I'm your host, Justin Igleskis.

Justin Igleskis

Let's get into it.

Justin Igleskis

Today's episode.

Justin Igleskis

You'll discover what emotional burnout is and where it comes from, the secret trick to never getting trapped in a low energetic state of mind, and why feeling burnout is actually a gift that will make you much stronger and more profitable.

Justin Igleskis

You know, what is emotional burnout and where does it come from?

Justin Igleskis

Emotional burnout seems to be a roadblock.

Justin Igleskis

Seems to be like a roadblock.

Justin Igleskis

And this implies that something is clogged, whether it be a pipeline, an artery, something is clogged.

Justin Igleskis

And when we undo that clogging, which creates the burnout, do you see how that makes sense?

Justin Igleskis

Metaphorically, you know, if you take something very practical like a car and let's say the catalytic converter is clocked, that's going to have a effect on the exhaust system.

Justin Igleskis

You know, it's the same thing with your body.

Justin Igleskis

And when your vessel, your arteries get clogged, right?

Justin Igleskis

Then your organs stop getting the blood flow or whatever nutrients etc that they need to function properly.

Justin Igleskis

But if we approach it simply, then you can see that emotional burnout is a byproduct of something else in that something else is where it comes from.

Justin Igleskis

So where does it come from?

Justin Igleskis

Right?

Justin Igleskis

Real casual language, distraction.

Justin Igleskis

We get emotionally burned out when we're not in line with the light.

Justin Igleskis

We get emotionally burned out when we're not in line with correct energy, when we ignore how we feel and we're so numb, distracted and entertained that we can't be honest and start to change how we live our lives.

Justin Igleskis

That's where emotional burnout comes from.

Justin Igleskis

And once we get honest about how we're living our lives, then you're naturally going to see the answers within you.

Justin Igleskis

You are your own guide.

Justin Igleskis

It's just who.

Justin Igleskis

Who's intelligent enough to create and craft their lifestyle in a way where you have the space to hear your own wisdom.

Justin Igleskis

That's what we're talking about.

Justin Igleskis

Because emotional burnout is something that's going to.

Justin Igleskis

And this is.

Justin Igleskis

Let's just go into that.

Justin Igleskis

Why feeling burnout is actually a gift that will make you much stronger and more profitable.

Justin Igleskis

Why?

Justin Igleskis

You know, you're on a fast track when you're burned out.

Justin Igleskis

You're on a fast track to hitting Rock bottom, you're on a fast track to exploding.

Justin Igleskis

And you know, personally, I feel for you.

Justin Igleskis

I send you love if you feel that way.

Justin Igleskis

I send you compassion, kindness and gentleness and patience because you deserve that.

Justin Igleskis

But at the same time, just know that you're signing up for what you're feeling and real practically, right?

Justin Igleskis

If you can start to notice your thinking, if you have thoughts like, thoughts that feel like fear, self pity, victimhood, those are the roots.

Justin Igleskis

You have to look at those.

Justin Igleskis

When you look at how you think, you'll start to get more honest and clear about how you feel internally.

Justin Igleskis

And it can go vice versa, right?

Justin Igleskis

If you pay more attention to how you feel, you'll probably be more aware of the thoughts which create the feelings.

Justin Igleskis

I'm not going to be here and say that.

Justin Igleskis

It always happens this way.

Justin Igleskis

You're feeling feelings create your thoughts or your thoughts create your feelings.

Justin Igleskis

I'm not here to tell you like what I think.

Justin Igleskis

I'm here to share with you the fruit of learning and letting our hearts expand so fundamentally.

Justin Igleskis

You know, when you're on a fast track to rock bottom and crashing and burning out, it's a gift.

Justin Igleskis

It's a gift because it's going to break you.

Justin Igleskis

And when you get broken, you will get stronger.

Justin Igleskis

There's not another option.

Justin Igleskis

And you know that quote, right?

Justin Igleskis

Like God wouldn't give you anything, you can't carry.

Justin Igleskis

Feel that thing.

Justin Igleskis

Because whatever it is that you're carrying right now, it's meant to strengthen you.

Justin Igleskis

If we live in the land of self pity, victimhood, distraction, that weight is going to pile up.

Justin Igleskis

And that's not good.

Justin Igleskis

That's not good.

Justin Igleskis

But again, it, what does it mean?

Justin Igleskis

Good.

Justin Igleskis

So when we zoom out in the short term, yeah, it's going to be not good.

Justin Igleskis

But in the big picture, the rock bottom is going to help you learn faster.

Justin Igleskis

Because when you hit that bottom, you really don't have a choice but to bounce right back up.

Justin Igleskis

You really don't have a choice, else your life is going to.

Justin Igleskis

You may have to stew in that oven for a bit.

Justin Igleskis

You may have to let that furnace get real hot.

Justin Igleskis

You might have to, right?

Justin Igleskis

But inevitably, I know you're wise enough to learn from what your, your heart and what your mind is showing you.

Justin Igleskis

Just look.

Justin Igleskis

Just look.

Justin Igleskis

Now the secret trick to never getting trapped in a low energetic state of mind, okay?

Justin Igleskis

And that is, right, it's change.

Justin Igleskis

We change how we live and then what we are changes too.

Justin Igleskis

So this means, right, how you wake up, what you eat, when you exercise, what Exercises you do.

Justin Igleskis

Do you listen to music while you exercise?

Justin Igleskis

I would highly recommend that you give yourself at least a few workouts per week with no music.

Justin Igleskis

I do not care.

Justin Igleskis

I do not care if you're going to the gym and the gym is playing whatever music that you don't like.

Justin Igleskis

There's something about constant stimulation that keeps us lost.

Justin Igleskis

There really is.

Justin Igleskis

If we are always stimulated and never silent with ourselves.

Justin Igleskis

Hearing the breeze, the birds going for a walk, the crunch of the leaves, the crunch of the snow, listening to the rain crackle on the leaves, whatever it may be, if we do not have those moments where we can hear our own thinking, that's scary.

Justin Igleskis

That can get real dark fast.

Justin Igleskis

So what I'm saying is, you know the secret trick to never getting trapped in a low energetic state is changing your lifestyle so that you're not so stimulated and that you're actually energetically aligned.

Justin Igleskis

So this means clean food, this means fresh air.

Justin Igleskis

This means less stimulation, less scrolling, more meaningful work.

Justin Igleskis

Right.

Justin Igleskis

Time block.

Justin Igleskis

90 minutes.

Justin Igleskis

Eat fresh air, exercise, keep your life simple.

Justin Igleskis

Work on what you care about and keep your life simple.

Justin Igleskis

That's really the trick.

Justin Igleskis

If you can piece that together, you're going to have a beautiful life.

Justin Igleskis

Don't believe me, you can't believe me.

Justin Igleskis

But you can test it out yourself and then get back to me, right?

Justin Igleskis

I'd love to hear that.

Justin Igleskis

I'd love to hear.

Justin Igleskis

Oh, I tested out a few things that you shared and oh my gosh, I am feeling night and day.

Justin Igleskis

Shoot me that message.

Justin Igleskis

I'm looking out for it.

Justin Igleskis

Fundamentally.

Justin Igleskis

Right?

Justin Igleskis

The summary is emotional burnout is rooted in not paying attention to what matters most to you.

Justin Igleskis

To get unstuck, we need a solid relationship with our simple fundamentals.

Justin Igleskis

Make our life clear and simple from the foundation up.

Justin Igleskis

And there's beauty in noticing, feeling, seeing when you are trapped and letting yourself be honest about how that state was brought to be.
