growth. And what I realized
Speaker:is that some of the greatest growth happened
Speaker:for me from some of the most unsuspecting people that were in
Speaker:that room. What happened and transpired in
Speaker:this retreat was that the large majority of people there were about
Speaker:a decade younger than me and a number of steps earlier
Speaker:on than me in their business growth. And it was a
Speaker:priceless opportunity for me as a business owner to
Speaker:literally live in a house with people who are
Speaker:really exactly like the clients that I serve. You see, I get to
Speaker:coach my clients across zoom. I get to see them on occasion at live
Speaker:events. But to live in a house with entrepreneurs
Speaker:who are in the early stages and hearing again and being reminded of the
Speaker:early level challenges the mindset
Speaker:blocks, the personal growth that needs to happen.
Speaker:The journey that they have to embark on grounded
Speaker:me and got me more connected with my
Speaker:current clients. And there was actually a participant
Speaker:there who reminded me of my children.
Speaker:Okay. Her breakthroughs and her
Speaker:inner child work that we all did were a mirror to me
Speaker:as a parent with my kids back at home.
Speaker:And one of the first things I did when I got home was actually have
Speaker:direct conversations with my kids. Right. There
Speaker:were other attendees there that were married, there were couples, and that reminded me
Speaker:of my husband and I and the journey that we're on together. And
Speaker:so where I'm going with this is that the unknown of who was in the
Speaker:group was the magic in my own personal growth
Speaker:of realizing I don't always need to be put into a room that's going
Speaker:to grow me in business that many times.
Speaker:It's the most unsuspecting people who can grow you personally.
Speaker:Right. And professionally. Right. Experiences
Speaker:over money. One of the things I noticed again, we talked about the average
Speaker:income of $250 a month I had on
Speaker:my vision board before the end of this year to buy a G Wagon. And
Speaker:I came away from Bali realizing how little these people live
Speaker:with and how happy they are and how a G Wagon was
Speaker:not something I really needed. And as a matter of fact, even though it's a
Speaker:nice car and I love driving it, let's be
Speaker:honest, those types of purchases are actually for
Speaker:ego and perception, like literally buying
Speaker:something for what other people think about your
Speaker:status, right? Yes, I love the G Wagon, but I have an
Speaker:Infinity QX 80, which is a really nice high end car to begin with.
Speaker:And I started running the numbers, and I was like this first
Speaker:class because Mama went first class. This first class
Speaker:trip to Bali was, bar none, the best investment
Speaker:because I was so comfortable. I slept all the way there, I slept
Speaker:all the way back. I was so rejuvenated and full of energy when I got
Speaker:there, I started running the numbers, and I'm like a family of five.
Speaker:We could take three to four first class flights
Speaker:across the globe to, like, South Africa to Australia, to
Speaker:Thailand instead of an
Speaker:ego purchase of a G Wagon. Right? And so
Speaker:my mindset really shifted around
Speaker:things, and I've always had more of a focus on
Speaker:experience. But my ego wanted the G Wagon,
Speaker:right? My ego wanted the G wagon. The last thing I want to land
Speaker:on here was the energy vortex of Bali.
Speaker:For those of you guys who are into the energy and body work, I have
Speaker:been over the last two years in a major growth in what we call
Speaker:spiritual ascension. And I and my
Speaker:energetics coach, my spiritual coach talked about this the day I got there. We did
Speaker:some really deep holotropic breath work that can really get at the
Speaker:root of your nervous system. And I had some
Speaker:huge energetic releases. Huge.
Speaker:I can't even explain to you the jolts that came
Speaker:out of my body, the outer body experiences that I had
Speaker:and even just like how unsettled my legs
Speaker:were the first two days, really working to
Speaker:release these last final shedding of old energy to
Speaker:this final level in this level of ascension that I'm going
Speaker:through. It was mind blowing and incredible.
Speaker:But bali is an energy vortex similar to sedona. For those of you
Speaker:guys who research that type of stuff. The energy healers
Speaker:there were incredible coming from kind of a western
Speaker:medicine PharmD training. I found it
Speaker:fascinating. The body workers who practiced Chinese
Speaker:medicine and could literally rub their hands on my belly,
Speaker:check my pulse and look at my tongue and tell me when my period was
Speaker:going to start, how healthy my heart was, how my lipids
Speaker:were. It was mind
Speaker:blowing. How they practice medicine in a completely
Speaker:different way and get the same results, right? And
Speaker:so we did a lot of work, energy work. Some
Speaker:really incredible spiritual ceremonies, cacao
Speaker:ceremonies. People from across the globe. Therefore,
Speaker:their spiritual journey and connectedness. This
Speaker:universal connectedness. It wasn't one single religion. It wasn't just
Speaker:Budhism or Hinduism or Muslim or Christian. It was
Speaker:really just spirituality and connectedness to all right
Speaker:and purpose. Which leads me to that
Speaker:consciously allowing time where I was able to slow down, listen
Speaker:to my intuition and get the tugs, get the cues. I've had this
Speaker:gut pull all year, but I got profound,
Speaker:profound cues and signs for my next chapter,
Speaker:for impact, for impact for others in
Speaker:business and their life. And I actually completely
Speaker:birthed an entirely new program while I'm there all the way
Speaker:down to the month by month curriculum. And because I
Speaker:created the space and I cleared
Speaker:the energetic path, I
Speaker:accomplished creating the vision, the
Speaker:output and a program literally within two
Speaker:to three days that had I tried to just force myself
Speaker:to figure it out. While being at home in the chaos and
Speaker:the push and the leading of my team and the coaching of my clients. It
Speaker:would have taken me months and likely wouldn't have had the exact
Speaker:clarity and connection and tethering
Speaker:to the anchor of the output of it spiritually and
Speaker:impact. Right. And I know I'm going super woo for some of you
Speaker:guys, but it was life changing.
Speaker:And so where I'll land with that is I birds a new program. It won't
Speaker:be coming out till the new year, I haven't even
Speaker:named it yet, but it's going to hinge around the modern entrepreneur where bodies
Speaker:build businesses with mind, body and spirit for expansion
Speaker:in business. And I am bringing in the absolute experts who've
Speaker:helped me ascend over the past two years in mind, body
Speaker:and spirit that has created massive expansion where I've grown
Speaker:my business 400% since last year while
Speaker:getting the healthiest and the happiest I've ever gotten. And those were the major
Speaker:downloads I had while I was in Bali is it's not just business
Speaker:strategy. This program is not going to be another guru telling you
Speaker:exactly the business strategy. It's going to be about learning to tap into your own
Speaker:intuition and get connected so that you can make the next
Speaker:steps confidently from your internal
Speaker:north compass. Right. And I'll be hinging on a lot of
Speaker:the scientific background I have around nervous
Speaker:system dysregulation and the modalities to get regulated so that
Speaker:energetically. We are on fire, right? Oh, my gosh. I could talk about
Speaker:this forever. But speaking of being on fire, this girl has to wrap up because
Speaker:I've got a coaching haul in two minutes. That is my recap for you from
Speaker:my trip from Bali. If you're curious or inspired about my
Speaker:upcoming program, there will be some information in the show
Speaker:notes about getting on the waitlist. Or you can email
Speaker:us at teamburnouttoallout
Speaker:co. You can email us at team
Speaker:at teamburnouttoallout co.
Speaker:So hope to see you guys on our next episode. See you live
Speaker:somewhere. If you're watching this recently, I hope to see you
Speaker:in Nashville in a couple of weeks. Some of the core
Speaker:collaborators for this future program next year are going to be speaking
Speaker:on stage in Nashville. I cannot wait. I hope you guys have
