Melissa Deally:

Welcome back to another episode of health hack as I continue talking about the importance of hydration. And today, I want to talk to you about the fact that hydration can actually help with weight management. You see, if you drink water before your meals, that can help control caloric intake. Sometimes we think we're hungry, and we're actually not hungry, We're thirsty. So if you feel like you're hungry, perhaps even just try drinking a glass of water. And then maybe you forget all about the hunger pangs because that's what your body needed, and you've gone on to do other things. So it definitely will help with reducing caloric intake. It also helps increase exercise performance, which means that you are more likely to want to exercise further. It is absolutely essential for maintaining endurance during exercise. And when we exercise without hydrating enough, that's when we can start to have cramps and muscle soreness, etc. So good exercise or maintaining good exercise levels requires good hydration. So it's great for weight management, and it's great for supporting your exercise which supports your weight management. So how much are you drinking each and every day? Are you drinking enough for optimal health, weight management and exercise?
