Let me guess.
Speaker:You've had one of those months, invoices went
Speaker:out, the clients were happy, and then suddenly silence.
Speaker:You check your bank account.
Speaker:It's not panic exactly, but it's close that my friend
Speaker:is the feast and famine cycle and it's exhausting.
Speaker:If you've ever thought, I just wanna know the money's
Speaker:coming in consistently, then today's episode is going to
Speaker:make you breathe a little easier because we are talking
Speaker:today about recurring revenue what it is, it changes
Speaker:everything, and how to create
Speaker:it in your business
Speaker:without working harder.
Speaker:One of my favorite topics, this is.
Speaker:Building a business with stable, predictable income.
Speaker:And we are going to unpack three big ideas, the power
Speaker:of recurring revenue, how to build memberships or
Speaker:retainers that actually make money, and how to sell your
Speaker:offers to organisations, not just individuals.
Speaker:So if you are ready to move from chaos to
Speaker:consistency, grab your cup.
Speaker:' cause this one's full of gold.
Speaker:I wanna talk about the power of recurring revenue.
Speaker:Revenue that repeats is revenue, that
Speaker:releases pressure.
Speaker:When I first started coaching my business was
Speaker:all one-off projects.
Speaker:Great money, but super inconsistent.
Speaker:One month I'd be flying.
Speaker:The next would be wondering where the next
Speaker:client was coming from.
Speaker:He did my head in.
Speaker:Then I built thriving women.
Speaker:A program with a membership model.
Speaker:monthly recurring revenue suddenly everything changed.
Speaker:could plan, could hire, I could breathe.
Speaker:That's what recurring revenue does.
Speaker:It gives you stability and headspace.
Speaker:It lets you think long term instead of
Speaker:living month to month.
Speaker:I wanna talk about Marissa.
Speaker:Marissa has been selling individual leadership courses,
Speaker:but each launch felt like starting from scratch.
Speaker:So we got together and we crunched the numbers.
Speaker:We realized if she sold a $49 a month membership to
Speaker:organisations, she only needed to sell 307 members
Speaker:to hit 15 grand per month.
Speaker:But if she did that in organizational land where
Speaker:there was 20 to 30 to 50 women in leadership,
Speaker:a much easier sell.
Speaker:It was not a dream.
Speaker:It was a strategy.
Speaker:Here's what I want you to do.
Speaker:I want you to take your current income goal
Speaker:and ask yourself, "What would it look like
Speaker:if 80% of this came in on repeat?" I want you to think
Speaker:about retainers, memberships, subscriptions, anything
Speaker:that keeps cash flowing without you starting from
Speaker:zero every single month.
Speaker:Because that's when you stop chasing stales and
Speaker:start building security.
Speaker:If you've been listening to this podcast for
Speaker:quite some time, you'll know that financial
Speaker:security is my main aim.
Speaker:I want women to make money so that they feel
Speaker:financially secure.
Speaker:That's the first thing.
Speaker:is awesome.
Speaker:Profit is even better
Speaker:so you can reinvest in your business.
Speaker:I wanna talk to you about designing offers
Speaker:that create stability.
Speaker:See, recurring revenue isn't about slapping a subscription
Speaker:on something that doesn't fit.
Speaker:It's about designing offers that deliver ongoing value.
Speaker:One of One of my clients, she runs an outsourcing agency,
Speaker:and she used to work on project by project contracts,
Speaker:great for short bursts, but exhausting to manage.
Speaker:And together we turned her packages into monthly
Speaker:retainers with defined deliverables and check-ins.
Speaker:It was outcome focused and her clients loved it.
Speaker:They got consistent support.
Speaker:She got predictable cash flow and within three months
Speaker:she doubled her income and halved her stress.
Speaker:That's the power of a well-structured offer.
Speaker:I wanna put a caveat in here.
Speaker:You still need to deliver.
Speaker:Well, not enough to have a bright, shiny offer and
Speaker:charge X amount of money without delivering it.
Speaker:Well, You have to deliver it well.
Speaker:So here's the question that I've got for you.
Speaker:The question you need to ask yourself is, where do
Speaker:my clients need consistency and how can I build that
Speaker:into my business model?
Speaker:Could it be a monthly support package?
Speaker:Could it be a quarterly mastermind?
Speaker:Is it an ongoing membership?
Speaker:Remember, recurring revenue isn't just good for you, it's
Speaker:also good for your clients.
Speaker:It creates trust, rhythm, and long term results.
Speaker:I wanna talk about selling to organisations,
Speaker:not just individuals.
Speaker:So if we were gonna dial this up a notch, and back
Speaker:to Marissa who went, okay, here's what I can do for
Speaker:individuals and here's what I can do in organisations.
Speaker:Sometimes recurring revenue, grows faster when you
Speaker:sell to organisations kind of makes sense, right?
Speaker:Individuals often buy once.
Speaker:They're kind of one and done.
Speaker:Businesses buy repeatedly.
Speaker:There is employee turnover.
Speaker:they need different levels of offers for different
Speaker:levels in the organization.
Speaker:Once you get in one organization, you
Speaker:get recommended for other organisations.
Speaker:And Marissa and I talked about her shifting her focus
Speaker:from these individual women, to corporate HR teams.
Speaker:So instead of chasing 500 solo signups, could sell
Speaker:10 corporate memberships.
Speaker:which each bring in 50 women.
Speaker:It's a totally different game.
Speaker:It is a level up, I'm not going to lie to you.
Speaker:It's not about marketing harder in that it's actually
Speaker:about marketing smarter.
Speaker:It's about being a bit more strategic because you're
Speaker:selling one contract, not 50 conversations,
Speaker:The stakes can be higher.
Speaker:If you are considering selling to organisations or
Speaker:corporates, I want you to do this as the next step.
Speaker:Identify three to five organisations that align
Speaker:with your mission, your purpose, your target market,
Speaker:and then ask, what's one way I could help their
Speaker:team to perform better, communicate better, lead
Speaker:better, whatever the thing is.
Speaker:Then simply reach out with your idea.
Speaker:You are not pitching a product, you're offering
Speaker:a solution, and you're also not pitching.
Speaker:You're building relationships.
Speaker:And once they're in, that recurring revenue plays out
Speaker:the revenue plays to scale.
Speaker:So let's pull this all together.
Speaker:Recurring revenue gives you freedom.
Speaker:It's the antidote to burnout.
Speaker:Smart offers build sustainability.
Speaker:Think long-term relationships, not one-time wins.
Speaker:Corporate clients multiply your impact.
Speaker:One sale can create dozens of seats at your table.
Speaker:When you design your business for consistent
Speaker:income, you stop reacting and you start leading.
Speaker:And that's when you really become the
Speaker:CEO of your business.
Speaker:You're calm, confident, and in control.
Speaker:And isn't that what we all want?
Speaker:Right now you might be interested in creating
Speaker:recurring revenue.
Speaker:You've just listened to this and thought it's amazing.
Speaker:Trust me, it is amazing.
Speaker:But how do you actually get it done?
Speaker:it's great to have a dream.
Speaker:But you gotta kind have a plan.
Speaker:This is where I come in.
Speaker:We can look at your business, we can look at the current
Speaker:operations, your current business model, and we can
Speaker:shift it and shape it help you have the freedom and
Speaker:stability in your business.
Speaker:what
