[00:00:00] Hey, hey. Welcome back to Selling Your Expertise. I'm your host, Renee Hribar sales strategist and your behind the scenes sales whisperer who believes sales should never feel like pressure. Today we're talking about what to do after you've made your love list and started reconnecting. You've got people's attention.

Now what? Most people either ghost or go straight into pitch mode. But here's the thing, people don't buy when they understand you. They buy when they feel understood. I want you to really absorb that and that's where what I call the sales bridge comes in. Lemme tell you a quick story. A while back I reached out to someone I had helped years ago.

She was not a client, just someone I had supported in a mastermind. I sent her a voice memo and I asked her a specific [00:01:00] question about her work and I shared a post that I had recently written on the topic. The result, we hopped on a short reconnection call, Hey, let's check in, and within a week she became a private client of mine, which, as you know, starts at $10,000.

Why? Because I built a bridge between what she was dealing with and the value I could provide. The bridge was built with this, a genuine message, number one, not a pitch. Two, a piece of what I call anchor content. Anchor content is a story-based authority building piece of content that is a demonstration of how my brain solves problems.

It always ends with the questions that someone should ask themselves if they're experiencing the same problems as the character in the story. Again, it's story based authority building. Content that is a [00:02:00] demonstration of my brain. I love anchor content so much. I've been creating it for clients for years, and now I'm able to give them custom GPTs that they can create their own.

It's brilliant. So number one was a genuine message, not a pitch. Number two was a piece of anchor content that reflected back her struggle. So it very much related to the character and the story that I told. In that piece of anchor content. And number three, a simple question that invited conversation. So one thing you'll hear me say over and over and over again is that these bridges from, Hey, I just met someone to, wow, we're working together and I love it.

And you know, I get paid well. And she gets great advice and she gets great attraction. That bridge. Is built on genuine questions, not BS questions, not just some questions you got because you thought you should ask him or you downloaded some script. And heck, I have scripts too, but they really [00:03:00] have to come with the right intention.

It's definitely not about convincing. It is about. Connecting. So here's your action step. Pick one person you've connected with and send them a DM with a genuine compliment. And one, let's say un Googleable question. What I mean is not some question that you could have just looked up. If you can look it up and find the answer, don't ask that question.

So instead asked the question. Of, you know, what inspired you to do that? Or what are your plans for the future or what's on your radar in the next three months? Or have you thought about this? Or what about that? So it has to be something that cannot be Googled to make it work in this scenario. If you want examples of what this sounds like, everything I do inside of my programs.

Is to this point. [00:04:00] And so I am so excited that you're here and I want you to go to ask me coach.com and get all the links to all the important places to find out exactly how you can take this next step. And I really wanna hear on Friday if you've done it. And so on Friday, I'll walk you through the exact messaging structure that I use every time I want to warm up a cold lead.

I'll see you Friday.
