Justin IgleskisI'm your host, Justin Igleskis.
Justin IgleskisLet's get into it.
Justin IgleskisToday's episode.
Justin IgleskisYou'll discover what emotional burnout is and where it comes from, the secret trick to never getting trapped in a low energetic state of mind, and why feeling burnout is actually a gift that will make you much stronger and more profitable.
Justin IgleskisYou know, what is emotional burnout and where does it come from?
Justin IgleskisEmotional burnout seems to be a roadblock.
Justin IgleskisSeems to be like a roadblock.
Justin IgleskisAnd this implies that something is clogged, whether it be a pipeline, an artery, something is clogged.
Justin IgleskisAnd when we undo that clogging, which creates the burnout, do you see how that makes sense?
Justin IgleskisMetaphorically, you know, if you take something very practical like a car and let's say the catalytic converter is clocked, that's going to have a effect on the exhaust system.
Justin IgleskisYou know, it's the same thing with your body.
Justin IgleskisAnd when your vessel, your arteries get clogged, right?
Justin IgleskisThen your organs stop getting the blood flow or whatever nutrients etc that they need to function properly.
Justin IgleskisBut if we approach it simply, then you can see that emotional burnout is a byproduct of something else in that something else is where it comes from.
Justin IgleskisSo where does it come from?
Justin IgleskisRight?
Justin IgleskisReal casual language, distraction.
Justin IgleskisWe get emotionally burned out when we're not in line with the light.
Justin IgleskisWe get emotionally burned out when we're not in line with correct energy, when we ignore how we feel and we're so numb, distracted and entertained that we can't be honest and start to change how we live our lives.
Justin IgleskisThat's where emotional burnout comes from.
Justin IgleskisAnd once we get honest about how we're living our lives, then you're naturally going to see the answers within you.
Justin IgleskisYou are your own guide.
Justin IgleskisIt's just who.
Justin IgleskisWho's intelligent enough to create and craft their lifestyle in a way where you have the space to hear your own wisdom.
Justin IgleskisThat's what we're talking about.
Justin IgleskisBecause emotional burnout is something that's going to.
Justin IgleskisAnd this is.
Justin IgleskisLet's just go into that.
Justin IgleskisWhy feeling burnout is actually a gift that will make you much stronger and more profitable.
Justin IgleskisWhy?
Justin IgleskisYou know, you're on a fast track when you're burned out.
Justin IgleskisYou're on a fast track to hitting Rock bottom, you're on a fast track to exploding.
Justin IgleskisAnd you know, personally, I feel for you.
Justin IgleskisI send you love if you feel that way.
Justin IgleskisI send you compassion, kindness and gentleness and patience because you deserve that.
Justin IgleskisBut at the same time, just know that you're signing up for what you're feeling and real practically, right?
Justin IgleskisIf you can start to notice your thinking, if you have thoughts like, thoughts that feel like fear, self pity, victimhood, those are the roots.
Justin IgleskisYou have to look at those.
Justin IgleskisWhen you look at how you think, you'll start to get more honest and clear about how you feel internally.
Justin IgleskisAnd it can go vice versa, right?
Justin IgleskisIf you pay more attention to how you feel, you'll probably be more aware of the thoughts which create the feelings.
Justin IgleskisI'm not going to be here and say that.
Justin IgleskisIt always happens this way.
Justin IgleskisYou're feeling feelings create your thoughts or your thoughts create your feelings.
Justin IgleskisI'm not here to tell you like what I think.
Justin IgleskisI'm here to share with you the fruit of learning and letting our hearts expand so fundamentally.
Justin IgleskisYou know, when you're on a fast track to rock bottom and crashing and burning out, it's a gift.
Justin IgleskisIt's a gift because it's going to break you.
Justin IgleskisAnd when you get broken, you will get stronger.
Justin IgleskisThere's not another option.
Justin IgleskisAnd you know that quote, right?
Justin IgleskisLike God wouldn't give you anything, you can't carry.
Justin IgleskisFeel that thing.
Justin IgleskisBecause whatever it is that you're carrying right now, it's meant to strengthen you.
Justin IgleskisIf we live in the land of self pity, victimhood, distraction, that weight is going to pile up.
Justin IgleskisAnd that's not good.
Justin IgleskisThat's not good.
Justin IgleskisBut again, it, what does it mean?
Justin IgleskisGood.
Justin IgleskisSo when we zoom out in the short term, yeah, it's going to be not good.
Justin IgleskisBut in the big picture, the rock bottom is going to help you learn faster.
Justin IgleskisBecause when you hit that bottom, you really don't have a choice but to bounce right back up.
Justin IgleskisYou really don't have a choice, else your life is going to.
Justin IgleskisYou may have to stew in that oven for a bit.
Justin IgleskisYou may have to let that furnace get real hot.
Justin IgleskisYou might have to, right?
Justin IgleskisBut inevitably, I know you're wise enough to learn from what your, your heart and what your mind is showing you.
Justin IgleskisJust look.
Justin IgleskisJust look.
Justin IgleskisNow the secret trick to never getting trapped in a low energetic state of mind, okay?
Justin IgleskisAnd that is, right, it's change.
Justin IgleskisWe change how we live and then what we are changes too.
Justin IgleskisSo this means, right, how you wake up, what you eat, when you exercise, what Exercises you do.
Justin IgleskisDo you listen to music while you exercise?
Justin IgleskisI would highly recommend that you give yourself at least a few workouts per week with no music.
Justin IgleskisI do not care.
Justin IgleskisI do not care if you're going to the gym and the gym is playing whatever music that you don't like.
Justin IgleskisThere's something about constant stimulation that keeps us lost.
Justin IgleskisThere really is.
Justin IgleskisIf we are always stimulated and never silent with ourselves.
Justin IgleskisHearing the breeze, the birds going for a walk, the crunch of the leaves, the crunch of the snow, listening to the rain crackle on the leaves, whatever it may be, if we do not have those moments where we can hear our own thinking, that's scary.
Justin IgleskisThat can get real dark fast.
Justin IgleskisSo what I'm saying is, you know the secret trick to never getting trapped in a low energetic state is changing your lifestyle so that you're not so stimulated and that you're actually energetically aligned.
Justin IgleskisSo this means clean food, this means fresh air.
Justin IgleskisThis means less stimulation, less scrolling, more meaningful work.
Justin IgleskisRight.
Justin IgleskisTime block.
Justin Igleskis90 minutes.
Justin IgleskisEat fresh air, exercise, keep your life simple.
Justin IgleskisWork on what you care about and keep your life simple.
Justin IgleskisThat's really the trick.
Justin IgleskisIf you can piece that together, you're going to have a beautiful life.
Justin IgleskisDon't believe me, you can't believe me.
Justin IgleskisBut you can test it out yourself and then get back to me, right?
Justin IgleskisI'd love to hear that.
Justin IgleskisI'd love to hear.
Justin IgleskisOh, I tested out a few things that you shared and oh my gosh, I am feeling night and day.
Justin IgleskisShoot me that message.
Justin IgleskisI'm looking out for it.
Justin IgleskisFundamentally.
Justin IgleskisRight?
Justin IgleskisThe summary is emotional burnout is rooted in not paying attention to what matters most to you.
Justin IgleskisTo get unstuck, we need a solid relationship with our simple fundamentals.
Justin IgleskisMake our life clear and simple from the foundation up.
Justin IgleskisAnd there's beauty in noticing, feeling, seeing when you are trapped and letting yourself be honest about how that state was brought to be.
