Speaker A

Welcome to Love Notes from Rhonda.

Speaker A

And today I want to talk about believing, believing.

Speaker A

I have a sign in my house that says, I believe.

Speaker A

I believe in magic.

Speaker A

I believe in miracles.

Speaker A

I believe in Santa Claus.

Speaker A

I believe in the Easter Bunny.

Speaker A

I believe.

Speaker A

I want to believe in the miracle magic of the day.

Speaker A

Today, if you celebrate Christmas, Merry Christmas.

Speaker A

And if you don't, the message still applies.

Speaker A

Because I want to know what you believe in.

Speaker A

And do you believe?

Speaker A

Do you believe?

Speaker A

Do you believe?

Speaker A

When I have felt disheartened in my life or frustrated in my life, or down in my life, or dark in my life, I wanted to believe.

Speaker A

I prayed to believe.

Speaker A

But I didn't believe so much.

Speaker A

There have been times that I put God on the other side of the line in the sand because it was just too dangerous to believe in that thing called God.

Speaker A

It was too scary.

Speaker A

He asked too much.

Speaker A

I wanted to believe in every relationship I ever had that the love was real.

Speaker A

And yes, the love is real.

Speaker A

Love is always real.

Speaker A

Yet I wanted to believe that they would last forever.

Speaker A

And they didn't.

Speaker A

Yet the love does.

Speaker A

So I know that there have been times that you wanted to believe something so much, you wanted to believe it so much.

Speaker A

Whether it's you believe you want to get that raise, or believe that your mother loves you, or believe in whatever you wanted to believe, and you've come to find out that whatever happened, whatever you've realized doesn't quite match what you wanted to believe.

Speaker A

That isn't a time to stop believing.

Speaker A

It's a time to look at yourself and ask yourself, what's the difference between believing in the miracle and magics of this life versus putting my faith in another human being who has their own fears and worries and concerns and sorrows and suffering and triggers, et cetera, et cetera.

Speaker A

What are you putting your faith?

Speaker A

What are you believing in?

Speaker A

See, I believe in magic and miracles.

Speaker A

I believe in the essence of all things holy.

Speaker A

I believe that life is called to us, for us, through us.

Speaker A

I believe that we are messengers in this world.

Speaker A

You and I are messengers and our message is the essence of who we are expressed.

Speaker A

See, I believe success is full self expression.

Speaker A

And I believe that we are here, that you're here, that I'm here to fully express who we are.

Speaker A

I believe in that.

Speaker A

I believe that you have a right and I have a right to express who we really are.

Speaker A

I believe that there are people that can help us, that support us, that encourage us, whether we know about them or not.

Speaker A

I believe that the world is Friendly and the universe is for me.

Speaker A

What do you believe?

Speaker A

So I'd like you to look at your belief today and ask yourself, what are you deciding to believe in?

Speaker A

Are you wanting to believe in humans?

Speaker A

Are you wanting to believe in philosophies and values in belief systems?

Speaker A

What is it that you believe?

Speaker A

The sign I have in my house that says I believe, remember reminds me to believe in the magic and miracles that this world provides.

Speaker A

That anything is possible.

Speaker A

Anything is possible.

Speaker A

Anything is possible.

Speaker A

So do I want you to stay connected to human beings?

Speaker A

Of course I do.

Speaker A

Are we all frail and triggered by fear?

Speaker A

Sure.

Speaker A

Yes.

Speaker A

You and me.

Speaker A

We both are.

Speaker A

Does it mean that you have to lose faith in me or I have to lose faith in you?

Speaker A

No.

Speaker A

We just have to be willing to grow our capacity to see innocence and have compassion for ourselves and others.

Speaker A

So today I invite you to consider.

Speaker A

What do you believe?

Speaker A

What do you believe?

Speaker A

What do you believe in what you put your faith in?

Speaker A

I also put my belief and faith in myself.

Speaker A

I know that I will persevere.

Speaker A

I know that I will keep going.

Speaker A

Even though I'm sitting down sometimes, I know that I will get up.

Speaker A

I know that about me.

Speaker A

I have watched myself do it time and time again.

Speaker A

Even if that sitting down lasted for years.

Speaker A

I have sat down for years in the past and didn't know if I would get up, but I did get up.

Speaker A

And I also know that sometimes we need to sit down to recoup, refresh, reset, to give us that natural standing up again, the natural lifting up, the natural motivation, the natural desire.

Speaker A

So I'm not talking about go, go, go.

Speaker A

I'm talking about center, center, center, center in yourself.

Speaker A

So what do you put your faith in?

Speaker A

What do you believe when you hear the phrase I believe what moves through you?

Speaker A

And do you really, when I ask you what you have faith in, what's your answer?

Speaker A

And do you really.

Speaker A

Or do you take it away when life gets hard, do you take it away if you get disappointed, do you take it away?

Speaker A

Or do you keep on believing and having faith, regardless of what's happening around you, regardless of the circumstances, regardless the disappointments, regardless of it all, this is where I want us to get to together that you can hold onto your belief and faith regardless of of what's happening around you, regardless of how you feel inside, regardless of the thoughts in your head.

Speaker A

So today, my friend, I want you to be thinking about what you believe and what you have faith in.

Speaker A

Let's honor today as it's meant to be.

Speaker A

Until next time be fearless.

Speaker A

Merry Christmas and I love you.
