Today I wanna talk about
EMMA:The behind the scenes of
EMMA:the Thriving Women Launch
EMMA:I get asked so many
EMMA:questions about this.
EMMA:"What happened?
EMMA:What did you do?
EMMA:What didn't you do?
EMMA:What worked?
EMMA:What didn't work?" Wowses.
EMMA:I have to say upfront,
EMMA:it took a lot.
EMMA:And so today we are going to
EMMA:have a look at what really
EMMA:happened, what I learned, what
EMMA:I may have done differently.
EMMA:Uh, but I really wanna, this
EMMA:is not a polished version.
EMMA:This is You see my socials,
EMMA:you see the gorgeous
EMMA:photos at the events.
EMMA:You see me.
EMMA:Beautifully made up.
EMMA:This is not that.
EMMA:This is, I'm rolling up my
EMMA:sleeves and I'm going to
EMMA:share with you the real story
EMMA:of a 12 week launch saying
EMMA:that out loud makes me feel
EMMA:like it was really long.
EMMA:That should give you a little
EMMA:hint into how I'm feeling
EMMA:about it, the planning,
EMMA:the pressure, the moments
EMMA:I had to dig super deep,
EMMA:and the personal heartache
EMMA:I was carrying while still
EMMA:showing up from the outside.
EMMA:This launch looked
EMMA:like a huge success,
EMMA:but behind the scenes.
EMMA:Life was happening and it
EMMA:was happening hard, and I
EMMA:think it's about time that
EMMA:I let you in on the secrets
EMMA:or the behind the scenes
EMMA:of what actually happening.
EMMA:So I'm going to pull the
EMMA:curtain back for you on the
EMMA:biggest launch that I do every
EMMA:single year, thriving women.
EMMA:You see the results.
EMMA:You see the amazing
EMMA:women who join.
EMMA:You see the energy at
EMMA:events like Dinner with the
EMMA:Queen, and go get a day.
EMMA:You see the polished content
EMMA:and all the celebrations.
EMMA:These launches, they have
EMMA:layers, so many layers
EMMA:like cheesecake layers,
EMMA:layer on top of layer.
EMMA:On top of layer.
EMMA:There is the strategy,
EMMA:there is the emotional
EMMA:load, and then there's the
EMMA:behind the scenes engine
EMMA:that no one talks about.
EMMA:So if you are ever gonna
EMMA:do a launch, this might be
EMMA:the episode to listen to.
EMMA:And today I wanna walk you
EMMA:through what really happened
EMMA:during those 12 weeks,
EMMA:how I held it, and what
EMMA:I learned along the way.
EMMA:You ready?
EMMA:Oh my goodness.
EMMA:My first lesson, there
EMMA:are a few lessons.
EMMA:We had a 12 week runway hint.
EMMA:It was way too long.
EMMA:It was way too early,
EMMA:and it was way too much.
EMMA:We ran a 12 week
EMMA:runway for this launch.
EMMA:I don't know why whose
EMMA:bright sparky idea,
EMMA:unfortunately, or mine.
EMMA:It was intentional,
EMMA:it was structured
EMMA:and it was full of tactics.
EMMA:But looking back it was
EMMA:way too long and way too
EMMA:early for the decisions
EMMA:that we needed from people.
EMMA:When you think about our
EMMA:go-getters day on the 6th
EMMA:of September, that's when we
EMMA:ripped the bandaid off and
EMMA:showed the world what thriving
EMMA:women 2026 was going to be.
EMMA:But a month before that,
EMMA:we were building up our
EMMA:audience and doing a
EMMA:whole stack of things.
EMMA:Here's what I held
EMMA:during that runway.
EMMA:I focused heavily on our
EMMA:current thriving women.
EMMA:These thriving women in
EMMA:2025 have lent into all the
EMMA:things they've used, all the
EMMA:resources, they've had lots
EMMA:of conversations, we've done
EMMA:lots of small group coaching.
EMMA:Uh, they have embraced when
EMMA:they've needed something,
EMMA:they've reached out and
EMMA:said, can I have this?
EMMA:I have made it for them.
EMMA:They have done all the things.
EMMA:It's so important to me
EMMA:to keep retention rates high.
EMMA:So important because this
EMMA:container moves women
EMMA:in the right direction.
EMMA:I know it in the
EMMA:bottom of my heart.
EMMA:And so what I really wanted
EMMA:to do was help them understand
EMMA:what was coming, what was
EMMA:changing, what support
EMMA:they would receive, and how
EMMA:the tiers were evolving.
EMMA:I had calls, we
EMMA:did a group call.
EMMA:I had.
EMMA:Updates.
EMMA:We did workshops.
EMMA:There was chats, there
EMMA:was behind the scene,
EMMA:videos, there was behind
EMMA:the scene, Marco Polos.
EMMA:There was a lot retention
EMMA:matters to me, and so
EMMA:that took a lot of energy.
EMMA:I showed up on
EMMA:organics in terms of
EMMA:socials, every single.
EMMA:Day.
EMMA:It felt like Beck, my
EMMA:social media manager would
EMMA:say every week, but it
EMMA:was pretty much every day.
EMMA:It was reels, it was
EMMA:stories, it was carousels.
EMMA:It was behind the scenes.
EMMA:It was the wins, it
EMMA:was the momentum, and
EMMA:it looked effortless.
EMMA:I know it looked effortless on
EMMA:Instagram, but the emotional
EMMA:bandwidth to show up that
EMMA:consistently, it's real.
EMMA:On top of that, we
EMMA:layered paid ads for lead
EMMA:generation retargeting event
EMMA:ads, warm audience ads.
EMMA:It helped to build the
EMMA:momentum, but boy oh boy,
EMMA:did it add more pressure.
EMMA:You're starting to
EMMA:think, holy crap, I
EMMA:don't wanna do a launch.
EMMA:I ran Instagram lives.
EMMA:I did q and A sessions
EMMA:on Instagram lives.
EMMA:I did alumni chats
EMMA:on Instagram lives.
EMMA:I did mindset pieces,
EMMA:launch day lives, giveaway.
EMMA:Oh my goodness.
EMMA:I love this style of
EMMA:connecting, but it
EMMA:takes energy to be on
EMMA:again and again and again.
EMMA:I delivered master classes
EMMA:and workshops, tasters,
EMMA:live coaching group
EMMA:coaching, warmup events,
EMMA:every single one valuable.
EMMA:Each one adding to the
EMMA:load of all the things
EMMA:that we were doing.
EMMA:I had countless, I
EMMA:can't even tell you how
EMMA:many conversations I
EMMA:had behind the scenes.
EMMA:Voice notes, messages, text
EMMA:messages, clarity calls,
EMMA:helping women choose the
EMMA:right tier for where they're
EMMA:at, providing emotional
EMMA:support, guiding women who
EMMA:were a little bit scared
EMMA:or a little bit unsure.
EMMA:This is part of my magic but
EMMA:is the heavy lifting that
EMMA:most people never ever see.
EMMA:I don't think launching
EMMA:is feather faint-hearted.
EMMA:I honestly don't think, well,
EMMA:the way I did it, wasn't it?
EMMA:And could I have
EMMA:done things better?
EMMA:Maybe, but I need
EMMA:to tell you this.
EMMA:Everything that I've just
EMMA:spoken about, that all sat on
EMMA:top of my normal programming.
EMMA:I was still running
EMMA:the BD sprints.
EMMA:I was still running
EMMA:BD challenges.
EMMA:I was still running
EMMA:revenue raise.
EMMA:I still had my
EMMA:one-on-one clients.
EMMA:I was still podcasting.
EMMA:I was still managing
EMMA:my community.
EMMA:I was still prepping for
EMMA:Go-Getter day and I was
EMMA:still running events like
EMMA:dinner with the Queen.
EMMA:I know it's a lot.
EMMA:You can see launching did
EMMA:not replace my workload.
EMMA:It sat on top of it and by the
EMMA:end I knew it was too much.
EMMA:Not gonna lie, I had
EMMA:this 12 week stress.
EMMA:I'm like, I'm just gonna work
EMMA:really hard in these 12 weeks.
EMMA:And ladies, I'm a worker.
EMMA:So I'm not afraid
EMMA:of hard work.
EMMA:But this one.
EMMA:This one almost broke me.
EMMA:Here's the season
EMMA:that I was in.
EMMA:This is when life was
EMMA:happening super hard, and up
EMMA:until this point, I've not
EMMA:spoken openly about all these
EMMA:bits and pieces, but during
EMMA:those 12 weeks, life was
EMMA:certainly not gentle with me.
EMMA:I lost my 16-year-old
EMMA:dog dispen.
EMMA:I split my chin open and
EMMA:ended up in emergency.
EMMA:The day after I hosted a
EMMA:dinner for 30 women and
EMMA:the day after that I go
EMMA:get a day for 75 women,
EMMA:which was video grafted.
EMMA:I received a cancer diagnosis.
EMMA:I went through two surgeries.
EMMA:We had school holidays in
EMMA:the mix and I am currently
EMMA:navigating menopause and
EMMA:my own health journey.
EMMA:So when I say the runway felt
EMMA:heavy, please know, I mean it.
EMMA:Here I am.
EMMA:And here I stand.
EMMA:Incredibly proud of all the
EMMA:work that we have done in the
EMMA:moments I needed to show up.
EMMA:I did even when I was
EMMA:tired, even when I was
EMMA:emotional, even when I was
EMMA:stitched up, bandaged up,
EMMA:or recovering in some way, I
EMMA:showed up because this work
EMMA:matters to me and because
EMMA:the women in this community,
EMMA:they matter to me.
EMMA:It takes its toll and
EMMA:it did take its toll.
EMMA:This was not a breezy 12
EMMA:weeks where I was like, no.
EMMA:It was a season that stretched
EMMA:me, challenged me, and
EMMA:reminded me what resilience
EMMA:and grit actually looks like.
EMMA:Boy, oh boy.
EMMA:I wanna talk about the results
EMMA:because I feel like when
EMMA:you listen to a podcast like
EMMA:this, yes, it feels hard and.
EMMA:We are not always open and
EMMA:honest about the numbers,
EMMA:and so I'm going to crack
EMMA:the top off and just go, all
EMMA:right, here's the results.
EMMA:Right?
EMMA:Firstly, I do wanna say
EMMA:this, we did not hit the
EMMA:numbers that would have
EMMA:made the effort feel equal
EMMA:to the output, so from a
EMMA:conversion point of view, it
EMMA:was lighter than I had hoped.
EMMA:And after 12 weeks of buildup,
EMMA:that's been hard to sit
EMMA:with and hard to talk about.
EMMA:And you know what, the
EMMA:only reason I'm telling you
EMMA:this is because, you know,
EMMA:Brianna from Bambi, my, uh,
EMMA:podcasting guru is forcing
EMMA:me to talk about this because
EMMA:she also knows that women
EMMA:don't hear this enough.
EMMA:I want you to also know that
EMMA:this does not come from a
EMMA:place of a lack of gratitude.
EMMA:Please hear me very clearly.
EMMA:The women who have joined
EMMA:2026 are phenomenal.
EMMA:The community feels so
EMMA:aligned, strong, and ready
EMMA:for growth, so ready for
EMMA:growth that while I was
EMMA:doing this launch, knowing
EMMA:it was a long time between.
EMMA:2025 and 2026, I started
EMMA:a private newbie,
EMMA:Marco Polo group, and
EMMA:I've already started
EMMA:supporting those people
EMMA:because that is who I am.
EMMA:So just add that in, right?
EMMA:And this launch, this
EMMA:launch generated half a
EMMA:million dollars in revenue.
EMMA:And I don't tell
EMMA:you that to brag.
EMMA:I say it because from the
EMMA:outside, this launch looked
EMMA:like a huge success and
EMMA:people told me to be proud.
EMMA:And I am proud, no doubt,
EMMA:but I'm so desperate
EMMA:for more impact.
EMMA:I want more women
EMMA:making more money.
EMMA:I want bigger breakthroughs,
EMMA:more transformation,
EMMA:and deeper change.
EMMA:I want all the effort to
EMMA:translate into real shifts
EMMA:in women's lives and.
EMMA:I know it will.
EMMA:I trust the long game, but
EMMA:I am also honest enough
EMMA:to say it didn't land the
EMMA:way that I had imagined,
EMMA:and that is the truth.
EMMA:Here's what I learned and
EMMA:what I will change next time.
EMMA:This launch taught me so
EMMA:much about myself, about how
EMMA:hard I push myself, about my
EMMA:own expectations on my team,
EMMA:about my own expectations,
EMMA:on myself, all the things.
EMMA:But here's what it taught me.
EMMA:12 weeks, way too long.
EMMA:It was just too long to hold
EMMA:the entire energy of a launch.
EMMA:Women decide closer
EMMA:to the deadline?
EMMA:Not at the start.
EMMA:Oh, we just did my head in.
EMMA:I'm like, you can
EMMA:get all these bonuses
EMMA:if you sign up now.
EMMA:And they're like, well,
EMMA:just take our time.
EMMA:Take our time.
EMMA:the other thing I learned is
EMMA:I need to protect my energy
EMMA:much more intentionally.
EMMA:And so next year I'm hoping
EMMA:that we'll be able to go,
EMMA:okay, I am gonna carve out
EMMA:some time so that I'm not
EMMA:layering every single thing
EMMA:on top of the launch so
EMMA:that I actually have time
EMMA:in the launch to breathe.
EMMA:I think a shorter, sharper
EMMA:runway will serve us better.
EMMA:My health has always and
EMMA:has to always come first.
EMMA:If I don't have my health,
EMMA:I don't have anything else.
EMMA:We cannot pile a
EMMA:launch on top of a full
EMMA:programming load.
EMMA:Don't know why I thought
EMMA:that was a smart thing to do.
EMMA:Honestly, I've got no idea.
EMMA:I learned that grace
EMMA:is needed when life and
EMMA:business collide and grace
EMMA:for myself really, and this
EMMA:one won't surprise anyone.
EMMA:I'm much stronger.
EMMA:I'm more resilient than
EMMA:I give myself credit for.
EMMA:March, March stronger, and
EMMA:I have to celebrate that.
EMMA:And these experience will
EMMA:absolutely shape how we launch
EMMA:thriving women in the future.
EMMA:More simplicity, shorter
EMMA:timeframes, less overwhelm,
EMMA:and more humanness.
EMMA:Although I feel like I'm
EMMA:pretty human already,
EMMA:let's be honest.
EMMA:Yeah.
EMMA:So if you are listening
EMMA:to this and thinking, oh,
EMMA:Emma, I feel you, please
EMMA:know that you are not alone.
EMMA:Launching is not linear.
EMMA:Oh my goodness.
EMMA:I wish it was.
EMMA:Maybe I could make
EMMA:it linear anyway.
EMMA:Life does not stop for
EMMA:business, and sometimes you're
EMMA:doing the most important work
EMMA:of your life while carrying
EMMA:things that no one else sees.
EMMA:And you can still build
EMMA:something beautiful in
EMMA:the middle of the messy
EMMA:season, you can still grow
EMMA:with limited capacity.
EMMA:You can still move forward
EMMA:even when life is heavy, and
EMMA:maybe that might be what life
EMMA:is reminding you about too.
EMMA:If you are in a season that
EMMA:feels full and you still
EMMA:wanna grow your business.
EMMA:I'm your girl, don't you
EMMA:think I am your girl?
EMMA:To give you the support
EMMA:one-on-one, because
EMMA:when we work together,
EMMA:we look at everything.
EMMA:We look at the energy, we
EMMA:look at the goals, we look at
EMMA:your health, we look at your
EMMA:business model, we look at
EMMA:your habits, and we look at
EMMA:your capacity in the season
EMMA:that you're currently in.
EMMA:And we create something
EMMA:sustainable and something
EMMA:strong, something that
EMMA:gives, that supports the
EMMA:life you want, not the life
EMMA:you feel pressured to live.
EMMA:Can I say that again?
EMMA:Just so that you've
EMMA:heard me really clearly.
EMMA:Something that supports
EMMA:the life you want,
EMMA:not the life you feel
EMMA:pressured to live.
EMMA:Make no mistake, ladies,
EMMA:this is the life I want.
EMMA:Absolutely.
EMMA:And therefore I was
EMMA:willing to do what it took.
EMMA:And I'm a slow
EMMA:learner sometimes.
EMMA:We all know that from the
EMMA:stories that I've told
EMMA:this year, and so sometimes
EMMA:it takes me a little
EMMA:bit of time to work out.
EMMA:Yeah.
EMMA:Probably shouldn't
EMMA:have done that.
EMMA:So if you want that kind
EMMA:of support, please reach
EMMA:out through my website.
EMMA:I'd love to walk beside you.
EMMA:Thank you for listening
EMMA:to this episode of
EMMA:Behind the Scenes.
EMMA:I hope that it gives you
EMMA:some little nuggets of
EMMA:what not to do and maybe
EMMA:an idea of what you need
EMMA:to do when you launch.
EMMA:I
