Speaker:Today's tip comes from RSPA and PPA Certified Pickleball Pro, Jim Carella.
Speaker:Have a listen and let us know what you think.
Speaker:Hi, Jim Carella here, aka Jimbo Pickleball.
Speaker:Today we're talking about dinking and why we dink.
Speaker:First, I think there are three reasons.
Speaker:One is to open up the court with good angled dinks.
Speaker:You can expose more space.
Speaker:Second is checking on your opponent's skill to dink.
Speaker:It's a high level shot and they may not be able to execute it.
Speaker:Why not take advantage of that?
Speaker:And finally, the most rewarding of all is the pop-up.
Speaker:Dinking in a spot which creates a pop-up that you can attack.
Speaker:So dinking is not just to be soft.
Speaker:Dinking is to try to find offense in the game.
Speaker:Hope this helps.
Speaker:Happy pickling.
Speaker:Well, there you have it.
Speaker:We want to thank reGeovinate.com for use in the studio and Signature Tennis for their
