Speaker:

Hi, this is Mike Crow and I run a home inspection business.

Speaker:

In fact, I've run a couple of home inspection businesses.

Speaker:

You true joy for me though, has been helping literally thousands of

Speaker:

home inspectors build really solid home inspection business as well.

Speaker:

We can help a single man operation be able to do over $300,000 a year.

Speaker:

Maybe all the way up to $400,000 a year as a single inspector.

Speaker:

Even better for me is the 80 plus companies that we have helped

Speaker:

be able to build million dollar home inspection businesses.

Speaker:

I would like to help you be able to do the same thing

Speaker:

as a business owner, you might know how much your family relies on

Speaker:

you, but are you aware of how much you can be affecting the world?

Speaker:

Mike knows how powerful you could be and spoke about this a few years ago.

Speaker:

we hope you enjoy this segment and if you have any questions, feel free to email

Speaker:

us at, hello at coach blueprint.com.

Speaker:

a few men will build cities.

Speaker:

The rest of them will live in them.

Speaker:

I'm going to tell you something, listen very carefully.

Speaker:

You are the city builders and other people will live in them.

Speaker:

Okay?

Speaker:

This information is for the few who are going to accomplish things.

Speaker:

You are the leaders, you are the shepherds, not only of this industry,

Speaker:

but at the rest of the world.

Speaker:

So do me a favor, close your eyes, and I'm going to read a line and then

Speaker:

I want you to say it back out loud.

Speaker:

So close your eyes and I can see you so close your eyes.

Speaker:

I'm going to read the line and then I want you to say it back.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

I am one of the few.

Speaker:

I have a leader's opportunity.

Speaker:

I have a Shepherd's responsibility.

Speaker:

The rest are dependent upon me.

Speaker:

Thank you very much.

Speaker:

I want you to understand how powerful you are.

Speaker:

The 95%.

Speaker:

I was, I was so blown away because in the book he shows 95% are content to plateau.

Speaker:

4% reach this leadership level.

Speaker:

1% will reach the top.

Speaker:

I want you to understand you are the 1% you are the 1% in this industry, this

Speaker:

profession, and in the world, you get to make the choice if you want to stay there.

Speaker:

And if you're willing to do what it takes to get there.

Speaker:

So the watch into the deep, you need to understand that the 95% of people out

Speaker:

there, the 95%, the reason they stay in the 95% is because they see the obstacles.

Speaker:

And I get those phone calls.

Speaker:

Mike, I'm too busy.

Speaker:

I can't afford to come.

Speaker:

I will cost me $3,000 in lost inspections.

Speaker:

You understand?

Speaker:

Right?

Speaker:

I understand more than you can possibly imagine.

Speaker:

And I'm going to tell you, you're making the wrong decision, but I understand that

Speaker:

that's what you're doing because your wife tells you, that's what you need to do.

Speaker:

And I'm going to tell you the, I understand because that's

Speaker:

what you think you need.

Speaker:

Even though a year ago, you told me all you needed was five inspections on

Speaker:

average, a week to have a great life.

Speaker:

But now somehow if you lose 10, 15 inspections to be here,

Speaker:

your life will be ruined.

Speaker:

I don't.

Speaker:

You know, one of the things I love about one of our coaches is that he tells

Speaker:

teach people that there are results or there are excuses, the 95% make excuses.

Speaker:

Every single day.

Speaker:

They see the obstacles, the 4% and the 1% they see the objective, they

Speaker:

see where they're going to, . So is human to put things off.

Speaker:

I'm going to tell you it's divine.

Speaker:

It's spirit.

Speaker:

I know that some of you thought maybe I was joking yesterday, but

Speaker:

I will tell you I'm a little tired, not right now, but coming into

Speaker:

this week, I was a little tired.

Speaker:

I was a little worried.

Speaker:

I would not have the energy to do four days of this.

Speaker:

And then something, something snapped into me on Sunday.

Speaker:

And I walked around with more energy, more pep, more enthusiasm

Speaker:

than I've had in months.

Speaker:

And by the way, when I was in inspection world at ashy, the same

Speaker:

thing happened and I realized I was being filled by the holy spirit.

Speaker:

I am here to change your life.

Speaker:

I am here to give you the opportunity to change your life.

Speaker:

You can have results or you can make.

Speaker:

It's your choice.

Speaker:

So let's get started this week.

Speaker:

Many good people are good starters, but very poor finishers.

Speaker:

One of the things my dad told me that I loved was sign.

Speaker:

You have to have strong follow-through.

Speaker:

You have to finish.

Speaker:

The streets are full of people who started out, but they fell by the wayside.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

So winners show up early losers, leave early.

Speaker:

You need to know that I'm brutal about it on main about it.

Speaker:

People, people give me a little hard time about it, and I'm sorry that

Speaker:

I offend somebody, but I'm going to tell you one of the things my dad

Speaker:

taught me was winners show up early.

Speaker:

Losers, leave early.

Speaker:

When I had a job, I showed up early and I was the last guy out of the store

Speaker:

that night, if I possibly could be.

Speaker:

And it's brutal, but sometimes success in life is brutal.

Speaker:

Question is can you handle it?

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

So the fact is that hearing, I'm going to tell you that you belong in the 5%

Speaker:

you belong, probably in that 1%, the first arrow is your physical energy.

Speaker:

What level of energy are you willing to put into something your second arrow,

Speaker:

your second arrow is your brainpower.

Speaker:

Are you going to do something to cause your brain to think instead of

Speaker:

just moving automatic movement along the drifting of the 95, your third

Speaker:

arrow, your third arrow is are you willing to have a winsome personality?

Speaker:

. Your fourth arrow comes with spirit it's truth.

Speaker:

It's honesty, it's purity at its base.

Speaker:

And it's so important.

Speaker:

So I want you to understand there's Niagara falls and you can launch it into

Speaker:

the deep and yet I have people all the time that will tell me I, yeah, I'll

Speaker:

take a cup full of that, a cup full and I go, oh yeah, well maybe you're right.

Speaker:

Maybe I only need a thimble full, wrong direction, wrong direction,

Speaker:

power beyond imagination.

Speaker:

Will you take a cup full or a thimbleful or will you embrace everything it has

Speaker:

to offer and let it be the powerful enough to serve not only you and

Speaker:

your family and your extended family and your, and your associates.

Speaker:

It's important.

Speaker:

You know, I kind of a little joke here and I see this in our community.

Speaker:

There was a pastor.

Speaker:

How many people know Joel Olsteen every now and then when I'm not feeling

Speaker:

quite up to my snuff, I don't know.

Speaker:

I think Susan reprogram my TV, but I turn it on and it comes up to

Speaker:

the, uh, the religious channel now.

Speaker:

And so anyway, I got in bed one night and I was a little bit disappointed

Speaker:

and some people had lived up what they told me they would do.

Speaker:

And I turned it on and there was Joel Olsteen talking.

Speaker:

And normally I would just flip around, but he was talking and he was talking

Speaker:

about his kids that caught my attention.

Speaker:

He said, my daughter, he said, I want you to know how powerful it is

Speaker:

to have somebody take care of you.

Speaker:

My daughter walked into the ice cream shop.

Speaker:

I bought her a scoop of ice cream.

Speaker:

I think she's four years old or something.

Speaker:

And she walked out and there were a bunch of kids playing around.

Speaker:

And by the way, if you're a PA, how many people were parents going to

Speaker:

see a show of hands for the parents will understand this even better.

Speaker:

So she walked out and there were a bunch of people in there with

Speaker:

a little rowdy boy, and he bumped into her and spilled her ice cream.

Speaker:

And then he made fun of her.

Speaker:

You lost your ice cream.

Speaker:

It's so bad.

Speaker:

Oh my gosh.

Speaker:

I still have mine now as a parent, I might've just knocked him upside the head.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

But the little girl, instead of crying, instead of getting

Speaker:

mad, she went up to her daddy.

Speaker:

She went up to Joel and said, I lost my.

Speaker:

And he said, I saw, and he walked her back into the store and bought her not one,

Speaker:

not two but three scoops of ice cream.

Speaker:

Now isn't that the kind of people you want around you when you're

Speaker:

struggling, when life knocks your ice cream out of your hand,
