Welcome to Krystal Rowe Impact, a space dedicated to
Speaker:empowering you to be the change that your bloodline has been waiting
Speaker:for. Join me and together, let's inspire change. Kia
Speaker:ora whanau and welcome to the Krystal Rowe Impact podcast.
Speaker:Today, we're going to talk about legacy building and
Speaker:the power to shape the future for yourself, for
Speaker:your children and all the generations to come. And
Speaker:I'm so excited about this topic. It's really something
Speaker:that empowers me to grow
Speaker:more and to get the confidence to make the change for
Speaker:my children so that I know that they're going to live in
Speaker:a world that is for them and not against them. And
Speaker:my starting point for that is that it always
Speaker:starts in the home. Mother Teresa says, if you want
Speaker:to change the world, go home and love your family. And
Speaker:for me, whenever I've had a big day or I'm feeling overwhelmed,
Speaker:I always want to return home. And I want to give
Speaker:love to my children and to my husband. And
Speaker:that's a way that I give love back to myself. And
Speaker:that in itself What is legacy building? It's
Speaker:when we take the time to recognize and
Speaker:acknowledge the powerful, but small, but
Speaker:powerful life-changing actions that
Speaker:actually shape the trajectory of the legacy that
Speaker:we're trying to build and create. And although I did feel very
Speaker:loved when I was growing up, there was different elements
Speaker:to love. And I believe that actually shapes somebody.
Speaker:It shapes and it dictates the choices that
Speaker:you make. And we always go through life because
Speaker:of one event or another. And when
Speaker:we actually pause and realize that
Speaker:we have the power to create our
Speaker:own legacy, it's magical. It's
Speaker:inspiring. It's empowering. And for
Speaker:me, I just want to know that I've done a good
Speaker:job in protecting my children from
Speaker:the things that I've had to face and that it stops
Speaker:with me. All the negative things that I can pick out
Speaker:in my life, the choices that I made, the things that I
Speaker:had no choice over, do not affect my children's
Speaker:future. I take it upon myself and the legacy that I
Speaker:leave to be one of prosperity, one
Speaker:of passion and one of purpose. When
Speaker:I leave this world, I want to know that my children knew
Speaker:a mum that respected herself, that
Speaker:loved herself, that loved them, and that they
Speaker:were enough. I grew up for 36 years
Speaker:of my life thinking that I was never enough. And
Speaker:if I didn't stop and change
Speaker:the trajectory of my family's bloodline, my children will
Speaker:grow up and think that they are not enough. And I'm not
Speaker:having that. So part of my legacy is
Speaker:that it ended with me. The beauty that lies in
Speaker:being enough will take my children so
Speaker:far into their dreams that it will just
Speaker:be second nature for them to believe in themselves. It
Speaker:will just be natural for them to have confidence and
Speaker:it will be so natural for them to go after their dreams
Speaker:and to strive for whatever they believe in,
Speaker:whatever they aspire to be, because the
Speaker:limiting beliefs ended with me. And that's the
Speaker:legacy that I'm trying to build. I'm trying to build a
Speaker:legacy that is a platform for my
Speaker:children and the generations to come to thrive, to
Speaker:not be limited by social or cultural beliefs.
Speaker:I believe that when we see ourselves
Speaker:as the change that our bloodline needs, and has been
Speaker:waiting for, a new legacy has been built. For me,
Speaker:it's such an honour to have the
Speaker:opportunity to change and to inspire
Speaker:and impact and empower the trajectory of my
Speaker:children's future. It's such an honour for me to
Speaker:be able to change how my children see
Speaker:the world. And my legacy that I'm leaving behind is
Speaker:one of peace and gratitude and,
Speaker:most importantly, transformation. And it's really important
Speaker:for me to make sure that my children are
Speaker:empowered to become the best version of
Speaker:themselves. It's important for me, for my
Speaker:children to know that they are so worthy and
Speaker:so wanted and that they are enough in this world so
Speaker:that they can actually truly go out limitless. And
Speaker:I really believe that That responsibility is
Speaker:on all of us. And if we can just understand
Speaker:the importance of building
Speaker:an empowering legacy, the whole world can change around
Speaker:you. It can change for your children and it
Speaker:can change for the generations to come after that. It's just one
Speaker:small choice every day that's
Speaker:going to make you the better version of yourself. just like I
Speaker:chose every day to try and
Speaker:find something else to be grateful for. The
Speaker:power is within you to start building the legacy that
Speaker:you desire. It's really up
Speaker:to you to be able to create anything. Anything
Speaker:is possible. You just have to start picking up the tools and
Speaker:to light your own way and to create the legacy of
Speaker:your dreams. To create a legacy that you will be
Speaker:proud to leave behind. Thank you, Farno, for tuning in
