Now, most of us know that when a recruiting company brings in a physician and they sign for a new job position, they get paid a fee for that.

Doug German

A headhunt, we call it a headhunting fee.

Doug German

Right, but you were telling me yesterday when we first met that there's another way that they're grabbing money away from the doctor who signed the contract behind, behind the closed door and you don't even know about it.

Doug German

Tell us about this new practice of compensating recruiters.

Zen Chen

Yeah.

Zen Chen

So there is a commission based structure that is a percentage of the future one year salary of the physician.

Zen Chen

Oftentimes that can range from 15% to 30%.

Zen Chen

Now you can imagine an employer juggling how much to pay a headhunter versus how much salary to provide that future physician.

Doug German

Well, I'm going to be a little more aggressive about stating that that's actually the headhunter stealing your first year salary and you're not going to know about it unless you ask.

Doug German

And even then they might not divulge.

Doug German

So let's go over some of the unique features of this peer to peer referral system.

Doug German

Tell us how it works.

Doug German

If I want to put myself up as a candidate, tell us how it works, referring my friends, all that stuff.

So I'll go through the full workflow.

Zen Chen

Employers that want to list their job with us, they contract with us.

Zen Chen

And we actually specifically designed that job post to be tailored to that specialty, as detailed as possible, so that a physician in that specialty, when they see the job post, they have as much information as they possibly need and want.

Zen Chen

And we include information like neighborhood walkability scores, average home values, public schools.

Zen Chen

Because we see physician jobs as closer to buying a new home than your average transferring between, let's say two remote tech jobs, so to speak.

Zen Chen

Once that job is posted, all of our members have access to see those jobs and can use either if they like it themselves apply, or if they think that they have a peer that is a good fit for it, they can click the refer button.

Zen Chen

And just like Uber Instacart, any of these kinds of companies that have referral codes creates a personalized link for you.

Zen Chen

And when your friend or colleague or family member sees that post, they think that they're interested.

Zen Chen

Based on this comprehensive job post, they can apply.

Zen Chen

And as they apply and go through the various milestones of the hiring process, you as the person who referred them, can actually get significant cash payouts for each Milestone what that means?

Doug German

What, what are you talking about?

Doug German

Cash payments for my referral signing up.

Doug German

Are you kidding me?

Doug German

So does it cost me anything to register as a potential job applicant on the site and get started?

Zen Chen

We do not have you pay to register for the site.

Zen Chen

It's absolutely free for physicians to sign on.

It's a great fund.

If you refer a friend and they end up, even they don't have to sign a contract if they end up taking steps in the application process, you get paid and these are your friends.

Doug German
