system that favors men versus matriarchy, which actually isn't

women in charge. Matriarchy means the collective,

collaborative. We're all equal, we're all the same, we're all

working together. Wouldn't that be nice? But patriarchy, you

know, over the years, has has squished women more and more and

more and more over the centuries. And how, you know, we

all are born and, you know, grow up feeling wildly expressed when

we're little and then get repressed by the systems, and

yet, there's nothing. There's no force more powerful on planet

earth like not to compare. I know there's guys that listen to

this podcast. You're all you're amazing too. We're all amazing.

Human Life couldn't be created without both of us. So there's

not, it's not like one's better than the other. But all I'm

So that's where I want to start today. Wasn't planning on it,

but I've just been reflecting on my the last week of my journey

here in Nairobi, reconnecting with my community and on

would have seen I went to a dance event with my unbelievable

dance teacher, sky. She's so amazing. She has this UN like,

just extraordinary way of leading women, where everyone is

dancing. There were 100 women in the room, Kenyan women, women

Kate Harlow:

from all over the world who live in Kenya, probably some

Kate Harlow:

tourists, I don't know. And she leads us in these dance

workouts, and we're playing songs like we're listening to,

like Rihanna, not Rihanna. Oh, my God, what's her name? Mary J

Kate Harlow:

Blige, all the legends. Maybe there was Rihanna, I don't know.

Mary J Blige was there, and Celine Dion was there, and

Kate Harlow:

Beyonce was there. And, you know, all the legends that we

grew up with, Whitney Houston, and we were dancing Britney

Spears. That was fun. We were dancing all together, 100 women

in a room, and we were all in sync, like, if you see the

videos on Instagram, it's actually quite extraordinary

what she's able to do. My dance teacher and create this. And

we're not dancers. We're just like doing a workout class. It's

got some dancing. It was so profound, but just a reminder

of, like, how how much women are starving for connection. It's

one of the reasons why I love Nairobi so much, is it's it's

Kate Harlow:

just like bubbling with so much connection and so many amazing

things to do. And it really attracts amazing humans, like

Kenyans are my favorite people on planet Earth. And then

Kate Harlow:

everyone I meet that's not Kenyan who moved to Kenya is

pretty extraordinary, because they had the courage to leave

wherever they were from and move to Africa. So it's just it draws

in such an incredible, amazing group of humans. And when women

gather here, it's just off the charts. Like we were all we all

had sparkles on our faces. There was a glitter bar, and we were

all doing each other sparkles like feels like high school or

like a dance competition, and just all in cohesion together,

all in community together. That's the matriarch. It's like,

let's do this together. There and we're going to make magic

together. So we are experiencing some stressful times on planet

Kate Harlow:

Earth. Yes, and you know, astrologically, it's like all

part of the plan. There's nothing abnormal happening right

now, as Abraham Hicks says, says, everything's going exactly

as as it's supposed to. But the more we put our attention on how

things shouldn't be how they are, the more we are suffering.

So today's episode is all about how to navigate these stressful

times. I've come up with some keys to support you. But you

know, of course, listen to the new truth from the very

beginning, because every episode, I think, will help you

navigate stressful times. But the first thing I want to say

is, as women, I know the men listening to men need men also,

but as women, we need each other, and we need women who are

not just women, but women who are vibing high. And I don't

mean like fantasy high, where they're like fake and or drunk

or high on drugs, but I mean women who are taking

responsibility for their life, for their path, for their

hearts, for their feelings, it is essential for us to surround

ourselves with women, but not just any woman, Right? How many

Kate Harlow:

of your relationships are rooted in especially with what's

Kate Harlow:

happening in the world? Like just pay attention to your

Kate Harlow:

conversations. Are you What are you talking about with people

Kate Harlow:

right now? Are you talking about what's happening in the world?

Kate Harlow:

Are you talking are you arguing with reality? Are you talking

Kate Harlow:

about all the horrible things that are happening and how

Kate Harlow:

fucked the world is now? Crazy Donald Trump is remember I

shared the story. I don't know if it was last week or the week

Kate Harlow:

before, about how I had before, about how I had my little temper

Kate Harlow:

tantrum meltdown to my bestie on the phone, and I was like, The

Kate Harlow:

world is crazy, and why are we here? I don't want to be here.

Kate Harlow:

And I was going through one of those moments. The difference

Kate Harlow:

between me and it me doing that, and how most people do it is I

Kate Harlow:

am intentionally processing something, allowing that part of

Kate Harlow:

myself that had taken over that day to get really loud, inviting

Kate Harlow:

her in, welcoming her to the party, letting her be heard by

Kate Harlow:

my best friend, who I know can hold space for me but not jump

Kate Harlow:

in the pit with me. That's the difference. She didn't jump in

Kate Harlow:

the pit with me. She just held space. I hear you. I know, yeah,

Kate Harlow:

it's crazy. I hear you, yeah, tell me more. And as I was doing

Kate Harlow:

that, I hold it. Was holding my Heart and Holding my belly, and

Kate Harlow:

I with my hands, and I was like, I've got you. And I felt it

Kate Harlow:

fully. And then I went to bed and I did a little like Angel

Kate Harlow:

cleansing healing session on myself, put on some healing

Kate Harlow:

frequency, said a prayer to my angels, and went to sleep and

Kate Harlow:

woke up feeling amazing the next day, and never again did I speak

Kate Harlow:

those words since that time. So that's a big difference between

Kate Harlow:

taking responsibility for because, of course, we're still

Kate Harlow:

going to be affected. This is not about not being affected.

Kate Harlow:

It's impossible, like we're we're in fantasy if we're not

Kate Harlow:

affected at all. However, when something arises, it's inviting

Kate Harlow:

you to meet it. It's inviting when, when you are activated,

Kate Harlow:

that is an invitation to go deeper into your relationship

Kate Harlow:

with yourself, to go deeper into your relationship with this old

Kate Harlow:

trauma that is there. But if you just stay in the story, which

Kate Harlow:

most people do, you are creating your own suffering. My love, it

is so unnatural for us to know everything that's happening in

Kate Harlow:

the world and all the horrible things occurring. And, you know,

Kate Harlow:

I think about these systems like the government and the media and

Kate Harlow:

all these these guys that are in cahoots to keep people in fear

and, you know, controlling the world. Whoever's in charge, I

Kate Harlow:

don't know. I don't know who's in charge. I mean, I've heard,

but I don't know. But these systems are designed to keep

Kate Harlow:

people in fear, to keep people scared, and, and then to keep

Kate Harlow:

people divided and, and we're divided from each other, yes,

Kate Harlow:

like, politically, look how divided people are right now.

Kate Harlow:

Economically, people are so divided. We're divided in so

Kate Harlow:

many ways, and the systems are constantly programming us to

Kate Harlow:

keep dividing ourselves. But when you're really plugged into

Kate Harlow:

your divinity, that your soul, your source energy, we'll call

Kate Harlow:

it or or your connection, your interconnectedness to the

Kate Harlow:

universe, to the Divine matrix, to the quantum field, when

Kate Harlow:

you're really connected to who you truly are, not your

Kate Harlow:

conditioned self, not this little robot that you've been

Kate Harlow:

taught to

Kate Harlow:

be, but your sovereign soul, heroine self, when you are

Kate Harlow:

plugged into that Part of you, you do not take the bait. You do

not have people cannot control you. You go your own way, right?

And that's when, like the people that I know, and there's a lot

of them, it might seem like a time where everybody is

suffering, but I actually am surrounded by people who are

thriving right now, and the same was true in covid tons. The

people were suffering, and I was surrounded by people who are

thriving and who are taking that time as an opportunity to grow,

to develop, to evolve, to pivot to to to keep deepening in their

Kate Harlow:

relationship with themselves and each other. Because when we're

Kate Harlow:

connected to our divinity, we're also connected to everybody

Kate Harlow:

else. We're not separate. It's like then, it's like nature. I

Kate Harlow:

just actually watched this crazy reel last night that my brother

Kate Harlow:

sent me. My brother's having an awakening right now. It's so

Kate Harlow:

cute. I was hoping for that he had a massive heart attack a

Kate Harlow:

couple of years ago. I think I shared that on the podcast, and

Kate Harlow:

his awakening didn't happen right away. And I was like,

Kate Harlow:

isn't that a near death experience? Like he actually did

Kate Harlow:

die for a few minutes. And so was hoping that he was gonna

come back around and, like, be enlightened after and he was

Kate Harlow:

totally not. He was exact same guy, complaining victim

Kate Harlow:

mentality, blaming everyone. And it didn't happen until very

recently. He's having like, a health awakening where he's

sending me non stop Instagram reels about, like, different

Kate Harlow:

with different health Teachers speaking out about all the

Kate Harlow:

bullshit health stuff that's keeping people sick and all the

Kate Harlow:

industries that are keeping people sick. It's so cute.

Anyways, okay, no, I went on a sidebar about my brother. We

were talking about taking responsibility and where you put

Kate Harlow:

your attention, and how the systems, yes, how the systems

Kate Harlow:

want to keep us in fear, right? These systems are designed to

keep us separate from each other and separate from the truth of

Kate Harlow:

who we are. We're surrounded by them. And even, like, you know,

all the like, the stuff about the Epstein files and this

Kate Harlow:

country's gone to war in that country. I mean, there's so many

Kate Harlow:

countries in war right now that we don't even know about, but we

Kate Harlow:

only know about the certain ones they want us to know. But like,

anyways, I'm not gonna go down the rabbit hole, because

honestly, I Okay. I will admit there was a time, because I'm a

truth seeker. There was a time during covid where people were

Kate Harlow:

sending me conspiracy, quote, unquote. That is a gaslighting

word that's designed to negate people's other theories, by the

Kate Harlow:

way, designed by the government. But people were sending me all

Kate Harlow:

these videos, and I was going dark down the rabbit hole, all

Kate Harlow:

the stuff that's being revealed right now, what I was exposed to

Kate Harlow:

during covid, and people were like, You're crazy. That's not

Kate Harlow:

true. And like, now it is. But I did, I realized I am. It's also

Kate Harlow:

the same energy going deep down those rabbit holes is exact same

Kate Harlow:

energy as watching the news. So this brings me to my second

Kate Harlow:

point. Actually, didn't really drive home the first one. I'm

Kate Harlow:

going to come back to it. But the second point is cleaning up

Kate Harlow:

your consumption. Because even the conspiracy videos, it's the

Kate Harlow:

same thing. It's like, okay, and I don't even call them

Kate Harlow:

conspiracies. We'll call them alternative theories. If you

Kate Harlow:

were like, I am very investigative, there is a part

Kate Harlow:

of me that wants to know the truth. And is like, Wait,

Kate Harlow:

something is off about this, and whenever something feels off, I

Kate Harlow:

want to know the truth. Will we ever fully know the truth?

Kate Harlow:

Probably not. This is it's a game. It's a reality TV show. It

Kate Harlow:

is a video game. This life, I get to choose what game I'm

Kate Harlow:

playing. And when I went down those rabbit holes in 2020 and

Kate Harlow:

became, all of a sudden, I was like, the friend that was the

Kate Harlow:

conspiracy theorist, the crazy one at the table, and I got

Kate Harlow:

intense, like I was really attached. I had crazy anxiety,

Kate Harlow:

and all of a sudden I couldn't sleep at night, and I was like,

Kate Harlow:

spinning my wheels, and I was going nuts. So is that better

Kate Harlow:

than watching the news? No, it's just the opposite side of the

Kate Harlow:

pendulum. It's like, where is my attention? Where I'm putting my

Kate Harlow:

attention matters more than you could ever know. So the second

Kate Harlow:

point, the second key to navigating stressful times, is

Kate Harlow:

to clean your consumption. Notice what you're putting into

Kate Harlow:

your subconscious, like people are obsessed with true crime.

Kate Harlow:

Okay? This is choose your own adventure. You get to choose

Kate Harlow:

what you want to do, but whatever you watch programs your

Kate Harlow:

subconscious mind. So I even used to watch Emily in Paris and

Kate Harlow:

like really light shows bridgerton, those shows are full

Kate Harlow:

of fantasy. Fantasy like what what we're supposed to look

Kate Harlow:

like, fantasy of what love is supposed to be, of what life is

Kate Harlow:

supposed to be. It is so they're, they're, they're still

Kate Harlow:

affecting us, right? Reality TV shows, like, oh, I don't watch

Kate Harlow:

the news, but I watch love Island. Or love is blind. It's

Kate Harlow:

like that that is so toxic, unless studying it from the lens

of like, oh, what saboteur archetype is that, if you're

Kate Harlow:

using it as a tool to grow, okay, different. And again, I am

not saying any of this to shame you or blame you or tell you to

what to do. You choose your own adventure. I support you doing

what's best for you. I'm just going to plant some seeds today,

and maybe they'll come to fruition now. Maybe they'll come

to fruition 10 years from now. It doesn't matter. Maybe they'll

never will. But these are things that have really helped me clean

up my frequency. So cleaning your consumption. What do you

consume? And I will include food in this, right? Everything you

put into your body, physically, spiritually, emotionally,

mentally, what are you putting into your body? So shows are you

watching? Shows that keep us separate from people. For. Your

keep you separate from your divinity, separate from your

soul, separate from yourself, even watching TV, it's like we

puts us into a passive learning state, and you're like a zombie.

So like, how much time are you spending doing that? Right? If

you're doing it Okay, once we were having movie night once a

month, or once a week, or something. Fine. But how much,

how much time, like, people spend so much time watching

Kate Harlow:

shows nowadays. What are you watching? I'm like, if we're

gonna watch anything, watch Planet Earth videos with David

Kate Harlow:

Attenborough, the legend of all legends, and learn about the

Kate Harlow:

profound power and magic of nature. Because you are nature.

You are not separate from it. Oh, this that's, I forgot.

That's where I was going with my brother. Okay, I'm gonna go into

that nature. So he sent me this reel. It was so good. It was

about how we are nature, and yet, humans are being sent

bills. They're being sent they're like we have been put in

They don't have to pay to live on planet Earth. They just get

watching, and how does it make you feel? Right? If you feel if

you're watching something and you feel inspired or expanded

after great I'm so particular now, like, I only watch YouTube

when I feel like really resting and watching something. And I'll

watch Greg Braden, or I'll watch I'll watch Bruce Lipton, or I'll

watch an old Alan Watts video. I watch spiritual teachers that

keep expanding what I believe is possible, to keep teaching me

about quantum science, quantum physics and neuroplasticity and

how we create our own reality. Like that's what I will spend my

time watching. I will not spend my time watching things, and I

Kate Harlow:

can't even watch Netflix anymore. It's not and it wasn't

even before I loved watching it on rest days. I'm a projector. I

love to rest, and whenever I was resting, I would just like,

watch a few episodes of a show. And I can't even do that

anymore, because it just doesn't feel good. It feels like

pointless. I'm like, why am I watching these fake people on

the screen have all these dramatic problems, like it's

drama, right? Your saboteur loves drama, so she's going to

get off on watching dramatic shows. But then the more

dramatic shows you're watching, the more drama is happening

inside of you, right? It's actually feeding your saboteur.

So here's the question, What am I consuming, and is it feeding

my saboteur, or is it feeding my heroin and not heroin, the drug,

Kate Harlow:

you know what I mean? Is it feeding my soul, right? So even

Kate Harlow:

with food, right? Am I feeding it my saboteur? So for something

Kate Harlow:

like alcohol and again, non judgment, like you do you. I

Kate Harlow:

used to love having wine for sensuality, and it was a part of

Kate Harlow:

my journey. And now it's just not, I'll have it once in a blue

moon, but it's just like, I don't like how it feels anymore,

because my frequency feels so clean and it feels like it dims

it down, and I'm not interested in being dimmed down.

So everything you put into your body or you put into your mind

has an impact, right? So is it your saboteur putting it in in

your body or your mind. Or is it your heroin? Your heroine will

put things into your body and mind that feels so nourishing,

not just to your palate, not just your anxiety, right? If you

have anxiety, your heroin is like tending to the anxiety,

stop pouring gasoline on it. So if you're having a couple

glasses of wine and numb your anxiety, it's going to be worse

tomorrow, right? So that's pouring gasoline on it versus

actually learning how to be with your feelings. Learning how to

be this is what I teach in all of my programs, learning how to

be in relationship with these younger parts of you that need

your love. They don't need a drunk mom. They need a divine

mama who is your heroine, to love her up when those, these

little parts arise, when you feel triggered or activated,

that is so important, right? So is it your saboteur just taking

the quick fix? That's what Netflix is. That's what social

media is. Scrolling on social media, what are you putting into

your mind? Are you focusing? Are you watching the news? Are you

not watching the news on the news, but you're watching the

news on social media, right? It's like, where do you spend

your time and energy? And so coming back to the first point,

it's all about having refining your community and your the

Kate Harlow:

frequency of your community and who you surround yourself with.

Women need women. We need community more, I think more

Kate Harlow:

than men. Men are hunters. We are gatherers. The gatherers

need to be with our people. Women need women. We fucking

Kate Harlow:

need each other, but we need each other empowered. We need

Kate Harlow:

each other sovereign. We need each other, loving ourselves and

loving each other and cheering each other on. We don't need

Kate Harlow:

each other, and our saboteur is jealous. Competing, gossiping,

complaining, bonding through sacrifice, bonding through

Kate Harlow:

control, bonding through perfectionism, bonding through

fakeness, bonding through hiding, bonding through talking

about all the shit happening in the world and being victims of

it like that is not serving you. You are the nobody is coming to

rescue you, my love, we you have been fed messages your whole

entire life, that one day a prince is going to come rescue

you. He's a lot of money, he's going to have a white horse, and

he's going to save you, he's going to throw you on the back,

and you're going to ride off in the sunset, and you're going to

live happily ever after. That, on some level, is still in the

back of every woman's subconscious mind, that someday

someone's going to come along and make it all better. But the

truth is, nobody is coming to make it better except you. And

it's not even you. It's your heroine. It's your soul, right?

You have to start letting her lead, or else you will be

creating your own suffering forever, right? Times are hard.

Times have been hard forever. My God, like every I said this on,

I think the New Year's episode, it's like every New Year's Eve

for the past, as long as I've been doing this work, everyone's

like, Oh, down with 2017 what that was? A shit show. Can't

feel after you watch the news? How do you feel after scrolling

on Facebook. How do you feel after scrolling on social media?

How do you feel after drinking alcohol? How do you feel after

eating I don't know gluten. I was allergic to gluten forever,

and it wasn't until I started getting rashes on my face that I

actually gave it up. It's like, was so hard, but now I'm like,

now I feel amazing not having it. So it's like, what are you

putting in your body that you know is hurting? You just start

to track it right. Start to track it, and then start to

track the things you do for your soul, like meditation, like

movement, like dance classes, like Improv Theater, like

musical theaters, like yoga, like. Tai Chi, like walks in the

forest, like traveling, like come into the immersion. Notice

all the things that you're doing for your soul and how you feel

after that. Right pay attention. Do a meditation every single

morning right now, I'm doing one with my friend Leah. She does

these amazing kriyas, Kirchen kriya, which is, I think, from

Kundalini. And it's like chanting and singing in the

morning for 11 minutes. So beautiful. And I feel amazing

after so notice that, you know, I notice if I end up watching

even a YouTube video of a spiritual teacher before bed, I

have a restless sleep. If I eat dinner too late, I have a

Kate Harlow:

restless sleep. And if I don't have any technology in my room

and I'm not watching anything, I have an amazing sleep. If I'm

Kate Harlow:

talking to my angels before bed and talking to my nervous system

Kate Harlow:

before bed and putting my hands on my body and setting

Kate Harlow:

intentions, I have an amazing sleep. Wow, isn't it wild we

Kate Harlow:

have it's like, actually quite simple cleaning up our

Kate Harlow:

frequency, but we make it so complicated, and our saboteurs

Kate Harlow:

are so attached to all the habits that make us feel bad. So

Kate Harlow:

clean those habits up. We are on information overload right now.

Kate Harlow:

We're not supposed to be consuming all the messages we're

Kate Harlow:

consuming and everything that's happening in the world. It's

Kate Harlow:

insane. So shut the information down. The less information

Kate Harlow:

you're consuming, the better. Then you'll be able to tap into

Kate Harlow:

your inner sage and your inner wisdom, like there's so much

Kate Harlow:

wisdom inside of you that you've not even tapped into if you're

Kate Harlow:

so busy listening to everyone else. So get quiet, meditate

Kate Harlow:

instead of listening to the frickin news or like true

Kate Harlow:

crimes, or like reality, drama, TV, like, what are you putting

Kate Harlow:

into your subconscious? You Your mind, your saboteur mind, will

Kate Harlow:

tell you it doesn't affect you, but it does so start to pay

attention. Just start to notice. And if you just feel shitty all

Kate Harlow:

the time, and your nervous system is very dysregulated, you

won't even notice. It's like when you do a cleanse, and then

you try and add back sugar after or alcohol or gluten or whatever

it you notice the impact. My friend, who's obsessed with

gluten everything, she cut it out for like, a week, and then

she had a bowl of pasta, and she was like, Oh my God. I feel like

I'm like, I feel like I'm turning into a zombie, and all

Kate Harlow:

of a sudden I'm like, gonna fall off my chair like it was so

Kate Harlow:

obvious to her. But before that, she was like,

Kate Harlow:

gluten is not bad for me. I feel amazing. So if you don't cut

Kate Harlow:

things out, you can't know how what the impact is that they're

Kate Harlow:

having. But intuitively, you know your body knows, your heart

Kate Harlow:

knows. So clean it up. Take responsibility for how you feel,

Kate Harlow:

my loves, you can clean it up. Clean up the people you surround

Kate Harlow:

yourself with. Clean up the food. Clean up the Netflix.

Kate Harlow:

Clean up the Botox. Said, with love, I know you're all being

Kate Harlow:

bombarded with messages that we're not supposed to age and

Kate Harlow:

we're supposed to stay the same forever and freeze ourselves in

Kate Harlow:

time. I haven't talked about Botox in a long time, but it is

Kate Harlow:

the second most toxic chemical on planet Earth, and it's

Kate Harlow:

freezing your ability to express yourself. I can't even watch TV

Kate Harlow:

anymore, for that's part of the reason I can't watch shows.

Kate Harlow:

Everyone has so much Botox they don't even you can't even see

Kate Harlow:

them. Feeling that has such an impact on your psychology and

Kate Harlow:

your heart and your nervous system and your anxiety. Oh, my

Kate Harlow:

God. Like more than we could ever know. We got to start

Kate Harlow:

talking about that more. It is so toxic for emotionally,

Kate Harlow:

physically, spiritually, it is toxic on every level, and is not

Kate Harlow:

your fault. We are so brainwashed by by that industry,

Kate Harlow:

by the beauty industry, but I mean, we're just by this

Kate Harlow:

Hollywood. We're brainwashed by everyone that we're all supposed

Kate Harlow:

to be like zombie robots. We're turning into AI. It's crazy.

Kate Harlow:

Everyone's scared AI is going to take over. We're literally

Kate Harlow:

becoming it. So be mindful. If you were like I said this on an

Kate Harlow:

episode a long time ago about body love. This is true with

Kate Harlow:

food, with alcohol, with Botox, with Netflix. It's like, what is

Kate Harlow:

the most loving thing I could do is this choice rooted in self

Kate Harlow:

love. There's no way women say, Oh yeah, my Botox is for

Kate Harlow:

confidence, so that's self love. I'm sorry, freezing your ability

Kate Harlow:

to express yourself and injecting the second most toxic

Kate Harlow:

chemical on planet Earth to your face and the right in front of

Kate Harlow:

your brain. Like the long term studies are not even out yet,

Kate Harlow:

because this trend is new, that that is not the like if you were

Kate Harlow:

actually rooted in self love, you would never, ever do

Kate Harlow:

something like that. So again, said with love, not your fault.

Kate Harlow:

I'm not judging you. I'm just offering something. Because if

Kate Harlow:

you're stressed out and you're overwhelmed and you're exhausted

Kate Harlow:

and you feel like shit, and you don't think that has an impact

on you. I have five clients who had breast implants removed in

Kate Harlow:

the last two years, and the day they got their breast implants

removed, they felt like a brand new person. They felt like their

Kate Harlow:

energy was back. They could breathe again. They could feel

again like the. Actual damage that has. Our body will never

stop fighting a foreign object, object that's in it, and Botox

and injections are the same thing. It's a foreign object.

Your body is never going to stop trying to push it out and trying

to get rid of it. So but, but we're fed so many messages that

brainwash us to believe something else. So again, do

what feels right for you. Perhaps this is seeds for the

future, said with so much love, but you get to create your own

reality. And if you're consuming a bunch of toxic shit, you are

going to create your own stress. So coming to the last key,

becoming a caretaker of your frequency, that is the last key,

the number one key of navigating stressful times, right? You can

stay in the external world and get pulled here and pulled there

and swept here and swept there and up and down and high and low

Kate Harlow:

and around and around, and that's an option. Or you can

Kate Harlow:

devote your self to feeling good. That's what all of my

programs teach women how to do the reclamation, the immersion.

My one on one work, it's all about teaching women how to take

true responsibility for how they feel and for the frequency that

they carry in the world. If you are on drugs, you cannot feel

your frequency, you cannot feel your heart. You cannot fully

feel your pleasure and your joy and your sadness and your rage

and all the beautiful feelings inside of you that need to be

felt. So to become a caretaker of your frequency, you need to

clean everything up rather than so. Anyway, what I was

originally going to say about the doctors is like, they have

us be afraid of our feelings. Like, when I have, I have all my

Kate Harlow:

clients go off antidepressants, if they're on them, or anti

Kate Harlow:

anxiety medication, not because I tell them to, because they get

Kate Harlow:

to a place where they feel so good that they're like, but they

Kate Harlow:

can feel a ceiling. They're like, there's something capping

Kate Harlow:

me here. I can't quite feel everything, but they feel so

Kate Harlow:

good because they're in alignment. You're only depressed

Kate Harlow:

and anxious because you're out of alignment. So when you learn

Kate Harlow:

how to be fully alignment with your soul and your heart and the

Kate Harlow:

truth of who you are, you don't need drugs anymore. So when they

Kate Harlow:

go off the drugs, they go to the doctor to talk about it, and the

Kate Harlow:

doctors are like, Oh, no, no, no. Like, just stay on a small

Kate Harlow:

dose. Like you can't go off it. Like you you can't handle your

Kate Harlow:

feelings. And it's like, no, actually, I've learned how to be

Kate Harlow:

in relationship with my feelings, and that all of my

Kate Harlow:

feelings are beautiful and welcome and important. Have you

Kate Harlow:

seen the movie Inside Out, like all of your feelings matter,

Kate Harlow:

they're all important, and they only run the show if your

Kate Harlow:

saboteur is in charge, right? If you're making choices that are

Kate Harlow:

out of alignment. The only time you get trapped in one feeling

Kate Harlow:

that's that's painful for a long period of time is because you're

Kate Harlow:

in a story and you're in your saboteur, and you're keeping it

Kate Harlow:

trapped there. So learning how to be in relationships with your

Kate Harlow:

feelings is one of the most important life skills you could

Kate Harlow:

ever learn. And what does that mean? It means when you're

Kate Harlow:

activated, to be able to let your saboteur vent her stories

Kate Harlow:

and then get underneath. What am I feeling? I'm feeling anxious,

I'm feeling insecure, I'm feeling sad, I'm feeling

Kate Harlow:

overwhelmed. Okay, that's the part that we address, through

Kate Harlow:

movement, through through embodiment practices, through

Kate Harlow:

writing practices, through feeling practices, but where you

Kate Harlow:

start to cultivate and activate the feelings so they can be met

Kate Harlow:

and felt fully, like a three year old, when you feel your

Kate Harlow:

feelings to the bottom, now you come back to your grounded

Kate Harlow:

frequency, and now we can increase your vibration, right?

You first you feel the muck, you feel all the stuff that's

blocking your light and your divinity. So this is how we

caretake your frequency. You have to know how to be in

relationship with your feelings and how to feel them and express

Kate Harlow:

them fully without getting trapped in the story. And then

you meditate. You spend time creating space, devoting

yourself to your soul, to your divinity, to the source inside

of you, to the love that's inside of you, to the beauty

that's inside of you. And you learn how to plug in and be with

that energy and just be. This skill is, this is one of the

Earth Nate. They don't have to pay rent. They don't have to pay

to live on planet Earth. And they, they, they just are.

They're the we're. We are the only species that doesn't know

being, but we're not being. We've been taught to do, do, do,

expand your capacity to just be. And most people are like, oh,

man, I can't be in meditation because they don't know how to

be, because your saboteur so loud that you you can't be with

yourself. Do you know how much of your life will change when

you can be with yourself? I used to not be able to meditate. I

spend three hours almost every day singing, and you probably be

like, there's no time for that. You create the time, and when

you create a life you love, you're in charge of your own

schedule. Anyways. So. That's I wasn't born into this. I had

created this right? I created this schedule so that I couldn't

and even living on the other side of the world with my

clients, on the other side of the world, I get to have my

mornings all to me. And I go to the gym and I do a class, and

then I come before I go to the gym, I meditate and I come back,

and I usually meditate for another two hours. I sing in the

morning, I do the chanting thing and just a short meditation

before the gym, and then I come back and I sing and I cry and I

feel, and I do it all with my eyes closed. Sometimes I open my

eyes and connect with myself in the mirror. I meditate on a

cushion in front of the mirror, but I just am in the present

moment, being with myself. That is self love. That is like the

ultimate act of self love, but there's layers we have to move
