# TLBMW - EP 74

[00:00:00] Dana Stanley: This is the episode I actually promised at the end of episode 61, which was all about how I was sketching our summer trip to Disney World. I said I'd keep you posted as I filled in my plans with dining and Lightning Lanes, and a little bit more of our goals of the trip. And now, the trip has been officially filled in

[00:00:37] Dana Stanley: So if you wanna think of episode 61 as the pencil sketch, this is the painted version, the actual day-by-day plan with all of the things locked in, because we are leaving tomorrow. So these are the plans

[00:00:56] Dana Stanley: So before I did any of this, I did a lot more work upfront with our park days penciled in based on crowd calendars. I had my priorities listed in my journal, but nothing was booked. So I'm excited to walk you through kind of the finished itinerary, but more importantly, how each decision got made and why So I'm gonna go over the final park order, a little bit of our Lightning Lane strategy, including one that's based on sellout data that I think might surprise some people.

[00:01:37] Dana Stanley: Every dining reservation we booked And some random little neurotic plans that I have for the week that we're going. If you haven't heard episode 61 yet

[00:01:56] Dana Stanley: I'd go back and listen to that, 'cause that's kind of the before picture, and this is the after

[00:02:07] Dana Stanley: So a quick recap of some of the non-negotiables from my sketch that I made because they were the reason behind everything in my itinerary was pool time, to be somewhere inside from 2:00 to 4:00, prioritizing sit-down lunches in air conditioning fireworks as being a number one must-do and the cool kid summer stuff that's happening throughout the summer

[00:02:43] Dana Stanley: What the crowd calendar decided for me was our first park day would be Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom the day after, even though the normal instinct would be to start in Magic Kingdom since we're right there on the monorail loop at Grand Floridian

[00:03:03] Dana Stanley: But another reason that Magic Kingdom isn't first is more of a Lightning Lane strategy. Because the farther a park day is from your booking window, the better I know my odds are for getting a hard-to-get Lightning Lane ride

[00:03:23] Dana Stanley: And I'm not going to teach about lightning lanes too much here. I will leave a link for my lightning lane toolkit down in the show notes where we go more into this and

[00:03:41] Dana Stanley: Little things that you can be ninja about to get more lightning lanes, better lightning lanes, and avoid waiting in long lines

[00:03:56] Dana Stanley: Another key point of, like, looking at the whole week at a glance is that on arrival day, we're not going to the park

[00:04:10] Dana Stanley: So it's Hollywood Studios Wednesday, Magic Kingdom Thursday, Animal Kingdom Friday with a Magic Kingdom evening, Epcot on Saturday, and then we leave on Sunday. So no park when we get there and no park when we fly home

[00:04:39] Dana Stanley: And you may be wondering, "Dana, why aren't you doing a rest day?" And that's for a few reasons. For number one, it's not that long of a trip to have a rest day in the middle. Number two is we have park hoppers, which just makes it a little bit easier. So that third morning that we're there, we're starting in Animal Kingdom.

[00:05:01] Dana Stanley: I'm treating that almost as a rest day because it's going to be a very chill morning. Then we will hang back at the pool or the resort before going back into Magic Kingdom. So just having a hopper makes it a little bit easier

[00:05:22] Dana Stanley: And the third is that I'm not going super hard for really any of the days of the trip. We have a lot to get done, but I've worked in little pockets of breathing room that I don't think we're going to need one long rest day, 'cause there's gonna be little pockets of rest

[00:05:47] Dana Stanley: So then for each park day, I have my Lightning Lanes planned out, but as I'm recording this, I have not officially booked them yet. I, and not to sound cocky, but I typically get the Lightning Lanes that I go for, at least in the ballpark of the time that I want But I am going to nerd out just a little bit here to explain to you exactly

[00:06:25] Dana Stanley: But I am going to nerd out a little bit. If you're inside Lead Back Magic, you already heard this on our live planning call of my strategy here, of the big one was that we are pre-booking Big Thunder Mountain. It's been recently renovated All of us wanna ride it. My five-year-old is tall enough and has not been on it before because it was closed on our last trip But another ride that has recently reopened and renovated is Rock 'n' Roller Coaster over in Hollywood Studios.

[00:06:55] Dana Stanley: It's been re-themed to Muppets

[00:07:09] Dana Stanley: Now, I know from looking at the data that Big Thunder Mountain Even though that reopened first, its Lightning Lanes have been consistently selling out slash hard times to get that aren't like super late in the evening

[00:07:32] Dana Stanley: So I am locking that down the second that my Lightning Lane window opens. I was strategic about even the time and the day that I want Big Thunder Mountain. I also really wanted a Lightning Lane for this in case it goes down. I didn't wanna risk just waiting standby for it, and

[00:07:54] Dana Stanley: and it going down. I have to wait for it to come back up. A latent lane j- just protects me of that Colton and I both really want to ride Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, but this has not been selling out. So I don't want to spend a pre-booking Lightning Lane slot on it My plan is to get it the day of my park day.

[00:08:24] Dana Stanley: For Wednesday, as soon as I scan into my first Lightning Lane, I will be grabbing Rock 'n' Roller Coaster

[00:08:34] Dana Stanley: So I have two chances of us riding this because it is a priority. First is to ride it first thing in the morning during early entry, and we would be using Rider Switch for that. So while one of us gets waffles for the kids, the other one will ride, and then we'll switch off. Now, I have been doing Disney long enough that I know to not rely on that with three kids Someone could get sick.

[00:09:05] Dana Stanley: We could have a late night the night before. Uh, we could have a slow morning. The bus could break down. Anything could happen. Rock 'n' Roller Coaster could be down and have a delayed opening. I am not relying that. If it happens, great, wonderful. But my plan is to scan into my first pre-booked Lightning Lane first thing in the morning, and then book Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, and we can either ride it on the way out or we can ride it after coming back from our break

[00:09:35] Dana Stanley: This is a reminder that while yes, if you have something on your must-do, you should prioritize that as a lightning lane, it doesn't always 100% of the time need to be a pre-booked lightning lane. It's really about booking the things that the data says will be gone, and then seeing if everything else could maybe be day of

[00:10:06] Dana Stanley: I was also very strategic about the Big Thunder placement, and I started touching on this before, but it's actually towards the end of our trip where my booking odds are the best, and it's also in the evening in Magic Kingdom where my booking odds are going to be best

[00:10:25] Dana Stanley: I'm going to be going over my actual day-by-day plans in just a second but I do wanna mention while I'm talking about Lightning Lanes that I will be grabbing a few single passes

[00:10:53] Dana Stanley: Some of our favorite rides are unfortunately single passes that you have to pay indi- individually for, but I do think they're worth it just so that we can avoid the line. I don't have to get to the park at, you know, 6:30 in the morning to rope drop it. If it goes down, I'm not worried about it

[00:11:14] Dana Stanley: And yes, all of this is extra money, but if you listen to my trade-off episode, you know that it is 100% worth it for me and my family

[00:11:31] Dana Stanley: So let's break it down day by day. So we have day one, our arrival day, no park. I have yet to book a flight. Don't judge me. So I actually don't know what time we're flying in, but most likely it's going to be a very early flight. We'll probably get in around 9:00 or 10:00 AM before checking in at the Grand Floridian, which is a bucket list resort for us.

[00:12:01] Dana Stanley: It's finally happening. I can't believe it's so close. Very excited about actually sleeping there and not just visiting so many times and saying that I want to stay there

[00:12:15] Dana Stanley: What's even better is this stay is in collaboration with DVC Rental Store They are the reason that we are able to stay deluxe and stay in bigger rooms sometimes is because we save so much money by renting DVC points instead of booking directly through Disney. If you see us in Disney World, nine times out of 10, we are staying there using points, renting points to save money

[00:12:50] Dana Stanley: I'm going to be doing a full episode on what that even means. It's the thing that I get asked most about, so stay tuned for a DVC episode. But just know for now that we are very excited As soon as we get to the Grand Floridian, we are going straight to the pool. Not going to the park. I don't have lunch reservations No pressure to really do anything except explore the pool

[00:13:24] Dana Stanley: Sometimes, not always, I take an arrival day as our nice dinner reservation. I did this on our last trip, and because I have a two-year-old, I'm avoiding it this time because it kinda backfired on me last time. Usually it's lovely, and if I were going to recommend it to you and you don't have a two-year-old, I would say that arrival day is an awesome time to have, like, a nice early dinner.

[00:13:53] Dana Stanley: But our poor baby guy was so, so tired on our last trip because we had an early flight. He didn't take a solid nap, and he was not having a good time at dinner, which made me not have a good time at dinner. So for this arrival day, I think we're just gonna grab something quick. We might eat it by the pool.

[00:14:11] Dana Stanley: We might eat it in the room while I unpack and get to bed early

[00:14:21] Dana Stanley: Day two is our Hollywood Studios day, so we are going to be taking the bus to Hollywood Studios. I am not getting there super early. Gonna see what time my kids wake up, how we're all feeling. My goal is to just make it to my first Lightning Lane of the day when it opens. If we do get there for early entry, wonderful.

[00:14:45] Dana Stanley: We're gonna try to ride Rock 'n' Roller Coaster But after scanning into our first Lightning Lane

[00:14:58] Dana Stanley: which I'm hoping is Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway. I'll try to grab a Rock 'n' Roller Coaster as a backup. And from there, one of our must-dos is, is the new Mickey Mouse Clubhouse dance party

[00:15:17] Dana Stanley: and the new animation courtyard. I wanna try to do this in the morning because a lot of these things and shows and cool kids summer things, they can end early, like maybe around 4:30

[00:15:36] Dana Stanley: I'm not necessarily planning on going back to Hollywood Studios in the evening. We have things that we really wanna get to, but it's not everything

[00:15:58] Dana Stanley: But we have to do Toy Story Mania, and I'm hoping that my son is tall enough for Alien Swirling Saucers

[00:16:10] Dana Stanley: Fingers crossed If not, he's going to be very, very close. So we'll see

[00:16:18] Dana Stanley: For lunch, I'm planning on going to Docking Bay 7, which is in Galaxy's Edge, which will pair nicely with my single pass for Rise of the Resistance around like 12:30-ish And after that, I have a feeling that my son is gonna fall asleep in the stroller and ruin the nap back at the resort plan, but maybe not Kids change so much from month to month, so I'm truly just have no idea, and I'm leaving that open for whatever happens, happens.

[00:16:54] Dana Stanley: The only thing that we have absolutely planned is a 5:30 dinner at Citricos back at the Grand Floridian. This is one of my favorite restaurants. We haven't been in a while. I almost booked this for arrival day, but we arrive on a Tuesday, and Citricos is not open on Mondays and Tuesdays, just FYI. Things to make sure you look at.

[00:17:21] Dana Stanley: This is also an extended evening hours at Magic Kingdom, which we are eligible for staying at

[00:17:27] Dana Stanley: a deluxe resort. I have that kind of, I don't even wanna say penciled in. It's more of a dusting of pencil of a note of like, if for some weird, magical, strange reason we were feeling it, um, we could go into Magic Kingdom, 'cause we can pop over so easily But I have a feeling we're just gonna be in bed, to be honest

[00:18:10] Dana Stanley: Day three is really all shaped around the fireworks and being up really late. So day three, we are sleeping in. I'm not going to set an alarm. I'm gonna do a really easy breakfast at the resort, maybe mobile order, eat it back at the room. We can do the pool all morning, and my two-year-old has to nap. So, like, everything's kind of based around wearing him out at the pool.

[00:18:41] Dana Stanley: He'll get a nap back at the room so that he's 100%... He's 100% well-rested to stay up late for the fireworks But what I did for this day is I booked an 11:35 afternoon tea with only one of my daughters who is actually into it. My oldest one didn't wanna go So my littlest and my oldest will get some extra time at the pool with dad while I take Sailor one-on-one to have tea

[00:19:20] Dana Stanley: And I really like that we're doing this, like, special one-on-one thing kind of inside of that, like, rest, sleepy morning nap day. It's not costing us any park time at all, and no one's really gonna feel like they're missing out on anything

[00:19:44] Dana Stanley: After Crew's nap, we will be getting something for dinner. I do not have this booked, but I'm hoping to get a reservation at Wahlulu Grill before we head over to Magic Kingdom. Because we're staying DVC, the building that we're in is actually very close to the Polynesian tower. So even if we don't have a reservation, my plan is to just go a little early and see if it happens

[00:20:23] Dana Stanley: before heading over to Magic Kingdom for a fireworks dessert party. There is a separate package that you can buy in Magic Kingdom with special viewing of the fireworks, and you get dessert. You can either have dessert before the fireworks, after the fireworks, or sitting down during the fireworks, which is a little bit of a further away viewing area than the other two, but you get to sit the whole time.

[00:20:53] Dana Stanley: I'm gonna leave a link in the show notes all about dessert parties, if it's worth it, my review of it. We prefer the pre-dessert... We prefer the pre-party, meaning we get dessert before the fireworks, and then when they're done, we can peace on out of there, probably walk just back to Magic Kingdom

[00:21:23] Dana Stanley: We will also be watching the Starlight Parade in Magic Kingdom before the fireworks, before the fireworks. And I have a little bit of a plan for this that I'm not gonna cover too much just because I need to do it and see if it works, if I like it, with the dessert party pairing and checking in and all of the viewing options.

[00:21:48] Dana Stanley: So I will report back in another episode after our trip of how this all actually went One of the reasons why I might be either walking back to Grand Floridian or taking a boat back to Grand Floridian is I have a little bit of an irrational fear, and this won't surprise you if you've been listening to the podcast for a while and you've listened to my Skyliner episode

[00:22:16] Dana Stanley: But I have an irrational fear of the monorail stopping with us on it, and it seems like it stops more when it's very, very hot, which is exactly what July in the afternoon is. So for any day that we're popping in and out of Magic Kingdom, I think my plan is in the mornings to take the monorail or the late evenings to take the monorail.

[00:22:44] Dana Stanley: But if it's the middle of the afternoon, I'm probably going to be taking the boat. My husband does not agree with me at all with this, but again, irrational fear. That's my plan. I'm just letting you know

[00:23:10] Dana Stanley: The following day, because we had such a late night with the fireworks

[00:23:20] Dana Stanley: Just the thought of being stuck on the monorail, like a hot monorail with a two-year-old, I just really think the boat sounds lovely, or walking, worst case scenario. So because that's such a late night with the fireworks, the next morning we are going to sleep in a little bit and just kind of get up when we get up and head to Animal Kingdom on the bus.

[00:23:50] Dana Stanley: Now, we're not doing a lot in Animal Kingdom. I'm not going to be booking Lightning Lane Multi Pass. The only thing that I'm going to be buying is a single pass for Flight of Passage For us and the bigger kids, we love that ride. We cannot miss it, but no MultiPass because I want to actually pre-book Because I actually want to pre-book things in Magic Kingdom for when we go back at night and hop So we're gonna get to Animal Kingdom and go straight to Bluey's Wild World.

[00:24:30] Dana Stanley: It's a Bluey and Bingo experience, I wanna call it

[00:24:38] Dana Stanley: This is, this is the biggest thing that I need to give feedback on for my members that I've been getting asked about, and the priority for my kids, who I think will love it. Again, I will report back in another episode. And I hate to say I wanna get this over with, but I want to prioritize this in the morning It's not something that's going to be an in and out super quick thing.

[00:25:08] Dana Stanley: And the waits have been better in the morning, so I just wanna do that first thing. We'll do Flight of Passage around lunchtime because I love all of the food options around that way

[00:25:23] Dana Stanley: before heading back to the resort for a break. Then I can use my pre-booked Lightning Lanes that, again, are not booked yet, but my plan is a Pirates Lightning Lane, which will pair perfectly for Beak and Barrel at 4:30. This is a Pirates of the Caribbean-themed lounge. I'm just treating this as kind of a snack because after that, I will have my headliner Lightning Lane booking of Big Thunder Mountain, and after we ride that, we can pop over to Pecos Bill's for dinner, which is one of the...

[00:26:03] Dana Stanley: Which is the one, like, quick service that I don't absolutely hate in Magic Kingdom

[00:26:11] Dana Stanley: And then we will peace out

[00:26:23] Dana Stanley: I forgot to mention earlier that before the fireworks, I'm going to be watching the wait time for Buzz Lightyear. If it's not too long, that's a perfect time to ride Buzz Lightyear right before the fireworks 'cause it's right by where you check into the dessert party If we don't ride it that night, I'm gonna try to grab it as a day of Lightning Lane after we scan into Parks of the Caribbean

[00:26:50] Dana Stanley: And this is all a perfect example of what a trip looks like when you are not trying to maximize. I know that we could be doing so much more, and I know that we will get to do so much more because I'm leaving a lot of this open If something has a low wait, we can hop in line. If one of the kids decides, "Hey, I actually do wanna try that ride," or, "I do wanna meet that character," or maybe the opposite, maybe they are freaked out by things that I didn't think they'd be freaked out about, it's not that big of a deal

[00:27:34] Dana Stanley: Our last day in the parks is kind of the only early morning of the trip. I would like to be out the door on the early side

[00:27:46] Dana Stanley: And that's because with our pre-booked Lightning Lanes for Epcot I'm most likely not going to be able to get a Lightning Lane for Frozen Ever After. I might. Again, I like having backups for things that I know we really wanna do So my plan is to get to Epcot for early entry and head straight to Frozen.

[00:28:13] Dana Stanley: Hopefully it's running. If it's not running, again, I'll try to get a Lightning Lane for it later

[00:28:25] Dana Stanley: followed by meeting Anna and Elsa. This is something that I can't get a Lightning Lane for. It's not open during early entry

[00:28:37] Dana Stanley: It's not open during early entry, and it's something that actually my two-year-old son really wants to do. He keeps saying that he wants to show Elsa his trucks, and he likes to sing Let It Go. Even though he never asks to watch the movie, he really likes that song. He keeps saying he wants to meet Elsa.

[00:28:58] Dana Stanley: And I have to remember and, like, put a mental note on my schedule, like, remember to bring a truck so that he can show Elsa

[00:29:10] Dana Stanley: I know that this is gonna be a really cool duo if it all works out in my head the way that I have it planned of writing Frozen and then meeting Anna and Elsa.

[00:29:24] Dana Stanley: And hopefully that works because the Lightning Lanes that I wanna pre-book are Test Track. My girls are really excited to ride that, and it is a hard one to get Along with a pre-booked single pass for Guardians of the Galaxy. I like doing this around a lunchtime when it's super hot, because if you have my Epcot guide, you know there's an indoor playground really close by that I like to take the kids to while I'm waiting for Colton to ride Guardians and vice versa.

[00:29:56] Dana Stanley: It's also a good time to be in air conditioning and feeding the kids lunch while another parent gets a head start

[00:30:05] Dana Stanley: After lunch, I'm kinda keeping it open. It really just depends on how everyone's feeling. We could go back to the room and take a break. Um, my son could maybe take a stroller nap

[00:30:25] Dana Stanley: But regardless of what we do in the afternoon, I have a dinner reservation at Chefs de France at 5:00, which is on the earlier side, because I have a feeling little Crew-boo, after meeting Elsa, is gonna be pretty tuckered out and end up falling asleep in the stroller before we have the chance to go back to the Grand Floridian.

[00:30:49] Dana Stanley: So I wanted to do something a little earlier, that way we're not waiting around for dinner Followed by a Lightning Lane for Remy's Ratatouille Adventure. This is something that I'm being strategic about and not making any promises to anyone because it is a difficult Lightning Lane to get day of, but it's easier than getting Frozen

[00:31:22] Dana Stanley: Inside of my Lightning Lane toolkit, I have everything listed by what's included for each park, which rides have Lightning Lanes, how many of each category of Lightning Lanes you are able to pre-book, which ones are harder to get than others, how to read the data before your trip so that you can spend maybe 20 to 30 minutes of planning before the trip, knowing how Lightning Lanes work so you're not wasting your money like a lot of people do, so that when you have a trip like mine, you have already done the thinking and the thought process and all of the prep work so that once you're there in the parks, nothing feels like a big deal.

[00:32:07] Dana Stanley: Nothing feels like an emergency because you're not waiting in those long lines

[00:32:19] Dana Stanley: This is the day before we go home at this point, so I can see me going one of two ways, because I know myself a little bit too well. On one hand, I'm going to be anxious to get back to the room and start packing to go home. Or I'm vibing, because I had dinner at Chefs de France. I rode Remy's. I grabbed a glass of champagne, and Crew took a nap in the stroller, and everybody's just having a great old time.

[00:32:54] Dana Stanley: I have it penciled in that because we're in France and Epcot, which is near the back entrance of Epcot. Yes, Epcot has two entrances, two exits. We can walk through the International Gateway And walk on the boardwalk, which is my favorite place to be. We might be missing it since we're not staying there, and we could maybe get a slice of cake at Cake Bake Shop.

[00:33:23] Dana Stanley: We could do a little shopping, have the kids run around, just see the boardwalk at night If we do that and we're going from the Boardwalk to the Grand Floridian, I'm not going to be, like, walking back to Epcot or taking a... Or doing anything convoluted to go back to the Grand Floridian because there are no resort-to-resort buses.

[00:33:50] Dana Stanley: I'm 99% sure we would just call a minivan So a MinnieVan, spelled M-I-N-N-I-E, cute is booked through the Lyft app And what's nice about minivans versus an Uber or a regular Lyft, which we have been known to do many, many times, is that you're guaranteed two car seats, and they're driven by Disney employees, Disney cast members.

[00:34:22] Dana Stanley: They have Disney cartoons on. Um, the van looks like Minnie Mouse, so it's just a little bit more exciting. If I went this route, it would be like the last hurrah, and I would be okay splurging with a minivan, which costs a little bit more than a regular Uber

[00:34:52] Dana Stanley: If you're planning for Disney and you haven't thought through the transportation yet, make sure that you are aware of how everything is positioned. You can literally go on Google Maps and type in two points and just see how far away they are from each other, if you can walk, if there's a boat, if there's a monorail

[00:35:18] Dana Stanley: If you're a member already, print out the maps that I have in the transportation guide. Whatever you need to do, just think about it ahead of time Because people will underestimate how big of a deal that is in Disney World and how big Disney World is. They just think, "Oh, I'll just go from here to there."

[00:35:37] Dana Stanley: It's not always that simple, but it can be easy if you just think about it ahead of time

[00:35:52] Dana Stanley: And then day six, Sunday, is our departure day, and I do not have a flight home. And the reason why we haven't booked anything is the flight that we want to book would be a 9:00 PM flight home. And, and at first I was like, "No way, Jose," but I'm kind of leaning towards doing it and just if it's a really trash night, at least we're going home.

[00:36:21] Dana Stanley: Like, I feel like if anything's gonna go wrong, you want it to just be right before you're in your own car and sleeping in your own bed and not on the way to vacation

[00:36:34] Dana Stanley: So this is the day that's still up in the air, and I might have to go back and think through things, 'cause I mean, technically we could go to a park if we had a 9:00 PM flight. But I have done this one other time before where we went into a park on a departure day, and I didn't love it. I'm not saying that I wouldn't do it again, um, but it wasn't my favorite thing, 'cause all I, all I could think about was going home

[00:37:09] Dana Stanley: But I would for sure have a very slow morning. Um, if we do leave at 9:00 PM, one of the good things is I don't have to rush back the day before to pack. I could do all of my packing Sunday morning. Um, we could get lunch at Wailulu Grill. I actually do have that booked. I have an 11 o'clock lunch at Wailulu I figured if something changes, I could cancel it.

[00:37:34] Dana Stanley: I thought it'd be nice to have before we fly home But that's something I'm gonna have to cover in the follow-up episode of what we actually ended up doing, because I'm not actually sure what our departure day is going to look like

[00:37:59] Dana Stanley: Those are all of my plans, but I can tell you the things that I don't have planned. So I do not have any water parks planned. I do not have Disney Springs planned. That could be a potential thing that we could do the day we go home, but

[00:38:19] Dana Stanley: But on a Sunday, I probably will end up skipping it as well We are not doing any rope dropping. We have one early entry morning that, that I will categorize as like a laid back rope drop, but not a true, you know, head to the parks at 6:00 AM, be first in line at the gate

[00:38:50] Dana Stanley: We have two no park days of arrival and departure out of the six

[00:38:59] Dana Stanley: I know this itinerary looks very full because it ended up being a lot of me talking and explaining. But I want you to notice that every day has a built-in break and a lot of room for, "Eh, we'll see what happens." There was a ton of strategy and thought behind what parks for each day, when should I place my Lightning Lanes, what time should our dining reservations be, what are our absolute must-dos?

[00:39:31] Dana Stanley: If there is a ride that is new, when is the best time to ride it to give us the best chance without stressing ourselves out?

[00:39:43] Dana Stanley: And that's the part that I want you to copy. And not the exact plan of what we're doing, but the thought process and the system that I'm using, that's the part that you can copy for a laid back Disney trip

[00:40:03] Dana Stanley: This is very much a pre-trip report, the plan as it stands. And I think the most fun part will be the post-trip report. Um, I don't know if I'll do it like park by park maybe. You can DM me on Instagram and let me know. I've done past episodes where I did like plan versus reality, like here was my plan and this is what it actually ended up being, and I did a full day in Magic Kingdom.

[00:40:34] Dana Stanley: So I could do that again of this was the plan for Epcot, and this is what it actually looked like. Here are the things that went wrong And then I could tell if anything was a great idea or like a big, big mistake.

[00:40:56] Dana Stanley: If you're planning your own summer trip, I highly recommend the sketching episode, plus my Laid Back Magic journal, which is free and linked in the show notes for you Also my Lightning Lane toolkit, which covers how to read the data that I'm talking about. Or if you want all of the things, join Laid Back Magic, which also comes with support from me so I can help you make decisions for your specific trip

[00:41:35] Dana Stanley: Thanks for listening, and I'll see you next week
