Speaker AI don't know, they're just powerful.
Speaker AThey make you just want to worship and dance.
Speaker AAnd so I'm going to share this with you today.
Speaker AAnd there's a link in the show notes where you can go grab that playlist from Apple Music.
Speaker AIf you're not on Apple Music, then you can just type in the artist and the name of the song and find it wherever you listen to music.
Speaker AOkay, so here we go.
Speaker AHere we go.
Speaker AI'm going to share these 10 songs with you.
Speaker AI can tell you that when I share songs, which I don't do all the time, but I do on occasion, people love finding music that other people are listening to that maybe they haven't discovered before.
Speaker ASometimes there are already artists that you're listening to, but maybe there's newer songs that you haven't heard from that artist.
Speaker ASo let me dive right in.
Speaker AAnd obviously for rights reasons, I can't share snippets of the music with you on here because I don't have that lined up or worked out, but I will share with you the name of the song and the artist.
Speaker AOkay, so there's a couple songs that I'm really enjoying by Christian singer Jervis Campbell.
Speaker AThe first is Testify and then another one is called Stuck in the Clouds and the third one by him is True North.
Speaker AAll three of those are just, I don't know, they're just good music, good lyrics, upbeat.
Speaker AAnd I have created an album called Upbeat Faith because my other Faith album has a mix of stuff in it.
Speaker ABut this one, it's the album I want to listen to when I want to be in a good mood and I just want To I just want to be kind of get re centered and I just want to worship God.
Speaker AAnd so those are.
Speaker AThose are the first couple.
Speaker AAnd then there is a song that Jervis Campbell and Josiah Queen sing together called Alone with you that I really, really enjoyed.
Speaker AAnd let me see here.
Speaker AAnd then another one by just Josiah Queen is My Promised Land, which is really good.
Speaker AAnd then, let's see.
Speaker AAnd then Leanna Crawford, she.
Speaker AYou, many of you might have heard her song that she sang, it's probably been years, called Still Waters, and it talks about Psalm 23 in the actual song.
Speaker ABut two of her songs that I'm enjoying right now are Make it through and Looking for you.
Speaker AAnd then the two other ones are it's no Fear by John Reddick.
Speaker AAnd you may have heard that one before.
Speaker AI know that one's probably on K Love and things like that pretty often.
Speaker AAnd then the last one that I want to share today is by Cochrane & Co.
Speaker AAnd it's money Can't Buy.
Speaker AIt starts out a little slower, but then the beat really gets going and, you know, just another powerful song.
Speaker ABut these are the 10 songs that I wanted to come on and share with you.
Speaker AAnd there's plenty of scripture in the Bible that talks about praising God with dancing or song or making melody.
Speaker AAnd so I'll just share one or two of those with you.
Speaker AOkay.
Speaker AOne is in Psalm 149,3, it says, Let them praise his name with dancing, making melody to him with tambourine and lyre.
Speaker AAnother One is Psalm 95, 1, which is, oh, come, let us sing to the Lord.
Speaker ALet us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.
Speaker AOkay, and then another one that's not in Psalm, because there's a lot.
Speaker ALots of those is, let's see, you know, popular one we've probably all heard is Ecclesiastes 3, 4, which part, you know, it says, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance.
Speaker AAnd in Exodus 15:20, it says, Then Miriam, the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a tambourine in her hand, and all the women went out after her with tambourines and dancing.
Speaker ABut throughout the Bible we see examples of dancing and singing or using musical instruments to praise the Lord and to worship.
Speaker AAnd so I just think that when we can find music that helps us do that, it's just such a lovely thing to add into our day when we.
Speaker AWe feel like listening to music.
Speaker ASo like I said, today's a short episode.
Speaker AI just wanted to come on and share those.
Speaker AAnd most importantly, today's episode will just let you go into my show notes right below this episode and click the link to my Upbeat Mute Upbeat Faith playlist.
